love love love this place, so much better than Dave n busters or any other arcade. very intimate experience with good food, love working on my high scores and logging pinball stats via QR codes. a must visit! also, the kids slider meal is my favorite.

I absolutely LOVED this place, only $15 per person who plays, loved how cheap it was. Also I loved playing the ice cold beer game and duck hunt! I definitely plan on celebrating my birthday here. The food was delicious as well, ESPECIALLY the cheese fries!

Such a great spot to spend a few hours. Flat fee for unlimited games. Food and drinks available. Go early to beat the crowd, lots of cool events. Seems like a good spot for bday parties.

Ultimate Nostalgia. Visited as a 90's born gamer and a host of a special event. Great pricing for all day play. Their theme nights seem fun as well. The party we had there was amazing. Recommendations for parties: Utilize your room time! I rushed the event not realizing we still had all day play for our guests. Staff was helpful and accommodating for out leftover food. Great experience every time

Great place for endless entertainment. One entry fee gets you in the doors. After that, it's free play on all the games! Great selection of new and older pinball machines. The kitchen makes amazing loaded fries and burgers. They also have really good bands and/or DJs on certain nights. I guarantee if you go, you'll wanna keep going, so they even offer monthly and yearly passes.

This very retro arcade is so cool! The selection of games is amazing. The retro vibes are fun and so nostalgic. I visited to check it out and see if it's family friendly. Everybody I spoke with, from the staff to other customers, were very friendly. I was extremely pleased with the atmosphere, everybody was there to have fun and play! While it was mostly adults, there were some kids running around as well. ?? The space itself is interesting because it doesn't really seem that huge but it also didn't feel c

Great time here. You pay once and then play for free till the end. Food is good

What a great place. Returned my childhood love for arcade games and pin ball machines. We enjoyed, Double Dragon, TMNT, X-Men, Track and Field, Ghosts and Goblins, Joust, Paperboy, etc. All games were free to play, they just gave us a wristband.

My kids attend a birthday party at Reclaim Arcade. The moment you walk in you get slapped in the face with childhood memories. The place was clean and came to life with ages young and old playing arcade games. We had a blast and I can't wait to go back!!! They also have food, drinks, a food truck, and even karaoke! The staff members were amazing and worked hard to keep the place tidy while kids ran around. Definitely a place to take family and friends.

Brought me back to when I was growing up in the 80s. Loved playing all the old arcade games. We will definitely be coming back again and again.

Fun date or group hang spot! $15 flat fee to play all games for however long you want ??

Very cool place to visit. Played lots of games with my 24 year old daughter. I felt like a kid again! This place will have you feeling like you walked back in time!

Always a great selection of modern and yesteryears' pinball machines. For $10-15 all day play , it is a no-brainer. Also, has a pub for grub inside which is a bonus compared to many of the other great pinball arcades around the US.

Such an awesome arcade, it reminds me of the mall arcades of my youth, but only better! For a single entrance fee you get all games on free play, you can play and continue as much as you want. Plenty of classic arcade and pinball machines to choose from, as well as a cool old school "living room" with and old TV and several classic video game systems hooked up to it. They also have food and a great selection of craft beers, all reasonably priced. The entire staff was fantastic too. We will be returning

Fun place filled with retro games that I played as a kid + many more besides. Very well priced so definitely value for money.& a nice selection of food & drink should you wish. Friendly staff too.

So happy to have found this place! I visited with my kid and we both had such a fun time. We tried every pinball machine and picked our favorites. We had fun battling on some multiplayer arcade games. Sitting down and playing Mario on the SNES was so nostalgic and we laughed so hard. Overall it was a wonderful experience at an amazing price. I can't wait to visit again and bring the rest of the family. This place is a gem! So nostalgic and so much fun!

You will definitely have a good time at this place. Some machines are down, but I assume it's due to the action they see on day to day basis. Great food, atmosphere, and prices ??

So much fun! What a unique concept and it is very well executed. It's extremely clean and the food is very good. Reasonably priced as well especially compared to somewhere with games that take credits that will get used up like D&B. If anything another little living room or an extra TV in the one would be nice because there are the Nintendos and VHSs that you can use on it.

Customer service: Excellent Games : All working and clean Food: Made to order and delicious (chicken tenders & fries) my picky 8yr old devoured it. Atmosphere: where a kid can be a kid and an adult can be a kid. Fun for all! I will definitely be going back, this place is great!

This was our first time at the arcade, my 9 & 12 year old boys and myself. We had so much fun. It was a bit pricy for us at $10 a person, but VERY worth it. I was surprised that the fee covered 9 hours of play that day! The value for your money compared to other places was fantastic. No tickets or tokens to contend with, just playing the games. The place is clean and well kept and awesomely decorated with memorabilia. The people working there were also friendly and helpful. The fact that they have a homesc

It was pretty fun to play lots of old arcade games. There are lots of pinball machines too. They also have a NES, SNES, and Genesis available to play. But only 1 can be played at a time. If going with 3 people, just buy the monthly pass. The cashier didn't tell us that. So after we bought our day passes, she told us about the monthly and yearly passes and wouldn't let us upgrade to a monthly pass. Kind of a rip off especially since she told us immediately after we paid. She said she can't refund or upgrade

Went last night for the 1st time and a great experience. From walking in the door staff were friendly and helpful with information. Place made me feel like I stepped back into the late 80s / early 90s. I'm looking forward to coming back again. Price: $15/ person for unlimited playtime for about 80+ arcade games and pinball machines. Food/Drinks: we didn't get anything this time but they did have a large beer and cider menu (didn't see wine or cocktails unless I just overlooked it).

Just visited for the first time, Oct 2023. We haven't had an area arcade in at least 30 years, and Reclaim didn't disappoint. Looked like at least 40 arcade machines, 20 pinball machines, skee ball, craft brews, food. The arcade cabinets were all in GREAT working order. Only 2 were having issues. During one long game of Donkey Kong, I saw staff walk around and wipe the machines clean at least twice. Very family friendly, saw people of all ages. When I stopped in, it was $15 for unlimited play, and on Satur

The games were great and well maintained. We loved the environment. Their game console area felt like a living room in the 90s. The food and drink options were good too. We'll definitely go back.

Always a great time. They have tournaments, good beer selection, food is available to order.

This place is outstanding! So cool! If you're into nostalgia, then this is your place. Their food is extremely good also??

This place is tremendous...a step back into the 80s/90s! Tons of great pinball along with a ton of favorite cabinet games...Asteroids, Frogged, Defender, Qbert, and many more. Love that they've added food and beers to the menu, although I wish they had a few more drafts. Great price for a ton of fun!

Me and my grandpa were so excited to come here! Service for food was of the charts! Got some fries and wow they tasted so good! Games were free no money needed! A few things changed when I came back. Jukebox was there and service was awesome before and I just loved it.

1st time here with my daughter and grandson to celebrate Charlie's 6th grade graduation. Great old school Pinball and games, plus new. And the food was surprisingly good! Personal favs Twilight Zone, King Kong and Star Wars, plus Atari!

Had a great time yesterday at this place. Took my kids there to experience what a real arcade is,. The 80/90s nostalgia and memorabilia is so cool. They do have food and drinks. Highly recommended.

Went yesterday. My kids and parents loved it. Not crowded, a huge selection of games, very nice staff. Good bar and really good food. My hubby is vegan and he had great options. Much better than anticipated, would recommend in a heartbeat! Like stepping back to my childhood games and some new ones too. Killer pinball selection. It on special price for $10 instead of $15, play as much as you want. Having my kids not fully grasp how to play games, the open play concept is so much better than blowing through a

I was planning to come to this location a few weeks ago and could not. So I knew coming back here would be good. I had assumed this was a vintage video store. I was very surprised that it was a '80s '90s arcade. You could stay here all day paying $15! I really had a good time very nostalgic place and I would like to take more people to this place. I took a bunch of their cards! I have let people know about this location. Especially to unwind after a long day of work, finals or going on a trip down memory l

By far one of the coolest little places we have been in a long time!!! It is amazing to go in and feel like a kid again!!! We will def come back again and again!!! Thank you for the unique spot to spend a day being entertained for a fraction of the cost anywhere else!!!!

Nostalgic, clean, and a heck of alot of fun. Every thing from the games to the snack bar to the overall friendliness of the staff are all 2nd to none at an un beatable price. Thank you for a great time every time!

Good fun for all ages, 15 bucks gets you in the door to play free unlimited games from throw back.pin ball to current pin ball, skee ball, and arcade machine. They have food, soda and beer. They even do karokee some nighs and there's a bday party room. You can also play old skool Nintendo, super Nintendo, Sega systems. There's even an area to watch old vhs movies

I was here for the first time for a birthday party and WOW! I was blown away by the amount of games that were here and working. I think there were more working games than any arcade I ever went to as a kid! The selection was great: pinball, regular arcade games, and also table games (not sure what they are called, but the kind where you sit on either side to play... like PAC MAN was). It was nostalgic, but modern. Both myself (born in the 80s) and my six-year-old son had a blast. This is a MUST-DO! One (lo

Very nice relatively clean arcade. I really like the one price entry and the adjacent faux living room was a nice rest area when the lights and sounds got to be too much. Lots of older games to fawn over and a nice, diverse selection of pinball machines. The pinball machines were very well maintained and appeared to be upper tier models. There were a few that were out of order, but still enough in a playable state.

One price for all you can play arcade and pinball machines. Add on quality craft beer and a food truck, what more could you need!? Machines are maintained well and I think only 1 out of a dozen pinball machines was having issues. There's even an 80s/90s era living room to watch VHS tapes and play retro console games. Now I just need a location to open up closer to NoVA and I'll be there every evening ??

Great fun and reasonable prices. Good food as well! Center has been redesigned since initial visit and it's much more open and food options expanded! Definitely worth a visit.

Our family had the best time at this arcade! Not only were the games fun, but the food was delicious too. We will absolutely be back again

Great fun and great value. Food is good and so awesome to get to play unlimited arcade and pinball games. Loved it!!

We came with a group of 7 people to play some games on a Wednesday evening. We had 2 kids with us who both got in free for their Wednesday night special. We entered through their 80's Console Room, which was such a cool visual and homage to vintage gaming systems. They had Nintendo, Super Nintendo, LaserDiscs movies, VHS movies, and music on vinyl with a turntable. They also had a massive selection of games to choose from for the Nintendo and Super Nintendo. Inside the arcade there was a great selection o

Just celebrated my daughters Stranger Things themed birthday party and what a perfect location and everyone had a blast. Her favorite character is Max so she had to play dig dug. The party room was awesome. So many great games to play and did not have to wait to play them.

Not that busy - good food! I have sensitive stomach and the food was delicious. Great bag for your buck and felt immersive

My family had a fun time here. The price was great! Lots of nostalgic games, that we were able to introduce our kids to.

Heard about this spot since it opened and was finally able to make it over: it was even better than what I had expected! Highly recommended for a day/night of pure enjoyment, especially for the cost ?? As the 80?s icon stated, ? I'll be back?

Had a blast playing pinball, and video games like "Asteroids" from my youth. My son also enjoyed it. "Frogger" is a Seinfeld reference for my daughter. ??

We had a great time! We came from out of town and need something for the whole family to enjoy. Adults, teens, and tween approved.

I LOVED this place. We came for a date night on a whim. I loved the selection of games and pinball. I especially appreciated that all of the games are on free play, no need for coins or scanning. Prices are decent as well. We enjoyed it so much we plan on having my daughter's birthday party here.

Ok many of the 30+ year-old arcade games are having technical difficulties, but they are mainly there for nostalgia. The pinball machines are the real entertainment, I could play pinball all day long. Love that they have stools for the little ones, too. Oh and also A+ for staff who are very friendly but not afraid to tell misbehaving teens to calm the F down

This place is it! I will come here every time I'm in town. The teens had a great time hanging in the 80?s console living room playing FIFA 94 on the Super Nintendo console. We loved all the pinball games and I always love playing all the PAC Man games. The staff was friendly and so helpful! What a great group of employees! Love this place!!

We have been here a handful of times, most recently to celebrate my sons 13th birthday. Always a good time, we enjoy trying to beat each other's high scores and the adults always end up reminiscing about our childhoods. It is great for a family outing (I wouldn't recommend bringing kids under 7 or 8) or as a date night.

This place is great! One fee for all day play, a decent food truck, and a wide beer selection! The retro game room is spectacular as is their film library. My whole family enjoys it, down to the 3-year-old pinball wizard!

Great arcade with a variety of classic games and pinball machines. They also have a huge selection of VHS and laserdisc that you can watch in their '80s style living room. Excellent pricing and we will definitely be back! ** Update. They have now expanded to have a small kitchen, bar, and event space. They just made the awesome awesomer!!

Love the place. Very cool and nostalgic. You enter through a video rental store, cut through a retro style living room and enter the arcade filled with classics. All original arcade hardware. No replicas. No emulators. You hear music of the 80s being blasted on the speakers. Pinballs had a great selection. Mainly current pins. Would definitely go again.

If you are looking for something different to do this is the place! Reclaim Arcade has many classic of our GenX era. From pinball machines to the classics arcades like Galaga, Mortal Combat, Terminator, Mrs PacMan, and more. The venue provides an outdoor space for sitting, also a small space for private events and it may be rented for larger private events as well. You truly can't miss this place. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Reclaim Arcade also has a bar and a food menu (simple but tasty). Highly recomm

Really great place, a hidden gem. Took us back to our childhood and we had a great time. Reasonable prices and you can come and go all day. We will be regulars.

Best thing to come to fredericksburg in a long time! You enter to a room full of vhs and nostalgia everywhere to be greeted by friendly employees next room is a family room designed like the 80s with vhs you can pick and sit and watch or play oldschool game consoles lots of neat art and nostalgic items in it. The main arcade has a huge selection with unlimited play they also serve canned and bottles alcohol and non alcoholic drinks great prices on the drinks and snacks! They also serve food and have kids me

What an experience-- a fun and authentic recreation of the best of the 80s, when arcades were everywhere! Lots of machines, both arcade games and pinball. The games ranged from early vector graphic titles from the beginning of the arcade era (very hard to find and play!) through to the 90s' more-advanced hardware. Best part is all the machines are set to free-play, so no tokens/quarters needed. Out of all of them, I only counted 2-3 machines that weren't working. One minor problem is that I found several o

We were visiting friends in the area who asked if we'd like to go to a party with them to this location. We walked into the building and were immediately transported back in time to our childhood! The lobby and 80's rec room had all the 80's memorabilia that ever existed. From Laser Discs, to old Macintosh computers, Atari cartridges, VHS tapes and players, a wood paneled entertainment center with a cathode television set hooked up to an Atari, a Nintendo, a Super Nintendo, and a Sega Master system. Alo

The price, the game varieties and staff was great, I definitely recommend visiting as often as you can it was fun, nostalgic and overall wonderful place to hang out.

Fabulous fun with unexpectedly good food (smash burgers!). For grandkids and grandparents too! Definitely looking forward to our next visit.

Review by my 12 year old on his birthday "All the games are amazing and fun". The karaoke was another unexpected cool feature and the beer list is impressive - check this place out!

Mainly what you need to know: -It's $15 a person for a day pass(which means you can leave and come back any time until they close) -They sell drinks and good food -Service is fantastic -You can rent their party room, which gets you a personal room in the back with a large table and plenty of chairs, and then you are permitted to bring food in from outside the establishment (check website for details) -Best selection of arcade classics -Many unique features -It's a fantastic experience, and if you live close

Went here to celebrate my birthday today with my dad and we both had so much fun. A wide variety of games and friendly staff. We'll be back!

Took my grandkid here. We had a blast! Before I knew it 4.5 hours went buy! We will be coming back!

This is your go-to hangout for 80's and 90's nostalgia. The console living room was a unique surprise and strangely comforting yet cool atbthe same time. Kids enjoy the arcade but adults enjoy the repressed childhood memories brought forth by reliving classic games from their youth. Pricing is fair for the experience and admission is the only price you pay, as all the games inside are free after that. Arcade is also a great spot for party hosting with dedicated party room.

Ridiculously cool arcade. I wish we had something like this at home. The prices were incredibly reasonable, and the vibe and decor were superb. What an awesome place.

Love this place more than anything, I love it more than my own HOUSE. That food is DELICIOUS and i love waiting for pacman to be free, but...no pop'n?

This place was awesome!!! A true hidden gem. The food was great, the place was fun, and the people were wonderful. Definitely, high five to the chef for the awesome food menu! (Usually, its always the same crap kinda lunch menu everywhere the food is oily but Not this place! This chef really thought this thoroughly!) Compliments to the chef! Arcade portion was so much fun. One of my kiddos didn't want to leave and started making arrangements to come back sooner than later. Thank you owner of Reclaim Arcade

We went when we saw a ad in local guide books. It was $15 a person and Well worth it. Big selection of ciders and great fries

Very cool retro arcade with pinball games. Great experience with the family.

5 stars with a caveat.... Fun as hell for like an hour. We went for the New Years party and it was good. It was definitely well thought out with a DJ, finger foods, a bar, etc... But. But. You can only pinball and video game for a little while before you're ready to go. We lasted and hour and 10 mins before all four in my group were ready to go. Will definitely go again but, like I said, an absolute blast for like an hour or so.

One of the coolest arcades I've been to. This was the perfect place for my boyfriend's birthday celebration -- we are in our 30s and it had allllll of the nostalgia. Spent time going through the videos in the movie section and enjoyed the 80s themed living room. We were there on a Friday night around 9pm and stayed close to closing. No kids were allowed after 9pm that night and there was karaoke -- so fun to watch. It was pretty crowded but not overwhelmingly so. The game selection is huge! And there was a

Honestly that was a complete waste of money. Paid $45 for me and my family and we left literally 10 mins after we paid. Very boring environment, Definitely won't recommend to anyone.

Took my son and his friend; they absolutely loved it! They liked the food and loved playing all the different games.

Love this retro arcade. You start out by walking into what looks like a video store. The next room looks like a living room from the early 80s. You can sit, play Atari or one of the games in this room while visiting the arcade. They have such a variety of games to play that everyone will be entertained.

Lots of fun classic games here. From pinball to skeeball, Time Crisis 2, and 4 player arcade games, it's great every visit. Perfect place to bring friends and family visiting to the city as it has a bunch of retro arcade cabinets fun for all. I recommend getting the giant soft pretzel with beer cheese and visiting the comic shop in the same plaza.

Fantastic space, they do a great job of hitting on nostalgia for older patrons while also keeping it exciting and fun for younger patrons as well. Great selection of drinks, and the pretzel bites were delicious! Highly recommend!

This place was so fun for all of our group! Tim was an awesome host! The facilities were extremely clean which was really nice to see and hear many of the members of our group saying that same thing.

Generally a pretty okay arcade place, but there is some stuff I should let you know. 1: My friend, who looks only 18, was approached by a middle aged man looking for a one night stand. While thankfully nothing bad came from it, the fact that it happened is worrying to me, considering there is a number of (but not a majority of) younger kids in this establishment. 2: To add onto the first worry, I did not see many employees around monitoring the place - not one walking around. I would recommend, if you bri

I stopped by here today for the first time and had a wonderful experience. So many cool games and super friendly staff! Absolutely LOVE the R2-D2 figurine

Hidden Gem!! What a unique space with so many craft beers and games! We've brought friends in from Northern and Central VA - fun times for all :)

This place is so cool! Very nostalgic! Arcade games from Atari to super NES (I think). The new addition that opened it all up is lovely. They have ski ball too. The main room when you walk in is like a trip through time to a videogame / movie rental place. Then you're transitioning into a living room with all the great game systems! Also a sweet sound system with vinyls and cassette decks. So rad ????

The nostalgia from this place was unreal. I was able to play console games, everything was free to play, there were drinks and they even had food that was accommodating to my wife's allergies. 15 dollars was more than worth it and I will be going back again. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

This arcade is so cool!! It is a trip back to the 80s in so many ways. Love all the games, pinball, neon lights, VHS tape. The 80s living room and rental store front near the entrance are so well-done. Can't wait to come back!!

This place is a blast, so glad we found it. The retro games are so much fun, brings back many memories from youth. The facility is very nice. From outside it looks small and a little sketchy. However once you walk in that impression is gone. Perfectly set up and very large. Strikes just the right balance between pure 80s/90s arcade and purposeful nostalgia. All the right games...every time I turned a corner I found myself saying "...oh they have THAT one". And amazingly...the decidedly no 80s/90s ar

How I have not written a review yet is beyond me. This place is a 10 out of 10. Staff is kind and attentive and their game selections are on point. Food is delicious and don't forget their party room rental. We have held 2 parties here and both have been well received. Its an afforable and fun option. We love this place and will continue to frequent it. Come get your retro game fix and then come back again and again for all the fun!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
