I thought this place was pretty neat! The arcade games were not over priced which was a pleasant surprise and the area was relatively clean. I would recommend a different variety of cocktails but that's more of a personal opinion. The bar tenders were kind enough and not too busy to make a small personal connection with you.

Wow, this is a flipping great dive bar. Tons of video games, great vibe, good crowd. Didn't have any cocktails, so can't comment on the quality but the beer selection was good. Overated and over priced. Best of all they claim to be open till 2am yet when I stepped out and tried to re-enter at 1:07am they refused to let me back in; claiming no re-entry after 1am. They do not say this anywhere on their hours online, now I have a bunch of quarters for games I didn't get to use. All around not professiona, you're better off going to international down the road or anywhere else..

This place is suuuuper loud and you have to yell at each other to talk. All the arcade games are old and the music is also very loud... the place is very crowded. Vending machines are available and there's a random photo booth as well.

Came here on 5/16 for a comedy show. The show started very pleasant, had some good laughs the atmosphere was great until a ?man? showed up with a camera to stand in front of multiple guests when there was a whole section dedicated to filming that he refused to film in. Whoever was working on this monday/Tuesday, May 28/29th short haired girl and longish brown haired boy as the ?bouncer? were extremely rude. Rolling their eyes at us for playing the games at 1:40am? And the place closed at 2am?? After 3 minutes the bouncer said ?you need to leave? What do you mean???? They didn't close for another 15 minutes. So rude, full of attitude. Quarters is a fun place to hang out and place some games, pinball, ski-ball... It's a fun time and the staff has always been nice and helpful. Clean and it's nice they have tables by every game so you have places to set your drinks as you're playing.

One of my friends just moved to the US and doesn't have her driver's license yet so she was using her legal resident card as an ID. They refused to let her in saying they don't take IDs from other countries and that they are just following the law. Firstly that is a US government ID and not from another country and the Utah government website says it's a legal form of ID. We have had no issues anywhere else. Just say you're not familiar enough with that form of ID to accept it.

Tried to check out your place on Friday 2-7-2025. My friend was denied entry due to being a legal resident and not a full citizen with the excuse that he had the wrong ID and ICE had been ?breathing your neck.? It was a government issued ID with his birthdate. It was accepted at other establishments. Can you explain this? Reasonably priced, quality drinks - many pinball options - tons of other older games. Skeeball is my favorite and had a blast playing that. Wish there was air hockey! The vibe is chill/positive.

Some of the bartenders here are rude and clearly favor certain people. Otherwise, I love the games here they have a great selection. People here are laid back, and it's a good vibe overall.

It's a fun spot! I've been here a few times, and there is a good amount of options for games. It does get quite hot, so I wouldn't plan to wear a jacket inside. Fun spot for concerts, and they have some really good drinks. It is on the pricier side for drink cost as far a quality and size of drinks. $11.00 for a vodka redbull, and doesn't even use a full 8.4 oz redbull. But it's a nice drop in spot if you're in salt lake.

Fin place to play some games. They serve beer!! And have places to put them next to every game. Staff was really nice. Don't bang on the machines if they eat your quarter, just tell the guy and he will come give you credit. I made that mistake?? guess I went all the way back to the 80s?? Fun place!

Very excellent choice of pinball machines and video games. Beer was reasonably priced. Only thing I didn't like was that it was way too dark at night to see where your pinball was hitting at the top of the machines.

A much needed bar on the salt lake bar scene. It would be nice if they had some cheaper drink selections, because I end up drinking a lot when I play Killer Queen. The bar can be a bit slow when it gets crowded, but overall, it is a good time.

Hip Barcade just off Main Street. There's seating towards the back. It's nice how all the games have little tables for your drinks.

Cool place!! The concert venue is definitely small but in the best way. The sound was balanced pretty well, and the backlit wall made for an awesome visual experience! The arcade part is also super fun, just make sure to bring cash/quarters when you come!

We went here for my son's 21st birthday and had a great time. I have a feeling it's probably super crowded on weekends though. They have a really nice variety of arcade and pinball machines, some were very nostalgic and others were completely new to me.

I am incredibly impressed with the old school arcade games and selection of local brewery beer. I had a great time tonight playing pinball off of quarters and drinking an IPA. Not use to Utah law I thought it was weird they scanned my ID at the door. It is the law here so don't be alarmed. This is a bar, not a restaurant. No food on the menu, only alcohol. Have Fun!!

Really fun spot! Not just your average sit-and-drink bar. The decor, neon, and grungy 80s vibe fit perfectly with the motif. The bartenders are nice and make good recommendations! All the games really are true to the name- so make sure you bring your quarters, or at least bills to exchange in their change machine. They've also made sure to put hand sanitizer out everywhere during covid, so I feel safer hanging out there when I'm able to sanitize before/after every game.

This style of pub is outstanding!! Arcade games, pinball and of course a foosball table. We had a blast there, I hope you do as well.

Every other Sunday they do like smash brothers tournaments, it used to be a cool place but now it's hipsters and douches.

The thing is, a barcade is just not the place for me. I've got OCD, so a bunch of handles and buttons being touched all the time by a few hundred people is not my scene. Plus, it's cramped and not super well-ventilated so the air is just like humid with human vapor. Sorry ha ha. However, I was here for a concert on the DLC stage in the back, and it was a great experience! I didn't play any games, but I had really good interactions with the bartender in the main bar and at the DLC. Both were quick, friendly

Went there for a Metal Show (The DLC) pretty small venue. I frequent the smaller quarters in sugar house and what I could tell these drinks are around the same price if not the same drinks in some cases. Usually don't have to wait to long for service and more newer machines at this location. Huge date spot but I'll wouldn't mind swinging by this place for a few drinks and a couple quick games by myself either. Would love to see a show here again!

Great atmosphere and fun arcade games

Has that "dark cave" feeling of old arcades as they were back in the 1980s, not the fake neon-light Trapper-Keeper retro-nostalgia that many similar establishments try to emulate. This is a positive in my opinion. Cocktails were excellent, the machines were very reasonably priced, and what was most impressive is that out of the 10 or so machines I played, I didn't encounter a single broken button or joystick.

What a cool arcade to have in Salt Lake City! Love the underground vibe! Lots of games to play... skee-ball, foosball, arcade games, board games, and lots of pinball! They even have a live music venue attached to the space for an additional cost. I would love if they made another Quarters in the Sandy/Draper area! We need more fun things to do down here :)

In town for a conference and checked this spot out. Lots of good beer options and was pleased to see all the arcade machines were in working order! Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

This place is so fun. I've lived downtown for 6 years, and I never get sick of going here. The games are very cheap, 25 cents to a dollar so its very budget friendly. They have every vintage arcade game you can think of. They also have 4 - 6 player games, which are really fun if you have a big group The drinks are average for the city, 10ish bucks for a cocktail. This is a fantastic date spot. The games and lighting are really fun and they have a full cocktail bar. Also there is a music venue in the back called DLC where they book local bands and there is another mini bar back there too. Great staff with very little turnover, so you know management is great. My first time here was for trivia night. I met my adult kids here. I felt like I was going back in time when I was a kid in the early 80's. I had so much fun! I didn't eat, so I can't comment on that. The staff was excellent. The bar staff were friendly and did a great job getting through the lines. Good drinks, good prices. Parking is difficult downtown, use public or walk.

My favorite place for first dates and bringing groups of friends! Quarters is a wonderful classic arcade that happens to make some good stiff drinks too! Well worth a visit and enjoying the atmosphere and games.

What a fun place. The beer selection was great and there was a full bar too. Saw some really nice looking cocktails getting whipped up. Spent about $10 in quarters over about an hour. There were a lot of retro games and pinball.....nothing new or very modern....still a lot to play though. There was a band jamming out the night I was in and it made the vibe that much more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and plan to return in the future.

Whether you are into pinball or arcade, this is one of my favorite adult amusement places in slc. Sure, you could get drunk and play with yourself at home, but it's much cooler to say you did that at Quarters. Did you know they have league nights too?

This place is awesome! I haven't eaten here but I've played a lot of games and always had an amazing time. Staff is incredibly friendly, they have all the best games, and something for everyone. Whether you want some old school pinball, the latest stuff, or even the cheesy games from the 90s (that's me!) there is plenty here.

Downtown Quarters was great and had a good time to feel like a child again. Went to the sugar house one and parking was hard so we didn't enter yet.

Drinks are strong! Games are old but fun! Its loud, so don't have serious conversations in there. Bathrooms are surprisingly nice.

Go to Sunday morning Bartoons! You can't beat the nostalgia with a $3 unlimited cereal bar, their alcoholic cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs cereal, $4 Sunny D mimosas, 90s cartoons and, of course, their arcade.

This place was cute and had tons of arcade games, but the drink I ordered (It had Monkey in the name) was supposed to have a banana taste to it and did not. The bourbon and orange flavoring overpowered it.

Best bartenders and cocktails in town I've heard and they're not wrong. You want to have a release and enjoy a carefully crafted cocktail? Would rather sip on a Hamm?s? They've got both and the best collection of arcade games and knowledgeable employees and regulars to boot

Many of the staff lack professional decorum. It's extremely hot inside the establishment, No A/C. Furthermore, through system was down and when it goes down they cannot sell you any beverages. So imagine being hot, thirsty, and bothered in a bar that is too small and has too many patrons in it, all suffering at the same time. I was in and out of this joint in less than 20 minutes. Which was how long it took me to work up a sweat using the restroom, then say hi and goodbye to friends and family.

The bartending here sucks like most places in slc, they treat you like a burden for ordering some beer and bad tasting drinks. I used to go here often and use their sf2 machine. The back of the place,where they have the seating, smells like piss. The biggest issue is the service. Good luck quarters it was a good start.

Super fun underground arcade, bar and recently venue! My boyfriend played a show here with Driveways and it was rad- a bit packed but the drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was too much fun.

This was a cool barcade to go to. Lots of pinball machines and arcade games plus a few one off games and ski ball. Definitely have some newer pinball machines that I loved! Drinks were good and not overpriced. There is also a small music venue inside.

The female bartender with short hair and glasses is incredibly rude. Doesn't even say a word to you when getting a drink and just slams it on the table. Then she hovers over you as you're writing a tip. Yeah, you're not getting a tip. Typically a really cool place but bartenders should learn how to be nice to people if they want people to come back
