Positive feedback highlights friendly staff, good service, and enjoyable experiences for parties or events. However, several complaints cite poor service, especially at the bar, with slow orders, rude bartenders, and inconsistent food quality. Customer Reviews

I just went to watch my daughter play for a school event. Everything seems nice and updated. Not like other dank bowling alleys I've been to! It doesn't look or smell old. My daughter had a lot of fun playing, and that's saying something...we can't usually get her out of the house away from video games. We will be back more often!

The bartender was exceedingly rude and disrespectful. I ordered an Old Fashioned and received a dismissive response, stating that they don't serve those types of drinks. When I asked for a shot, I was met with rolled eyes and lackluster service. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've experienced this; otherwise, I would have let it slide. This is genuinely the final straw for me. My family enjoys gathering here, but he is undoubtedly the worst in customer service I've encountered in the industry. Tru

This is a very nice place for bowling, pool, and cornhole. They have a bar for drinks and room for scheduled events in the back. It is very clean and has what is needed to host a fun event or a party. My only complaint would be that the parking lot lights were not functional. You could still see because of the light from the surrounding businesses, but it was a little dark in front of P&S. Overall, a great experience.

The staff was very friendly and very tentative, they even came down between our two games and asked if we needed anything. I do not think that the pricing is very good, it's very very high from any other place I have bowled. We brought our own balls and shoes and just for two games for the two of us it was almost $40

Everything was pretty good. Decent sized bowling alley a few pool tables and much more to do that I didn't try. If it wasn't for the cold nacho cheese I got with my pub pretzels it would?ve been 5 stars.

They told us an hour and a half wait so we ordered snacks and beers. Turned out to be only 20-30 minute wait. The kids enjoyed the arcade and we enjoyed the adult beverages

I Love this place, its like my home away from home. the staff and servers are great and food is good. Lanes are well taken care of and it's also pretty spacious compared to other places I've been. I bought a couple balls from the pro shop they did a great job setting me up at a good price. Very pleased :)

So much fun as always the staff is always friendly to me and cuts off my friends when they've had too much which is perfect bc I want to fight my friends when they get too drunk??

This place has a fun atmosphere - we arrived around 6:00pm on Saturday and it was about a 35/40 minute wait to get a lane. While we waited we got drinks at the bar and played cornhole. The arcade is a lot smaller than they make it seem online and there are lots of kids running around (in the bowling portion) but a great spot for a date night! There were a couple servers working but we just ordered and grabbed our own drinks and food because we were never approached or anything.

I had a terrible experience at the bar, mainly because of the bartender's awful attitude. From the moment I walked up, I was met with an extremely unpleasant atmosphere caused by the bartender. When I asked for a drink, I was met with condescension and an eye roll. I have never been treated with such attitude and disrespect from someone working in customer service. Normally I would let this go but this is not just a one time occurrence. If the bartender is the man with the beard don't waste your time. It's

It could have been a better place, but the bartender, older Asian lady. She... well, I doesnt know anything about being a bartender... doesn't even know what a Kamakasi drink is.... and won't take any directions... then my beer price kept changing... idk... if the staff was knowledgeable and cared and gave a dam... this place would rock.. but clearly, the owners are asleep at the wheel.

24 lanes total, only 2 lanes being used. Needed assistance 4 times. Guard would not rise, pins would not reset either. The 5th time needing assistance, we were moved to a different lane to throw three balls in the 10 frame. (No help button, no reset button, nothing on the floor bowlers can do themselves) There was only 5 bowlers in the entire building using two lanes. Worst bowling experience ever & would never recommend to anyone.

Year's ago this place always fun to go hanging out and great place for family and friends to do something. They used too have a DJ and great restaurant to eat for nice date night and hanging out at the bar where their DJ lounge was. But it is not the same anymore. which it will come back and have great Lounge and DJ for nice date for adults. So, I haven't been here for over the decades, two -three weeks I thought I tried it again to see what it's like. I didn't do the bowling, darts and corn-hall still grea

Soft play area for the littles was absolutely disgusting. States they only sanitize under certain circumstances "leaked soiled diapers, vomit, blood, or mucous" such a beautiful fun play area but it was filthy! Could easily be cleaned!

I've attempted to come here multiple times over the last year and have yet to bowl. Today was the last straw as I came in 15 minutes after opening and half the lanes were reserved for a league and the rest were already reserved for parties. I even checked the website to ensure there weren't any leagues and there was nothing noted. It's rainy and cold and the kids are out of school since it's the weekend. You guys should be leaving all the lanes open for open bowl and a small handful for bday parties. It's i

I will never visit this establishment again, we called to ask them about getting a lane to Bowl on and we were told that we would have to come in and see if there is any open lanes. When we went there were some lanes that were not being used so, I waited in line for 10 minutes for the person in front of me to do what they needed to do, and when I got up there and asked for a lane for six people for an hour I was told that all the lanes were being used for parties! I've never gone to an establishment where t

I love this bowling alley. It's the best one in town. Lots of lanes, great servers and in my opinion the best tater tots in town. I bowl league here as well and it's always great service and well maintained machines and lanes

I enjoyed myself and the family we had wait an hour and a half to get a lane when there was 10 lanes available the whole time we were waiting, but we still had fun when we were able to bowl great food

This place is way too much fun! The Kids bowl free program allows kids to bowl free everyday, just pay for shoes! I took my son and nephew to celebrate their 10th birthdays. Kind staff, great environment, and affordable!!

The place looked nice after the upgrade since I was last in, it was under construction. The only thing is even with the ceiling fans going, on a hot day, there isn't much reprieve inside. In all, my family had a nice time though! I'd definitely go back just maybe when the temps are cooler.

We had my son?s birthday party here. Everyone enjoyed it and had a good time. The staff was great and the food was good.

Super fun event center! Everyone had something to do! Family enjoyed our visit!

I remember how big this place used to be when I was a kid. You could stare for days across all the lanes. It was double 30+ years ago. Still lots of fun and has bar and casino. Good food. Good fun and the drinks (soda) were free refills.

Worst employees working here! The people working seemed annoyed to have to help the kids with prizes, order a pizza or frankly anything. Rude, slow and we will never come here again!!! The only friendly and working employee was the bartender! Terrible staff!!!

Bowling is fun..but Shoes were literally hanging on by a thread. Dirty greasy balls. Service was horrendous. Never had a single ?server? acknowledge us. Had to get our own drinks from the bar on the other side of the building. After 45 minutes when we dared to ask for food or drink, we were told to go get it ourselves from the bar across the building?because they were ?honestly too busy? to take our order and ?just being real? that it would take the same amount of time for me to get it myself, as it would

This is a great place all round. Bowling, arcade, bar, casino. It's got a little bit of everything. Their food is decent for being a barish setting as well. The pizza actually had pretty good flavor. We really enjoy the cushioned seating with a table in between when waiting for your turn to bowl. It's so much more comfortable and classy compared to other locations. Parking is free and easily accessible. Our neighbors had a 13 year old birthday party, and they let her decorate, make a photo wall and bring cup c

This place is cool. Air conditioning, plenty of space to hang out and play! Check it out and support a local place!

This place is awesome. I had a great time. The bar staff was great. The Wait staff is great. The guys behind the counters are great. They fixed problems on the lane quickly and efficiently. And did I mention that the bar staff is great if you ever want to just have a nice drink and chill out and relax? This is the place to be. You wanna have a fun time? This is the place to be if you want to have a party. This is the place to be period.

I can't believe I've been in the area since 93 and I've never been in there. I went to the bowling side to see a really good friend that works in the back, that started training me almost 12 years ago up at lilac lanes to work on the pinsetters and oil lanes according to the desk and for that nights league, anyway I was really impressed with the seating for the bowlers and the seating behind them for family and friends or pretty much watchers. Nice arcade room, cool bar, big event rooms. Just a really cool

As a Real Estate Agent in the Spokane Area, I am always looking for places to go that offer affordable, fun, family entertainment. At Players and Spectators you will find just that. Not only is the entire staff super friendly, but they are constantly on their A-game when it comes to service. My wife and I joined a league this winter and are confident we will be doing this for quite some time! If bowling isn't your thing then they have Corn hole, billiards, and an arcade! Seriously, if you are looking for so

The bartender is ALWAYS in a terrible mood and the staff seem annoyed with customers being there. Stood in line for over 25 minutes for the bartender to just walk away without ever even taking my order.

Guy at the bar was super unfriendly but everything else was great, nachos were delicious lady at bowling alley was super nice

Really happy that the new owners are sprucing this place up. I understand that they are open during remodeling, so not everything is finished yet, but the furniture needs some TLC soon. I will absolutely leave a more comprehensive review as soon as the face lift is complete.

The place is nice. But handicap accessibility isn't huge. If you have to go to the bathroom and are in a wheel chair good luck. I had to leave my wheel chair out and get to the bathroom because it did not fit in the stall:( and the space to get to the bathroom is very small between tables to if there's even 1 person walking thru you'll have to wait.

The staff for overall nice, relatively good prices for bowling and the food's pretty good too.

Hands down the best bowling alley in Spokane! Coming from a long time league bowler visiting from across the state I was very impressed with the quality of the lanes! The staff was great! They were courteous, inviting, and super helpful in every way. The drinks were on point with good prices and quick service! (Shout out to the young lady tonight who was awesome keeping up with all the orders all night, thank you!) I highly recommend this establishment for anyone who wants to bowl both competitively or just

Signed the kids up for the Kids Bowl Free summer program and chose P&S to use with it. There's no reservations allowed when using this program so we had about a 30min wait on a Saturday which isn't bad at all. They gave us a pager and we hung out in the arcade while we waited our turn. The gal behind the bowling counter that helped us was super friendly and helpful. The bowling area was clean and we had a great time. Can't wait to come back.

Good food and plenty of open lanes. Cocktails are pretty nice too

It was a great place with a great atmosphere. However, the tournament was early, we all wanted breakfast and we had to wait until almost lunch for the cook to get there. I guess he was on his own time. The girls waiting on the tables were very nice. They seemed happy to help us.

People there are amazing humans. Had a great time

A bowling alley where you can't reserve lanes ahead of time and teenage workers make snarky comments. The arcade can't make up for the atrocious customer service.

Very big facility. Bowling, corn hole, bar, arcades and more.

Once again Glen came through with great customer service. Amazing to watch how he works under pressure.

Was alright, lanes were alright, fairly buggy but not bad. The waitress was nice enough but seemed to have a hard time getting orders in. We had a pretty large group of people ~8-12 so I understand somewhat. Thing is that the lanes weren't all filled so I wouldn't imagine it being that rough to handle that many people. All in all a good place to bowl, kind of off if you want to have drinks and bowl.

Go here every week to play cornhole! Great time and great food and drinks!

Normally I have a pretty good experience, but today was just horrible.. Ordered a Pitcher of Beer and two glasses, got just one Glass no pitcher.. went back with the receipt to show them that I ordered a pitcher, the girl at the counter said she'd bring it out for me, 20 minutes later she came back saying ?he wants to see my receipt ? finally got my pitcher with beer 10 min later, but no second glass.. and it wasn't even full.. ?? grrrrr the bowling was fun though!!

Great place for the whole family. We had a lot of fun.

This was a fun family event after going to the movies. My Nephew is not good at bowling but everyone else had fun

Took thirty minutes to order food and a drink with only ten people in front of me, insane. The pool tables eats your money.

My son's Special Olympics bowling team practices here every Saturday morning. The management and staff go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and like we belong. They treat each special needs athlete with respect. Please support this venue as they give so much back to the community.

A great place for all family members young & old!! We are thinking about having a family reunion there!!

Went to an event there today. Busy with birthday parties and the event bowlers. Staff was on it, very pleasant and did their best as being helpful to everyone. The pizza was delish, quite impressed actually.

There is a game and/or activity for everyone! My son had a birthday bowling party, and we could bring in a birthday dessert. There is a full bar, as well as a kitchen to keep everyone happy. What a great inside place to go during the hot summer weather.

It surprised me how much the facility has gone down hill. This was a great facility a couple years ago, with multiple pool tables and even a basketball court. These days you can wear wornout bowling shoes and maybe get some warm food that finally arrives after you've bowled your first game. The balls have pieces missing from them and you can tell from the pictures that the seats are obviously in need of some repair. I'm really hoping someone turns this place around. A lot of memories were made here, and

Bartenders always seem in a bad mood. The last 3 times I have visited I was never greeted in a friendly manner. Came in wanting to play some pool and visit with friends to find out they don't accept vertical ID?s. I understand that rules are rules but the fact that I can get into an actual bar with my vertical but can't play pool past 8:00 is crazy. The part that gets to me the most is that when I asked if they would accept my ID the bartender was very rude and immediately told me I would be kicked out of t

I want to leave a 1 or 2 star review; but I won't let the bartenders poor sad attitude affect this review that much. A nice place for billiards, bowling and darts. The food is decent. Just so sad that the staff aren't getting the support and love from management they need to provide half decent customer service. I understand Saturday was hard and busy. But I'm sad to receive very bad customer service because of it on a very slow Sunday afternoon.

Indoor corn whole is a nice set up here and $8 to rent the bags for an hours is very reasonably priced.

The bowling and event part of the facility is updated and clean. Most of the lanes functioned perfectly and pin setter was accurate. The food is not great but is ok. Bar tender is fantastic. They are currently remodeling the arcade space, curious to see if it is still going to be used for that.

One of my favorite places to go in the Spokane Valley. Can't beat bowling when the weather outside is yucky. Super friendly staff. Cheyenne is always there to great me with a smile and always takes the time to ask how I am doing - she is one of my favorites and does her job very well. Bret is always there to give the kids helpful tips and high fives. Super fun place to take the family. If you have never been, go and check them out, you will have a blast at Players and Spectators!

Great place to do stuff. Plan on having to wait for service though

The place is huge with so many activities for the whole family to do!! Fun for kids or adults!! It looks really clean, nice, and updated. My only complaint was the service. I came here for a company party, we were a large group, but for the several games of bowling, I never once saw a server come thru to take a drink or snack food order. So we would have to take a break to go to the bar. The 3 bartenders working, were honestly the slowest bartenders I've ever seen! (I worked in a high volume bar for severa

We had our company Christmas party here and the food was absolutely horrible. Service was good but the food was not. Prime rib overcooked made us instant potatoes because they didn't have our baked potatoes done on time and they were not cooked all the way asparagus wasn't trimmed and was very flavorful but fibrous. Nice atmosphere friendly staff l

Sick space with bowling and arcade games!! they have a soft play kids area which i thought was sweet!!

This is the nicest bowling alley in the Spokane area. There is also an arcade for the kiddos. The bar is really nice as well, offering a few pool tables and several dart boards. They even have a huge room dedicated to corn hole. P&S also offers a large event center for ... well, events! Lots of fun, and I can't wait to go again!

I've driven by this place 100 times and I never realized it was what it is. I know the sign has bowling pins in the logo; I guess it's the "casino" & "events center" that threw me off. I was blown away when I walked in there. Fun place with so many different things to do. Bowling and food staff were great at customer service; Bartenders could use some tips on customer service. They seemed more interested in conversing with each other than serving customers.

I bowl league here and we also had my company Christmas party here in December. As always Sarah was our server for the Christmas party and during league, and she is hands down the best. Faith and Brett at the front counter are also amazing. The entire staff makes this a very enjoyable establishment for families or just a night out.

My first experience there. It wasn't the best place but it's all good, (4/5 stars) but I sure had a great time for my friend's birthday party. The service was a bit busy, super crowded mostly at the arcade until I started bowling it calmed me down. The gluten free pizza I had was delicious, good thing it's small enough to where I'm able to eat it without any problems. Drinks are good as well. Some arcade games were pretty noisy but I actually enjoyed it too. I may come back another time so thank you to whoe

There was a super sweet girl working while I was in with my sister and cousins last week! Her name is Sammy ! She had great customer service and anyone would be lucky to have her as their arcade attendant! She was so efficient and a great worker!

This Could be a Great Place & I Hope they are working on it! I wanted to celebrate my birthday and be able to have all ages come hang out. Well if you didn't book a banquet room, starting at $100 with a whole package thing that we didn't want to do, you couldn't reserve tables. After going in and seeing that there was only a bar area, arcade area & bowling, which isn't bad but we just wanted to hang out , order food & drinks, we were resorted to putting tables together in the arcade area, which were dirty.

We have had our daughters birthday party here two years in a row. Great space for large groups, very accommodating staff and good food. Sarah and Cassidy were great hosts, thank you ladies!

Tried to go bowling on a Friday night but they have league :( the nachos in the bar area was really good.

Staff was nice and courteous! Aracde was fun and my daughter enjoyed it! (We didn't bowl, only played in the arcade) The gentleman, Brett, went above and beyond for my daughter! (She is deaf) , but he did an amazing job being so understanding and patience for her!

37 years ago today I was born into this world from the combination of a monkey embryo and human sperm cells. Furthermore this place really wasn't that great we wanted to go bowling but all the lanes were closed for their league. Then we checked out the arcade since it looked nice in the pictures but it was actually very small and disappointing. There were lots of balding old men there and one old lady who was kind of grinding on one of the men; an offensive display to my eyes. Not a very good experience. I

5th star if it wasn't so darn expensive otherwise we had a blast.

Decent place once you can figure your way around! If you have a large group, you are likely in the separate party room to the right as you enter - was not clearly marked and the staff were not very proactively helpful to guide us. The food is nothing to write home about but the bowling is just fine! Decent draft selection as well. If you are trying to plan that group event, be sure to reach out very early / expect to have to physically stop by. My colleague reported it was not easy at all to book with th

We go almost every Saturday. The staff goes above and beyond every time! Clean and great staff makes this our go to place on the weekend! The arcade is the perfect size. We usually end the bowling day with a round of air hockey to see who's the real champ!

Had a great time with the family and food was good too!

Prior to saying a word, I was greeted with a Nope! It's full! I asked when an open lane would open and was told, "I don't know, maybe 4pm." I pointed out that their website didn't mention the tournament on the calendar, and that it would be nice to update the website in the future. I received a dismissive and unprofessional response. The staff member showed no interest in addressing the issue and seemed unbothered by the inconvenience they caused. It's disappointing to encounter such poor customer service a

Went there for a company Christmas party and they ran out of food even when about 30 people didn't show. The prime rib was all fat and cold. There was potatoes but no butter or gravy. When I asked for butter they said yes and then I never got any. Salmon was very dry and the only way to eat it without butter was to pour ranch dressing over it. And o my choice of vegetables was asparagus. For the price I think they paid to have the party there I would have thought there could have been more choices and serve

Do not recommend. Staff doesn't follow through with orders. Pizza orders take longer an hour on a not so busy night. You're better off ordering pizza from your favorite pizza delivery store.Staff talks down to the customers including children. After waiting long periods of time to get the card back from the waitress, they impose the $45 fee. Even after the party was over and half the food. Never made it to the table. Prizes that were won were broken highly do not recommend and this is just part. Our first t

We reserved a private area for my grandma's 80th birthday and it was absolutely terrific! The service was great! We had lots of kids with us and there was so much for them to do! They loved it! The adults got to visit without the kids getting bored! We also had them do the food and it was really yummy I would definitely recommend this if you have a party or other big event!!

Maybe the least accessible business I've seen in the last decade. I went to go bowling on a date with my girlfriend and pulled up to find a few poorly painted handicap spaces with no wheelchair loading zones, which are the most important part of handicap parking. But, most people don't really think about this so I gave them the benefit of the doubt snd parked in the back of the lot where I was able to get my chair out and then went inside. When I asked if they had any way to get down to the lanes from the m

I haven't been inside, but I'll rate the facility anyway. The parking lot is generally very clean, nice shade spots near the walking trail which I appreciate. Seems to do good business in the evenings. Never noticed any static in the parking lots when they're busy.

An employee,Cassidy, gave our children two 5$ cards for the arcade. We didn't know this was an option. Thank you Cassidy!!! Made our Saturday so fun! We added more money and stayed longer. Definitely coming back soon!

Booked an event and reserved a group space with Doreen for last night. The evening went very smoothly and Doreen was our server as well. She took great care of us, and we already booked our next event.

Would rate zero if I could. Came in with my friends on a party package 12/16 9pm(which wasn't cheap) with the exception of a waitress, and yet she was no where to be found when we were ready to order. So instead we along with everyone else in the lanes, had to go to the front counter to place our order. Meanwhile, two assumed waitresses were chit chatting, gossiping, and rolling silverware. The two people who were working the front desk, were kind and patient while being flooded with all the other customers

Probably the worst service possible. Crackhead bartender gave me different prices. Dirty glasses smelled like rotten dish rags & was sketchy. We had to go order food where the bowling was, and they refused to send a server after asking several times. We had to go to the bar to get drinks. Plenty of worker zero personality and acted we were annoying them ?? Basic services are not here.... strongly suggest to avoid this place now. Sad because it used to be one of our spots.

Pizza was dripping grease but if u took a napkin to it it wasn't TOO bad. Shoes are pretty decent. Not torn apart. Was really busy for the weekday but was still able to get a lane. Really clean and nice staff.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
