Point Burger Bar

Point Burger Bar

Reviews Summary

Point Burger Bar receives mixed but generally positive feedback, averaging around 3.5-4 stars. Burgers are often described as decent but inconsistent—some are dry or overcooked, while others are flavorful and well-seasoned. Service varies widely, with some staff praised for being attentive and friendly, while others report slow or rude service, especially during busy times. The beer selection and alcoholic shakes are highlights, along with unique menu items like chicken pot pie and mozzarella wonton sticks. The arcade and game room add family-friendly appeal, though prices are considered high for the quality. Cleanliness and staffing issues occasionally detract from the experience. Overall, it’s a solid spot for casual dining with standout moments but room for improvement.

Bloody mary- need more kick and spice 7/10 Rodeo burger- good overall, a sweet bbq sauce. 7/10 Chicken Pot Pie- Need more crunch on the crust 6/10 Cowboy burger- NA- didn't try this one Hugh place. Plenty of parking. There's an arcade room too. 6.5/10

Loved the small game room. The food was good. I had perch fish fry. Husband had burger. Good tater tots. Prices are higher, and it's a half-hour drive for us, so we probably won't come back here too often.

Food was delicious. Our waitress Brittany was kind and we had tons of fun in the arcade.

One of favorite places to go after church on Sunday. Great food. Good price. Portions that are more than adequate for a small to super sized appetite. Always available seating. Fun games and entertainment. Service and people who work there are very nice but the service sometimes can also be slow depending on the number of help (Sundays may have less staff earlier in the day). Fabulous fried pickles and French onion soup! Awesome salads and wraps! Take out it good as well.

My wife and I really like this place. We live by the Lake, but have a lunch there every time we are in the area. The quality and variety of food is remarkable. Great assortment of beer, very nice atmosphere. It looks like the locals come to this restaurant often to celebrate or simply gather to enjoy a good, family time.

The server was extremely friendly and welcoming! They have a cool build your burger option! There is a large game room! Very nice patio area outside! The food was very fresh tasting and I loved they had vegan options ??

My kids left so happy! Michael in the arcade was so attentive and helpful! When we had a little trouble with a game, he was right there to make sure we got all of our points and made my son so happy, especially since he opened up the game so we could see the inner workings. Amazing personal attention. Such a fun experience!

Delicious food and not a bad price point. Stop in have some food and then go to the later tag or go karting for some family fun

2 stars because the bar experience was fine. The rest awful. We arrived at 7:00 pm and the hostess told us there was a 25 minute wait no problem. Went to the bar had a beer all good. Ordered an appetizer pretzel all good. We then were seated waited 1/2 an hour NO ONE came to our table. Other tables were seated and waited on. After 1/2 an hour we took our empty beer bottles back to the bar where we were told they are very short staffed. We get that but no one even bothered to acknowledge us. Can't remember t

Went for dinner on a Sunday, and the place was at about 15 percent capacity. The wait staff was attentive, prompt, and friendly. Rating service a 3 though because we had to ask 2 times for napkins and silverware, and one of the two Build Your Own burgers was missing one of the requested ingredients. That said, once everything was resolved, the food was good. The atmosphere was fine, but nothing special during our visit.

This place has the best sound track ever!!! We really enjoyed the mix of music in the background. The service was a little slow but it was okay. The food is mediocre. I think the quality is standard for the price. However, 95% of the toppings are extra. For a plain burger with no toppings is over $10. That does not even include fries. At first glance it seems reasonable but most toppings are at least a dollar. The fries were soaked in soybean oil. Gross! The arcade had a lot of broken games which was dis

Food rating: I couldn't even say. Me and my group ordered literal appetizers. Chicken nuggets, a salad and some hot wings. We waited 43 minutes and our food still hadn't come out while others who ordered full on meals and came in after us had gotten their food. We cancelled our order, paid for our drinks and just left. Service: Only reason I gave it 1 star was because of a singular waitress who was handling multiple tables. She was sweet and understanding of our situation. But the other's were very snooty

We love this place! The burgers are best! And the staff very friendly and thoughtful!!! My kids love the game room. Even though it's small, it has pretty good games for all ages!

We went for early supper around 4pm. We were seated at a booth in the bar as we requested. We moved to another booth as the table hasn't been cleaned off from the previous customers. There was one table of 4 and one patron at the bar. Service was good. Our server was pleasant and informative; helping us decide what beverage to order. We didn't have to wait too long for the food. Haystack onion rings were good but very greasy and just warm. Burgers and fries were good, again just warm, but nothing spect

This was our 1st time there. We were there for my husband's company Christmas party & we had a Blast! The food was great, my husband & I are Vegan & had the Impossible burger, sweet potato fries & my husband had regular. His company had appetizers also, we had the salad which was really good & everyone said the other items were really good too! Great place, we will be back ??

We have been here before and have loved it. Came back tonight after quite a while. We asked for our burgers medium rare. They were both well. Our server took them back. She was told they have different meat now and if they remade them, we wouldn't like them. Mine was dry, rubbery and not seasoned. My husband asked for a different sandwich. We waited longer for that than the two burgers!! Server said the sandwich was on her which was appreciated. Won't be back.

We got there at about 8 pm on Sunday. We had an order of chicken wings as an appetizer. I ordered the Ruben sandwich with onion rings, and my wife Stephanie ordered the point burger with steak fries. It was fairly quiet in the restaurant. The one end of the eating area had the wall covered with beer barrels with the names of different beers that they have sold. The food was very good, but I don't know why they let me get onion rings with my Ruben.

Great set up to watch sports. Food was great, cooked to order. Service was good but staffing levels seem low for wait staff-they work their butts off!

Came in for a work dinner. The burger was great. The beers were better. The service was pretty slow. Overall a pleasant experience. Great for families has an arcade for kids.

We sat at the bar. The waitress was super rude to us. She was the meanest waitress Ive ever had. She also put her fingers in the glass and refilled our drinks. We Had to ask the manager to ask for new drinks. There's nothing that could make a night out with Friends go bad, but this was close would never go back there. Although the food was good.

Conveniently located right off of hwy 94. We stopped for my niece's 9th bday lunch. She loves burgers. The restaurant had just opened so no issues parking or getting a table. We opted to sit outside. The build your own burger menu is pretty nice. So many options from the bun to the kind of meat used. They also offer burgers on their menu for around $15 each. I tried the mediterranean salad. It was pretty good overall. The chicken pieces could have been a little larger and the salad size could be smaller. I

Went here for lunch, the food was good, I had the "shroom" burger and tots. Service was very fast, and the server was great. Very good selection of beers and ciders, though I was working so I wasn't able to try any.

The food was ok. Needed seasoning on the burger. The arcade was a rip-off. Games weren't registering our tickets that we won. The guy working said it was probably because we scanned our card too quickly after the previous player finished their game, so the tickets went to their card. Maybe stick to the bar and the shakes ?????

First time visitor from Texas and I wasn't blown away. I had the Cheese Curds as an appetizer and they were good but portion size was a bit disappointing. They were only 5.95 so I guess I shouldn't expect a lot. The Point Burger with home made chips was my entree choice. My opinion for the burger and chips was the same, better than average with great potential. The bun was toasted very well however it was obviously prepared much earlier and the bread was stale, hard, and cold. The meat patty was cooked and

Food is decent, with a good menu. I enjoy the burgers, soup, and shakes the best! Great choice of beer too. The service is just mediocre, but I've never had a bad experience. We spend time in the arcade area either while we wait for our food or after eating. The game area is very clean and there is a good variety of games to choose from. The weekends can be busy. For the arcade, you load points on a game card, and games can cost anywhere between 6 to 12 (maybe more) points. I think this has gone up in the p

Was recommended by another bar as the best burger in town. Point burger extremely dry and a rueben with zero flavor waited 20min for service with no customers inside then waited another 20 minutes for the bill with nobody inside but the salad was good

We went Saturday night and didn't have a good experience. The bartender and wait staff did all they could but they were severely understaffed. We waited more than 20 minutes at the bar for service (only one bartender for very large, full bar). Our food took 90 minutes. The staff was apologetic but said the kitchen also didn't have enough people to keep up. The place was very dirty with many tables full of old food.

Food was decent. Fries were great as was the beer. My burger had two tiny pieces of shredded cheese so I thought it was missed and when they brought it back I and said they added cheese and it was still missing. I was then told it had the right amount on it originally with only two pieces of shredded cheese and whether I still wanted it or did not want a burger. Was a bad experience unfortunately. Rest of the meal and other meals were good.

Arty was an outstanding server. Our needs were met with just the right amount of attention and her attitude made us feel welcome. Great job Arty!!

Truly an interesting location with even a more interesting menu. My wife had the chicken pot pie and it was HUGE about 10 inches in diameter and I had one of their specialty burgers. Both were very good and we would order them again. We were not aware that Ward's Steak house owned this location. We have been to Ward's many times and I would say the quality of the food and the service are excellent.

The mozzarella wonton sticks were great with the marinara dipping sauce! The game room was fun and affordable to kill some time with my 9 year old son too!

Amazing place to eat really good burgers and wraps and there tater tots are to die for. They have an arcade attached and the service is amazing there to. So much fun for the family to have a really fun time out.

Service was on point, food was delicious. Burger was great, plenty of options at a reasonable price.

Good bar burgers, nice selection and friendly staff. First visit, was impressed with the draft beer list. The burgers are either build your own or the chefs burgers as is. Food came out quickly and tasted awesome. Very pleased, will be back.

Appreciated how hard the waitstaff was hustling and super friendly to get everyone served, our server was so warm and friendly, wish I recalled her name. It's clear they are understaffed so had extra patience and empathy for that. Food was good. My biggest concern is that the staff wasn't working as a team it seemed; and they didn't set their wait staff up for success. What I mean by this is they sat big parties without silverware, napkins, side plates etc. leaving everything to the server who had multiple

Point Burger Bar was just okay. I was not expecting the chicken bites to just be grilled chicken drenched in sauce, nothing to write home about. Burger was average at best. Place overall was a little dirty and outdated? booth had crumbs all over, ketchup bottle at the table had ketchup all over it and there was ketchup on the walls. Waitress did her best as they were very understaffed. Asked multiple times and multiple people if I could have some mayo - my burger had no sauce on it.

Excellent craft beer selection (Alpha King) and I love the option to create my perfect burger. Daughter and I enjoyed the arcade afterwards followed up with a delicious ice cream dessert. Also good place to go watch sports. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Already have been back a few times!

Took our kids today and about 10?ish minutes of waiting, our waitress came back to tell us that a large crowd came in just before us and therefore our food would take significantly longer than normal. Ok, fine. Thanks for the heads up. When we got our food the bacon on my BLTA was RAW! Just about every piece. The chicken bites we ordered were cold and not even browned. I never expect greatness from this place but today was so bad we will not be going back.

My Burger Breakdown - Patty was grilled very well - Patty potentially mildly under salted yet well seasoned otherwise - Tomatoes very fresh - Pickles had the perfect flavor - Lettuce was fresh but was a type that was not very crispy which I believe did not pair the best with the burger

Very nice pub restaurant & gameroom. I had to prime rib sandwich, it was delicious. Prices are reasonable and portions are large.

I drive past this location and the Milwaukee location ALL the time but finally decided to stop here in Pewaukee today. We ordered carry out, we had no idea it was a sports bar/game room type of atmosphere. Honestly expected it to be like a burger frozen custard type place. I ordered a Cajun grilled chicken sandwich and my girlfriend ordered a veggie burger with fries. Our food was ready in about 15 min as they stated and everything was pretty good. The only thing I noticed was that my grilled chicken had a

Cold beer. Great selection. Music was too loud. Service was WI sassy...

Went to order take out and there was one bar tender and she totally ignored me for fifteen minutes like I wasn't even there. I really wanted a burger but that was absolutely ridiculous service when she could see me sitting there.

I have been here twice. The burgers are really good. TRY the bison and lamb burger, they're great! Average price is $10-$15. If you go for lunch or dinner try the Cajun macaroni and cheese, it is delicious! If you just want a classic burger, go to Culver's. The fries are good and well seasoned. I did get a batch of over cooked onion rings. Overall nice place, great game room, and good food.

Great food and good beer selection, interesting looking game area. There is a large bar area when you walk in with plenty of TVs as well as a ding room area with TVs and a large side room that looks as if could be rented for large parties. I went there last night and had a beer and burger, I had the point burger and it was pretty good. The one thing that I have to say is that they nickel and dime over every little topping at this place so take a look at the specialty burger section because you might save

Our group checked in at 7:00 pm for our 15 top with a reservation at 7:15... I am writing this at 8:15 I still have yet to receive the beer I ordered at 7:30. Remember our reservation was at 7:15... The most interaction I had with my waitress was her yelling at us while running past us. I can't understand a word she said. Shout out to the manager in the red sweater and the sweet waitress who helped take over Edit: It started off rough, but its clear we caught them at a bad time. The food was good, manager

This place has the best alcoholic shakes I have EVER had. Caramel Apple is my favorite. Of course, Point Brewery is one of the best out there, so everything on tap is great. Burgers can be a little expensive for what they are, but they're always delicious. Not to mention, the attached arcade makes this place perfect for date night ???? Love to hit this place during happy hour for $3 taps.

The burgers are good..amazing no. Been there a few times and the burgers are just...ok. However, if you want a great salad they have amazing salads on the menu. I've tried them all and for a burger place they use mixed greens and build one tasty salad. They are sizable. Salads so good I have ordered "to go" several times. (chef salad pictured)

The mozzarella sticks are awesome, the chili cheese fries are tasty and the BBQ boneless bites are tasty. The cheese curds were ok. Definitely going back to try other stuff

Normally a pretty decent place, but having a hostess seat us at a table during a pandemic where the table clearly shows it is not in use and not distanced from others is a real concern. It took nearly 10 minutes since being seated and we had to flag down a manager to e en get service. If you are not ready for people to come to your establishment, then maybe you shouldn't be open. An hour later, a 2nd time flagging down the manager and we finally got our food. But not all of us, only 3 of 4 of the party

Great atmosphere. Fast service. Average burger. Old and dry bun. ?? Overpriced for a Burger that does NOT wow you!

The hostess and waitress were very friendly. We were seated promptly. The waitress took our orders right away and the wait for our food was reasonably short. The restaurant and bathroom were very tidy and well kept. The atmosphere was fun, and the food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the Root Beer.

Average food for an insane cost. Lots of great beer options and a cool atmosphere however not worth the price tag.

Awesome food. We had a company Christmas party there and chose a buffet option. The food was all delicious. Sliders, taco dip, spinach and artichoke dip, mozzarella sticks, chicken bites, and fried cheese curds were all awesome choices.

This place is even better than before! The food is amazing!!! If you can't find something on the menu you want, you can build your own burger to your liking! They are also very good about watching for allergies, gluten intolerance, and veggie options, the salads are AMAZING! Just ask your server if you need some help navigating the menu! Also check out the specials menu. There are some great things on it happy hour is also EXCELLENT! Watching Packer games is a ton of fun because they do a raffle and shots

The food is okay and the service I've had has been good and not so good. They have a fun game room which you can get card packages for. The giant stuffed animal claw machine it's always a big attraction for my children. They have a good size bar as well as televisions everywhere to watch almost any sport. They have their own Point Beer selections as well as other brands. Overall a fun place to take the family but it can get a little pricey.

The food was OK. The service was just OK. The dinning area was clean. A few in our party complained it was too cold.

Burgers are very good and the service is great. A little pricey if you build your own burger as all the toppings are ala cart but food quality is good. Good beer selection with nice rotations seasonally. Not the least expensive place to go, especially if you let the kids play in the game room. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Family friendly place, large bar area and separate dining area. Wide selection of beers, not just Point brews. Good food, kids meals come served on a frisbee which the kids get to keep. Pictured is the club wrap.

Everyone loved their meals. Will bring kids next time for the awesome arcade and go karting. Building my own impossible vegan burger was the best part! Thanks!

Group of 16 of us, came right from go carting next door, I asked the waitress to bring water for each person, she refused stating she'd bring water only for those who requests water.... why? No response. Burger was fine. We asked for sriracha, the sriracha had been mixed with a barbecue sauce it was sweet and was not 100% sriracha also had a dark color..... seriously you cant fool an asian person. 14 asians. I asked about the sriracha she stated it hadn't been mixed with anything. Customer service 6/10. Foo

First took nearly 20 mins waiting for any service. Followed by waiting over an hr and a half waiting to not even get the food. While watched customers around us get their food. Even though they had gotten there up to an hr later than us.

Fantastic bison burger, highly recommend. We had 4 drinks each along with our meals and one appetizer. We spent about 100 between 2 people, the bison burger being the most expensive.

Super slow service. Ignored at the bar. Not enough wait staff. Small portions. Overpriced.

Good burgers and tater tots. I had the carmel peanut alcoholic milkshake, very good. I'll be coming back here to try some of the other burgers. I had the prime rib burger which was basically a Philly cheese steak on top of the burger. Meat overload! Loved it.

We hosted our son?s 7th birthday party at PBB yesterday with 14 kids. We planned it in advance with their manager team and were able to rent the private room, which worked out great. The package included pizza, soda, and game cards. We were able to bring in decorations and a cake. Shelby was our waitress, and she did a fantastic job despite the kid chaos! My son said ?the arcade was really fun and the guy working in there was so nice to me and made my birthday feel special.? How great is that?! 5 stars.

Stopped in day before a wedding. Only sat at the bar, didn't see the game room, but I could hear plenty of screaming kids back there. Got a Rodeo Burger with fries, both were absolutely delicious. Also bought a shirt. In the unlikely event I'm in Waukesha again, this place is most definitely on the agenda.

First time going to Point Burger Bar after hearing about it from many people. Sat at the bar, had a blast the bartender he was fantastic, great personality and fun! Will definitely be back!

Food was decent beer was good service was ok. Got a growler and it was 3/4 full and beer was flat because of it. I called and requested a refund and was told by Jack Holt, General manager that no one has ever requested a refund before. I could receive a gift card or another growler fill (my experience was bad, why would I want to duplicate it). My only other option was to take the loss. Terrible business practice. Definitely will not go to either point burger bar locations in the future.

Every single time we order take out from here, I arrive when they say it will be done (usually 30-45 minutes after ordering), and EVERY time I wait a half hour minimum. I am convinced they don't even start making the order until you arrive. And this is paid in advance. Update.... When I actually got him, one of our orders was missing the top of the bun. Is it even worth calling?

I don't recommend having your food delivered. GrubHub was AWESOME. But Point Buger Bar left a lot to be desired. We ordered thru GrubHub at 7:20 p.m. &received a message that the restaurant received the order & it would be delivered between 7:54 and 8:09. At 748 we got a message Your order is delayed and will now arrive between 8:18 PM and 8:33 PM. We're doing everything we can to get it to you ASAP. At 8:08 GrubHub sent a message they were waiting for the restaurant to finish our order. 4 mins later we

As a UW-Stevens Point alumni, this place was nostalgic for me as I love point brewery. Great atmosphere, and our waitress was fantastic. She was attentive and kind, and our food was served quickly. She even came into the arcade to tell us our food was ready. We loved the arcade deals that come with the kids meal, made it really worth it for our kiddos birthday and he had a blast. There are a few reasons I gave it 4 stars, but I feel these are being nit picky. The place needed to be swept as I could see food

We went there last night for a birthday dinner and I am so beyond impressed with the service. Our waitress was absolutely incredible. We had a very large group and she was on top of everything. The food was great and it was a wonderful experience. 10/10

Amazing burgers and a flawless old fashioned. Perfect place to visit while in town.

The food was above average and good drinks. The place was dead on a Saturday night though which looked concerning. Overall I'd recommend it but not a regular place for me to go back to.

We arrived mid afternoon, not busy at all. Food (burger and prime rib sandwich) and service were mainly good, except for the beers. We ordered two seasonal beers, the first two beers we ordered, the waitress said they were out, we ordered two others. She came back with one of them and a random one because they were out of the third. I wasn't a fan of her selection, we drank it anyway. If 3 out of 4 were gone, I would imagine many more were gone too.

Great staff and an absolutely huge sports bar and arcade. The food isn't slacking either. The burgers are pretty great.

I tried a Greek burger. Was dry and not quite what I expected. My fries were cold. Our server was excellent and very attentive. We tried a boozy shake, and it was very good. Not a bad experience, but I guess I'm just not a big fan of their burgers.

Great beer selections, 24 rotating tappers! Good local beers, lots of big TV's for sports. Cute bartender

So 1st the food was pretty good. Burger I ordered was over cook a little but, it didn't bother me that much as it wasn't dried out. However, the sweet potato fries came out Luke warm. Server did offer to have them remade but, I declined as I didn't want to wait. Server was great. Very pricey. I don't get why the BYOB is sooo much more expensive then speciality one. And why do they charge for sides? 99% of places a side comes with the meal... They apparently do not accept the vanilla gift cards cause mine wo

My Granddaughter who lives in Nashville sent me a Hamburger for my birthday. Point Burger instead sent me a Cheeseburger. When I called Point Burger they read back the order. a Hamburger with no lettuce Tomato or Pickles. I told the lady that I am allergic to Dairy and there was no way I could eat this. She told me to take it up with Uber Eats there's nothing she can do. I strongly would not waste my money with Uber or Point Burger.

Two burgers ordered medium, both came out well done and dry. They were also squished and the patty was separated likely from being squished down. Good flavor on the burger. Sweet potato fries had sugar on them, they were really gross. The fries and haystacks onions were really good. Our server was really nice.

Looking for the best burger in town? This is the place. Don't waste your time with the overrated Sobelmans. Point Burger has a larger selection, better atmosphere and is higher quality.

Service was great! Food was ok. Grilled cheese came out burnt.

Great service and able to accommodate large groups. Food is great. Build your own burger!

The food was epic! The beer was inventive but I'm not a huge beer fan. Great service. Loved it and will definitely return!

My husband and I have driven past this place numerous times and never dropped in to eat. Well we finally got the courage to stop in on April 6th. It was a little bit busy, but we were seated right away. I gotta say for a burger joint, it was pretty fricking good, nothing spectacular by any means. Also overpriced for what we got. Our waitress (Neisha) was outstanding. One of the best waitresses I've seen in a long time. She was helping other tables as well, but was very attentive and helpful with us. She sho

This was an accidental visit but it turned out to be an okay kind of bar & restaurant. I was able to fit in the outdoor patio. The ambience was pretty loud in the bar & dining room. I was surprised that the food menu was typical sports bar fare, but it was pretty pricey! I opted for the 8 oz portion of chicken bites at $8.95. The service is a bit on the slow side. The appetizer size was white meat, cubed & pan fried. Served with your choice of sauce & dips. The chicken was tender & not over cooked,

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
