This is a really fun bowling alley. The neon lights and the glow-up effect at night make the experience extra cool and exciting. Lanes were fine and worked well. We were there for a birthday party and the attendant for the party didn't attend to us much. Having to tracker her down to get what we needed was a damper on the party for the adults.

We have had parties here in the past and the service was great but the last 3 years in a row I've tried to schedule my son's birthday and either received a call back after the intended date or not at all.

I love this place. It's always amazing. My only problem is I'm trying to schedule to rent the VIP room but the person that was put in charge of it. I believe her name is Laurel called her a couple of times and still haven't heard a response from.

It is a Pricey bowling alley, you can expect that for the area. It's by the Mall. Accommodating staff and friendly. I've come here recently a few times and I seem to get stuck with High Friction / Dry Lanes when I practice. I bowled 3 games and had no oil rings on my reactive balls. I didn't shammy once.

Been going to Poelking lanes for almost a year now. South is home alley. The staff here is amazing from the main counter to the lounge to the food ! Lanes are always in great condition , clean bathrooms , staff are some of the best best! The Pro Shop has more than enough choices of bowling gear and if they don't have it , they can order it! The food service here is so cheap they even short you on your drinks. I asked for a large with no ice and they refused to fill it up.. they claimed its to account for the ice.. IT'S A FOUNTAIN DRINK.... I compared it to the next size down and thats where they fill it to. I paid for a large and got a medium.. and then the pizza was very very burnt and they refused to remake it saying the were to busy and the have no control of the pizza oven.. I guess good service is not a part of doing business anymore..

Amazing night, bowling. Very great relaxed vibe in the alley. Super clean environment lots of balls to choose from if you don't have your own fun night out with the kids date night or even go hang out with the friends must do if you're looking for a fun wholesome activity.

Always been a fun place to go bowl a few rounds, maybe play some video games and just unwind and have some fun. Very cool program brought about was students 15 years of age and younger getting to bowl two free games a day, excludes holidays and shoe rental. Showed up at 5:21 on a Friday for kids bowl free and the incompetent manager, Tom, and employee, Jack, would not honor Kids Bowl Free that on the coupons and app says are good today from open-6pm. They absolutely refused to honor the games without ?the button on the cash register? allowing it. Great adult, young adult, and family atmosphere. Beautiful wood bar with a pool table. The staff was all accommodating and polite. Plenty of seating for larger groups but cozy enough for date nights. Also had a great arcade to keep my kids occupied for a spell or two.

My son bowls several tournaments and we never had as much issues with the Lanes EVER!!! Was traveling thru.June 2024. From Florida. Decided to go bowling. We are league bowlers here in Florida. Only problem hard to find a ball that was a good fit. The 3 of us bowled 3 games. The girl behind the counter wish I got her name. She was super. Gave us amazing deal 3 games each with shoe rental 39 bucks. Great deal. Even got good deal on bucket of beer. Not use to these lanes. But we will be back again. Seem really clean.

The place was just ok, the staff was kind, but the food was very expensive, no refills included!!! (we are in a bowling place, how you do that to people when you gonwith kids). I spent $150 between 5 lines and food. For 1 hour.

I am a varsity level bowler and I've been bowling here for a few years now and overall my experience was unpleasant. During my season our precious time would be wasted from technical issues with the ball return and would have to constantly wait for stuck balls. Called today to set up my kids birthday party for next weekend because when I attempted to 3 weeks ago they told me to call back a week in advance. The guy I talked to today laughed and said they have no availability next weekend at the time I wanted. Now we're stuck without a place for their birthday. Either the guy today was lying or the one three weeks ago just didn't want to do the work and set us up. Very disappointed in this place.

I don't know why but it is just as hot outside as it is inside the bowling alley. Could barely finish 3 games and my shirt was soaked. Come on it's not that expensive to turn the air on.

We went for a birthday party. The facility was clean. Employees were nice. We were having problems with our lane and they were quick to fix it. Since we were there early in the day, it wasn't busy so they had no problem with us using 2 ramps for two lanes for the little kids. Pizza was good but not cut all the way through. The kids loved the game room. They were very accommodating to replace tickets when the game didn't give any. Overall our experience was very good and we'd definitely go back.

We've been bowling at Poelking South multiple times over the years and have always had a good time. This week I have called twice about reserving a lane. The gentleman on the phone was short, rude, and gave conflicting information. He indicated we had to book more than 2 lanes. I said we would be willing to book and pay for 3 lanes. He then said we had to have atleast 20 people to reserve, which I said 20 people would not fit on 3 lanes. He was quite demanding about how many people we had in the party and r

Our lane had to be reset over 5 times. We also had problems because it turns out government issued IDs aren't accepted here, and despite the woman not knowing how to ring up a tap beer she said "I've worked here over 20 years, I know more than you" over the IDs. We also had problems with a dirty floor - there was fries from previous people left on the floor. It's a shame because it's not a bad establishment, but it has gotten worse since the past few years.

We used to go here all the time. I scheduled a birthday party for my two kids and paid a deposit. They were both just quarantined from school so we have to cancel. They won't refund me my deposit. They should of said it was non refundable when I paid it months ago. I cancelled with ample notice and it was a situation out of my control. I won't go here anymore out of principal. I did not book on the website or review a contract. It was over the phone and no mention of non refundable was reviewed with me.

Staff are amazing. Especially the bar staff. Beer selection pretty good. The lanes sometimes cause damage to your ball and they do not accept responsibility for the damage.

Came to this establishment to have a fun time with my family. Paid for two lanes and one was broken, we advised staff and was brought over a score card to keep score manually. We asked for and received a reservation for 4 families, 5 lanes, the weekend before Christmas. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They expedited our experience by including shoe rental for free. Lanes worked flawlessly. Bar service was a little slow for this crowded evening , but buying beer by the pitcher was very helpful.

Nice, if not older, location to take the family on an outing. Lanes and area around them were clean. Staff were quick to address issues of they arose. The lane UI was a little sluggish when registering players. Great experience overall.

Great place to get together with your family. The facility is pretty clean, there are other offerings that may cater to your alternate desires (bar, arcade, etc.). The service here is also excellent! Very friendly staff! While the facility itself is good, the rental balls here are in quite bad shape.... I highly recommend that you bring your own balls or something because the ones offered at Poelking Lanes are all beat up and just weird in general. I felt like half the balls were custom made throwaways.

We did a private party for my husband's work and they charged the group $1200 for 2 hours in this room. Granted, it comes with its own bar and private lanes (really nice area) but we were originally only supposed to be charged $700. The extra charge of $500 was for food (that should've been addressed prior) and we were rushed out. $1200 seems excessive for the room. I get costs for food but that's ridiculous, especially for some fried chicken and Pizza. Definitely would recommend just renting out some lane

Had a great time here! This is a retro looking bowling alley, you can tell it hasn't been updated, but I personally find that refreshing. It was clean and the staff was quick. Drinks weren't a bad price, and the bowling was reasonably priced as well. I'd go here again!

Big lady in glasses behind the bar is beyond rude and needs some serious customer service. Absolutely ridiculous the way she talks to the customers that give her business. Definitely will not be coming back if this is how your employees act. Definitely beware of this place, since customer service is something they can't understand.

For 1 game with shoe rental for my little one and I, it was $15 and some change, so not bad! The location is easy to get to with 2 turn ins. Staff has always been friendly and for the most part everything is pretty clean!

The display kept messing up, it would skip turns, rerack, give the next player your score, etc. And after going up to the front desk we over heard the employees say "oh good they're not coming back up here." As we walked by to the restrooms. Not very fun for $45.

It was cool very outdated. Needs a remodel for sure. The people making the food and drinks didn't have any idea what was going on and they were fighting in front of everyone. They need some help. This is still a great place for family fun and adult activeties combined. With rails up the kids the competition between the kids intensified and was a really exciting group activity. The bar served fresh beverages for adults and children and the available food was satisfying for all who ate. Staff were friendly very understanding with additional time to complete our games!

This was by far the best experience at a bowling I have ever had. The alley was very busy the entire time we were there. The staff were patient, knowledgeable and friendly. The concession stand staff is friendly, the shoe staff is great. Food is good and the lanes are well kept. Bathrooms are clean and you can watch sports and bowl at the same time! The staff is very patent with us with Special Needs, they never have been harsh to us.

The party/VIP area for our company's holiday party in 2023 was perfect. Private lanes, a large area for food and drinks ?? and room for our DJ.

Food has always been great. Prices are fair. Staff has always been nice and friendly, even during peek times, or when they encounter a difficult customer. Only once they where full, and I had to try another ally. Great place for kids and family.

Lanes are well maintained. There is a good selection of house balls, even when crowded. The snack bar has a good selection of bar style food which can be a bit slow arriving when you are in a hurry, but it is worth the wait. They have a nice all u can bowl for 90 min deal that includes shoe rental. And it is Dayton, so everyone there is friendly. ??
