A lovely arcade with a large variety of games. Particularly liked how much old-school stuff they have here, as well as the fact that they still use physical coins and tickets. Found a new favorite in this ball toss game.
I so dearly love this place, however it is easily in the worst shape I've ever seen it in. Many broken/down machines. Hopefully just the downside of visiting so early in the season but my gut tells me this is the new norm. I'm pretty confident that if y?all reached out to Fun Spot/the American Classic Arcade Museum in Laconia they'd be able to help connect y?all to resources to fix these older machines that are broken. The upkeep and preservation of these machines are important to the history of video game
This placed used to be so good a long time ago. It seems like there isn't any machine maintenance involved anymore. Multiple pinball machines have had the same issues for years. How do you let that happen as an arcade owner?
I wasn't able to stop in the day I was there. But I have made it a point to stop in at least once a year since the mid '70s. Lotsa Fun, Lotsa Great Memories. ????????
This place really hasn't changed in close to 35 years. Still the same great pinball machines and hard to find games of chance. Way better then the Casino Arcade. It brings back many great memes of my childhood and later when I lived and worked on the beach in 83 & 1984. A magical time! So bring no in your kids for a variety of great games, many for just a quarter!
I loved that many of the games were still 25 cents and that the machines took real quarters. Not tokens and not those awful swipe cards. It was so satisfying to slide an actual quarter into the slots. Just like the old days!
DO NOT USE ATM ON SITE. It will add a $3 "fee" BUT THEN it will also add a $2.50 ATM Withdrawal fee on top of that. So to use the ATM, you are paying $5.50. Skee ball ate about $2 in total across multiple machines. Half the games were broken or off. Basketball toss does not roll the balls back since they are too deflated. Literally everything was sticky. Some of the $1 racing games are not linked to play with the machine next to you. This arcade is 100 times worse than Joes Playland on the other side of th
Terrible machines that don't work or ate your money or don't give tickets. It now cost a dollar to play a claw machine for a small stuffed animal that you will never win. Arcade games have gone downhill. There is no quality anymore. Sad.
Run down, most of the machines are broken, they put zero effort into maintaining this place. I feel they're trying to compete with York Beach arcade in looking like there's been no maintenance since the 1960's.
Classic retro arcade that has not been touched in 30-plus years. There was no air conditioning on a hot day, but some large fans at the back of the room helped. I can only speak for the Skeeball, which was great. Some machines don't work, but most do. Prices for skeeball are very reasonable at only one quarter per game. Place is a little run down, but it's has character, right?
This place is a dumpy child casino, full of very few actual arcade games, and very many ticket dispensing machines that don't work. The staff is aware of this, but could care less and don't offer refunds. Don't waste your time here. Yet another disappointment on the Jersey Shore of New England.
More games are broken than work. At least the staff is polite and gave refunds without any push back. Not a single machine had an out of order sign so you constantly have to ask for refunds.
Wonderful place full of nostalgia and fond memories. Lots of old-school games & originals from the early 1980's to include Asteroids, Galaga and Frogger! The are MUCH better than the lame, almost always-closed "arcade" by the casino and well worth the visit. My only gripe and reason for 4 out of 5 stars is because many of the machines are in need of maintenance and/or repairs. Many of the older machines had screens nearly completely washed out with time, pinball games had stuck paddles but all-in-all, it's
Absolutely terrible. Literally every game is broken to some degree...from skeeball to pinball and everything in between. Lots of broken controllers, wheels, pedals. Only games that were working were the ones that pump out tickets which is not my jam. Spent $10 and probably got one good game out of it.
Not much is broken here.
The good part about this arcade is that it has really nice employees. The bad part about this was that the claw machine was rigged! It would grab the object and then it wouldn't even try to grab it. WASTE OF MONEY!!!
It's not my favorite arcade on the boardwalk but it's got a lot of good old arcade games. The other arcade has a lot of more modern led screen games but if your looking for classic arcade THIS is the one. They have Simpsons for example.
No bathrooms for arcade players.loud machines that don't work . Over a dozen machines off or out of order rather play a game on my phone .
Games are older but fun to play kept the doors opens and had the heat running on the cold day so it wasn't uncomfortable. Kids were nice and gave us the prize our daughter wanted being a little short on tickets.
Most of the ski all machines either have 1 or 2 balls or dont even work. There are more broken or not working machines than are working. I use to love this place when I was a kid but they really need to put some TLC into it. Instead of the staff sitting behind the counters talking get out and fix the machines and fill tickets for the empty ones. It's horrible how bad of a condition this place is in.
Kids had fun. Plenty of historic and unique rides for younger kids. Older kids would probably get bored quickly. Several machines ate our quarters. Lost maybe a dollar out of 20.
I used to love going here when I was a kid. My family would go to Hampton beach every summer when I was a kid. I haven't been in over ten years. Also I could go for a cinnamon sugar fried dough from the one and only blink's.
It was very fun for my 5 year old everything is 50 cents to 1.00 to play the games. There is a bunch of different things to do. A lot of change machines to get quarters. My son loves it here!
We love this arcade! It's a typical New England style beach arcade. Prices aren't bad. Great selection of games. Tons of options to win tickets and the prizes are great and reasonable.
Always fun for an hour.
Had a lot of fun here but so many games were broken and we lost at least $3 because the machines ate our quarters.
Great place to play the classics as well as newer games. Nice setup of racing games. Just be sure to check the machine to see that it works. Easy to get lost in the excitement of it all.
a few machines are broken or don't give out tickets but still a fun arcade. most of the games are a dollar and they have change machines and can break bills at the counter
First time in years and was disappointed. The place is muggy inside and needs a lot of updating. Many machines were broken, ate your quarters OR didn't give you tickets cause they must have not been stocked.
It's is a little old. But a big arcade and it is very kid friendly
Love bringing my kids here. We have a lot of fun. It's great seeing all the different games and pin ball machines that they have.
My daughter and I are always related with respect and help when we need it ASAP! We live up here and they are so great to her there! Heather W.
Good nostalgic arcade. Worth the visit. Glad it's still around.
Several staff all young males very attentive to all customers requests very prompt and gentlemanly! !!. Super kind and nice to my 7y.o grandson even showing him yo yo tricks
Old fashioned set up but also has newer games as well. Prizes are better for the younger kids in my opinion.
Played there while working at the nuclear plant. Awesome 80's feel. Loved it!
This place is very outdated. Many of the games don't work and just be prepared to lose a lot of quarters as you go around and play
Please update your hours, I drove 2 hours to check this place out, it says you closed at 11 so I assumed I could grab dinner and be there at 7... suprise...
Overpriced, but that's how arcades are. Cool prizes and fun games. Nice employees too!
Games are great but the staff is glued to their phones and seem interested in anyone.
M grandchildren loved it and used to bring my own kids here
Need too improve open hours online you walk down there at 7 and it's closed when it clearly says 10am til 10pm
There were awesome prizes and Me and my family had so much fun!!!!
This place has not changed since I used to go when I was a kid! Now I bring mine! Love it!
Pinball ski ball racing cars you name it they have. My family and I love coming to this place.
80% of the games are run down and broken but its clearly making money and packed. Spend some cash for the respect of your buiness
My son loves it here. Don't tell him but so do I.
it's not as good as funarama that one is an awesome arcade this one just can't compete
It's a good place to take the kids and also fun for adults too ??
Who doesn't love an arcade?? Glad to see they're still around
This arcade is like a hidden gem. We love going here.
You're clearly not open as of today even though both Google and FB say you are. Maybe fix that.
i paid 150 tickets for a rattle snake egg and i got a piece of metal
Classic arcade. Unfortunately alot of games are broken and/ or take your money
Had dun winning lots of tickets with my kids.
Super fun and laid back. Extremely hot inside!
Many old favorite games and many new ones always fun
Awesome old retro 8 but games what a fun place
Typical ocean boardwalk arcade, great for the kids.
used to be way better then it is now
Great place to unwind and have fun.
Old dirty and outdated even though there are some newer games
Best place ever in the summer!
It's 530pm and they are closed!!!
Best arcade in New England
Says there opened but there not
Was actually at Hampton Beach casino
An absolute favorite

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
