My son is 2.5 years old and he loved it here! Depending on how independently your baby moves, you may have to climb with them (I had his dad do it ??). He had lots of fun with all the different bounce houses and different slides! Prices are not bad at all, especially how things are now. The food is awesome. I love bar type food, and they have it all. ONLY reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because I was really hoping there would be a divider between the Littles area and the arcade. I can't quite keep up wi

We LOVE Playtime!! This is a fun place to bring, not only your kids, but the whole entire family. The toddler jump time twice a week is a great deal for the price. And with a full kitchen, they make fantastic food (try the pulled pork, it's smoked by the owners and delicious!) as well! They also offer ax throwing and laser tag, as well as mini bowling. Highly suggested!

We love Playtime Arcade and Bar! My kids always have a blast playing on all the bounce houses and play structures. The food is delicious and at great prices. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place. ??

Amazing place! Love bringing my son here for toddler time! Such an amazing staff and friendly environment, my son loves to jump, play games and win awesome prizes at the front desk. Foods also pretty yummy, especially the pulled pork nachos.

Decent little Arcade with mini bowling, Laser Tag, and Axe throwing. Several VR games as well as ticket redemption style games. Laser tag has two floors with plenty of room to spread out. regular game prices are a bit steep ($1.35 for skee ball,). but there is plenty of combo deals to choose from for games cards. Typical pub grub on the menu with prices you're actually ok paying. Happy hour and beer bucket deals are a nice treat for the parents too :). It was clean, not too busy, and overall a positive exp

What an amazing place with top notch staff! The owners are easy to coordinate with and great communication all through the process. We hosted a rehearsal dinner with over 100 people. The night was a huge success! Guests ranged from 3 months to 86 and everyone had something to do! The food is homemade by staff and so delicious. The whole night was magical and the kids are still talking about it!!

We love it here! It's a great place for kids all ages. Best part of all, if you swipe your card and the game does not give you play, walk up and let them know and they will refund the amount you swiped for. Staff is always friendly and helpful!

My kids love this place and they have activities for all ages. Very reasonable priced and veteran owned. Food is great and the playground helps get much needed energy out of the children. My two year old loves the slides. Highly recommend.

This was our first experience here since we were driving through the area for my daughter?s doctor?s appointment. I have a 4 & 10 year old and I will say we all absolutely loved this place. It was so nice that there were multiple things for both kiddos to enjoy and the food we ordered was both affordable and good. We will definitely be back.

Way overpriced. They will money you to death. Charged $14 just to bring a 13 month old into the play area where his older sister was. JUST TO GET IN, and of course, he was too young to play on any of the things included in the $14. Anything his size was at least $1.50 a pop to use above and beyond the $14 they charged JUST to let us bring him there with us. Then they charge $1.5o for a plastic egg with a 15 cent "toy" in it and expect you to give back the egg! The pizza was pretty much like the take an

Here's my review as a mom of 3 young kids. We enjoy coming to toddler time toddler time. Lunch and 2 hours of bounce time for 10$ is a good deal! However.. I do wish they would make it so there's no kids over a certain age allowed to jump with the smaller kids. Otherwise maybe don't call it toddler time? I always forget to bring quarters and of course the games with the quarter holes are in the small kid area. Most toddler games don't work or are missing parts and the adult games are lame to be frank. Absol

Love this place! My daughter always has a blast here. The facility is clean, the staff are so kind and attentive, and the food/drink selection is great too. Would recommend for a fun family outing or parties for kids and adults alike.

My family loves Playtime! The kids have so much fun playing games and jumping around. I wanted to specifically leave a review for the guy who works up front helping to assist with check ins and prizes. I believe his name is Ryan. He is always soo kind!! He's quick to help you, so nice to the kids, and just very accommodating! Everytime we leave, he always tells us goodbye even if he's helping another guest. 10/10 customer service from him every time we've been there. Love supporting local family owned busi

This was a fun place, it was a little smaller than I expected, and the price for games was fair, but several machines took funds from our game card but didn't work and it was difficult to get a staff member to assist. The play area was a lot of fun for my five year old. Seems like it would be a great place for a birthday party instead of just a day out for my kid. Prizes were kind of disappointing but my five year old still had fun. It was a very clean place and the counter staff that helped us were really

I took my son who was turning 3 and his 3 cousins(also 3) here for the first time and it was an absolute great time & the staff provided the best possible experience. When deciding where to have our party, because they're all only 3 years old our biggest concern was making sure older kids didn't trample them around and playtime took that concern away completely, as they had a small area for younger kids as well as a larger arcade area for additionally. The kids enjoyed themselves, the adults enjoyed themse

Loved it. We went Axe throwing and they provided us with someone to keep score and teach us how to throw. We will absolutely return. The arcade is more so geared towards kids 15 and under. However they do have a few really cool games adults enjoy. It's very affordable and the staff is great!

We haven't been here since they opened a billion years ago. Decided to bring my kids and their cousins-8,5,4,3-and they don't allow outside food or drink. It was $65 to just go into the play zone. They don't allow drink and they don't sell coffee so I couldn't even sit and enjoy coffee while the kids played. (kids empire while a little more expensive WILL allow you to bring in your own water bottles and coffee). For the price there wasn't much to do for more than an hour in the play zone. I will definitely

Local small business, great prices, lots of community involvement - definitely a hidden gem. We love the lunch and jump special for toddler time.

The best costumer service, great food, even better time! I have never been disappointed, HIGHLY recommend!! (for all ages of course!)

Had a good time with the family here. Pizza was great! Updated review. Keep coming back and my kiddo likes it each time.

spent two hours here with my kids. Great food and a great place. Kids had a lot of fun with the arcade games and bowling. The price is fair and the food is pretty good for arcade food.

Perfect indoor place for my grand-littles. Small enough to not lose your child but enough stuff to do to keep them busy. Kid friendly food. Safe atmosphere. Fabulous staff.

Birthday party was so fun! Hostess was attentive, pizza was great! Laser tag was the absolute best! No running allowed so even young kids & us older folks can enjoy it! Arcade is limited but enjoyable. Just be careful of the ramps in the laser tag as one is particularly steep.

Awesome place to go both with your kids or with a group of friends. Full bar, music, and all the games you want. Definitely check this place out next time you want some fun!

Kayla so sweet keeps checking on me seeing how I'm doing. *(Popcorn) Nice quiet place during the day plenty of space and Lazer tag is offered ask for one shot out for closed in person tournaments

Great time! Haven't been here in a while & wasn't sure if it was age appropriate for my son who's almost 3?only to find out it's great for all ages! Mom and dad had fun too!

This place is amazing! My grandkids are toddlers and they have so much fun bouncing in the jump houses and playing on the slides. They are usually worn out after a few hours here...which I like!

Playtime is simply just awesome. Great atmosphere for kids and parents. We go often and always have a great experience. Their New Years Eve party is so much fun and family friendly! Staff and owners are always friendly. What's not to love about this place?!

We found this Playtime and had a blast with our grandkids. There was a young man named Ryan who hustled like nobody?s business. He delivered food and clean up after many messy kids while being very polite and helpful. We will be back!!

This place is fantastic! My son had a blast with the laser tag and the bouncy area. And there was a great selection of arcade games to choose from!

We love Playtime! I take my grandson almost every Thursday for the Toddler Time. The food is good, it is clean, and the workers are friendly and helpful!

We had our daughter?s birthday here. The staff is so kind, the birthday party experience was wonderful, and several staff members were seen cleaning the facility while we were there. I so appreciate the attention to cleanliness for the kiddos. They had such a fun time and never wanted to leave! Shout out to Megan for being an awesome hostess for the party!

Great time for kids of all ages. Video games, axe throwing, bowling, inflatables. Nice drink selection and food is great. Prices are reasonable. They give back to the community by supporting local organizations. My family always has a blast when we go there.

a good place for hangout and my kids really like playing in here, nice!

Did the toddler time, you get so much for the pricing! All the inflatables and a nice lunch. So much fun, would do again!

Best place around for multiple ages. From our 2 year old to our 11 year old, there's something here for everyone. Great food and great service everytime!

First time here. We're happily exhausted from all the great things to enjoy here. Super fun for the entire family including jump houses, adult drinks, REAL axe throwing and a black light multilevel lazer tag arena. Lots of video games, great food, awesome prices, most excellent service from not only the staff but the owners themselves to ASSURE you're well cared for. Support this business because this is a covid-19 compliant essential for family togetherness, high energy fun, and definite memories to be mad

My daughter liked the games and the prizes. She also said the bounce houses were good. Good place to bring kids! Unlimited games for 2 hours for $30 is very nice.

The food was great and the atmosphere was very nice and peaceful. My kids had fun. The only thing is that they could have had more games for older kids like 16 and over to maybe 21 because I have 2 13 year old kids and 1 16 year old but overall I liked it. That's why I rated it a 4.

Great family environment, arcade has lots of different types of games and is fit for a wide range of ages. My favorite was the mini bowling! Also the full bar and great food makes it and easy choice to return soon!

They make you pay $500 for a party room even if all you want to do is bring a tray of cup cakes. We brought them in and were told to leave without paying the outrageous party room price for a 5 min cupcake deal

Rude associates, staff targeted and constantly harassed my brother and grandma over water bottles that weren't ours. Arcade machines are outdated and prices are outrageous. Not going to this location for a long time.

Went up on a random Tuesday night and the whole fam had a fun time. Food is always good, and of course can't forget the games! We will always enjoy our time at Playtime!

The place is fun . Arcades are pretty good but the part we like best was the bounce area for kids but they don't have nice bounce things there's tape all over them one goes almost flat and they are old the don't put money to update things it seems

Always love taking the kids here. Plenty of entertainment for the kids to run around and have fun in a safe environment. Full service bar and kitchen as well.

Playtime is our favorite place to bring our kiddo. Clean modern facilities, friendly staff, and affordable pricing. Unlimited gaming is the best deal, which includes games, laser tag, and bowling. Unlimited gaming alone makes Playtime the best deal in the area. Defintely worth the visit!

Took my 2.5 year old for toddler time today. $10 to play and lunch was included! It was a fabulous time. Not too crowded and she kept busy the whole time! We will def be back soon!

Fun place to bring my 2 year old on Mondays for toddler time. Highly recommend!

Clean family friendly fun. Nice selection of adult beverages. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced!

Lots of fun and so much to do for young and old alike! Bouncy houses, arcade, ax throwing, laser tag and more. We always enjoy bringing our granddaughter and my son visited and enjoyed the arcade area. A plus for everyone!! Still a fun place and in a couple weeks we will be having our grandgirl's birthday there.

It's a great place for toddlers too! Great service. Clean. Great fun.

Great place for kids & adults! Fun for all ages! We love coming and always have a great time!

My son loves sliding very much and he enjoys it a lot..perfect place for family and kids

My daughter and I absolutely love playtime. We are definitely outdoor girls but this is the next best thing when weather isn't favorable. Love our playtime! Can't wait for the new location to open!!!! ?????

This was our first time here and my granddaughter had a great time. Staff was very pleasant.

Very fun place to take the kids. Cold beer and wine, Great pizza and customer service is amazing.

Love taking my kids of all different ages here with friends and their kids and just relaxing while the kids burn off energy. For parents 21 or older I recommend the rum bucket. ??

As a mother of 3, I am very big on the cleanliness and safety when deciding on family fun. Playtime Party Center is not only clean and safe but their new facility has something for everyone in my family. We always enjoyed their first location but the new building is amazing and very convenient to get to being right off the highway. My little ones enjoy the rest two different the playgrounds. While my oldest daughter loves the variety of bounce houses and the bowling ally. Their dad is a big fan of being ab

One of the best kid friendly arcades around amazing food fun games a ton of bounce houses and the drinks for parents are absolutely amazing 10/10 will be back once a week

Not only does it have wonderful accoutrements for the kids, but the parents also have access to axe throwing while the children play. We paid for an hour and a half of throwing and it was by far, the best time I've had at Playtime. Sure, the games, bounce houses, and laser tag is fun... But throwing axes is spectacular. Todd spent the whole time with us, educating is on how to throw, play, and improve our technique. We will definitely be back.

Visited yesterday, 2/21/21. I usually prefer a more diverse crowd, but we were the only African Americans there. However, ALL the staff members were welcoming and friendly. One young guy working in the laser tag area even helped me search for a lost belonging for like 15minutes. Thanks to his help, we found it. He was the sweetest. The all inclusive play specials were a tad bit pricy, but I still give them five stars. Because the food was affordable, restrooms were clean, games were all in good condition/wo

had so much fun for cheap. 10/10 recommend. my 2 y/o loves it

So much fun for the whole family! Definitely will be back. So much to do games, laser tag, axe throwing, and mini bowling!!

Staff was friendly, if you can find them. Play equipment is old and kinda dingy(I get it, lots of kids play there) with many token play games. The"jump" part was ok but had leaks in the bounce equipment.

Amazing place with perfect customer service and plenty of amazing games perfect for all ages

Our first visit here and we had a great time.

Over priced. They limit you on how many games you can play at once. So, a bored parent cannot play a different game while his kid plays another. If you buy an hour unlimited gaming, your kid cannot earn points on his/her card. So expensive yet, so many restrictions. Complete rip off imo!!!

We took our 2 grand boys today to Playtime and they had a blast! They are ages 5 & 2. They were able to play safely, while we were able to sit back and watch them enjoy their time. We ordered Pizza, and we were very impressed on the service and taste! They explained everything about their facility very well. We will definitely be taking the kids back! They are providing a very safe place for kids to not just play, but to develop and learn social skills We are thankful for their day today. We appreciate Pl

We love playtime! The prices are great and the kids have so much fun. Check it out if you haven't. Next bday party will be here!

Took a work group for a quick meeting and then some fun. Excellent service! Food was very good and everyone had a great time! Highly recommended! I even learned how to throw an ax!

Staff is very nice and the place is kept clean. Prices are reasonable and my daughter just absolutely loves this place, especially the hippo at the top of the play place. She can go in the hippo and they have a big thick window in its mouth that overlooks the whole place, the arcade is full of all kinds of games and they have lazer tag and a miniature version of bowling. On rainy/cold days this place is perfect.

Had a little birthday party for my son today! It was absolutely wonderful! All the kids had so much fun. We did not do a party package we paid per person and all the kids said it's the best party ever. We ended up doing the 2 hour unlimited gaming. 10/10 recommend! And ALL the staff was super helpful and friendly!

Came in for the first time. Not very helpful when informing us of deals or pricing. Just informed us about arcade pricing and bounce house price. That was it. $20 for 1 hour arcade, $30 for 2 hours. $15 for bounce house. We decided to do the 1 hour for each of our kids, so we purchased 3. Remind you half the games don't even work with this card, which we were not informed of, either. The kids were done after 30 minutes, so I asked if they could go to the bounce house for the remainder of th

The staff was friendly and nice , it was clean and my kids and I had a great time.

It was okay. I thought the kids play area was going to be bigger but my kiddos still had fun. The only other thing was the other bigger kids pushing around my smaller kids, and I had to get onto those kids. Wish there would have been staff to help out a little. Food was okay too. The kids ate the corn dogs with fries but said the fries were too hard so they didn't eat much of those.

Very nice, clean and my kids had a lot of fun!

My 3 year old had a great time. Good climbing equipment and bounce castles and even a smaller toddler area. The place was clean, staff was friendly. And the bathrooms were clean too! Great place.

We love Playtime! We have celebrated birthdays here and we always have a great time! Perfect place for kids and parents to have a great time!

This place is busted. So many arcade games are not working, either out of service or it just takes your money. Very annoying. In the play area, it takes a long time for tables to get cleaned out. On busy days like Sunday, it can be hard to find a table. And it's not clean. Things feel dirty. The inflatable castles are a limited selection too. The area is fairly small so it can't fit much but that gets to my next point. It's kind of expensive. A family of 4 is easily $50 and closer to $100 for a full experi

Have a great birthday party staff was awesome food was good for the price

Great family atmosphere and the kids love it!

Went out to Wentzville in search of something fun to do that was open. Was really impressed with Playtime, the fun activities for all of us to do, and their attention to keeping it clean. Thank you for the fun afternoon and keeping it safe!

Love toddler time! Such a great deal!

We have been coming here now for 2 months and honestly want to come every weekend because we love it so much. Our 4 year old LOVES all of the bounce houses and we get to enjoy some drinks and delicious food. The pizza and pretzel sticks are our favorite. So happy we found a perfect hang out spot for us and our daughter!

I had a party here today. For the most part it was an ok experience. The party itself and the host was amazing as well as the food, but The biggest disappointment was Henry the hippo. My kids were so excited to see him and the person wearing the costume didn't interact with the kids whatsoever. One of the workers even said ? Ask him to dance with you and he will!? So the kids started saying dance with us dance with us! And the person just shook their head no. To me that was very rude and a waste of our tim

We went yesterday 1.30.21. Can't say enough good about this place. Drove an hour for the experience since everything closer has too many COVID restrictions. The place was clean. If you wanted to wear a mask you could, if not, you didn't have too. The staff were ALL super friendly. The owners were great and were totally down to earth normal people. Good food and bar, awesome playground/bounce area, nice arcade and games. We spent about 5 hours there. The kids (3&6) LOVED IT. We didn't get a chance this time

Awesome place to take kids to play 5 stars ??????????

This place is great! Prices are very reasonable and all adults and kids had alot of fun ,so much to do

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
