I highly recommend Quarter Drop after a last-minute change of plans for my son?s 15th birthday. My son decided to change his birthday plans just 24 hours before the celebration, leaving me with little time to organize everything. Fortunately, I called Quarter Drop and discovered that they had an unexpected opening for Friday night, allowing us to book the party. I explained the situation?that my son was still finalizing the guest list?and asked if I would be able to cancel last minute if there were no gues

Once you enter, the lights and sounds of arcade machines going off, the Awesome carpet layout and ceiling work..... You know you're gonna have FUN! Was greeted with a friendly "Welcome In" by the owner and I proceeded to drop quarters. A great selection of games for all ages. Machines are well maintained and great prizes for redemption of tickets. This is truly a gem of a place that has you coming back for more. ??

Hot pinball spot. I am a fairly serious pinball player and I came here for the machines. They did not disappoint. All machines were mechanically intact and felt brand new. All possible machines connected to the internet. Pinball machines take a ton of maintenance and I can tell these are well maintained. Aside from the pinball machines, the places super cool. Kind of like a big clubhouse out of dazed and confused. Lots of UV art and neat retro video games. AfterBurner? What?! I don't think I've seen that

This arcade is fantastic, and it's just what this town needed. The employees and owner are all really nice and passionate about what they do. The owner makes an effort to record daily videos and live streams for his community, which really shows how much he cares about his customers. Overall, this arcade has great games, a fantastic environment, and wonderful employees, highly recommend!

This is place is awesome. The workers and owner are super cool and you can tell that they are all passionate about what they're doing. Only other thing I'll add is that it'd be cool if they had a PS2 in the console set up, me and my family would love to reminisce. 10/10 Experience would recommend!

Super cool arcade! The staff are super friendly and the games are very affordable. A machine ate my coins and they very happily gave me my coins back. I also had a ton of tickets I wanted to take home so I could save up, and they let me take a basket with me to carry them. Been waiting for many months to go to the arcade and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

Great retro arcade. You can tell it is a passion project that someone loves just walking in. Highly recommend for a small local arcade

This arcade is so much fun. A mix of old and newer. The retro classics and the pinball options were amazing. Several new Sterns tables that are app compatible.

The first time I walked into the Quarter Drop Arcade I was greeted with a friendly smile and a ?welcome in!? I come in whenever I can and play on the beautiful selection of pinball machines in the Pinball Zone. I am overjoyed with this new game I have learned how to play, coming in after work and playing some games means I can come home and leave the frustration of that day behind. The Quarter Drop Arcade is truly a one of a kind experience, and Coe will make sure that if you need something or have any prob

Didn't visit yet and sadly won't for a good bit, since I live a whole continent away, but the arcade looks fantastic and has a true passionate owner! Just from the looks and the lineup definitely worth a visit, for people who just want to check in and even more for arcade-lovers! Gotta drop a quarter! And of course, all the very best for opening day???

OMG WE'VE NEEDED THIS FOR SO LONG!!! Payed $10 dollars for an hour on the TV in the back (very good pricing btw) and the man at the counter was so nice and understanding and helpful! We've needed some place aimed toward teenage entertainment instead of something for kids or adults. Thanks SO MUCH for opening this place up!!! The pinball machines are awesome btw <3

What am awesome experience and fun atmosphere! It is affordable and the owner is very welcoming! You can't go wrong by dropping some quarters at the quarter drop!

The place looks amazing, the retro theme is spot on, super clean and the staff is so nice and friendly, such a nice experience.

Tiny. Overcrowded. The pictures are deceptive. This place is smaller than a new York studio apartment

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
