Premier Lanes Entertainment Center

Premier Lanes Entertainment Center

Reviews Summary

Premier Lanes offers a mixed experience with strong polarization in ratings. Many praise its family-friendly atmosphere, clean facilities, fun cosmic bowling, and helpful staff. Positive reviews highlight the arcade, bar, and good food. However, consistent complaints include broken arcade games, poor maintenance (greasy equipment), rude staff, pricing issues, and unreliable service (lane availability, incorrect hours). Multiple 1-star reviews cite terrible customer service experiences, while 5-star reviewers emphasize enjoyable outings. The venue seems ideal when everything works properly but frustrating when facing operational or staff challenges. Daytime visits appear more positive than evenings.

Worst experience ever. Called the day before to get pricing and the girl told me it was 35 per person for an hour , when it's 35 a lane for an hour. As soon as we got our lane it was messed up and it took them forever to fix it after having to go up to the desk several times So we lost about 30 minutes of our bowl time and asked many times for them to put more time on our clock and did not do it. Had to go to the front desk and ask a different person after being told four times he would get the manager to

we had a larger group tonight and the staff at premiere lands were gracious hosts as always! if there was a problem they solved it right away! always good and spacious for the whole family to enjoy. lots of food options at the cafe and some arcade games to play as well! go spend a night at the lanes, you won't regret it.

The bowling was good, although they didn't have the lazer lights and we went late just for the lights. The food and drink bar was good. The arcade was pretty much out of order. Very disappointing because it left little to do while waiting for a lane for bowling. They should reinvest some of the profit and get this place back up and running nice.

Great for work groups, birthdays or just an outing with just a couple of people. They have a private room. The bar is great and the food is not to bad either. They also have cosmic bowling that is pretty cool for the teens. The outside area is fantastic on a spring night for relaxing. It has a small arcade but keeps the little one occupied.

Had a good time with my husband and family. My grandbaby loved the arcade and it wasn't too expensive to bowl during the day.

Consistent shot on the lanes. They were playing classic rock when i was there. My kind of place.

This is a fantastic place to come and bowl! We went with a large group and the service was incredibly friendly, the establishment was in great shape, and it is always fun coming here!

Really enjoyed taking my family of 6 to bowl and play at the arcade. Many of the games weren't operational but there are many others to enjoy. Around $100 dollars bought us 2 games of bowling and $50 of arcade cash. PS: My son was talking trash so i dropped his bumper guards ?????????

We always love hanging out with the fam here. The arcade and bar/grill lend itself to more than just your avg bowling alley.

Little pricey but, great place with food, drinks, bowling and games.

This was the poorest of service I've had to spend 800 for 1 hour of bowling then the pizza was cold and the room was cold call to tell you about and all you can say is that what it cost and you added a tip to it that raw I'll never go Back and spend that amount and don't get the service to equal what I paid for

Great clean place to spend some time bowling with friends and family. Bowling prices seemed reasonable.

Great bowling alley, but unfortunately really expensive. I had two adults and a five year old and it cost $36 for one hour of bowling. We spent another $25 in the arcade and $25 for snacks. Many arcade machines were out of order. Several food items weren't available. The place was really clean and the staff was very friendly, however. But $86 for three hours of entertanment for a family of three... Wow, that's expensive!

Very nice, spacious, and new looking alley with a friendly staff. Everything was organized and clean. The bartender was great. Large game room.

great place , great environment.

This place looked to be fun at the onset built the pins were slllllllooooooow to reset. I mean like 1-2 minutes sometimes. We also had two errors on our lane and we waited minutes and it continued to countdown. It was so frustrating. The balls were also full of nicks and divots. I'm not professional by any means but generally if I'm trying I can get close to 100. The music was fire and they had $3 Jell-O shots.

Me and my friends had the best time enjoying bowling here!! I guess it was a bit pricey since we were there on a friday night! Still loved it and loved it more when the lights changed at night!! Felt like we were in a pub ??

Terrible customer service. Refused to let us bowl after paying

We were not able to slide on our lane like you should. Lane was sticky. Lane 5 slow to return your ball. Electronic scoring is awesome! Arcade is a disaster. Very few machines work. Employees were cordial and the facility was clean. Family friendly.

Nice fun place. Drinks are super strong. Popcorn yummy and nachos were very good.. i wish they had pool tables

You would think if you already you already paid for an hour, you could add a little more time, but I didn't seem to matter. What's more important is the waiting list. I wasn't happy about the time starting immediately after payment. By the time we got our shoes, balls, and got to our lane, 10 minutes already went by. You would think your hour starts once your names are in the computer, but that wasn't the case. They did give us back the 10 minutes, so we were able to finish our game, so that earned them the

We had an awesome time! Thank you!

Took the family there recently, and we had a great time. The staff were nice and helpful and the facilities looked clean and well maintained.

Great time, though you'll have to make a reservation. The wait time is usually 2 hours or so. Bowling alley was clean, loud with music and laughter, and was a fun way to spend a Saturday night

Called ahead to confirm the hours around 9 pm and was told they closed at 11. Showed up at 9:45 to locked doors. Was able to get someone on the phone to be told they had closed early. I drove down from Memphis to hang out with some friends for a Monday night I haven't seen in a while so it's just overall really disappointing.

It's a fun family place I just don't like that the college students can just over run it drinking and being rude and the games are a little dated. Wow how times have changed, the place is really run down dusty and dirty. The shoes look like my rottweiler been chewing on them and just all run over time for them to do some major cleaning. Oh the restrooms made even me as a man just wait to go home.

Premier Lanes is the spot!!!!! Simply love it, it is so fun and exciting. There is much to do. Just a place where I love to go, anytime. All the employees are very nice and respectful, who wouldn't want to be in a environment like that. Great!! Premier Lanes keep up the good work ??

Well, they bowling. Like bowling is the bowling alley for you thank you have a great day.

Kids Bowl Free summer program makes regular trips here more doable. They don't take reservations, so when students are back it can be difficult to get in without waiting 1-2 hours.

Torn on this review. Everything cost a dollar in the arcade nearly and the games are rigged. Some of the games won't register high ticket scores, but instantly registers 5 or 10 tickets. Half of the games broken and out of service. It's too expensive for them to rig games and for half the games to be broken.

Was there for a birthday had a blast staff was amazing definitely recommend to any one

The bowling is fun but one of the girls on staff was a buzz kill. Getting her to do anything for us was like pulling teeth. Thankfully, halfway through playing, they had a shift change and the other young lady who took her spot was very polite and courteous. The whole place is very clean and the food is good, albeit a little pricey.

Half the games out of order, and the rest of the games were malfunctioning, the lane we bowled at broken down ( lane 9) I went there to take my kid for a birthday treat, and the only reason I didn't make a scene was because I didn't want to spoil my kids good time. We won't be back!!! And I advise anybody trying to plan a good time , stay away!!!

We always have a great time here. Even short staffed the day we went, there still was practically no wait. Very family oriented, and who doesn't love to have a good time in a clean place!!!

Went for a pizza bowl and after waiting 40 minutes asked them to check on pizza. After twenty more minutes was told they were busy with vips. Made us feel pretty small. Very disappointed. Not sure what makes you an important customer. Not sure what criteria they use.

Was lots of fun great staff but was a lil expensive, half the arcade machines were broken, when we finally got to bowl we only got 2 of the 3 rounds we paid for and worst was the very rude manager (like I said most of staff was great) she came by told us to put mask on as I'm picking mine up she tells us again after I get my half on my toddler shoves a fry at me and I remember I don't need one when eating before I finish thought she comes back and rudely says ma'am put on your mask so I rudely point out I'm

Great folks with friendly service. Clean family atmosphere. Even when computer issues ran rampant, they figured out a way to make me happy. Always enjoy the experience.

Music was too loud and the music selection was terrible and definitely not family friendly. Staff members seemed like they hated their jobs and were bored to near death. The equipment had no functioning issues but the selections of bowling balls were fair to mediocre. Overall I give it a three star rating because it wasn't good but it wasn't horrible.

Loud but a fun time??

We arrived at 11:15, the cashier offered 1hr or we could do 1.5hr?s. We wanted to see if we could handle and hour. He said no problem! You can do an hour and if you want to do the thirty minutes afterwards if you still want to bowl then you can. We just can't sell more time than the time we close. 12:17 I approach the counter to do another 30 minutes. I was told no?? And he was actually pretty damn rude about it. I question and said well I was told that we could if we weren't tired and still wanted to bowl.

The kids are getting to bowl free with shoe rental. They have a lot of fun and something to do for the summer. The staff was awesome and very friendly but watch about going during lunch time because food is expensive

Most of the arcade games were out of service and the ones that worked didn't work properly. It would be a fun place if all the games worked and parents would learn how to control their kids from beating on the machines. Prizes are for mostly 7 and under.

This place is amazing!! I went with a group, and everyone had an amazing time! I'll definitely go back.

Fun. Friendly staff. Always clean and pleasant environment. Wish there was security as there are always little people going here and there. No security is always a concern to me any place where there are small children.

Went to go bowling on 2/19/23 party of 6 Checked the website first to make sure we could bowl the website said that we could come bowl no indication on the web site that we couldn't or of any bowling league going on at the time drove a hour to go bowl with the get to the bowling alley and they tell us that we couldn't bowl until after 6pm they told us nothing they could do so we left so very disappointed in Premier Lanes I'm Oxford ms you should be ashamed of yourself and post on your website and on Faceboo

I refuse to wear a mask and since you guys are so scared of something that has a 99% survival rate, you don't need my hard earned money and you should just close your doors to the public instead of instilling fear!!! GET A CLUE!!!! I'm visiting from TX where we no longer ha e a mask mandate and our numbers are dropping considerably....WOW!!! why is that?

Bowling! Kinda expensive. Come on $50 for a frame of Bowling??

This is the second time to bowl here. We were not very happy. First, when you walk in and pay, your time starts. By the time we got our shoes and entered our names, 9 mins of our "bowling time" we paid $30 for was gone. So, don't tarry getting your shoes and bowling balls. Also, if you are a small woman with small hands, consider another facility. They don't allow anyone except children to use the 7 or 6 balls. They keep them behind the counter, and Scotty is all too thrilled to come take one away fr

The overall experience for my future step son was excellent but the laser maze has been down every time we have tried to.go for the last 6 months.

This place is absolutely amazing..it was my first time at a bowling alley.. Haha will you believe..I won at a bowling game too..(Beginner's luck I guess) Also I'm a huge fan of arcade games and voila.. they have those too.. so yeah I'm definitely going to be a regular here ????

Summer hours start at 11:00 am. Family entertainment bowling, all computerized scoring, full bar for adult beverages as well as good food choices, and an arcade for kids. A fun place to spend some time and money.

Great BBQ nachos, awesome atmosphere, good prices. $40 for one hour for three people including shoes. They have specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays also.

Place itself is ok, but the kids working there leaves something to be desired. If you like paying $7 for a regular hotdog then this is your place.

Great time, prices weren't too high. I'm definitely going again. They have many specials, check the specials of the day to plan your trip.

Probably the worst $50 I've spent my whole trip here. We came bowling to have fun with our kids, but my 15 year old couldn't have bumpers because she's to old, seriously at home it don't matter how old you are you can have bumpers. Then the lanes are so greasy we had to use napkins every single time a ball came back because the ball was covered in grease and nobody cared. The employees can't help with anything because they are too busy standing around talking. Horrible experience overall wouldn't recommend

Awesome place.. Just 1 complaint and that is the approach is DRY and will break ur ankles or twist ir back when releasing ur ball.. WAX THE APPROACH PLEASE

Horrible. The bowling alley was covered in grease and so were the balls.I had to wash my hands twice to get the grease off and I still feel like its on my hands and clothes. Also I asked for bumpers because im not very good at it and they wouldn't let me because im 15 which is too old and the off limit is 14. 10 out of 10 would NEVER recommended to anyone especially if you have children who put their hands in their mouth.

Great place to take the kids for a night out. The arcade has plenty of games, but depending on when you go they may not be in service.

Took drink away from twin brother who is 22 because he didn't have ID (which fair enough) but then still charged me for it (seems like you can't have it both ways) also had camera in bathroom pointed at stall which is hella creepy

Awesome service! Great family environment! Had my daughter's birthday here, they were on top of everything.

I enjoy spending time with NY family, we had a blast and the nice young gentleman that worked there took pictures for us.

The kids had fun but always go as a big group

Fun place to take kids on a warm or cold day. If you want food make sure you order right away, because service is slow

We took our son for his birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed himself. Staff was attentive and helpful.

Fun for all ages. Kids to adults. They also have a small ramp for kids to place the bowling ball on to guide it down the aisle. This was awesome for my four year old.

We loved it the children and the adults are entertained. The staff was very friendly and went above and pawn to accommodate us

A bunch of spineless cowards that run this place!! We were refused service for our daughters birthday. I will never be back and will make sure I never recommend this place to anyone else.

Had fun time. Didn't know that after eight they dim lights and the black lights come on. Had a pattern on the bowling lanes that was neat.

Great location. Bowling alley was nice. Only downside was many games in arcade were broke and not in service.

It was our daughter's birthday and we were hoping to take her bowling but was refused service because we didn't have masks.. they didn't make us wear masks about a month ago.

Was really nice when it opened, but this time the arcade was a disappointment... Lots of broken games & Lazer tag was closed. Bowling alley looks okay still.

Didn't have pizza for a number of people had to go to dominos was noisy to but kids had a good time playing games

The website says they are open until 12 but when I went in at 10:05 they said they don't rent lanes past 10. Why would that be if I could rent a pen for an hour and still leave an hour before they close. Makes no sense. Also it was a Friday night with nothing to do.

We had a party of 8 and we had a great time. The wait was 1.5 hrs but the kids had fun in the arcade.

Customer service is top notch at this facility. Didnt get a name but the lady at the register was superb, very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended

Great place to go with the family and on Tuesday and Thursday they have 2$ games. All around great experience and highly recommend it for a family outing!

Turned off with 30 min left horrible service was told to leave by manager and got cussed at by manager And my friend mom about woulped her (she's not a Karen the coolest person ever btw) will not take my business here ever again horrible I mean horrible experience

DJ has the absolute best costumer service; such a warm-hearted and understanding manager! The bowling, bar, and arcade are all excellent, too.

Ok the games are over priced and the shoe guy is rude.

We had a blast and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly

Terrible we payed for two hours it cut out and some blonde lady was disrespectful to my mom and she's not a Karen this is horrendous will not be taking my to there ever again I'd rather listen to scratching noises on a chalkboard than go again terrible business no experience

Love this place! Good food, friendly bartenders, and a guaranteed good time. Only bowling alley in Oxford, but would definitely recommend.

We have a loud family but they were kind and respectful i would go again

Really nice place to bowl! Super clean too.

Wearing shoes have always been optional. Went last week and they told us no shoes. 1 star.

Enjoyed but reserve or plan on waiting an hour to play.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
