Customer Reviews

Given this place more than a few chances, and the staff has been rude every single time. Needless to say, this is the last time I'll be spending my money there.

Denied entry to arcade because of my jacket......? On Sunday 10/27 around 1:30 AM I visited the Broadway location, showed my ID and asked for a ticket to the arcade. The person working then looked at me and said "you have a place to leave that coat?" and said I couldn't enter the arcade while wearing my jacket (it was a light jacket).....I'm not sure if this is an actual policy (if felt discriminatory) and if it is, it truly makes no sense in a city where it gets cold...

There is a new girl working here and she's is so amazing! Very friendly and helpful!

Had the pleasure of having Alex help us out. He was great and very funny

Came here and bought 4 products. Was over charged for 1 product that was listed at one price but paid a completely different price that I didn't notice until walking out the store going over my receipt. When I went back the worker told me I have to come back tomorrow when the manager fritz is in after I explained that I'm only in town for a night and staying near the airport (if you know this location you can imagine how far I would have to travel for a problem that isn't my fault) . Very unprofessional a

As a long time customer of pleasures I love this store, they have a big variety of products and helpful employees. They do ask for ID?s but if you simply ask why and what it's for they are more than welcome to explain I have no issue with them scanning mine but there is an option to not get it scanned which is also nice. It's very easy to spend a lot of money at this store but it's a great experience.

Paul at the Broadway store was incredibly helpful! Very knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality! He made it a great experience and I will definitely be back thanks to him! ????

Pluck this place! Made me show ID and scanned it into some system! I'm not creepy, homeless, or some kind of vagrant! The last time I showed up with a female friend they didn't pester us at all! Actually their customer service was unfriendly and disrespectful. I do not recommend this place. Take your shopping online! At least they aren't judgmental and condescending

Would give 0 stars if possible. The grey bearded guy is the rudest attendant I've ever encountered. I had been to this place a couple of times when I lived here and it was great. I came back after a year out and the costumer services has gone out the window to the point I felt verbally abused. You get yelled at by the person who should be making you feel comfortable in there. So disappointed with this place would recommend everyone to stay away.

The guy with the short dreadlocks, grey beard, and bandana sitting on the side of the register will literally look at you in a disrespectful way and judge you for the products you buy in the store. He looks like he's under the influence of drugs. The employees are not professional at all they're just very quiet, ignorant, judgemental and rude. When you're done buying your products on your way out you can literally hear them gossiping like kids. The place is miserable and full of bad vibes. Very condescendi

I would give 0 stars if possible. I'm not someone who typically writes reviews, but my friend and I had an awful experience here and I felt I should share with others. Firstly, the guy with the gray beard gave us a nasty look when we first walked in and rudely asked to see IDs. Whatever. We were walking around the store, and we had stopped in a corner to take a look at some products. The same guy then calls me a "little girl" to somehow try and get me to put my bag at the front desk to prevent theft or what

It can be intimidating shopping for personal products at a store like this. The gentleman who helped me (older grey hair) made me feel comfortable and confident in my purchases. I hadn't expected to buy other products that would compliment my original purchase, but I am thankful for his help and suggestions. It ended up enhancing my personal experience. The prices are high but the help in selecting the right product(s) is worth it. Thanks!

Went in with my partner to find something specific. When we came in we were initially ID?d which was fine. While we shopping the grey haired and bearded employee was staring us the whole time, which made us uncomfortable. We went to check out and the same employee was completely out of line. He commented on my partners appertained and was clearly under the influence of some sort of drug. He started asking me personal and antagonizing questions out of nowhere while my partner attempted to pay. He was extreme

Morning worker is the best I feel comfortable & not all embarrassed when he's working only thing is I get nervous & shy when I talk to him that I tried paying with my ID thinking it was my card but im too shy to ask for his number & get off track & accidentally looked down & just couldn't take my eyes off from staring at his big bulge it's just big & can't help not stare at it

This place gets a five star only based on the fact that the customer service there is so excellent they made me feel welcomed as in a friend to a friend deal/ transaction instead of a sales associate to customer but the arcade is extremely small and I feel like it can use a renovation too much floor space for videos I feel like can be utilized better with a couple more boots it does get quite busy because of location and again encouragement for the women would be advised as far as more comfortable to them p

The dude with the beard is the best! Not only did he talk me out of purchasing an inferior product that cost MORE than than the one I ended up buying, but the guy is hilarious. Not sure what his name is but he should be doing stand up comedy. I will be back?.with an audience. Kudos.

Wish I could give zero stars! My husband and I visited the store and the employee (didn't catch name.. grey hair and beard, older) complimented my dress when I walked in only to turn around 10 min later and ask me if my dress is just unflattering or if I was trying to steal something. I hadn't even picked up anything from any shelf so what exactly would I be trying to steal?!?!! I answered him that I must be wearing an unflattering dress and lifted it to show him that the only thing under it was my tutu and

MERLIN!! Cutest little dog greeted me as soon as I walked in the store and followed me around seemingly trying to talk to me the whole time. He's a great little salesman. He could?ve sold me anything. Staff was helpful and friendly but im going to return for the dog. What a sweetheart!!

great place for couples we had a lot of fun. bought and awesome toy that works great for $60 off the clerks recommendation. night guy was awesome it was like 3am and he was super nice and inviting and made the experience so much better. I would recommend to anyone who wants to have some sexy excitement in a safe environment, me and my lady will be back soon for sure and we hope we catch that same clerk again when we are back this way.

I've visited most of the metro locations and Broadway suites my needs. More variety and quality with a friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Very comfortable atmosphere. Any human old enough to be in there is welcome.

Stay away wow, would give zero if I could. Should stay closed at night if you don't want to sell stuff. Terrible service by night guy OMG , talk about hate your job Clearly a biased and off individual. Poor representation of so many things . Very sad first time experience won't be back . This guy clearly didn't want to be bothered by someone wanting to purchase items.

I've been here twice both very late/Early the staff has been excellent! They will answer any questions you have, but also let you have your space browsing. They have a variety of prices at every price point which I love. I already have a toy collection but sadly they're in a different state and so I just needed something on the cheaper side to get me by.

A customer came in acting a fool but the man at the front handed it quickly and professionally. He also helped me with recommendations on the best product. Great time will be back

What a disgusting place. I purchased nearly $200 in product, then got berated for being a ?liberal?. Avoid them at all costs, there are more inclusive stores who actually like their customers. Try Pleasures at the Park for someone who cares about their customers.

When I walked in they didn't ask for my identification but when my husband walked I they asked for it. Which is bazaar because I look younger but they made mistake because went and found another adult store and found so much more and they were much more welcoming and inviting.

This is a beautiful store and the manager is so knowledgeable and sweet! Whenever I walk in I'm always sold on something, I would give 10 stars if I could!

The staff is nice but the only reason I went to this location was because of jimmy and now he is gone boo? he was great, polite, and very respectful. Need to find another location now.

They say open 24 hr, but I have been in the parking lot from 3:00-3:45. You lost four sales in that time. If they have a lunch break, they should post here so that people are not waiting. Maybe they are asleep in there.

This was the worst experience ever the staff was extremely rude called my friend a fa***t and they had a dog inside . Will never return to this place, This is why I only shop at romantix because at least thier staff treats you like a person

great service. I always feel safe and welcome at this location and the employees always have a great recommendation for me and my partner when we're looking for something new.

When I go in I like to dress in women's clothes and the staff treat me like a regular customer and no one cares that I express myself.

Friendly. Liked the theater. Will go back

Place looks cool but no one appears to be there in the early early morning or late night. Never got to go in. And I called plenty of times and no one answered.

@Carrie Ann Alexander I think you can go by yourself I don't see why not but if you happen to need a person to accompany you feel free to message me Kik colowalker

I had a wonderful experience with Cecil. He's very knowledgeable, funny and a PLEASURE to talk to about various products.

Safe, clean, fun, and friendly staff always ready to help. Its a night away from all the other random homeless people in Denver.

check out my design on the mannequin at the front, Cleanest and Nicest preview booths / arcade I've ever seen. Lots of fun late night.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
