RAD Retrocade East

We went a couple of months ago and didn't want to leave feedback because I wanted to cool off and think about the review to be fair. This is a sports bar with food, new and classic video games to include lots of new pinball machines. Classic 80's games are barely working. Food was good, service was great. Noise during 5pm was manageable. But by 7pm the music was so loud we could not yell loud enough to place an order with the bartender.. Yesterday we went to celebrate my daughter after her graduation ceremony. I wanted to shout out Savannah for working her butt off and taking care of our big party. She was amazing. I hope we weren't too much of a bother lol but she handled everything very well. Thank you for the good service and making the special day for us wonderful! <3

First time coming to this location and all I can say is was not impressed. For an arcade bar there's no reason why most of the games to me messed up, you go to drink and have a good time and play games. Also bartenders and another guys wasn't sure what he was but they were taking shots behind the bar. The drinks were also not good. Who ever the owners are I would definitely stop by this location and check them out. There's no reason there should be this many issues.

Great place. A lot of games ate my coins without letting me play? but they gave us coins to replace, so that was cool. Service was okay? it was kind of hard to get ahold of someone (the bartender) for anything though (there were only a total of 6 people the entire time) even though it wasn't busy at all.

Fun & entertaining! This place is HUGE compared to the Mesa St. location. The games are very entertaining, have games from all era?s and plenty of tables to socialize at or dine. The game prices are pretty good. There was kids during the day that seemed to have had a blast as much as their parents did. Definitely a hidden gem!! ?????? by

Food was tasty, chicken tenders were great, fries were crispy! Deals on drinks were great and the arcade games were a lot of fun! Will go back??

Fun games, sometimes the air hockey is down but its awesome. Whenever you go enjoy every room of games. The outdoor patio is fun to end the night.

Great place to hang out play some arcade games and have a few drinks. They also did karaoke night thursdays. Which was cool lots of people coming up to sing. The arcade itself was a little small but had some great old school games to play. They have a few new pinball machines which was fun to play. DDR machine was decent the right side pads are best. Incredible place to take friends and family. Even a date time place. Awesome atmosphere and you have opportunity to make it more fun with the music and games.

Came here for my twin sisters' birthdays last year and had an absolute blast!!!... Today however, not so much. The food was way better last year than I'd expect from a bar (the Garbage Pail Nachos with brisket, which were literally served out of a Garbage Pail Kids pail; The pizzas were mediocre, and the wings were the only thing worth eating (Tried both Lemon Pepper & bbq) The bad things were waiting for the good music to start the disgusting music videos that were being played... Very clean, well-staffed, well organized, good atmosphere, great food for the price (the portion, I mean), a mean whiskey sour, and a bloody Mary that's not too acidic.

Great service very attentive and welcoming

To honestly tell you the truth the pizza was actually pretty good... I would've given a 4 or 5 ??'s but service was lacking... had to wait over 10 min just to get a beer... but all in all it's a nice place to go for a quick bite and drink... caution there are children... I saw a kid munch it... can't get any better than that... besides seeing stupid drunk people fight... ??

The rolled tacos were pretty good. I would say not perfect but pretty good. I had the chicken green ones. Not bad but there used to be a place called follows that had way better rolled tacos. Is the Arvada over priced? You bet it is. Lol. So don't compare to being home and playing on your console or playing candy crush on your phone.

The service was spectacular. The staff here were very pleasant and attentive. The food is exactly what you expect from an arcade bar, nothing fancy, but very consistent. The atmosphere was cool, but the music was definitely loud for how few people were there when we arrived.

Loved it. Great family place too take the kids. Lots of arcade games 2 keep them entertained spacious inside with an open patio area fenced in too protect the little ones. Pleasant staff very attentive with great service.

My fiance has been dying to go here I took him for his birthday and we had a blast such a great experience

This place has got to be one of the dirtiest bars in El Paso. Restrooms look like they haven't been cleaned in weeks with dried phlegm or throw up stuck to the edge of the sinks. Urinals are full of stains and smell horrible. Floors are dark with the grime of everyone?s liquids mixing up with the dirt, inside and outside the restrooms. Rusted beer bottles being served up in buckets. The owner really needs to keep up with this bar cause my gosh was it nasty. I can just imagine how their kitchen is. Piss poor

We came to celebrate my sister's B day. Had a great time. The band was awesome. It was the band The Tip that was playing. Definitely come back.

The only reason the food is 1 star is because I didn't have any. The employees are friendly, respectful, and funny to talk with. I thoroughly appreciated the nostalgic vibes before entering. The games were exceptionally enjoyable. The backyard is spacious and entertaining. A must go to arcade if you haven't gone!

Someone recommended me to order the chicken nachos and that shit was ice cold, ?? like a can of sprite they ended up sending it back. We got the 2nd one and it was not even room temperature. I didn't have the heart or the patience to tell the bartender, the service was good. But I also tried to play donkey Kong, space invaders, pac man and Mrs. PAC man and they were all broken. So I just lost coins for no reason. Has anyone ordered food here and was satisfied? Or did I just go on a bad day?

Fun games good food amazing tunes all at a great price

This place is always popping and is so much fun! Sometime the pinballs are broken when we go but other times they all work. Honestly one of the funnest places to go in El Paso!

Good customer service I get how busy they get and the shitty customers that get impatient and mad but it's genuinely good service and the food is best at around noon

Menu is incorrect online and charging more. In addition their math on the receipt doesn't make sense. Online it says their tacos are 1.25 but they charge $2 dollars. False advertisement

Of all the bar arcades have been to here, this seems to be the best one. I'm still exploring the food, but the location is large enough to accommodate many many many events. Having been born in the arcade boom, I don't see a lot of use of the actual arcade games themselves, mostly just pinball, but I can see why somebody would like that kind of thing. So far the food I've had has been hit or miss, mostly based on the chef's preferences, and less quality.

Went for the first time to try out this location. Had the pleasure of having Tori being our bartender. She was very attentive of us and even recommended amazing shots for us to take. Checked in on us when she noticed our beers were running low. Definitely will go again to visit her. Made the experience 100 times better.

I like the arcade, but the food is terriblely bad. Everything taste bad, pizza is soggy sause to sweet. Cheese sticks are tiny and burnt, they don't spread the cheese evenly on nachos just toss everything in the middle cheese sause isn't good either.

Coming here gives me flash backs of Aladdin's castle back in the day I can play any video game I want I love food is great cleaning up crew is wrecking shop it's always fresh in there with all kinda stuff to do food bangin dance floor swangin and the ladies oooh weee definitely glad to have y'all in the neighborhood thanks for the great service buds nothing like a cold one after a long ride turn up and stay blessed always #ganggang

Extremely upset ?? 01/27/2024 Our bartender was intoxicated! I didn't get her name (white girlie with long light brown hair and colored eyes) was more interested in flirting and throwing herself to our male friends including my husband! I don't know her normal behavior but to be forgetting our drink orders consistently was the worst. When they were brought they tasted horrible! ?? Friday night. Was very slow and calmed. Food was served fast, hot and delicious. We ordered Nachos and a pizza. The Nachos were very big and with lots of flavor. Drinks were coming out fast..

This was a really good place to go to. It was pretty full for a Tuesday and that within itself is awesome. You can play against others in a competition for beer pong!?? The games themselves were really fun, including the old school feel with the more classic games. 10/10 would recommend. The manager there made it a very great night for us, including all the employees there.. Cheers ??

Went there for cousin's night out and we had so much fun! We enjoyed the games, the music, the food, and just overall vibes. The pizza was delicious! We had great service from our bartender Fernanda, who would check in and made us delicious shots! This is a great place to spend with friends and family and have a fun time!

Looking for pinball machines in El Paso and found this barcade. We don't drink, but the bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. $0.75 wing night special. They were tasty. Some of the machines needed service, but almost all of them were running. Great outdoor space. Amazing artwork and murals. Fun vibes all around, and didn't hurt that we won trivia!

Fernanda was great it was super busy and she handled not only me but everyone else with the best service! I was celebrating my birthday and she made it a great experience I will definitely come back. As a manager good people are hard to find she is perfect for this spot. Best bartender ever

It's a lot of fun. Bit $ but good fun. The atmosphere is wonderful. Those quesadillas are on point & I'll go back just to eat them. Wings tasty, too. Pizza has good flavor, but like no real crust to it. We went when it wasn't crowded...idk what kind of experience difference that makes but I definitely recommend.

Been here probably around 8 times already and to date our experiences have been nothing short of excellent here! Staff,very professional and very positive with a side of very welcoming. The manager, she's always on point and very helpful to her staff! The owner, one of the kindest, most friendliest bar/grill owners in the city! Great for family and or individuals!! Highly recommend!!

I do not recommend the food. The food is not good! It's not worth what you get. I ordered wings and the nachos, and you can tell right away they serve cheap stuff. They take long to serve your food, too. The music and atmosphere are really nice. I was expecting retro arcade games, but it's more pinball games that they have. If you don't open a tab, the servers/ wait staff will not wait on you, they'll just pass by and won't offer more drinks. I would definitely go back just for the music. Eat somewhere else

Cool place, but terrible Service. Went last night, mind you was not that busy. Order A pizza and fries. Took over an hour to get our food. No Manger nor server came to explain anything as to why it was taking so long. Then the server began to catch an attitude because we were upset about the food taking long. No discount no apology. Service can be a little slow, they need to work on that drinks are good, seems like when they get busy, mixed drinks aren't always on point. DJ can be a bit too loud if you are near that area. Great atmosphere, really good nachos, beer is cold. Overall pretty fun.

First time at Rubiks East and let me tell you, YOU have to go! It's the coolest spot with amazing food- the snack pack was FIRE! There were so many arcade games, old and new! Went with my girlfriends and we loved the lit up dance floor; we danced all night! The bartender Russell gave us an amazing experience and made the best drinks! We also met the manager Geo, he made us feel welcomed and made sure we had a great night! We felt so special. We will definitely be back again!

First time attending and it was amazing. Came during the UFC fight, everyone was nice and attentive. I brought my son and we both had a good time. Rubiks east has great service, great atmosphere, great music (live band and DJ) great games, clean bathrooms, a beautiful patio with quick fast service and lots of arcade games to play. Didn't try the food, but those who ordered said it was delicious! Kids allowed until 9 pm. Great place to have fun with friends and family here on the east side! Will definitely be going again.

Food and drinks are so-so. The service was descent, the atmosphere is cool, but a few games do eat your tokens, but if you let them know they'll give you replacement tokens.

2 weeks ago it was my 1st visit with my son. It was a good experience, today It was my 2nd visit to this place. It took like 20 minutes to bring the food when it was already On the counter ,one of the cooks took the food to us,i ask for another coke and he didnt bother to bring it i went to the bar and ask for the soda,I think you have to screen better your servers ,Devon as a server for me It's a no no.! If you are not drinking alcohol you are not a good client for him,when tab was closed whe ask for a box

My friends and I went there and tbh, it was disappointing. The food was not that great, same thing goes to the service, and the arcade, wasn't very many options for games. The place looked amazing but yeah, probably not gonna be there again.

I had my birthday here and the manager was very Attentive, food and pizza were great. Came today for my second time and they remembered us and treated us the same. Our waitress Sam did a great job, we will be coming back.

I want to congratulate who is ever is behind this concept and all the staff. All the video games and wall decor made me feel like a kid and a teenager again at the same time, but with drinks lol. Growing up in the 80-90s while the video game industry really took off was really awesome for me. The staff is friendly and attentive(Don't loose that). And to top it off, the live band playing 80-90s music just nailed it. Keep up the good work!????

We didn't get greeted or have our drink order taken for about 15 min, and when we finally did, it took another 25 min to get our drinks. Warm beer. The food order came out and was wrong, so I had to send back several items. Waitress never returned to check on our drink needs or food order. She ended up bartending behind the bar instead of attending to her tables.

We loved, loved, and loved this place. We are going to make this our new hangout. Took my fiancee for he's birthday and he just kept telling about all the games he used to play. We didn't stay long but next time we will and service was amazing loved to see employees excited at work. That's what we need not grumpy people

It's okay, but have to wait way too long to get a drink. Sat for half an hour before finally able to flag down a bust boy to go get a waitress. When she finally comes she was rude and in a hurry. I don't blame her, the business should be better staffed to handle the crowd. Which there was not much of a crowd that night, but still. Okay environment except for when there is a DJ. I don't know why DJs think they need to shatter ear drums? people want to be able to talk to the person next to them

Really liked the 80's theme. Had old school games and new too. Drinks were fine and reasonably priced. Specialty drinks were not strong at all. Its better to order your own favorite drink, they are stronger.

Great environment the music was great too, had multiple bartenders check up on me, Sav was great to say the least, went on a busy night but she did check up on me as well as other bartenders the food was delicious the pizza was great and worth it. Overall a great environment I do recommend it, and will definitely return

Had so much fun at Rubix East! They have so many games, it seemed so spacious especially including the outside patio. I like that you can get drinks inside and outside. All the bartenders and staff were so nice ?? DJ was playing the best music on Friday!

We didn't eat, just walked around. Always my favorite place to visit when I go to Cali n chill. But I will tell you, I noticed the water n waves higher than normal never ever seen that in all my years visiting since 1998 n that's when ya'll got hit by the big storm the next week. Not a good bar. If you're looking for the great bar experience to me, it felt more like a glorified Applebee's with video games. Service is slow the bartender should try smiling once in a while alcohol and beer overpriced

Games are great! Beer great! Waiting an hour an half for a pizza not great. Bartender didn't want to give us an number for our order first said ?oh I'll just find out guys outside?. Ok fine so we sit outside (didn't move) 30 min later she found us and gave us a number saying be right out. We have visited Rad a few times. We love the nostalgia. I love pinball. Rad has a large selection of machines. We love introducing our boys to this type of arcade.

Was recommended to me by a good friend of mine so I had to check it out for myself and was definitely worth the trip service was amazing ?? even for a Friday night ! Russell never let us go with a empty drink and the management ( geo & john ) was just as good checking on us and making sure we where having a great time I will be recommending to everyone.

This place was spectacular! Everyone was so super friendly and helpful. However, the curly headed big boned manager mf needs to be dealt with. I've never in my life encountered such an awful, rude and hateful person. Maybe I caught her on a bad day, but maybe she shouldn't work in a public setting if she does not know how to act decent. Belittled and uncomfortable, I will not return.

This location of Rubiks was the worst!. Mesa location is way better! Montana location has the skeeball machines, but they weren't working. A few game machines were out of service, no pool sticks, no service when we found a table and we saw a little kid wondering around with no parent in sight!. First and last time ever coming to this location!. I do not recommend this location!. Visit the Mesa location instead!!!

We ordered some lemon pepper tenders and a pizza. The tenders were over seasoned, but the pizza was do die for. It was delicious ?? The atmosphere is great. We had lots of fun

The outside patio was great, perfect for this time of year! It needs its own bar though. The bartenders were very overwhelmed, it took forever to get a drink and the cocktails weren't as good as at the Mesa location. Many of the games were broken and there weren't many of them. Overall it was okay, but not great.

My friends & I have been to Rubix East a bunch of times now. This has become our new go to. The outside patio is huge. The inside layout is very spacious with a cool dance floor & great music. The food & drinks are good. It's a great place, but the main reason we keep coming back is the excellent service! The servers in general are great! Went Friday night and they had a live band playing that was playing all types of music! Loved the atmosphere, the games, the dance floor, and the food/drinks! Overall very clean and a lot of space unlike those really crowded bars.

The only thing is they have very limited seating if you want to dine in you need to reserve a table or wait for someone yo leave to be able to sit down to eat!! The drinks and food was awesome! The service was great!! Thanks hope this helps the next people that want to go and eat there!!

Enjoy going when the Cowboys play. However the service differs... ??Sometimes it ok other times its awesome... Occasionally its been not so good....?? the food options are all snacks. For hearty eaters the portions are good... Otherwise for example the nachos can feed 2 to 5... Depending on appetites. Thier cheese fries are worth trying as well.

celebrated my birthday at Rubiks and had an amazing time. I was concerned at first about the lack of seating but Gio made sure my party was accommodated and we had an awesome time. Our server, Russell, was very attentive and made sure our orders were filled and correct. Alex in the game room was helpful in making sure we recovered our lost tokens. My family and I will definitely be back.

Love the atmosphere, staff in great, Sport TV's all over is great, Variety of Games are great (lots of memories from classic games) could take less coins on some though, music themes of 80's & 90's are great idea, drink specials or happy hour attract me, food menu choice could be bigger and a bit affordable with happy hour. West Location is better because it's one giant open floor space. The Montana location is just as fun but there are some games that are located in spots where you can't fully play the game. Example is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game. There's no way you can play with 4 players where the game is located. It's too cramped. Drinks were super weak. Tasted like a lot of soda or mixer was added and maybe a tablespoon of liquor. A shots worth is definitely not added to their mixed drinks. The brisket trash

Our first time at the east location and it was great. The server was sweet, she always made sure we were doing ok. And the manager was so accommodating to us. I'll go back and visit again.

This place has games, beer and a giant patio with huge potential. Went with a bestfriend and we had a blast! Employees were excellent at the service time, customer service in general. Will definitely be coming back. 10/10
