We met Andrew while we were in Japan, and he was incredibly kind and helpful towards my girlfriend and me. If he was this willing to go out of his way to make our time a little bit brighter, I can't imagine what it would be like to hosted by him. If we were in the area, we would recommend!

We've been doing the regular early bird playtime for a few months and recently hosted a birthday party here. Always a good time at reasonable prices. Andrew brings the fun as the party host, the pizza was great, and the kids had a good time. Recommend for a rainy weekend or a party!

A week ago my kiddo and I stumbled across this place and boy what a hidden gem it is!! Andrew is a wonderful host. We celebrated our kiddos birthday at PlayLive Nation and it was such a chill experience. Andrew took care of the pizza, the tablecloths the plates, cups... the price was very reasonable also. Andrew also dressed up as a butler, was always ready to assists the kids, and he gave her the opportunity to have a special name for the afternoon. Definitely a keeper place.

Been here twice now always nice friendly staff. You can play video games or play chess or any card game like MTG. The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. They also host video game tournaments every Friday I believe this week. Was a FFA BO6 tourney with a $20 buy in soooo cheap!

Went in to buy Aetherdrift Collectors and no one was at the counter. Four people playing card games just stared at me as I walked up to the counter and still no one was available to help. Not sure which one was working as no one said anything and no one greeted me when I came in. Environment felt very hostile. I didn't feel welcomed, which is sad as I have been a patron at this store before it moved away from the movie theater.

My boys had an amazing experience! We did a birthday package for 9 people, not only did he manager work with us when I forgot to book sooner but we also were served by the Butler who is just amazing with the kids. Before the party even began, the Butler switched into gear helping entertain the kids with magic tricks. He then set up all the kids stations, got excited and into the games with them. The Butler made this event even more special. I would give 10 stars ??

We JUST finished up celebrating my son's 9th birthday. He and his friends had an absolute blast. Andrew played butler and was great with the kiddos! He truly made my son feel like king for the day! They are very accommodating and considering the level of service provided the price for all 7 kids, 2 large pizzas, drinks, and game time for 3 hours, was more than fair. I HIGHLY recommend PlayLive for any birthday gathering. You can really tell they take pride in their establishment. We will be back.

My 10-year-old and I went to PLAYlive Nation today (4/6/23) for spring break. We got there a little early but Andrew let us in and spun up the VR machine. I think he had more fun watching my girl experience VR for the first time than if he was playing the game himself. He took such good care for us and I learned that this is a family owned business. My daughter had her birthday party today at play live Nation. She turned 10 years old. She had an absolute blast and she loved the whole experience. They even provided pizza and soda for the children. The host was my daughter's personal butler and she called him chicken wing. He was very funny and made the whole experience really fun. I would definitely recommend having a birthday party at this place if your kids like to play video games

The hosts showed our kiddos a wonderful time! Pizza, sodas and games, of course. But they also gave our little one a Personal Party Butler! He did magic tricks and voice impersonations of her favorite characters. Even our teens had a ball. No one was left out of the fun. I highly recommend Play live Puyallup; not just for birthdays, but any day you need good cheer.

my son went there for a 12 year old birthday party. he had a wonderful time! the gentleman in charge of the party was amazing! cracking jokes with the kids and playing games with them. good experience. we'll be going back.

I personally don't take interest in the concept of gaming in a public place, but the owners of this spot are absolutely fantastic people, and i always go here for Pokemon cards. I've purchased multiple Elite trainer boxes and whole booster boxes and have pulled hit after hit. Very reasonably priced as well. They have a good selection of Magic cards, too, if that's your thing.

Hey I went here for my sons 14th birthday party with out about 10 people it was great and our "butler" did great but the only complaint I have isn't with the place itself but there was a group of 20+ year olds. I wish they had a hygiene rule or something like I get sometimes you forget deodorant but my god our whole party could smell them from across the room it was bad enough to make you not wanna eat.

We have used Playlive for several years now for our kids birthday parties. My kids request to go here because of Playlives party host. He is the best and does amazing with the kids and the prices are great. I as a parent am actually excited when my kids pick Playlive to host their special day. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed

Seriously the best, low stress experience for a birthday party! They're super laid back, helpful, intentional and kind. We had Andrew as our party host, I couldn't have imagined him being any more helpful. He was entertaining and really connected with the kids. He also helped make sure everyone, including the adults, had what they needed. I highly recommend this place!

Came in for some MTG and found some good decent singles. Andrew was super polite and helped me with everything I needed. I enjoy the vibe in there, people are having fun. I just wish they had more singles to offer, and an online inventory to browse them. Other than that, I definitely reccomend.

We had my son's 15th birthday party at the PlayLive Puyallup location. Andrew was my son's butler for the party. He made sure everyone's needs were met. Andrew was great with the kids and entertained them when the pizzas arrived. My son and his friends had a great time. I would highly recommend the PlayLive Puyallup location.

My son had his 13th birthday party here with a few buddies, he said it was one of the best birthdays he's had. The employee who took care of our party was my son's Butler who he got to name and give him a British accent. He was super funny, helpful, and got along with the kids really well. He also made sure my husband and I got to relax while he got us all anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this for birthday parties or even letting your kids play for a bit while you shop!

They are very friendly and helpful. The young man (Andrew) that greeted us and taught us how to use the system was awesome. I called before hand to see if they had a specific gaming system (Virtual Reality) training that we were looking for. It was a perfect start to what we needed. They have alot of different games to choose from and excellent prices. Hourly, daily, monthly and yearly. I believe. And birthday partys too. A great group of guys, go try them out.

Went to a kids party here. Slightly grungy but everyone had fun and the staff was very attentive. I would recommend for a gamers party any time. Pizza was decent and it's really nice being so close to the movie theater and inside the mall so you can shop if it's more your speed while the kids veg out lol. I always see places like this struggle so I hope you give them a chance. You will find it's a pretty good value for time spent.

I had my kids birthday party here recently and it was amazing! At this location there is a host that handles all your parties needs from food to drinks and is very entertaining throughout the whole party and made sure everyone had a good time. Huge selection of Xbox Games available for play, super fast internet, they even have an awesome MTG community and CCG stuff for sale. I'd have my birthday here! Brian & Andrew are just so awesome and welcoming. 10/10 would play games again.

Our first time going there. It was a great place to take the kids!!! They had a blast!! I even decided to do my son's upcoming birthday party there. It's such a cute place. I love seeing the joy in the kids faces.

PlayLive is a great place to go and game with friends. First time I went, I was with my dad and we played Just Cause. We had a great time and I plan on returning to test out games I don't own and see if they are worth the money. Hourly prices are great, very few flaws, overall recommended.

This place is interesting. Unless you are attending a party, I don't see vising here much, but it is still pretty cool. They have a limited MTG selection, and some game stations available for rent. The atmosphere is pretty cool here, and the guy who helped me was really friendly.

It's the best, staff is awesome and set-up is quick and convenient. Unlimited deal is best deal for families (having a family of 5 sons is a job in itself). Times are limited to 3-hour blocks most days--still a great deal.

Great place to play video games and host parties. Andrew is super nice as well as the owner. I highly recommend this place. The prices are super fair. I just wish they had a yearly option instead of monthly.

Had my kids' b-day parties here for the last couple years. Always great, the kids have fun, the staff is attentive and communicate well with the kids and go out of their way to make sure the kids are enjoying themselves.

Owner is disrespectful to others property he moved my backpack without consent and proceeded to hide it from me and believes the world revolves around him and does not take his job seriously and instead treats it like it's a hobby and does nothing but play video games acting like doing his job is a hassle also likes to act like people don't like going here for games when really according to reviews the problem is the owner himself and when given a golden opportunity to make a fortune he flat out refuses to

If there were an option for a NEGATIVE star rating, I would choose the lowest end of that scale. This place is a complete JOKE in regards to customer service. After dropping off a console for a SIMPLE repair on a Friday, we were told it would be ready for pick up the next day. Went in on a Sunday for pick up and ended up dealing with an employee (who we interrupted playing a video game) who didn't have any idea as to what was going on or what we were talking about. It's a fun and friendly environment for gamers and family's. I've had good experience with the place and made new friends that are both gamers and employees of the store.

As a repair shop, find some place else. Took Xbox 360 in for drive repair in July an now 5 weeks later and they're telling me its in the que to be looked at. I've had two calls in to find out and still not sure when they'll even look at it.

I came here 4 years ago, and I loved it. I played a bit of Sonic, and a lot of Minecraft. Best service ever, too!
