??Love this place came here with my minor kid and we had a blast playing with all that we could, would recommend it. ??
Great idea but needs a reboot! The place started out like a neat place to go but has since fallen apart. My girl told me about the place when she first moved down from Conyers. Her and my son had checked it out so she wanted to go back for a date night and we did and had a good time but that was a couple years back. Since then we revisited a couple more times and most of the games either don't work, take your coins, or only one player.
Awesome arcade bar. Cool mix of video game themed cocktails. I've been to plenty of "barcades" around the country. This one is on the smaller side, but it's a great time nonetheless. The DDR style machine is definitely a knockoff but it gets the job done. Cool little spot.
Awesome arcade in the middle of Georgia. A solid selection of classic games, light gun games, pinball, and console. Staff was nice and knowledgeable.
This place is a hole in the wall, fun environment for all ages!!!
It's a great place to grab a drink and play some pinball! They don't serve food, so plan accordingly. Kids are welcome earlier in the evening than it's adults only
This place is great fun. Bar with retro games. Bartender was very friendly. Games were fun and affordable and great selection of beer. Will go again.
Really cute place. The arcade games are super cute and fun to play, and they make it easy to get changed for tokens. The drinks are good, but not the best I've ever had. However they have a really cool Hobbit themed menu as well as a video game menu. They also serve THC and CBD drinks. The comedy stage area is extremely loud in comparison to the rest of the bar.
The arcade had a lot of old school games to offer. My fianc?e was super excited to visit. We paid $10 and got 40 coins most of the machines take 1 coin per play. The atmosphere was nice, and inviting.
One of my favorite places in Macon a wide selection of pinball machines and classic games. My girlfriend and I spent a good amount of time here during one of our vacations a good place to interact with others at multi-player arcade cabinets.
Kinda wish you got a few more tokens for the money. I am buying drinks.
I love this place. I haven't played in an arcade since I was in highschool, and that was longer ago than I'd like to say. Lol. The drinks are yummy and the atmosphere is chill. You don't have to worry about any fights here.
Cool retro arcade, with a bar. Drinks? cool atmosphere, and fun games. Staff were personable and helpful. Great little spot!
Great selection of games to play on. I didn't do any drinking or sampling of their food. The bartender was helpful in purchasing of tokens for the games and the prices seemed to be reasonable as well. I will definitely return again if I'm in the area.
Absolutely upset went in and waited for service didn't get help at the bar everyone seemed trash. One person came up to us holding 2 beers and stated he worked there but didn't offer to help us. So upset
Had a great time for an impromptu birthday treat! Love the atmosphere and the drinks have such fun themes.
What a great place to go for drinks and arcade fun! We had such a good time. Staff are friendly and we had no issues with the machines working.
First thing I noticed about this place was the big picture of Chun-Li on the window. This place had all kinds of old arcade games and really cool drinks to match. I had the ButterBeer and the Poison Apple and they were both good. Great casual place with TV's, and a small kids area. I definitely recommend
Such a fun place to hang with friends. They allow kids during the day which my kids love since they can play the arcade and pin ball games for just a token each. They offer a large assortment of board, card, and trivia games as well to use while there. Service is always fantastic.
Plenty of video games and the drinks are very creative and taste good. The bartender kept a eye on me when I got a little too drunk, and kept asking if I was fine throughout my stay to sober up. I ALWAYS grab a Groot shot when I come, as a small tradition. They have more games whenever I come back
Full bar with themed specialty drinks, fun variety of arcade and board games, and local art for purchase on display. Reasonable prices and welcoming staff. With tournaments and happy hours, there are lots of ways to experience and interact at the bar, maybe a great date night or just to hang out with other arcade lovers.
Nice place and a great idea. I just think it needs to be in a bigger place. The staff were friendly and my drink was great. I'll go back to play some games when it's less crowded.
Reboot is one of our favorite local places to go. They have a pretty wide variety of arcade games as well as themed drinks. But they also host events such as trivia, standup comedy, and bar crawls. And their slushies are the best.
I liked the atmosphere here and the guy on duty was nice. The only issue was losing money on too many games. A lot of the machines don't work. I do like the fact they have some of my fav arcade games from the 80s. Please do some maintenance on the games.
The dream of my youth becoming true - a bar with good beer, Arcade machines (incl the original Namco Galaga!), playable pinball machines and driving games. One play 25 ct, tokens available at the bar. Highlight in Macon! Not to miss!
There is too much to say for how awesome this place is. It is the best entertainment spot downtown, the best bar, they have the most awesome staff behind the bar, and the owners are friendly, responsive, and a great asset to downtown and Macon overall. There just aren't enough stars I can give.
Lots of cool games to pick from! Friendly staff and good snacking food to enjoy while you play!
Fun retro video game bar in downtown Macon. They also have boardgames and cornhole. We played some classics and drank some beer, but the highlight of the evening was using the old Nintendo 64 console with friends. I hadn't played Mario Cart in years. Fun times. Will go back for sure
1 token per game, old school games having flashbacks. A bar, finger foods, and diverse art made for a lot to check out. Was a nice visit.
Honestly nothing negative to say. Bartenders are super nice and the vibes are immaculate.
Very nice chill spot. Bartender very nice anD informative. Came after 6 $10 cover for child but they give you 10 bucks in tokens so it was worth it. Had to drinks sour apple and a fruity ?? drink. Nice portion and not expensive. They don't over charge you with the high tokens cost. All the arcades are reasonable. Will surely return.
Great potential. Games need some service. Especially the older pins. Adjust some game volumes and that would be great. I would go back.
Great, friendly atmosphere! There's arcade classics, board games, and even corn hole. It was pretty comfortable for its size.
Stopped in after having some lunch with my family. Great 80's-90's era games like X-Men vs Street Fighter Mortal Kombat II, Pac-Man, etc. Each game is a just a quarter! They also have a full bar, snacks, and an area to play retro console games.
Absolutely love it been going since they opened
Really fun first date/ hangout atmosphere, they have lethal weapon, dead pool and hook pinball machines! I also got introduced to abita strawberry lager here!
It was great. I love the concept. Definitely more games needed to help fill the nostalgia.
Amazing arcade, mostly for retro machines, but a treasure trove nonetheless. From Pump It Up to Lucky & Wild, to Tetris, to Mortal Kombat, to Crazy Taxi, there's a little something for everybody. The machines are kept up in very good shape; I only saw 2 out of order machines in a place with 50+ machines, which is pretty good for retro stuff. Great value for tokens: I spent about 3-4 hours in the arcade from only $20. A Wii was set up at the time I was there, it seemed to be in great order, however, I did no
I love this bar! It's a lot of fun and there's board games and all sorts of options.
Went here yesterday afternoon before 10, open sign was on, lights were on hours said closes at 12 . However the door was locked.
I like coming here because it's low-key. The drinks are good all the games work. They serve you with a smile Sometimes lol I have anxiety and I love going to this place. I feel comfortable.
Better than joystick Gamebar in Atlanta by far
Great games! Brings back childhood memories! So many favorites! Plus an above average alcohol selection! Good times
My family enjoyed our visit, can't wait to return
Really cool bar. The bartender is always nice and helpful. All the old video games bring back memories.
If one loved the arcades (video games/pinball machines) from 80's/90's this is a must stop. And what better way to enjoy the nostalgia moments then with a favorite alcoholic ?? beverage (responsibility of course). And they even use tokens, drop them in the coin slots.
I love this place. Old school arcade games and pinball machines. They also have a full bar and many tasty brews! This all makes for a great experience in the middle of downtown Macon. If I had to say anything it would be to have a tech that could keep more of the games running as they seem to have several machines down every time I go, many of them I would love to play. They had an open mic night the last time I went and the place was hoppin on a Saturday night. Good times!
Love this retro arcade. Reasonably priced. Great for a datenight or going with a group of friends. My husband and I have been several times. I love their movie themed bingo. Their drinks are tasty and none of their staff have ever been rude to us. Be prepared to show ID after 6pm. Cool place to bring your kids during early hours. Well stocked with all kinds of board games and corn hole.
If you and your kids like older arcade games. Then this is the place for ya'll. (before 6 pm after that, it's adults only)
Awesome place to hang. You can bring children during the day but around 6 or 7 becomes adult only. One of my favorite bars downtown. Good drinks and retro arcade games. And you can buy local fan art as well.
Nice atmosphere that reminds me of the ?good ole days.? I haven't been here often but I'm glad I actually played the games this time. It was soooo fun! Time flew by and I realized I was there for about 2 hours. The pricing is good and it doesn't take a lot of coins to have a ton of fun!
Fun fun fun hidden gem. Went mid week and was empty- which I liked b/c it gave me freedom to check it ALL OUT. The bartender was great - fixed wonderful drinks.Exciting thing is you can bring the kids. But be smart. It's for older kids and keep an eye on them - it's still a bar- but relaxed enough that adults can have fun and kids can have a good time spending time playing arcade with the parents- its not a babysitting hall. ANYWAY can't wait to return with my crew and have a blast.
$2 jello shots (strong) on the night I attended, so thassa instant 5 star from me. They've got the gamut of arcade games, which renders the venue somewhat crowded and antisocial but puts critical mass at a much lower number, so it's a balance. Staff have always been friendly, and water is self-serve, leaving tenders free to serve drinks efficiently. 4/5 on atmosphere bc it's in Macon, so it's a poorly populated bar. Nothing they can do about that; it's simply never going to be on the level of a major downt
Fun place to go to remember your childhood for those 30+. Gaming atmosphere, many games to choose from, including pin ball, classic arcade, system games, & even corn hole. My son & husband enjoy visiting Reboot... You get tokens & single player games are 1 token, multi player depends on how many are playing! Oh the memories this place brings back!
Delicious drinks. Had a very fun time here with my bf who introduced me to the place.
This place was so much fun. Good for drop in and hang out.
Fun place with retro board and video games and pinball. They have cosplay trivia, dance and karaoke nights. Reasonably priced drinks and snacks. You can bring your own food. Decent service at the bar. Limited number of restrooms causing long wait lines at times.
Shelby makes this place glooooow!!! The vibes are cool the drinks are fairly priced and the games are suuuuch a great throwback and fun arcade style !!!
Best bar in Macon! Amazing staff, awesome games. I come every time I'm in town!
This place has been open for a couple of years now and lots of new places have been added downtown, but it is still the coolest place in town to get a drink. The video games are mostly well maintained and cheap, the drinks are good and reasonably priced, the people are all awesome, and the staff is very good. So lucky to have this in Macon.
I found this wonderful place by accident. So happy I ended up here, getting some drinks and playing some games. They have something going on every night, it might be 2 for 1 Wells, or trivia, but there is something going on. Bartenders are very friendly. There's a good assortment of games (some have broken buttons), consoles to play for free, and traditional "backyard" games.
The service was friendly and helpful. I got $10 worth of tokens and was able to play all the games i wanted. They had many pinball machines available and retro arcade games. I was totally excited and would definitely return if I am ever in downtown macon.
Lots of ol school video and arcade games. Some were out of order, some didn't work right but there were a lot. The prices are pretty fair. Will go again
Super cute, fun, quick pop in, arcade and bar. I feel all walks of life can enter this facility and enjoy themselves. They have something special going on each day of the week like trivia, special made drinks, game tournaments, silent disco, costume contests. It is family friendly for all ages until 9pm, which turns into adult swim time. Any time I am downtown I always make time for Reboot.
Good beer selection, and the staff is very friendly? can't fault them there at all. But being a barcade, we come here for the games. As far as their pinball is concerned, a lot is left on the table. 3/12 machines were off during my visit, and of the others I played, several had either weak flippers or drastic leans to the machine. Really disappointing for a pinhead. The arcade games were fine however, if that's your speed! Would definitely give a second chance the next time I'm in town, but the first impres
0 where do I start. Good drinks Good games Good bartenders Good prices Good time
My favorite place to go. The drinks are amazing, the classic arcade games are fun, and the staff are amazing. Ive been there so often, they all know my face and when its not super busy they will even take a few moments to chat. On the super busy nights, the place is packed with fun loving people of all backgrounds coming together to drink and play childhood favorites. It's the best gaming bar south of Atlanta.
A great place for the geeky and nerdy to be their selves! They've got tons of arcade, pinball, classic console, and even board games to play with nerdy drinks too! The owners are great people who love talking with their patrons about the detailed inner workings of pinball machines, Harry Potter and more. Plus they have fun events all the time! Truly a great stop in downtown Macon.
Really cool place to have drinks and fun. Bartender is great with the drinks!
I love this place for many reasons. Check the times and rules but you can take the kids here for some family fun! 1 token to play the game! My daughter had never seen a pin ball machine! On the adult side, drinks all day, good happy hour and I love there free movie nights!
Great classic games and craft beer. It gets busy about 11pm on the weekends
I love this place! My friends and I went there and almost spent the whole day here! Enjoyed the old school games, the arcade, they have board games and corn hole as well. The drinks have reasonable prices too! Definitely going back.
Place is dank and musty smells like old gym socks. Floor is sticky. Staff is rude and most games don't work or you can barely see the screen. Lost several tokens in games. I don't think they maintain anything here. Don't recommend wish you could leave less than one star.
I've come here a couple times and I love the energy of this place. The cocktails are really cool and the bar times are nice and charming. I have a small bag of tokens that need to be spent so I will be back.
What a cool place!!! The atmosphere is fun, the bar tender was super nice to talk to and what a joy to play games from my child hood. Also a great selection of pinball machines
One of my must visits in macon. Excellent drinks, attentive bar staff, $0.25 arcade games, and free console games. They check your ID at the door and routinely have events during the week as well as themed nights and cocktails. My wife and I visit Reboot multiple times a month and love it. It's always packed and an just an all around excellent place to have fun. Whether you are 21 or 51 this is the perfect bar to hang out.
Extensive beer menu! The arcade games are relatively cheap at 20 tokens for $5 and some games like Pac-Man are just one token or pinball at 3 tokens.
Reboot was a gret experience tonight! It's located in a very nice looking area. The vintage arcade games were an awesome blast from the past, and tokens are relatively cheap as well. Al the bartender was friendly and helpful. The Rick and Morty themed drink was an interesting one!
So cool. I wish we had one in Covington
Came for the open mic comedy show hosted by @talltreycomedy. Played through a gauntlet of pinball machines before the show and had a few tasty beverages. Great spot to burn an afternoon or evening.
Games and drinks. The perfect combination. Whether you're looking to have fun on arcade classics or want to chill with some newer board games, this is the place for you. Bring the kids during the day or leave them at home in the evening. Either way, it's a good time and a great way to have some fun.
First time here, and I definitely would go back! It's so much fun. Lots of different arcade games, pinball games & they also have a lot of board/card games as well. And alcohol! Perfect nerdy place.
Awesome arcade bar! They have an awesome selection of drinks as well as games.
Nice, but small place. This was 1st Friday so it may have been a larger than average crowd and about a quarter of the back was still under work. They really do stay true to their retro theme from their decorations and art to their games. Overall a solid bar with an interesting theme and amusing drinks.
Awesome spot! Stop burn a few bucks in quarters drink a beer and have a blast. I am an 80s baby but the nostalgia alone makes me want to go once a week. Great stop need to tell everyone you know its worth coming by!!!
If you were born in the video arcade days, you'll love this place. I was instantly struck with nostalgia as soon as I walked into the building. Pac man, Galaga, crazy taxi, pinball machines...and so much more. I went with my girls who are both in their twenties, so I won't date myself, but I felt right at home. Love this place. Will visit again.
I love reboot. Great atmosphere, great beer. Plus I get to play pinball, real old school pinball. If your a real super nerd like me, you can even buy some of the local art right off the wall.
Very cool place with a lively atmosphere. The bartenders are cool and friendly. Like any bar you gotta make sure to kind of get your drink order in because they're busy busy. Lots of fun retro games to play such as galaga, Pacman, donkey Kong, mortal Kombat, etc. Plus, there's a Nintendo 64, GameCube, and a Wii to play. They also have bags and other fun games to play. Overall, a very fun place that I would definitely recommend
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
