We were so lucky to have the absolute best local businesses help bring our day to life. Mike and I have spent so many date nights in Dunedin over the years, and Reboot has a special place in our story?it's where we really found our love almost five years ago. So when it came time to plan our cocktail hour, it just made sense. Reboot Dunedin offers private event space, and Jen was amazing?she helped me create the our delicious mocktail, the Evermore Kiss. As soon as guests arrived, they had quarters for ga

This was a wonderful surprise. The food was not bad but the uniqueness for the place was awesome. You can play Xbox or PlayStation games from the bar and if you bring your own headset you can connect to the sound. There are board games as well if you want to spend more time. Lots of fun.

Reboot Dunedin is an awesome arcade bar with a huge variety of games and a very spacious layout?plenty of room to explore and play. From classic arcade cabinets to modern favorites, there's something for everyone. It can get a bit loud, especially when it's busy, but that's part of the lively, energetic vibe. Great drinks, cool atmosphere, and a perfect spot for a fun night out with friends. If you love gaming and a nostalgic throwback, Reboot is a must-visit!

Fun place! Wide variety of games between multiple rooms. Pinball, dance dance revolution, darts, foosball, hoops, simulated racing, claw machine, and even card games. Games vary from $1-2 each. There's a quarter machine to covert cash. We made $15 last for hours. Nice beers on tap including the popular reef donkey APA. 21+ ONLY after 8pm. Negatives: A few games were out of order and the women's bathroom doesn't have a table or hooks to set your purse or jacket on.

5/5 Stars ? A Total Blast from the Past with a Modern Twist! Reboot is hands-down one of the coolest spots in Dunedin! The second you walk in, you're hit with a wave of nostalgia and excitement?like stepping into the best parts of your childhood, but with craft beer in hand. The arcade selection is top-tier, featuring everything from retro classics like Pac-Man and Galaga to newer multiplayer games that?ll keep you and your friends locked in battle for hours. Every machine is well-maintained, and the vibe

We had an amazing time at Reboot! The place has the perfect blend of nostalgia and modern fun, with a great selection of classic arcade games, lots of pinball machines, and even some newer favorites like I believe Xbox or PS at the bar. The atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming, making it a great spot to hang out with friends. The drink selection was nothing special, bottled and draft beer, but the service is very friendly. Whether you're a local or just a visiter here this place is a great place to

We had a wonderful time at Reboot today. We had a large group of adults and 13 yr olds. The staff and patrons were very friendly. They have console controllers you can rent, we had PS4 and switch2, big hit for the adults. There is a great variety of pinball machines and other games. They even have a wall shelf full of board and card games that our teens enjoyed after spending all of their credits. Highly recommend. We will be back

Great place for a fun evening to unwind. Friendly associates and clean environment. Music and atmosphere is just right.

It's okay. Loud place. Went there for pinball. They use quarters for their games, and it's a dollar a play, which I guess is okay, but at a dollar, I would expect the machines to function well. They function okay. If you're looking for a place to drink and maybe play a few arcade games. I wouldn't go if you just looking to play pinball or arcade games.

Amazing place with great staff great beer selection and tons of pinball machines that are all very well kept. Outside area is very nice too with a large oak tree that provides shade during the day for just hanging enjoying the weather in between intense matches. They also have pizza now which is awesome only downfall is they don't have Arby?s Roast Beef.

Just the facts. I called Reboot on Friday, April 4, 2025 to ask how the gaming worked. Machines take quarters and cost $1.00 per play. I told the person who answered the phone that I was celebrating my birthday and I wanted to play pinball and drink a few beers. I arrived around 5:00 PM and was told then that they had a private party starting at 6:00 PM. Apparently it was scheduled without the manager knowing. I was meeting friends and we made the best of the situation. We were playing pinball and at 5:50 P

Sorry to say I'm disappointed by this place. I've been before and always raved about it but we came and found out about the new card system. The guy at the bar said games run ?about a buck each? when in fact they're nearly $2.50. The machine to purchase tickets wasn't working at first. Had to get help with that. The bowling game got stuck, they reset, stuck again, lost our credit. Just felt like an inconvenience trying to play games in a busy Bar. Respectfully in response to the business? post, I purchased

2025 update: they've opened up the back room, added some more arcade games and have stayed up to date with the latest pinball, so still a great place for fun and beer. If you like pinball, arcade games, and beer you can't go wrong! June update: They've gone to a card system. Games still cost the same though. More convenient I suppose?

This was the first time going to an arcade as an adult. Of games and selections. All relatively priced! There's also a bar on site and they happen to have trivia the night that we were there. It was an all-around good time and will definitely be back

A hidden Gem ?? this bar arcade has pinball machines like Godzilla to the Walking dead shooting Arcade game. They have a full wrap around bar with console games connected to many TVs above the bar. Workers are friendly and helpful. These games range from .50 to 1.00 per play. For Console games must ask bartender or waitress for a controller.

Good range of pinball options that are pretty tight so reasonably maintained, and good tap list. The pizza adjacent is good too, makes for a great afternoon stop or kid-friendly destination while it's still early.

I've always enjoyed playing nostalgic games and meeting new people at Reboot. Great service, fun games and welcoming atomosphere. Great local treasure in beautiful downtown Dunedin Florida. I highly suggest checking it out.

I have been wanting to come here for years. I had a great time with my daughter playing pinball and other games. The drinks were delicious and staff super friendly!

Went here with some friends for a late-night hang out. They really have something for everyone! We played some arcade games (I like racing the best) and Taxi cab simulator was so much fun! There are tons of different pinball machines to try as well. Drinks were good and servers were very attentive. Will definitely be coming back! I wish I would have taken more pictures but I honestly had so much fun drinking I forgot about reviewing!! Also, many friendly people hang out here and I felt super comphy having c

Great hidden gem! Bar atmosphere, but perfect for bringing the kids, dogs, etc. Johnny, the bartender is super good, and I enjoyed a glass of cab while the teens rocked a game of black ops 3. I'm about to hit the centipede machine in the 80s gameroom while listening to INXS. D&D too! Behind the Pizza place... plenty of parking in the back.

Fun, relaxed atmosphere. A great place to have a drink a play some video games (no gambling), or to just have a drink and chill. I stopped at midnight on a random December Sunday, and there's at least 12-15 people here, having a great time. Friendly staff as well. Check it out!

Great little bar in Dunedin with a retro gaming theme. Good options to play some pinball, NES, and other games. They even have an alcove where you can play table top games. The decor is nostalgic and fun. I went in on a Saturday night with friends and it wasn't super crowded. Service at the bar was quick and friendly. They don't have food (other than a couple vending machines with snacks) but they are right next door to a pizza place - Jack Pollino's - if you want some proper food.

This place is AMAZING. Bartenders Julie and Courtland both super sweet, helpful, and cool. They have a great selection of games and drinks. Personally, loved the Minecraft Dungeons arcade cabinet. They have a few consoles you can rent the controllers for and sit and play. Altogether a really unique and cool place, highly recommend!

Great place to hangout and have drinks. Good variety. Bartenders are friendly and help. Great people and atmosphere. Plenty of options for entertainment. Arcade games and console games galore. Must stop in for any level of game enthusiast.

This place is awesome! Bring kids before 8 p.m. but honestly the games are more for for adults

Unfortunately, the service at this bar was disappointing. The bartender had a terrible attitude?she seemed miserable and uninterested in serving customers. A little friendliness goes a long way, but that was completely missing here. Definitely not the kind of experience you'd expect when going out for a good time

Stopped by with 2 grandkids. Even though the grands enjoyed the games, this place is really a bar, for older ?kids.? And it was loud too. Probably a good place for drinks and laughs without younger kids.

Child birthday party mixed with drunk adults is not a good mixture. Music had to be continually turned up to cover the noise of the adults making environment hard to hear the people you were with. My suggestion would be to move the games to back of the arcade/bar to be able to enjoy.

This is absolutely my new favorite place and I can't stop telling people about it. The decor is very nice, with the lights and the way the bar is set up. All the drinks were well priced, and all of the choices, both on tap and in cans and bottles, were fantastic and plentiful. The games were a lot of fun to play. Will be back within a week. Wasn't too busy on Saturday night, I hope they have enough business to stay going for a long time!

Reboot is one of the best places I ever have! Jack is one of the best guys I ever have and I love how he serves beer for me! Thankful for this place!

Sydney, Jonny, Jeff, and literally everyone is the best ever! Always super friendly and welcoming! Been coming here for years and will keep coming back!

Super chill bar, everyone in there does their own thing, drinks are priced very fairly, and so many game options! You can even kick back and rent a console for a few dollars while enjoying a drink :)

The bartender took my real ID and i guess bc i look young she felt obligated to question it and become a detective her ego got the best of her. But she didn't take it and they should have scanner so shit like that dont happen. Jack Pallinos next door is better.

This place gives me all the nostalgic feels. They don't serve hard liquor/alcohol but they have an unique selection of other drinks like beer, mead, and sake. Great time everytime I go.

Update to last review: We visited the Arcade again with friends joining us in Florida. They were all excited about the atmosphere and had lots of fun. There are some new Arcades around Tampa but none has this special atmosphere. Reboot is a must for everybody who loves Arcades and gaming! Having been in many Arcades I have never seen an arcade with such a nice, clean interior and amazing decoration. Everybody working there is amazing giving the place a very special atmosphere. Great selection of beer and d

Love the place. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Seriously the place is super cool. People were just having their drinks while playing on the bar, tables and even the VR area. Very nice place completely love it.

I recently visited Reboot Arcade with my wife and some out-of-town friends, and we had an amazing time! The arcade games were a blast to play, and we loved the selection of classic and retro games that were available. The atmosphere of the place was really cool and the vibe was great, which made for a fun and relaxed evening. We also enjoyed having some drinks while we played, which added to the overall experience. The attention to detail in the retro games and themes was spot on, and it made us feel like w

Great chill place. Plenty of games! There are also free play retro games. Beer was tasty! Would recommend to anyone who just wants to hang and have a few beers ?? love all the artwork they have on the walls!

First off Johnny is the bartender of the century Secondly this place is fun - consoles over the bar for modern gaming, pinball galore, retro and current games in healthy mix Pro tip- keep some singles as some games are quarters and some want those crispy bills Great mix of beers on tap, amazing arcade vibes, fun for the family and fun for the adults!

Great concept, really well set up. This place is a blast! Something fun for everyone no matter how much you play games. Extra fun after a few drinks! (And it's 21+)

Great bar with lots of options for craft beer as well as nostalgia galore! The games are fun, some need some maintenance but otherwise, a great venue to enjoy a night out with friend or an opportunity to share your passion for video games with new friends!

I love the games they have there the best one was definitely the Star Wars one. all the beers there are local.

It is a hidden gem in Dunedin, you can play a ton of games for $20 and it'll last you forever. Retro but has modern touches which photographs beautifully. They don't serve any liquor here but they have a lot of good ciders and beers. It's inexpensive for the value of what you get here. They even have free board games you can play. It's definitely a chill relaxed vibe. It's worth checking out especially if you're visiting the area.

The atmosphere here is fantastic. I'm not sure if they sell food, but they let us order delivery here while my friends and I played Smash and had a great time together. They've got the big 3 (Xbox, Switch, and PS4) as well as retro machines and a coin dispenser for the arcade machines. I recommend trying the elderberry cider, too.

Great beer choices and seltzers! Fun games and great atmosphere. They allow you to bring in food since they don't serve food which is awesome! They do have vending machines with candy. Bartenders are amazing and always on it with refills. Love this place for after work!!

Awesome bar to drink and play games.... you Have to check out the VR room... they don't serve food, but allow outside food... good times for all

I do like arcades so of course a bar inside is always a good idea! They have a room for table top games, pinball, some cool Memorabilia and some consoles to play, plus the good ole arcade games right off the main street of Dunedin.

Very fun barcade. Staff are always pleasant and friendly, there are clearly a lot of regulars, and there seems to always be events going on.

Great location & vibe. They just added a new halo game with the actual hand held guns

Reboot delivered two video games and a pinball machine to our house! We had THE BEST PARTY EVER! The staff was awesome to work with and the games were fun for friends and family of all ages! We had so many laughs and made tons of memories! We will be talking about this party for a long time! I highly recommend Reboot in Dunedin AND renting games for your next party!

I will always check out a barcade, no matter where I go. This place was... interesting. Definitely a younger more eclectic crowd than me and my friends but a decent game selection, as well as tap beer. I enjoyed the game related decor. Cool spot.

This arcade is a hidden treasure! It's a neat little place to get your gaming on with some friends, with virtual reality gaming, board and card games, plus a bar serving up some of best local brews. I will come back!

Really cool atmosphere. There are retro arcade games and pinball machines as well as console games. There is an ATM and a change machine to get quarters for the arcade. There is an area for boardgames and card games. They also have a great selection of beer at the bar where you can also sit and play video games.

Love this bar always open late just beer and wine but great options Johnny Jack Sydney Jeff and Linda all great bartenders... 10 stars and now they have food

Nice spot! I do like Parcade in Tampa a little more because they lean more towards manual arcade games (pin ball, old video arcade, etc) more. Not that they don't have that...they have 3 pin ball machines and 2 old arcade machines. It seems like they are little more geared towards console games (but they do have NES, Sega, etc spots). Good beer selection as well! I haven't tried it but they do have VR for $5 for 15 mins.

Staff was super rude and condescending (2 different bartenders). Which is really unfortunate because I wanted to love this place. I worked at an arcade bar in my hometown about 10 years ago and love the concept. It's wild though, I was with a group for a friend's birthday, and I was treated with such disrespect in comparison to the birthday girl herself, and others in my group (I actually texted others to assess their experience with the staff). I have a feeling I was misjudged based on my appearance and th

My kind of place. Arcade and pinball and almost every game was working. Love love love this place.

Cool bar. Staff was friendly. A little different than what I expected, but I would probably come back. A lot for the console games I already have at home . Maybe better for people who don't have consoles.

Only beers/seltzers here, on tap and in cans. Tons of fun games, good music. Nice bartender.

Jonny is a great bartender who is able to recommend the perfect drink depending on your tastes. With local beers, ales, meads, and wines, there was something for everyone in our group. Reboot has expanded with more games and more pinball! A nice, chill place for all walks of life!

Love coming to play pinball and have a few beers. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Definitely a fun time.

Wow. Fun! good beer. pinball. I lost track of time drinking and playing. Staff was great! Free play pinball before 8 with drinks.

Great atmosphere and great collection of games, especially pinball! Johnny is awesome as always. The place is great, but he's the reason we keep coming back. Always friendly and has an amazing attitude. Highly recommend!

Too crowded, bartenders are absolutely horrible, disgusting attitudes. Atrocious hospitality. Response to owner: what are you talking about?? I wasn't asked to leave.

If you love drinks and gaming then this place is perfect!! I try to go every 2 weeks or a month to chill, play some smash bros with friends and have a good drink and always have a good time! Friendly environment and friendly staff.

So much fun! I love the concept of bars having fun activities. I feel like an adult kid having a total blast. They have all the games, pinball, n64, Xbox, PlayStation, wii....and many more!

Edit: Had husbands 40th birthday party here and all of the staff especially les were amazing. They let me bring in food, and I ordered from their sister pizza place Infinity pizza which was AMAZING!!!! Definitely be back soon Great atmosphere! Fun games and great drinks

Awesome place, they pretty much have console gaming covered. I drank 2 beers and played 4 Xbox one games, I also played duck hunt and they have arcades, pinball machines, and alot of retro consoles. Will be going back.

What a great place to hang and have a good time. So many pinball and classic arcade games. All the console games you played growing up, but now you can drink a beer while playing. Change ones for quarters like it should be.

Johnny is the best! Thanks for always welcoming us with a smile and great and attentive service.

Went for daughters birthday with family/friends. Had a great time. Videos, pinball, fun friendly atmosphere.

This is one of the first bars I started coming to coming from Chicago and everyone was super friendly. Fred mainly after the second time I came in usually on Sundays remembered what I drank, which isn't very hard just the blue stuff for the avatar water as I call it, but other than that everyone I met here is pretty awesome. It's the most neighborhood bar I've ever been around since being in my neighborhood in Chicago and it makes me feel like home. I literally one night somehow forgot my shoes and my sung

HUGE CON: I came here on a date last week, it's definitely perfect for dates. I wouldn't come here alone late at night though. I dunno if it was just that day but the dudes here are SUPER obnoxious. There were a group of drunk guys outside of my restroom door banging on it as if they were kicking or punching the door. They were yelling at me to come out even though I've only been in there for about 3 minutes. None of the workers came to stop them or tell them to back up. I have social anxiety so I had to te

Came on Tuesday. The bartender was fantastic. They have an atm and change machine. Everything works with quarters or has an hourly rate. Love this place already.

We were there around noon on a Saturday, the change machine was broken and we had to wait about 10 minutes for the bartender to give us change, we lost $1.00 in one of the machines and when we told the employee that the game was just eating quarters he went over to fix it and didn't give us our money back but instead gave all the credits to a different person. My son was pretty disappointed none of the games were working and we were disappointed with the service. I know things happen but this seems unaccept

This place is like no other you've ever been. Great new and retro games. Best pinball around and a great selection of good beers. The decor is unreal and takes you back to the old school feel. Definitely try it.

Great atmosphere, fantastic staff and superb beer selection! This is absolutely a must visit place if you enjoy a good brew and an excellent assortment of games.

I've visited a few times and this visit they had Trivia. It was great fun with many teams.

I visit Dunedin once per year to see my family. I look forward to going to Reboot to see what's new. I travel from California. This visit my ID was taken and assumed fake (I am 27). Very unprofessional staff. I was with my parents that are clearly much older than me and none of us even drink alcohol. Hopefully the owner of this barcade can afford to better train and treat their customers. Edit: Did you even read my review? The reply has nothing to do with my experience. I understand and respect checking my

Awesome bar. Video games, arcade games, and good beer. Good people. The owner is a great dude

Cool place to hang. Bunch of arcade machines and consoles... Which you can play at the bar. Owner is rad and the other employees I've met. If you ever want to get spanked at bubble hockey lemme know ??

Love this place! Perfect spot to come with friends or on a date night & Linda is the best. She always makes me try a beer I never had before. Good music, good vibes!

Awesome place!! I love these Barcades where even if you don't play games it's still fun to go. Bartenders were super friendly, knew your name and remembered after just one order. I joined a fun little flip frenzy tournament and I'd say most of their machines played really well. Great prices and various daily offers on beers/drinks etc. Open late everyday. What's not to like?!

This place is great. Service is friendly, arcades are cool and they have old school stuff n alot of pinball machines also. You can play like Mario kart while sitting at the bar etc. Really good time!

Really cool arcade and bar. Tons of old school arcade games and consoles to play. But I went for the pinball!

This is the coolest bar for those of us from Gen X that grew up with arcades and the beginnings of gaming. It has everything from board games to a VR game room. It's honestly the best place to relive your childhood, but with booze!

This place is awesome my husband and I found it one day 2 weeks ago and we have been 3 times already the bartender johnny is super nice too! We ride our bikes from Clearwater on the trail!

My favorite spot in Dunedin! The pinball machines, arcades, gaming systems are all well maintained and top notch. The craft beer selection is extraordinary and the service is always good. What a great business concept, wish I would have thought of it first. Keep it up Reboot.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
