Customer Reviews

A very nice place to get a cat! Well taken care of and lovely place for the cats until they are purchased. They are spayed/neutered and have all shots. Very reasonable price. The owner has this place in honor of her mother.

Thank you to Purradise City for expanding my family! Not only do I have a new kitty companion, but I was able to get cool shirts and explore their fun shop of toys and 3d prints. It is absolutely an amazing place to meet lovely furry friends or just chill and game.

They have lots of cats that are so sweet! The staff keeps it very tidy and fun for everyone. The cats have lots to do but still adore you when you come in. ???? and the staff is wonderful to be around as well! More than just a cat lounge, they lots of video games and you can even customize hats and shirts there too!

1000% recommend this place! Very unique experience, had a lot of fun. Staff was very friendly and explained everything to us. The cats were super cute and friendly and the arcade area was FULL of all different consoles and games. There were also tables available for coloring/painting, puzzles, and board games as well. Very cool place for all ages of kids/families to hang out and have fun.

Super cool place and a way too reasonable price! There is no time limit on your visit either. You can hang out in this place all day long and watch movies and play with cats, or paint a lovely piece of artwork, or just try to conquer one of your favorite video games. This please really does have at all.

Such a fun way to get these little babies adopted!! The owner is so sweet and caring and it's a very clean space. all of the cats were well taken care of as well as they all had such extravagant personalities. It's a great place to relax and hang out. Their snack prices are very cheap and affordable as well! I had a blast and I'll be coming by again

Our 4 boys had the best time today! Chipley needs more kid friendly places like this one. Great variety of gaming systems and games. Tons of board games, puzzles, and craft supplies. Something for everyone! And, don't forget the main attraction, THE CATS!! They have 2 clean, comfy areas to get your serotonin boost snuggling all the cats. We will absolutely be coming back.

This place was so much better than I ever expected. The Owners are so nice and friendly. Very clean. Also so close to great food. A mist if you are in the area.

What a fun concept! Board & computer games plus adoptable kitties to play with. Was visiting from out of town and came across this place as a fun experience when googling what to do in town. Wasn't disappointed!

So fun I loved the cat's the video games and the 3d printed dragons and the cute pens

What's not to love about this great concept and even greater staff and kittens!!!

This has become our favorite spot to come!

I love this place and the staff is amazing. I think this is a wonderful place to bring kids. Its very affordable and right next to a coffee shop. This place also sells some hand made items which are really cool. We got some 3D printed stuff they made. I'm glad this place exists and that they are doing what they are doing. Editing this review: I was able to drop my kiddo off all day while I ran errands around town. For him to play with cats and play games all day it was $15. They were very sweet. He has ADH

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
