Second floor, 21010 Pacific Coast Hwy suite m210
Huntington Beach, California 92648
Small place, not really a mini golf course, it's separated into small areas with holes. $15 for unlimited play and time is a good price. It's inside the shopping place Pacific City, parking structure is $8/ hr but this place can validate so you don't need to pay for parking. Update: I gave 4 stars but I changed to 2 stars because the the front desk lady asked my son to move for the other couple to play when he was playing at #4. She said ?they're about to play at this hole? so my son had to move to other h
I've used Playground HB as the venue for our company's event for our interns and new grads a few times now. Geoffrey has always been accommodating and communicative throughout the booking process. Great service and our interns and new grads always have a fun time here. Would recommend!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a good time with the boyfriend here. :)
This place is awesome!!! I love how they made use of the space they have there?. and all the pinball machines are so cool too!!! They also have a golf simulator in the back room that was super fun as well. The girl at the front desk, Kortney was super sweet and helpful. She made me feel very welcome and I will definitely be coming back again, and also recommending the place to my friends and family!
We had the BEST time mini golfing, playing pinball, and playing the fun games in the back room. Scarlett was SO friendly and gave us lots of tips for the mini golf course. Absolutely will be coming back
Love this spot as a date night or place to have some fun. Located in a mall with cool shops, food, and drinks - Playground stands out as one of my favorite places to visit. They have a bunch of awesome pinball machines, all with various popular franchises and themes. Their mini golf course is creative and interactive. Perfect for a date night with your partner, or a fun spot to bring your family on the weekend. There's a back room that has more games, a bar, and golf simulator which we elected to spend a bu
We had an absolutely amazing time at Playground HB! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and exceptional service. The mini golf course is incredibly well-designed and fun for all ages, with each hole offering a unique challenge that kept our entire group entertained. The pinball machines were a huge hit, especially with our kids who had never played before. The combination of old-school and modern machines provided endless entertainment. Birdie?s Backroom was perfect for our p
Don't let the website pictures fool you- this is a very very very small place. 9 holes of mini golf took about 10 minutes to complete and not worth the $10 per person to play. The website offered food and drinks and there were none. Pinball area was cool but all games were $1 to play.
Went here for a date night, and was very happy with the experience. Vibes were awesome, the holes were fun, and the location is prime. 10/10 would recommended!
such a cute date idea, the owner even let us stay late to play minigolf, super sweet of her! coming back soon to play pinball! also it was only 20 bucks for two people :D
First, this is obviously a small business that was very resourceful in turning this very tiny space into a business. Kudos to this. Having said that, it's incredibly tiny and there's barely enough room to move around inside the place. There are 9 holes some of which aren't really putt putt at all. If you're looking for a quick distraction for your kids, this will last about 20 minutes tops. I give credit to the staff because, since they weren't busy, they let our kids go as many times as they wanted. That
It's a cute place but it's not really a mini golf course so much as a room with putting greens and blocks of wood as obstacles (not like Camelot at all). Not a huge room, maybe 25ftx25ft? We came by on a date to check it out thinking it was a full typical mini golf set up and this is not that. Looks like it is really meant for people to have drinks with games on the side. The host was very nice! I think it would be great for events, probably not the greatest for dates.
Had such a great time at Playground Mini golf! It's a perfect spot for a date night and it's located in Pacific City on PCH. My husband and I stopped in with our friends after grabbing dinner close by and it was a great way to spend the rest of our evening. Not to mention, the pricing here is a great deal -- $15 for unlimited play. I feel like the mini courses are fun and creative too! Definitely stop in and play!
Super cute place for a date! Very friendly staff and reasonably priced. I don't know that I'd take more than a group of 3-4 people at the most but as a date night out it's perfect.
Checked out this spot with my wife and some friends, and was not disappointed. Very cool murals throughout, and a private room in the back with a top of the line golf simulator, with full bar! It's great for weekend hangouts or even just killing time prior to dinner reservations. We'll definitely be back!
Love this place! Went in with some friends to try out the golf simulator in Birdies Backroom. It was awesome!! A great place to chill with friends and get some swings in. If you're in the area make sure you check it out. I'll most definitely be back!
Very small and felt cramped with other people. The golf holes were diy at best. I felt this place could have done better in a larger spot. I did love the pinball machines.
I'm sorry but this place is absolutely ridiculous. It's smaller than you can ever imagine, holes cramped into one tiny little room. We were shocked when walking in and $15 for ONE round? Also had the most unhappy and unwelcoming staff (two of them even) who were mostly playing computer games and seemed annoyed with any customer who walked in with the intention to play a round. Def never coming back and will not recommend to any friends or family in the area.
This place though! We came by HB Playground before dinner and played mini golf. We ended up hitting the Golf Simulator and playing virtual kick ball! Unfortunately we missed our dinner reservations! Great for locals and tourists! ?? This place is 10/10!
Spent the Sunday with close family and friends at the playground mini golf at Pacific city HB ?? We rented out the back golf simulator room, which offered a nice bar for cold refreshing beverages.?????? a classic golden tee game, cool art, and lights. The main feature The golf simulator was AWSOME!! ????this was a no regular Roger Dunns golf simulator? this is what the pros USE. Responsive, high end and a blast!!! Got to play my bucket list golf course? Pebble Beach ?????? All-around great time with clos
Such a fun date night! Scarlet was great and made the experience very enjoy able! Will totally recommend!
This place is super dope! I love the concept of the virtual reality games. My kids and I loved it and will most definitely will be returning.
Love the simulator and the owners are so rad! They accommodated my kid and let us play soccer on the sim! Not to mention there's an amazing view of the ocean! Great time all in all
Perfect for mini golf introduction. Very friendly staff. They validate parking.
It's on the second floor. $15 for a round of mini golf. Saw this place on tiktok and it was over hyped. The place is small and one of the courses was out of service.
The staff as really awesome and super supportive of the community.... especially kids & pets. Highly recommend stopping in
It was so much fun Kourtney was a huge help and super nice when we got here
loved this place!! alexa and courtney were great :)
It's a fun place, the staff especially Kourtney was really nice and helpful
Fun spot with a speak easy
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
