Terrible. no soap in the bathroom, and it didn't lock. Half the games didn't work and were obviously a scam. Card machine takes money without providing credits. Worst arcade i?ve ever been to.
They have signs up "play at your own risk" and I totally understand why. Most of the games were broken and taken credits from our card. We spent $30 and lost half our credits because the games would scan our card, take our credits, but then would let us play. The ice ball games would dispense the balls so couldn't play to even get tickets for prizes. It was a big waste for us. There was no employees or workers to help fix these problems either so just left with our lost money. So just beware most games don'
So the big reel game doesn't count towards your tickets, fair warning, the claw machines have next to no grip just honestly not great not a lot of options and literally no staff. I couldn't tell anyone about the ticket issue and that's what really got me, it is pretty clean for an unstaffed arcade though!
Avoid. Place is just sad. Unmanned. Camera hanging from ceiling. Bathroom doesn't lock and no soap. Forget trying to redeem tickets - not possible. If you just want to play games for some fun, that's about that's all you can do.
Granddaughter had a pretty good time she's 5. But could not redeem tickets. Also several games not working and card didnt work on others. Site is unmanned and we finally got a number. Guy never showed then called 30 minutes after we got back to out cabin to say someonewas there.. From comments of two other establishments( while we were trying to find out who was responsible) this is business as usual for this arcade. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere.
Used to enjoy it for something to do with my son here but the past 4 or 5 times this year havent been great. Games not working things seemingly rigged and over priced.
My son had a very good time. It's small and unmanned. Unfortunately he played one game that didn't give him a reward. But ultimately he really enjoyed himself.
I'm assuming based on the pictures that this place changed dramatically during covid. There's no longer a counter or staff. It's completely remote. You buy a card with game points on it then scan at each game and the tickets are automatically loaded onto the card then you shop with the card at a toy vending machine. Really cool concept vs the old school quarter and paper tickets. The problem is 1/3, of the games give and error or red screen when you try to play. Some take your points then don't function. T
We've lost money with no help from the owners the last two times we visited. The reload machine takes your money without dispensing cards. The jackpot machine doesn't dispense prizes. We left messages at the owners voicemail after getting the contact info from the restaurant. No one has bothered to contact us.
This is a great place to take kids on a rainy or snowy day. But remember it's just a small arcade in a small town. Not sure when they updated but it's all automated now.. There's a machine to use cash or debit to get a card and the card keeps track of your points, then you put card into a machine later and pick a prize. It may be small but has nice selection of games from air hockey & skeeball to old school arcade games like Pacman & some newer racing & shooter games. Always been clean & well taken care of
The girl at the ticket redemption counter was great and patient with my grandkids, she took all the time they needed to help them get their prizes, which for a 4 and 3 year old can be challenging . Please know that she is tops for customer service. Thank you for making our family welcome as always!!!!
Please take off the sign "hotdog bar". You dont have one and thats false advertising. We took a bunch of hungry kids there and there was nothing. I know covid has changed alot of things but you cant call yourself a hotdog bar without hotdogs. Plus the lady next door to restaurant that runs the place was extremely rude when we asked about it.
Not safe steals no one to help and disgusting
Place is a joke. Their prize machine takes tickets without dispensing anything, no employee/attendant anywhere to be found. Don't waste your $$.
Ski ball machines took my credits but never let me play. Stole my money and no customer service to help.
Won the jackpot. Didn't get the tickets. Machine gives false prizes as well.
We wandered in while workers were still installing or updating games. Looks like a great place to take kids.
Unfortunately they are still closed due to Covid. I wish that status would have been reflected online. It is a fun small arcade when the world isn't ending.
Great place to take kids during day. Avoid with small kids on the weekends at night as it is located between two restaurants with bars.
Half the games don't work and noone works there to help. Waste of time and money.
Perfect little spot to entertain the family after dinner :) all of the games were so fun.
Three games took our money or "points".
Really cool to have an adult game place like this in a ski area
Awesome, fun clean and entertaining !
Good stuff, fun times!
Kids loved this local spot
About 1/4 of the games don't work. No one works here it's just ran through cameras so you can't tell anyone and there's no warning signs. Be prepared to spend money for things that don't work. The games that do work are fun but it's a shame there's no warning on inoperable games, that still operate enough to take your money.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
