Really cute and clean place to play! Putt-putt was fun and has two courses you can play. Go-carts ran well and went pretty fast, and the arcade had a decent amount of different things to play. I also want to shout out how clean the bathrooms were, which made us feel like the kitchen would be the same. All in all, we had a wonderful experience.
I understand places like this need to make money but the pricing just doesn't really make sense anymore they used to do wrist bands for like an hour or 2 hours and buisness seemed great but now for 1 game or one race it's $9-$10 for 1! I feel like this is only going to make buisness decline unless something with pricing changes or at least bring the wrist band back or do some sort of deals. I used to love this place as a kid i am not talking down on putt putt but the pricing of some of the attractions just
If you have questions feel free to call and ask!
Great place for kids and adults Fun games Just make sure you play the games you want before you reach you bonus money. Your bonus money can only be used for a few games
We love coming here! If you haven't been in a while, try the laser tag game! They have a second floor to it, and it's sort of like capture the flag where you try to destroy each other's base.
Nice place to putt a few rounds. Needs another basketball game as it always 2 grown men who missed the league hogging it up so the kids can't play. Go carts and laser tag are awesome when working.
It's everything that's wrong with these kind of places the games are expensive and most were out of service the prize machines are rigged and you cant buy prizes from the booth horrible place highly recommend anywhere else but there would leave zero if possible
Very fun, our son had a blast and the staff was very nice. Very clean facility as well.
Lots of fun! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility inside and out was very clean. Price was great. I will be going back. Great time for family fun.
It is a decent little place to go and kill some time with the kids. They have reasonable prices for the attractions. They also have bundles you can get. They do not accept Groupon, so don't make the same mistake I did. I purchased 2 Groupons only to find out that there are more than one of these around in Virginia. The mini golf is pretty underwhelming. Lazer tag is fun, and there is a small arcade area. Glad we went there, but wouldn't go back again.
I grew up going here at least once per year, and just visited on a double date as an adult. The employees were great! They were patient with explaining the pricing and our choosing prizes. J went out of his way to accommodate us when one of the bumper carts wasn't working very well. Great experience!!
There was a lot of course to putt. The puzzles of making a hole in one were quite refreshing but they repeat occasionally. I went with 3 people and we were able to move fast enough to not crowd up the place. On top of this there is an arcade inside for after or before as well as beverages and clean facilities. It was quite fun.
My family took my dad with Alzheimers to celebrate his 73 birthday. One of the things he misses most is driving. We hoped he would be able to use the go karts to get a feeling of driving again. Julia and the whole staff were so kind and accommodating for our family and for my dad from everything to mini golf, go karts, arcade games, etc... Julia was patient, helpful and attentive. We are so grateful for a fun afternoon for him and the smile on his face as he got to "drive" again. Thank you Julia, you are aw
Took my daughter here for her birthday we had a blast especially doing the laser tag as well as the go kart was fun decent price for all that we did including the miniature golf would've had more finished the golf but we got our day started late but we did have fun recommend going when it's not a lot of people especially if you have a medium to large family will highly recommend and it exceeded my expectations. But I will highly recommend going and we will be going back
Went to have some fun on a sunny day before the rain comes........ Was told the track was to wet to run the go carts. The rain came 2 hours later. Very disappointed.
I visited to celebrate Father?s Day with my family, but my experience was not so great. My family?s experience with the golf course was okay, but my experience with the arcade games was extremely inferior to my family?s okay experience with the golf course. My fiancee and I stayed inside to play arcade games but the majority of the machines did not work. The only good machines were The Walking Dead and the air hockey machine. Everything else was of extremely low quality and the staff members gave some of th
Games are fun but a lot of indoor games needed maintenance and did not work. They had outdoor games like putt putt that looked fun. The kids had a blast. It is not cheap so bring extra money to play longer.
The staff makes the experience better! Great course. We had fun.
My 7 year old just had her birthday party here and it was SO MUCH FUN. You will not find anywhere in Lynchburg better priced. *She had 5 of her friends and they rode bumper cars indoors with great music they all knew the lyrics to, because Music is everything to kids nowadays! ? *We rode bumper boats outside (I got drenched, the kids loved spraying me with the built in water guns on their boats, they could finally get me back via pure anarchy) *Go Karts! My dad is 68 years old and the biggest child at the p
Had a great time. Customer service is lacking. The cashier was not friendly and almost seem like she didn't want to be there.
Absolute nightmare of an evening- We spent $250 to bring the kids there only to have 4 obnoxious teenagers harass and and chase us throughout the evening- all because they wanted to ride the go carts by themselves and race each other?! The poor staff were unable to control them- We ended up having to call the police? it didn't help that 2 of the employees appeared to be friends with the group- They did not ask them to leave, but put them in a side room while we tried to leave- they wouldn't stay in the side
Was a very fun experience with my friends and their kids. We played laser tag and a lot of games. Even played a little put put. It was very enjoyable.
Fun family place to take your kids. It's slightly pricey but worth the smile on your kids face.
Still the same clean family fun center.
Had a blast not to big but not to small
i had a great time there
Went there for a date and did 1v1 laser tag, go karts, and the arcade. Overall an amazing experience and would definitely recommend anyone go there for experiencing your childhood again!
The 90s never die here. Great fun for the kids and good memories are made here.
We had such a fantastic experience here for a surprise 40th birthday for my husband! Such a great place to host a party for any age! Something for everyone, all year round. Staff was wonderful, party room was perfect, everything (even restrooms) were so clean. Pizza was good and everything we ordered was right on time. We had an A+ experience and we will definitely use again for future parties!
My grandchildren loved the Lazer tag. The go-karts and arcade. We will definitely be back again
We were traveling from out of state and rain had canceled our plans to go to the beach so we looked for other attractions on the area and came across Putt-Putt and it did not disappoint! We bought a 2 hour pass and game card($10 worth of credit) for $25 per person and it was honestly worth every penny. We did water bumper boats, mini golf, inside bumper cars, laser tag and played in the arcade. The laser tag was probably my personal favorite. It was a big 2 story course and had plenty of room to run arou
My grandson?s birthday party was so much fun. The staff was first class and our party hostess was super friendly and fun! They were very busy, but the staff was cleaning and keeping things rolling. What a fun place to have in Lynchburg. Loved the smiling faces
We booked putt putt fun center for my son's 10th birthday on August 1st. This was a Saturday. This was the first available weekend to do a party since the pandemic started. The go carts were not available, but the manager kim personally called me two weeks before the party to let me know. This was not a problem for us. We had many people come celebrate from out of town. The experience was phenomenal! Considering nobody really knows how to party during the covid.... Everyone had. Great time!the kids loved bu
We came in early on Saturday to pay for passes, because everything had changed in cost. I bought $70 worth of entertainment and was going to order pizza and a soda when I came in later that day. The birthday party limit is 8 people but my daughter only wanted two people to come hang out. So I decided not to do a birthday this year. Last year we did do a party there and another year before that. We walked in with a couple of her presents and one cupcake for my daughter and were immediately accosted by a girl
We have a family of 5 and have been coming here for years now and have always had a great time for a very reasonable price. In fact, I've rented a party room multiple years for birthday parties. We didn't come during the heat of the pandemic naturally and were surprised to find such a huge jump in prices upon our visit today. We used to pay $25 a person for unlimited play for 2 hrs. Today we come in to find that this pricing is no longer offered and it would be all of $50 just for one 5 minute go kart race
Took my children to putt putt during spring break and was flabbergasted by the go kart policy. Apparently you need to bring in a valid drivers license to drive someone that's not tall enough but a child tall enough doesn't need a license to drive a go cart. Make it make sense. Whatever, that's your policy. I did not have my license because I just ordered a new one but could provide documentation and they still refused me. There was a white woman there with her child who wasn't tall enough to drive the go ca
The place is nice. It's more for teenagers and adults. I was disappointed because my three yr. old wanted to ride the bumper boats and go carts but she couldn't even if she was riding with a parent because of height restrictions. They were very strict about that. My 6yr. Old was tall enough to ride but only with a parent that has a driver license...I love the concept and everything but that was a real let down for me. We really wanted to do more but we couldn't because of that. Other than that the ppl wer
I went to put put during the pandemic and the rides were good, but I saw that the facility was not too clean, didn't see any people cleaning at all while I was there... After you used the laser tag vest no one cleaned them... I didn't feel I was in a safe environment.. The games worked well! So that is a plus!! But I just feel that they need to step up there game on cleaning!
What an amazing experience! Had my son's 4th Birthday there and the staff was amazing. Wednesday was a slow night, but the staff was so accommodating and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. It was the most stress-free party I have ever hosted. I would like to thank Brett and the rest of his staff that worked with him - they had excellent customer service. Congratulations to the management for having such a great team! (2/17/16).
We went here cuz the ?better? place was too crowed. Putt putt was not bad just wish they had some obstacles. We went to the arcade to play some games we bought a $25 game that came with a $5 bonus it would not let us use the bounce so we had to add another $25 card. At the end we had $11 in bounce we could not use so now we are our $11 10/10 would not really wast your time or money wait in line at the other putt putt place.
The attractions were fun. I drove two hours because the kids were excited and wanted to go, but we experienced the worst customer service! They acted like they didn't want to work at all. We were afraid to ask for help. The nice employees were at the go carts. The price is not worth the terrible customer service you get. The girls at the desk are the worst... Too busy in their own conversations.
I had a lot of fun. The arcade has several types of games so it isn't repetitive. Although some of the bumper boats ( as well as one bumper car ) are out of order, I get fixing them takes a lot of time and money. Also the lazer tag is fun, the layout isn't hard but isn't too easy. The best deal in my opinion is the 2 hours unlimited attractions with 10 dollars on your card ( 25$ altogether ). Overall great time.
A fun, local funexperience. The only thing lacking is that their miniature golf has no obstacles like windmills or anything.
This is a fun place to go to for parties! They have more then just golf here. They have go-carts, hold fun birthday parties, and other fun stuff to do. I have been here for my birthday and for my friends' birthdays a few times. I hear that they have been struggling for years from not making much money, because they have few customers, but I honestly don't understand why few people come here and I hope they don't shut down! My experience was not perfect here, but it would still be sad to me if it shut down.
Many games were out of order as was the card reader; at least 6 or more games that i remember were out of order. Many of the games there aren't appropriate for smaller children. I've never played on the golf course so I can't comment on that. The arcade is over priced and many of the games such as the Monopoly game aren't what I would call entertainment. The grabber machines are obvious money gougers as the result is usually that you spend your money without much of a chance of retrieving a ten cent made in
My kids enjoyed It! However the employees didn't seem to friendly. They seemed miserable like as if they didn't want to be there. I had to keep asking how certain attractions work because they did not seem to want to explain. If we return I hope our experience will be better.
No real "obstacles" on either course. Just angles. Some greens were ripped. Not as good as it use to be. But all in all still fun.
WOW!!! What a 5 star experience!! From the manager Chris to the humble and sweet employees! My son was treated like he was family. The establishment was super clean, stocked. Not to mention the awesome prices on the food and the pizza here ROCKS!! I would definitely recommend this place for your child's birthday!
Fun days. The food made me sick
This is a fun place to take the family and have some fun. They have mini golf , go carts , laser tag, bumper boats and batting cages. They have some arcade games too. The laser tag is probably the best one in the area. They do have food and drinks too. They have birthday parties. They do specials to do all of their fun activities for one price. Will be visiting again soon
The place was so much fun! We live in Charlottesville. There isn't much family friendly things to do other than jump and a children?s museum. The staff were all friendly the place was clean. Which is awesome considering there are kids coming in and out. The pricing was bad either. My children had a blast and I'm sure we'll be back soon!
When i took 3 kids and a baby to this place for my oldest 6th birthday, i did not get a good customer service experience. The only good customer service i got was at the Go Karts. The three girls at the front counter where you get your tickets was not at all helpful, i had to ask all the questions and had to ask them twice after not hearing them speaking up to the customer. Getting frustrated the girls was speaking about me to the other girls. Was told that you had to be licensed to drive the go karts an
Not a place for kids under 5. Not listed anywhere in the web site, but there are height limitations to all of the attractions. Less than 44" and no laser tag and no driving. The staff was all teenagers. Very pleasant, but could only answer questions if they were written in the manual. Would have been fine if we knew the restrictions before we made the drive.
Visited for a birthday party, it's was okay. Only 2 bumper boats worked, they had about 8 in the water. Staff doesn't smile or interested in safety of riders One wore earbuds when assisting with managing the attractions. Overall this property needs to be refreshed and updated. Staff needs to be lead and coached.
Birthday parties are AWESOME here! Laser tag is two stories and is great for adults and kids! Plenty to keep you busy, even on a rainy day.
Took my son and friends for his birthday today. Owners were so sweet and accommodating! Definitely will be returning!
Sons birthday party was there! We love going with the family. Always friendly!
Three courses, friendly staff. Prices are a little high and arcade could use some variety; but has lots of good specials and deals. I try to go everytime it rains to get $10 in tokens for $7 on the token card they give you. No more loose tokens OR loose tickets, HUGE benefit!
My grandchildren had so much fun. They are 3&5 , we rode the bumper cars, I with my grandaughter together and my grandson on his own. Be mindful though there is some uncontrollable spinning that made me a bit nauseated. The arcade is generous with tickets, as well as the claw games that pick something up almost every time. They came home with all kinds of treasure. I will definitely take them again.
Run down place, corporate office is quite lazy and doesn't actually care about customers. It's all about the money for them I suppose, would much rather go to funquest where your money is not wasted and your kids can actually have fun. Maybe when this place is under new ownership I'll think about coming back but until then I suggest you go anywhere else but here to have family fun.
Great place , only three things that can be improved . 1)the bathrooms need to be bigger , and upgraded, cleaned too! 2) there needs to be more games for the prices you ask, geezz.or at least make sure they are all working and giving the tickets it says. 3) the staff on some days rock, bit on other there are some teens or young adults who think they are better than everyone and treat customers like dirt or just ignore them.
Michael the general manager greeted us as soon as we walked in. he was so helpful and told my son and I all about the the place since it was our first time there. Absolutely amazing customer service from all the associates that were working. we came from about an hour and a half away and we will definitely be back! keep up the good work
This place is ridiculously high for the amount of things there is to do with children. I would advise not bringing more than two children or you will spend over a $100 just for a few minutes of fun. Overpriced.
Very shady business!! My son had almost $100 left on gift cards that were purchased in Dec. 2019 by myself and his grandparents as Christmas presents. We took him several weeks ago and was told the cards had no value. Apparently their cards, which we were told are not actually ?gift cards?, expire after one year. The cards do not state that anywhere, and neither my mother-in-law nor I was told anything about an expiration when we bought them. The manager said she could do nothing about it and told us to c
Service was decent. The putting greens need attention, the mats at the beginning of each hole are not attached and are distorted. Overall we had a great time and it was VERY affordable. I would suggest adding a laser tag area...
This was the worst customer service ever! I called ahead to see how much it was and the lady told me 17 each for unlimited well I asked her if that included the arcade and attractions and she said Yes! Well I got there and my boyfriend paid $30 each for 3 hours for us both so $60. Well we tried the arcade and it didn't work well we asked why. They said you didn't pay for it I said we did, They said no the unlimited doesn't come with that. Well we never got told that, we got told that it was included. So we
I had left a review on the Putt Putt Facebook page, but Putt Putt seems to have removed the review option on their page. When we visited last week during what was spring break for many, they didn't seem prepared. One course wasn't available, half the go-karts weren't in operation which resulted in long lines. Only one batting cage was open. Most importantly, they didn't perform a safety check on our child prior to him driving on the track. And, I'm really surprised they aren't honoring gift cards they profi
There were only 3 people on staff at that time I went there (names were Nick, Rhonda, and I believe a manager, I think his name is Develin), but all did their best at making sure. Rhonda made sure we were happy with our food and had enough things such as napkins and cups. Nico was pretty cool as Well. He even joined in on a game of laser tag to even up teams (there were only 9 of is in our group). Overall, I had fun that night.
This Was the best time of my life!, My cousin took me here and it was the best day of my life although we needed to be a certain height for go carts I was really upset.
Front desk people were amazing ?? Fun games and great prices. My daughter and I really had a great time ?
Great place for kids at least 36" tall and teens! (And for the parents too)
Very over priced, and the staff is not very friendly or helpful. Disappointed! If your kids are short they can not ride the boats or go-carts. Not even with a parent. They definitely put the FU in fun. Have been here before and no problems and now they say my child can not ride anything. Only allowed to play putt putt.
We will not be going to Putt-Putt Fun Center - Lynchburg, VA ever again! Christmas 2019 my kids received $200 gifts card from Putt Putt as a gift from their grandfather. I thought it was a great idea. As he wanted to gift them an experience, rather than toys. I remember telling them we would wait till it got warmer , so they could actually use them and enjoy them. As we all know, Covid happened in 2020. Once it started to get warmer, we all were put on lock down. The last thing I was thinking about was maki
Always fun. Love this little place.
Excellent family fun! We found staff to be friendly and facilities kept up. Price was reasonable. We would go again for putt putt!
Greatest go kart track ever. We have been to a bunch of them. The staff at the track were so helpful so funny and so nice we think they all need a raise. I would highly recommend this place to go have fun.
Had a great time friendly and informative staff! Go_carts small track but fun design....game room is not hudge but fun games to keep you playing.
It's a great place but make sure your kids are at least 60lbs or they can't ride as many rides. If not it's okay there are some arcade games for them.
Just coming here to say exactly what everyone else has said... My children were gifted gift cards to Putt Putt for Christmas of 2019, and we were excited to use them. By the time it was warm enough, COVID hit and Putt Putt closed. They reopened a few months later, but with the science being terrifying, vague, and unsure, and family being immunocompromised, we did not go for the entirety of the season. I told my kids we would go on Saturday for my son's birthday. We had about $100 in credit between sever
I can see the rapid decline in this once vibrant place. We have been down there twice in the past 3 weekends, and both times the staff are scarce, and either undertrained or simply don't care. There appears to be no REAL adult supervision there and the batting cages are constantly broken or breaking. It's very sad.
OH MANE! My kids and my husband and I really had a ball at this place putt putt is cute a fun and very live it's a great place to take your kids and or like if you go on your first date as a teen TO CUTE! But I plan on taking my oldest twin girls back on their bday coming real soon. So you all need to check it out you won't regret it but putt putt your staff was fun a friendly and very helpful so keep up the Grand Work!
We have had birthday parties at many local kid-friendly spots, but this has been the best place yet. You get so much bang for your buck, and the kids had a blast!
Not necessarily the flashiest place, but usually pretty well maintained and very friendly staff. My boys have a blast and told me it was worth 5 stars, so that's good enough for me. ??
I was really surprised how nice the lazer tag is. Definitely the best lazer tag arena I've ever played in. Its two stories with ramps to the second level with partitions and bunkers everywhere which are styled like ancient ruins and has jungle palms throughout. If you enjoy FPS video games you will love this arena. It has an excellent design for exciting strategic lazer battles.
My family and I had an amazing time here for Father's Day ! The employees working the attractions outside (go carts and the bumper boats) were on point!!!!! Very attentive and personable.
Just left from riding go carts. There was other adults using the go carts as BUMPER CARS and it clearly says NO BUMPING ALLOWED! Told three staff members and each of them acted like it was no big deal! Guess next time we will be playing bumper cars with go carts cause they dont seem to care.
Fun! A few things weren't working at full capacity, like the bumper boats and the fun tiki bumpers in the bumper boat pool, and some go carts were having issues, but the staff were all super friendly and it was an enjoyable time for all of us, ages 4 to 48 ??
No frills miniature golf course. All holes were Par 2, can you make at least a couple of the holes more challenging? Nice place for kid-friendly entertainment!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
