Perfect Family Fun Spot in Waco! Putters Golf is such a fantastic place for a family outing! The courses are fun and challenging enough for all ages, and the atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly. We had a great time playing mini-golf together ? lots of laughs and friendly competition. The staff was super welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. If you're looking for a fun way to spend quality time with family or friends in Waco, Putters Golf is definitely the place to g
So putt-putt golf in an air conditioned environment, fun time. Full bar. Small arcade also. Not enough 80s classics, down side is you have to order food from Billy bobs, they do not prepare food on premises. Service was above average. No obstacles like windmills on the course, it's all made of bricks & artificial grass. But I would recommend this in the summer.
Amazing atmosphere and friendly workers! Great prices on drinks as well as tons of games to play with your group. Will definitely be coming back.
Reasonably priced but the drinks were not good.
My roommate and I had a friend back in town for a night and decided to go to Putter's for a drink. We had not drank anything before entering, but I guess we entered just a bit too happy to hang out with our friend at our favorite bar. For some completely unknown reason, the three of us were asked to leave. We each had a single drink and before we could even order a second the bartender told us his higher-ups cut us off. We asked why, and apparently they couldn't tell us the reason why we couldn't spend mor
This place is pretty freaking neat for adults that are kids at heart! Lol They have mini golf, arcades, pool, video games, table games and a full bar. The place was clean and they had plenty of screens to watch tv, plenty of tables inside and outside as well. And the drinks were pretty good. Only bad thing was that about 4 of the arcades we tried did not work and it ate up our quarters, so that was a bummer. Definitely recommend this place for some fun!
Very clean, festive place. 9 hole putt putt. Full bar. Couple of side bars. Driving range and excellent service and employees. It was hot today. Thankfully they had cooling fans, and air conditioning in the bar. Family friendly. Just off hwy 35.
Just went in to check out the arcade games. Played Centipede & Pac Man. Great place.
Dead with three bartenders and we still waited 10 minutes to get a drink. Ended up leaving. They definitely don't care about customers or making money
There is no food here, but there are a few places close by that will deliver. Fun place for my kids. They played mini golf and some games and had fun being kids.
Cool spot to chill, drink, listen to music, play video games billiards and many many board games while also being around a plethora of age groups having a good time. Came here for four years from Killeen to get that non military vibe but not the bustling city streets of Austin or Dallas, weekends are pretty busy and filled but swing by on off days during the week never hurt either! Drinks are nicely priced and bartenders are pleasant and attentive. Thank you for the great times!
Came to Putters in the evening and it was a very short trip. Went to the restroom with a friend and there was an absolute mess so we went into a small stall together. On our way out, there was staff gathering to address the mess and we went back to our group just minding our own business. Roughly 15 minutes later, a man comes up to our group asking us to leave and we were all shocked. Then he clarified that only me and my friend had to leave. When we asked why he just said, ?For what happened in the bathr
There is mini-golf in Waco, and it's $5 to $7 per person... for unlimited golf! Great prices, great fun for kids + adults alike. Go enjoy :)
Awesome hidden gem. Loved the arcade games and the beers were cold. Will definitely be back.
Fun bar for the family! Booze, Video games and mini golf, what else could we ask for?
Really fun little bar, they have a bunch of tables with retro game systems (n64, genesis, nes, etc) and the mini gold is deceptively challenging. I'll definitely be back!
We went on a Friday afternoon between Christmas and New Year with the kids. We were the only ones there for an hour or so. It was excellent. No frills mini golf but did the trick for $5. Mom and dad could have a beer and then play an OG Nintendo in the arcade.
The atmosphere is great.. I love the arcade games..?? but if I could give this place zero stars, I promise I would do it in a heartbeat, simply due to the drinks! If you want to throw your money away, go to the bar at Putters! The drinks are weak.. childishly weak. Bad enough to not only ensure that I do not return, but I will be sure to tell everyone I make contact with to not waste their money. I'm guessing it is the reason this place is absolutely dead right now!
Loud and not a very clean dirty we played putt putt and there were broken bottles all on the floor and bathroom s were nasty and smelled like urine and toilet was overflowing all over said something and was shrugged off
Has definitely improved since the last time I went! Loved the arcade games, and it's a reasonable price for pool and mini golf. The drinks were also pretty good and they had a lot of specials
Don't go on as a white man. Got kicked out an hour in. Didn't leave the bar. Figures!
Vee is the receptionist, she was great and kind thank you showing us the way to play
this place was recommended to us & we had a great time when we came in! super fun and the bartender was great
Cool atmosphere to bring kiddos before 9 pm. You have your golfing & arcade. & they only cost a 25 cents to a dollar. You have the big screen to play nba 2k21. Jenga , pac man , they have games you can sit , eat & play at the table.
I enjoyed this place. Fun place to hang out and play pool badly.
It was our first time here and Me and my wife was wrongly accused of ?following a worker? all we did was play the games and play mini golf. It was my wife?s one of the few times going to some place like this and it ruined her buzz. And mine at that. Manager doesn't even wanna speak to us about the matter, we went to crickets and hoping to come back to putters because we really enjoyed it but the second time we got to the door, the bouncer denied us entrance showing us a picture of us at the bar saying that
Great place. Amazing atmosphere. $5 kids mini golf. $7 adult. Happy hour until 7pm. All the arcade games work. They have billiards and Foosball as well as a lounge area and full bar. Definitely recommend
Went there last night with 5 friends. All of us wanted drinks. Stood at the bar for 10 mins watching one bartender actually make drinks while the other one was changing tv channels. I'm not sure why that was important at the time. No hello, or be right with you. Bartender changing channels decided to get the people behind us order so that was the final straw. Left and went to Clicks had a great time.
Super Fun! Had a blast spending my time and money here. They have everything from mini golf, old school video games to your basic games at the tables. They even have games in the bathroom. Cold beers and amazing pickle shots! I highly recommend going here if you're looking for fun because it's great for all ages.
This is a great hangout spot. Kids are welcome until 9pm. Saturday when they open is prime for kids playing the 9 hole mini golf course. Lots of fun. Projector TV by the bar. Had a great time watching the game.
It gets a 3 instead of a four cause I've been kicked out a couple times and I blew out my oil pan in the "field" that's not theirs nore is it owned by them?? but I was coming in kinda hot, from a similar establishment.. ?? went back during the day and there was a concrete curb type thing I hit, but that's neither here nor there, location isn't bad and the atmosphere is good they have a few activities to keep you entertained plus a smoking section outside with corn hole " if your in to that stuff" and prop
Absolutely loved the indoor golf course and old school video games. Enjoyed hanging out with my older kids. Staff was amazing and the atmosphere was on point!
Putters has been growing more and more since I've moved to Texas! It was the first place I went to hang out 5 years ago, and I still love going there now! I was able to go live for my stream page, which from what I understand, doesn't happen much. So, a huge thank you to management, and ownership, for that honor! Putters is definitely THE place to go, if you're looking for some nostalgia, mixed with an amazing bar staff, well made drinks, and great conversation, or just to let loose, shoot some pool, and sh
6 of us walked in at 7:30pm ready to have some drinks and enjoy putt putt. We stood at the bar for 30 minutes and were ignored service while they served everyone around us AND BEHIND US. So we left. Wanted to try a new place and won't be back.
Love Putters! We go there for Family night, girls night, and date nights. Music and vintage video games. Mini golf and booze! Can't wait to go back.
My daughter and I love this place. It is family friendly fun!
Great place. Climate controlled, games, food, beer. Friendly staff. Loved it
Horrible service not friendly at all. My girlfriend and I got there around 8pm and there was maybe 7 people all together there at that time and one of the bartenders saw us and started messing with the TV so we stood there for probably 15 mins waiting for him to say something to us at least or serve us. In my own opinion I think the customer is more important than messing with the TV, So we got tired of waiting and went to the other end of the bar to a female bartender,we walked up to her side of the bar sh
Sodas were nasty. It was night time and I couldn't really vibe with all the kids that came in
I really wanted to love this place. I went here with my hubby on a date. First off it was really disorganized. No explanation on how things work. Walked up to the bar & the bar tender really seemed disinterested in waiting on us. We were there for over an hour. I got one drink and was never asked if I wanted another. During staff change no one acknowledged us. Finally we asked to close out. All we heard about was some fight that happened at the bar that they were looking for on camera.
This was a cool little place that didn't break the bank. It's also cool for the kids but lets the adults have a drink and relax. Gaming consoles are in most of the booths for the kids to play and putt putt is a nice course. It's an easy course but still fun for kids and as an adult too.
Stopped by here for a late night drink and to hang out for a bit, and having never been here before I thought it was actually pretty cool. They have booth tables set up on one side of the building with N64 plugged in and ready to go, four of us played Mario kart for a while which was really fun. The other side of the building is a 18 hole mini golf course, which is usually I think seven bucks a person, but since it was after midnight or 12:30 a.m., the worker gave it to us for half price so that was pretty
I don't believe they serve food but you are able to order food and get it delivered or bring food in. It gets packed on the weekend they play all sorts of music. It's a younger crowd but I love it. I am older lol
I have to say the concept of this place is awesome! That being said its not being run with quality in my opinion. Loved the mini golf but area is tiny and gets congested, the arcade games brought back fun childhood memories but their machines steal quarters freeze up and sometimes don't work at all. When I told them my game froze they didn't even offer to replace my quarters. Bar looks great and who doesn't like playing games with a buzz but stick with beer because they heavily water down their drinks and th
Amazing place for the whole family honestly! Great staff and the atmosphere is awesome.. If you stop by, there's drinks for everyone, games, pool and mini golf. They don't serve food here but you can pick one of two restaurants to have delivered for free. I personally prefer Billy Bob's! (Best bartender in Waco is the bearded guy with piercings. ??)
Definitely a fun place to go on a date! There's no cover charge and majority of the games are free. They have tons of throwback systems and games. It does kinda suck that the arcade styled ones aren't free too but overall a great time. They even have mini golf!
Great hangout. Plenty to do, drinks are decent, prices are slightly elevated but the fringe benefits are awesome. Free games at the bar and several tables (provided you're a paying customer). Overall, positive experience. The service is top-notch. Each staff member seemed interested in ensuring a positive experience. That's what sets this place above.
I had a great time at Putters mini golf and bar. The colorful LED lights added a fun and lively atmosphere. The mini golf course was challenging, although it would have been helpful to have Par numbers on the holes. The drinks were reasonably priced and the arcade area with pool and foosball was a nice addition. Overall, I would recommend Putters to anyone looking for a fun and unique night out.
Took my kids for a little venture there and putt putt was fun. They also have arcade and games to play on the other side. And a bar if the adults feel thirsty. Only bad thing is some of the arcades didn't work and some took our money, so definitely need fixing. Overall not a bad place to hangout at if you love gaming.
Bar is great, they have menus for restaurants that deliver food to the location. The outside area is nice for our veteran meet ups (with cornhole) and the inside has arcade games, put-put and pool tables. The pool tables are in serious need of cleaning and maintenance (but I'm a stickler for those lol) so that's why I gave 4 stars rather than 5.
Nice place! I enjoyed time with my kids here. No one under 21 after 8pm. Drinks need some improvement... Facts-one of my kid is 22 and the other one is 19. Overall mini golf was fun!
This place exceeded my expectations. I knew that it was a small put-put course before going, but I did not expect them to be so creative with the courses and the obstacles. I also did not expect such a variety of arcade games to be able to fit in their space. The drinks were priced fairly and the staff was very nice. It was a fun few hours! I hope someday they are able to introduce some food because the only reason we left was because we got hungry, otherwise, we would have spent a lot more money at Putters
Great date night place. It would be awesome for mid age kids during the day. I saw a kid about 10 jump for joy when seeing the putt putt course. There's a all you can play putt putt course that's legitimately challenging. They also have old school game consoles at the tables and long the walls that you can play for free. That's in addition to all the arcade games that take quarters and the traditional bar games like jinga. You can order food from a couple local restaurants if you're hungry. This was a fu
what an amazing idea this place was ... So fun. My 11 year old son && I stayed here for hours. so many different arcade games from all generations.(I did lose about $7 in the machines though) A pinball machine, pool table and air hockey would makes this place even better. Every table has a different game on it. Booths all have different game consoles, && the tall tables each have a different board game/card game. MINI golf course was very inexpensive && it's unlimited once you buy your first round. The full
I'm 15 and tonight me and my dad where spending time together. My dad is teaching me how to drive, so he told me to play one of the driving games. The games either stole coins or didn't register the coins. Although the staff is really chill and nice. This arcade would be vary cool to spend time at if the games worked and there was a better game selection. I did have fun with my dad tonight but I wish the owners would take better care of the games.
Great fun with the kid ! Golf was only $5 to play for one child, and I was able to play for free with him. *Adults $7 to play. Arcade games are available, pool, and free games from Xbox, playstation, Nintendo, and Sega. They alo have cards and other board games available. I seen that there was a change machine available for the arcade games, if interested. The atmosphere was chill and laid back, no cover charge before 8,(no kiddos after 8). We went between the hours of 3-5. Plenty of restaurants in the area
No food on site. Can get food next door.
I quite like it! It was very fun and the drinks were nice too. I love the vibes it gives! Perfect to bring your sweetheart!
I could not have had a better time. Blasted back into a time capsule filled withthe memories of my childhood. with all of the fun games and decor who cod not love this place. Wish that they had a bit bigger of a selection of signature drinks but I am not complaining. Mini Golf is an absolute great game to play when on a date or just hanging out with friends. Just try to limit the nu.ber of players in your group unless you have the whole place to your self.
I ruled the course! Fun place! Bartender was delightful! Drinks were a good price and tasted ?? stout! ?? Really cool to play all the old games! Great idea!
Loved it!!! Only set back is it's for older kids that understand how to listen lol my 2yr made it difficult ?? but we enjoyed it anyway and it wasn't super busy. Nice people, fun place
I came here the other day and it was alright. The only cool thing about this place is the mini golf. All the arcade games take coins and its not much just 25 cents each, but compared to another bar with free arcade games. It gets really packed late at night too. With covid it makes me uncomfortable. Everyone is shoulder to shoulder and wearing no masks.
BY FAR one of the best late night bars I've ever been too. CLEAN!!! The BEST customer service! Decently priced everything! From the board games, to the arcade games, the video games, and mini golf, and jenga! So much fun for everyone! Highly recommend!!!!
I'm apart of a veterans group that meets here once a month. The bar is outstanding. Arcade games everywhere. Old console games at each booth. Sports on behind the bar. An outdoor smoking section. Indoor putt putt. Jenga. A huge connect four. Card games like uno at different tables. Pool tables. A Foosball table. They literally have everything. We love coming here. 10/10
Younger college crowd did have fun till I I found a spot to order a drink and this girl's man came back to his seat and then she tried to start something with me even though I was not even close to thinking her man was cute and I was casual dress no makeup but security was friendly about it and saw everything. And advised her to shut up. We left shortly after.
Extremely loud, no servers, and too many disrespectful drunk "kidults" allowed to stay after causing problems. The retro games at the booths were awesome though.
Loved it here! I could see that it could get crowded at night but we went mid afternoon and it was perfect. Loved the putt putt and arcade games. Beer was nice and cold! Staff was polite and young lady who greeted us for putt putt was friendly and helpful!
My boyfriend and I met up with some friends for a double date and we ended up at this place! It was awesome! Great atmosphere, music, drinks, games! While our partners played pool we played a giant Jenga game that was on the table! I cant give this place enough stars!!
Cool place to play games, putt-putt, or have a beverage.
Had a great time there but this is the 2nd time that a tip was added to my card days later that I did not add.I gave a cash tip.I let it go the first time but I will never be back because of this reason!!!!
It was obnoxiously loud and the drinks tasted like they had been significantly watered down. If it didn't have Galaga, it would be 1 star.
It was an amazing experience, the bartenders were very nice. The atmosphere was a chill and easy going vibe. Over all a lot of fun.
I've only been once, but the vibe was great. Lots of things to do, from playing pool, jenga, video games, mini golf, to bringing your own games for a night out with your friends. Bar staff is quick and friendly. I'll be back.
An impromptu addition to our plans for that day, and it was a pleasant surprise. They had just opened when we got there and we had the entire place to ourselves. The mini golf course was very different than anything we've ever played, including some holes that seemed impossible to even have a chance at a hole in one. The 18th hole was extra cool with its skee ball style.
Alot of the games take your money and don't work, also, I don't wear a grill, but my brother does, the guy working the counter asked him to take it out, he was professional about it but at the same time he was wearing a nose ring, kind of a double standard and a form of legal discrimination. The place is ok, nothing to rave about. Draft beer was 3.00 and good service.
We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Putters. We all had a great time. Great service and fun atmosphere. I reserved a table for an excellent price. The day after the party, Rhonda (owner, I think) called me personally to ask about my experience. I will definitely have other parties at Putters. I highly recommend Putters for parties and also just a fun place to go.
We had an absolute blast! Waco has needed this for a long time. Great atmosphere, impeccable service, and a good overall value. We played old school video games till we were tired and can't wait to come back.
This place was amazing! So laid back and fun... Plus indoor mini golf and vintage video games... Hard to fault them for anything. No kitchen though just FYI.
Had a blast! I like the old consoles you can play and the kids had fun with putt putt.
This place is perfect for a lazy afternoon with your kid. Very inexpensive and very nostalgic for adults. ????
Impaid 26.52 for sum drinks and 2 days later my payment updates to $35 the waiters be tipping them selfs they been doin this alot tipped themselves $8
Fun place for kids and adults, they also have other games for kids or kids at heart however the putt-putt is a little high price, $5. For 12 and under, $7. For 13 and above 21 and up after 8 p.m. Overall a fun place to be at.5 stars Definitely be going again
I wasn't sure what to expect honestly. But this place hit a lot of high points with. The entire theme/gimmick worked very well. Plus what I really appreciated was that the bartenders were actually bartenders and not cocktail servers.
Golf course is not well set up, and too crowded, and that was just three families on the course at once. The games were either taken or out of order. The bartenders standing around on their phones instead of waiting on customers, had to pay for bar tab and golf separately, couldn't put it on your tab. Just not well done. The mark of every good mini golf course is the miracle shot. There should be a way no matter how slim to hole out. The course is laid on on artificial turf glued to the floor so very fast a
They did not let me and my family in as we were wearing athletic shorts even though they do not advertise at all that they do not allow this. They market themselves as a mini golf and arcade place when in reality they are simply a poorly run sports bar. If I wanted to go to a bar I'd go to Barnett?s. Do not come to this bar for any reason
Could use a pinball machine, some of the games don't work 100%. For example, the Simpson's game you can only pick Lisa .
It's fairly fun if you are looking for something different. Not a real nice miniature golf course, but challenging. Arcade games are classics, but some don't work very well, and are expensive. Much more than when they came out. Fairly noisey. Have some good tv's.
This place is a mess. They are operating against the laws and are open even though they make majority of their money from alcohol. (States on door they are a 51% establishment). They have a sharpie written ?dress code? that states no athletic wear when their business is literally called ?putters? because of the Putt Putt they allow you to play along side arcade games. However, we had a group of 6 people in the previous night and 2 of the guys were wearing basketball shorts. But because the owner was all the
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
