When you first walk up the building you will be greeted with some classic games and a wonderful atmosphere just at the beginning of the door as you walk in your greeted with gorgeous lights hundreds of bottles of different liquor you may enjoy, And the smiles of so many beautiful staff members . Now I may not be a drinker myself, but coming in I was already welcome. I wasn't judged for the fact that I do not drink. I was asked if I would like a water or anything which I gladly accepted. When walking arou
Walking into Ready Player One is like entering a time capsule from your favorite decade. First, the decor? they didn't miss an opportunity. No corners were cut to ensure you are adequately time-warped. The bar is amazing! I want to commission one for my pool! Now for the games? I was skeptical about wanting to mix gaming into my nights out, but this bar gives you choices. You can dance, sip at the bar, or indulge your competitive side in the arcade area. What's even more impressive, they have a courtyard ou
If you're looking for a nostalgia trip inside a bar, check out Ready Player One! This place is a neon-lit dream for anyone who grew up loving the '80s and '90s?or just wishes they had! The vibe is pure retro magic: old TV commercials on the screens at the bar, neon lights, your favorite old school games (plus some slots as well) and 80s inspired cocktails. It's the kind of spot where you can sip a craft cocktail like a cool kid with one hand and crush high scores with the other. The music takes me back to
The bartender with the long hair was too busy talking to her friend at the bar to pay attention to the customers. Seemed like she had an attitude whenever we asked her for anything or was outright ignoring us. The other bartenders were great. You need a wider variety of drinks on your menu. If I come back it'll be just to play games. I'd rather go a few locations down the street for drinks
The aesthetic is nostalgic for any 80s baby. Very cute setup. The place is obviously very well-cared for because it was clean and there was so much attention to detail. The drinks were great. I didn't try the food but we will be back soon.
Look, it's nice to have a tap room downtown. My issues are that the selection is okay and the price is high especially when I have to bring in my own food. It makes it complicated to get together with friends. I'm sure there is something they can do to make it easier to order food. Then the whole tipping situation. It's odd. I'd rather do the arsenal tap room where I can order food and have a full service bar. This would be my second or third choice of places to go. There needs to be more of a draw h
I had a lot of fun, got to play games with friends while having some drinks. But if I could change 1 thing, THE MUSIC IS TOOO LOUD!!! The whole point of going to a bar and not the club is to be able to have a conversation without screaming all night. Just turn it down a little guys. We wanted to order more drinks but wasn't worth the shouting. You lost a second star because Extreme Rush and Time Crisis kept eating our quarters, saw it happen to everyone who used those machines. Time Crisis is my favorite a
This was me and my bestie's first time going here during First Friday. It was mostly beer on tab that you serve yourself and you pay for the weight in your glass. They give you a wristband that you tap on whatever fountain you are getting your beer from and it keeps track. They even had one for kombucha which I drink daily..lol a few for wine. You just pay when you're done and ready to go. The live entertainment was very entertaining and I enjoyed listening.
DJ Cali was playing great music! The service was top notch! The atmosphere is so fun! Y'all have to come visit RP1 for a great time!
Very fun here with a DJ. One of the best spots in Augusta. Could use some more games. Good drink selection.
Great place to try a bunch of new beers! I wish more places in Augusta were like this. The service was good and the beer selection was solid. They also have games you can play while hanging anything from uno to a small shuffle board. Oh they also have golden tee which is awesome! Will definitely be going back.
The food truck out back was great (hanks patty wagon). You need to go through the shop to get to it . It's a hidden gem .
Love love this place it's a Laid back mixed crowd but every one acted civilized it's games to play an the drinks good to
Ultra convenient location downtown with wide selection of beer and games. My friends and I always enjoy having a few brews on Friday and shooting some pool. Employees are always professional and polite.
Great tap room, 30+ beers on tap, awesome staff, and wait for it... dog friendly! 20% off on pups and pints day! Highly recommended!!! ??????
Felt like the bartender was kinda rude kept saying "just look at the screen" when I tried to find out more information about prices and stuff. The screen doesn't show prices.
It is the spot to chill... Will never get bored of this place. Enjoyed the vibes, friendly staff and variety of games to keep you entertained while trying new beers
How did I spend $24?! I visited during the Arts in the Heart festival. They have a nice selection of beers that you can sample yourself. You scan your wristband for whatever you want to sample and each beer has a different price per weight. So it's calculating all of your samples. Most of my samples were 0.7 oz. They were truly small amounts. Then I chose the beer I wanted and got ONE glass. My total was $24!!!!! I really didn't like that. If you think about it, most places with a big selection of beer will
Dig this place. nice staff good beers on tap and good environment just to hang out. Highly recommend for a good time!
We loved it! Prices were great, friendly atmosphere, they had live music, and we even got to enjoy some good bbq from another local small business.
Great spot, big beer selection and a good vibe. Free board games and shuffleboard, they have some arcade golf too. Live music as well. Enjoyed my time here as a visitor to the city.
Always a good time at Draft Society! Pour your own taps with a wide selection and fun games to play. Dogs are welcome and we find it to be family friendly in the afternoons/early evenings. Such a wonderful space with a great staff and clean bathrooms. One of our favorite spaces in Augusta - whether we are starting an evening out, finishing an afternoon shopping on Broad, or after a night out on the town, Draft Society is the perfect spot!
Surprised this place isn't the talk of the town yet, as this Taproom has great potential for expanding visitors to Broad str. With an amazing selection of beers, wines, and other drafts I was able to sample so many drinks I previously never been interested in prior. I love the game setup and friendly worker there having open conversations
Nice place to relax and sample a wide variety of beers and a few wines. The drinks are priced by the ounce so you can sample as much or as little as you want because you pour your own.
Went tonight for the first time ever. Really enjoyed some brews among good company. The variety of brews was good, but not great. Would love to see some more local beers to the Augusta/Columbia area. The brews are also pretty expensive, typically ranging from $.55-$.65 per oz. ($8-$10 for 16 oz). Would love to see the prices drop or have different brew/nightly deals. Likely won't be back unless there is a cheaper alternative than just going to another local pub and getting my favorites for $5.
Friendly staff and interesting concept. The live music was very nice. Mixed crowd was also nice. Draw back was that no food is served. Although no food is served you are allow to bring in food. Bathroom was clean. They do not accept cash payment. Credit card payment only.
Cheyenne and Ryan were gems! Great staff and friendly environment, nice selection of drinks to try and they were very welcoming. We'll be sure to come back for another visit!
Definitely one of the best if not THE best bar downtown Augusta. They are dog friendly, and usually always have a cool event/show on the weekend. Once a month, they do soldier Saturday and you do not want to miss Hippy Mann. ??Oh and Dirty Lux is awesome too.
First time there, but very clearly going to be one of my favorite hangouts in the Augusta area. This is the first time I've seen their unique way of serving: you are given a wrist band that you tap to a certain spot on the wall of beers which enables you to pour your choice of beer. You pay per ounce and the total ounces are stored for once you cash out at the end of the night. The choices of brews are astounding. They are organized from light to dark and even include meads, seltzers, and non alcoholic beve
First off, they have a shuffleboard table! It's a little low to the ground but it's nice. I like the self serve business model and was bracing to see how much my tab would be, but surprisingly it didn't add up as much as I thought it might. I appreciate the non-beer options. Lastly, you can bring your dog, which cements their awesomeness.
If all you want to do is drink and socialize for a while... great place. About what you would expect for downtown drinking. You don't have to fill the glass every time either. Just put a sip in it, try it, rinse it, try another until you find the one. Then you fill the glass. Remember, you pay by the ounce at the end and you don't want to be paying for ounces you didn't drink.
People were really nice and very polite. Welcomed me inside and that's when I realized it was beer. Too bad I don't drink..However if you do and enjoy the frozen yogurt of beer, this is the place for you. Get a wristband and serve yourself tap. Cool stuff.
I actually love the concept of Draft Society and dig the vibe and staff. However, I learned that staff does not receive tips that are left by customers and they are instead donated to an undisclosed organization. Do better or at the very least tell your paying customers where their tips are going!!
I'm not generally the type person who goes to these draft houses. I am glad we went to this one. The staff was friendly and all the different taps and technology mixed together was a great visit! Definitely recommend stopping in and enjoy their Draft Taproom!
Loved the selections here. Something for everyone. The staff was great! Also, loved being able to DJ the whole time we were there. Definitely download the TouchTunes app and play away! Especially loved seeing fellow pations and staff sing along to song we were playing. Awesome experience!
Chill environment with great promos and events every day of the week ! Change taps so often its a new experience every time I visit , and a price-friendly way to get a good buzz - easily my favorite downtown destination
Easy to operate self service taproom. Excellent selection. Kombucha, wine and cider in addition to beer. Friendly staff. They have event and discount nights as well.
Really cool place with good beer and games. The employees were all so nice. Also, dogs are welcome! We'll definitely be back.
We enjoyed our time there. Fun and lively place with a large selection of mead. The staff and owners were very friendly. When we are in town again we will definitely stop in.
Very comfy feel to the place, wish they had a few more soda choices or ice tea but enjoyed! Maybe next event you advertise with a bigger signage!
13 dollars 3 glasses of root beer as a substitute tried a couple sips of the drafts I was driving so didn't hit hard if I wasn't I would do more.
Easily one of my new favorite spots in Augusta!
Great place to hangout with friends, grab some beers, and play some games. They allow dogs inside too!
Nice place! Great tap beer
We loooooved this place. It's so nice because you pay by the ounce and you don't have to spend a ton on a drink that you will potentially not like.
Awesome place to relax, staff is amazing, they walk you through everything if it's your first time. They have games and music.
Very nice, relaxed atmosphere, and tons of different beers to choose from
A good place to go study while you have a beer.
Friendly even though we stayed a little past closing time. Great selection. Friendly service.
Such a cool place. Very relaxed. Great beer and a great concept
Awesome low key spot good atmosphere and staff. The beer speaks for its self
Fun and welcoming feel ! Will definitely revisit next time I'm in Georgia.
Great beer and enough room to comfortably accommodate the amount of people visiting
Got here just in time for the drag show. Great time. Fun folks!
Amazing place. Great selection and fun experience! Cheers!
Great place to hang out. Interesting vibe. Love the wall of beer.
Different types of tap beer and wine you pour yourself, nice atmospher.
Great atmosphere. Easy system to use and decent prices.
Awesome, just would be better with some bar food
Fun vibe, games, excellent music, tons of draft options!
Great options and a very cool location. Everyone needs to check them out!!
Tons of beer options and dog friendly ????
Enjoyed some new and unique IPAs.
Very chill place, great addition to downtown.
Cool place to go for beer and games
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
