Customer Reviews

Outstanding Bellevue haunt. If you want to take a trip back to time before Nashville was a tourist Mecca, this is your best chance to do so. Great staff and great karaoke. Obviously a great place for serious billiards players.

This is my spot to go and shoot some pool with friends... busier on the weekends... with karaoke on Fridays.... and bands on Saturdays.... the bartenders are amazing!!! There is a jukebox that has an app so you don't have to get up everytime you want to play a song!!! The pizzas amazeballz!!!! Always greeted with a smile!!!

We came specifically to drink and play pool while we watched a game. This was the ideal place: the staff was friendly, the drinks were strong and the pool tables were affordable and in good shape. We'll return whenever we're in town.

If you're out outside of your circle area and wind up in the west side of Nashville / Bellevue it is the best bar to hang loose let back and be yourself

Favorite place to hang out. Learning how to shoot pool and playing in the tournaments. Sunday Night 8-Ball and Tuesday Night 9-Ball. Friendly welcoming staff. Tables recently re-felted. Thank you for welcoming me to Nashville Sherry, Jen, JV, Brittany and Chelsea. Good good and drinks.

Allison Took care of our group tremendously. She was outgoing and very friendly. Will definitely be back. cool spot!

Just drove from Nashville to play some darts, whit friends because people recommended, but bartender didn't let me order drink because they don't accept Employment authentication, neither DMW issued paper for new driver licenses. Very bad service!!

They didn't like my accent so I was asked to leave. Might have been the skin I don't know . Was very sober too. Incredible experience if you would like to experience stupidity.

A little high, but not terrible. They were packed, but tried to keep up. I ordered double Jager bombs & got a couple shots of Jager with a literal splash of red bull. Not a drink like I asked for. A fight almost broke out last time I went & they could really use a bouncer. The dj was lame also. Played oldies of all things. Ain't No Mountain High Enough was not a banger. It was weird.

Excellent place-friendly and welcoming. Jen is amazing, meat lovers pizza good, drinks great, I just moved into the area and loved the sweet welcome! My new go to place to hang out!

Last Sunday, I went there with colleagues, and the server asked to see an ID. I show her my foreigner passport, and she said that the passport was not allowed it's about ABC license.I don't know where did she get ABC license,I have ABC license too and foreigner passport is allowed.Even in the broadway i can get in all of the bar.So disappoint

The pizza. It's just so friggin good. Simple, crispy, and done in the Chicago tavern style, which is the best pizza of the Chicago styles.

A great place to have a beer with friends or alone. There are several televisions and video games. Friendly people.

It's just really a great place to hang out and meet people. Friday's is karaoke night and it's great fun to contribute or just watch other people sing. Drinks and beers are very reasonably priced and so is the food.

Players is the best dive bar in Nashville hands down! Top notch pool tables, self-scoring dart machines, Golden Tee, Skee-ball, and the new patio area are all great reasons to go but the people are what keep me coming back. Friendliest staff serving the coldest mugs in town!

All three pool tables are solid. Plenty of clearance. On Friday night, there WAS karaoke but it never bothers. The disc jockey and dancing is separate from the gaming area. It was busy both nights I went in last week. Lotta friendly local folk enjoying libation. Top notch staff - Chelsea & Jennifer are terrific. Chelsea walked out from behind the bar to lay down the law on rowdy youngsters. I remain impressed, but fellas - what are you doing? All pool tables are taken. Name goes on the list. Only half

Good, chill pool hall. Decent selection of drinks, although I only had a beer at the time so can't speak on the skill of the bartender. She was very friendly and pleasant, also good looking. We'll kept tables and outdoor seating. Will go back soon.

Love this bar. Lots of entertainment and friendly, attentive bartenders. Good quality pool tables/cues and it's pay by the hour instead of by the game so great for practicing scenarios, 9 ball, etc... Pizza is good and drink prices are reasonable. There are plenty of TV's for sports, a punch/kick power machine, golden tee, and a phone charging station.

We had a great time watching the Iowa game at players! Our bartender Sherry was great and took care of us all night! Definitely recommend for a game night

Staff was super nice and pool tables were in decent shape, but the pictures of the awesome looking pizza on there web site is no what they are serving, frozen pizza at top price. I will return to shot pool but no thanks on the food they're serving.

Best staff in town with plenty of things to keep you entertained. Good food and amazing music!!

Good place, good prices. Wednesday night trivia was fun, too. Would definitely recommend.

Player's Inn is a very comfortable energy bar with extremely well kept (rentable) pool tables with nice & soft blue felt. The price for renting tables is $9.00/hr or $4.50 for 30min (they charge in 30min increments). This place makes you feel like you're at home, when in reality, even if you have no idea where you are in Tennessee, you're at home if you choose Player's Inn! Cheers!!! Hope to see you all there! ??

This is my favorite bar. 99% regulars. I have not seen a lot of unfamiliar faces in 5 years. The staff is so friendly and hasn't changed in years. The beer is extremely reasonably priced. Smoking is allowed. They have about a dozen tvs and 3 billiard tables.

Family-owned great atmosphere love the place would recommend it to my friends will definitely be back

My all time favorite dive bar. The best staff, the best deals, ALWAYS open til 3am and you can have seriously some of the best times of your life here. Sherri, Cathy, Erica are staples in the bar business. Go see them!! They'll take great care of you! Cheers ??

30 min drive to play pool and darts. Called ahead and asked if there was smoking inside. "No, ma'm." Whelp, she didn't lie, there's no smoking in the main area. But smokers congregate by the front door that wafts smoke into the main bar and, friends, it reeks. We left. Bummer because it's a nice big bar with lots of potential but if you don't like cigarette smoke, you won't like it here.

I just have to say, this is by far my top bar to go to. I've been to alot, but this one here is amazing. I've never been to a bar where everyone is conversing with each other, everyone gets along and is very friendly. I met someone really good people and I thank you all for excepting me. ??

First pub i visited in Nashville. Love the staff and patrons. Feels like Cheers! Everybody knows you, and if they don't? They make every effort to make you feel like you belong. Great prices, diverse menu and good service. An all-around great place to hang out. Come on down and see them!

Fun to play pool, relax and people watch! Love the pizza and the kind staff! Be sure to head over and check out their live music!

I love this bar! I've been going here for years. Met some of my best friends here. They have the best prices in town. I highly recommend it!

The best pool tables around!

Great local bar with friendly people, kind staff and welcoming atmosphere. 3 pool tables, ski ball, darts and a few other arcade type games. Awesome new year's Eve party. We will be visiting again! :)

Best pizzas! They are dedicated to their customers. I walked out with my pizza but left my pool sticks. The next day, my sticks were waiting on me, behind the counter. Thank you, Players!

We like the Players Inn. The people are friendly, Sherry, (I hope I spelled her name right!) She's a great bartender very personable has her eye on everything! There's a lot of things to do... shoot pool, play darts, games, poker, karaoke...The only one thing I dislike is the smoke I always wreak when I come home but that won't stop us from coming back!

Been coming to this place since I turned 21. Best owners, staff, and patrons in town. Great place to watch games with all the TVs. I'm not a big pool player, but their pool tables are awesome. I love this bar!

Friendly attentive servers. One side of bar has several pool tables and darts and other side has Goldentee. Plenty of TV?s with different sports on. It's a smoking bar but was well ventilated with fans going. Big plus for us non-smokers. Fun bar.

Great place to go late night. Cheap beers, good bartenders. Pool, and pretty good food. I liked the meatball sub.

If you want a local hangout, this is definitely your spot. Staff is friendly. It is smokey inside, so be prepared. Always a good time and a good spot for after hours when your other bars close in Bellevue.

My husband and I eloped to Nashville with a group of close friends and decided to celebrate by having a couple drinks. Found Players Inn on google and were very fortunate to be welcomed by amazing owner Erica and her fantastic staff. Could not have asked for a better place to celebrate.. pool... boxing game... skeeball.... board games... Truly a hidden gem... sooooooo wish this was closer to home... We will be back to celebrate our 1st anniversary!!!!

This place is awesome from beginning to end. They have many events, including pool tournaments. Everyone is friendly highly recommend .

Best kept secret in Bellevue. Great to find this spot in my neighborhood. We found it after a great dinner at Antonio's. Low key laid back place to watch the games with great prices (Serously best prices in town where else can you get a draft for under 3 bucks all day long?) The separate pool room makes it feel like 2 bars under 1 roof. They just added classic NES, I'm not a gamer but I might give Mario a spin for nostalgia. The bartenders are very friendly and get to know your name and order after a coupl

If you're expecting a local dive, you'll have an awesome time with some good people. Best beer prices I can find, food is quite tasty. There is smoking inside.

Love their breakfast. Chicken tenders are ok, if not overcooked. Burgers are gross ( in my opinion) the absolute best thing about Sonic to me is their wide variety of shakes, floats, etc! That is the main reason, really the only reason, I go there! :-) oh, I do love their cheese sticks & fritos pies though! Lol...

Erica the owner was awesome and the players deluxe was way more than $7 worth and delicious! So also compliments to the chef! ID ABSOLUTELY GO BACK!

Player's is a staple of Bellevue. This is THE bar to go to when in town. Pool, giant TVs, and affordable prices. There is always plenty of parking, and the staff is always super friendly. I never skip this place when passing through town.

What can I say, it's a tiny bar in Bellevue. Be prepared for a lung full of smoke and some of the nicest weirdos you've ever met. Don't piss the bar tenders off or smoke your cigs while shooting the cue ball you're likely to get yelled at or shown the door.

Really nice tables, good and level. Drinks won't break your wallet but selection is a bit limited. Good time overall. I'll be back.

A local favorite since 1991! This 5 star dive bar gem is nestled in the heart of Bellevue and owned by a couple of Nashville natives! This place is filled with billiards, darts, arcades, Nintendos, board games, and the friendliest people in town. It truly is where everybody knows your name! Throughout the week they have pool tournaments, karaoke, and trivia. And if your hungry, they offer hot fresh deli sandwiches, flatbreads, and delicious pizza! They even have Tshirts!....Everyone loves a Nashville souven

Bouncer let's guy hit two girls . He does nothing to help the girls. Police were called and the bouncer let the guy flee . Enter at own risk clearly bouncer and staff knew the guy that attacked the two girl's and were no help .players need to release the photo of this guy so prosecution can be made. They will not release the camera footage

Fun, smokey local bar. People were friendly. My brother and friend go here all the time and they love it. They have pool tables, board games, karaoke, cheap drinks, etc.

Players Inn is the best "5 Star dive bar eva" !!!! Great bartenders, fun games, best place to watch a PREDATORS game!!!! Such an over all WONDERFUL LOCAL BAR!!!! I will ALWAYS be there! Regular no matter what!

This place is Awesome! There is a variety of things to do. Pizza and burgers are really good. Friendly staff. Everybody has there favorite. Young and Old are welcomed.

Chill place, great bartenders. Decent food. Overall fun place to hang out or watch games, play Golden Tee or pool.

Karaoke night was awesome!! A must attend event every Friday night.

It's a great place to shoot pool, just sometimes the bar maid seems to not pay attention to pool side of bar, but other then that, a great place to chill, drink, and play sum pool

A great place to shoot pool. Tournaments with Grace are fun

Great staff and food. Friendly customers and staff. Plenty of games and pool tables. Nice neighborhood bar. Highly recommended

Power went out. Staff kept right on working. Candles on all tables. Very cool place. Great bar to visit. Sheri is awesome.

Good vibe bar, Clean bar setup, drinks aren't too pricey. Only reason for 4 stars is due to how packed they get during covid

Been going to players since I was in highschool. The crowd has just changed, that's the only reason I have them 3 stars... Bellevue thugs that think there still cool when in reality they never we're...

Love it here. 3$ per beer? Are you kidding me? What a great place

Had an Amazing time here, was great to see my former AT&T workmates. Will be back again soon

Just accept American citizen! The owner and staff kicked us out for being Hispanic.

Great sandwiches. Good pizza. Friendly people and the wait on a Saturday night wasn't bad for pool.

Bad place. be careful the older waitress steals your money when you pay with a card

Great people. Friendly employees. Drink are great. Games are all fun and its usually busy. Definitely enjoyed

Roach asked me for a ciggarete kinda looked like bartender if you want to play pool in dumpster come on down

Good place to go for drinks, pool, darts... Had a great time.

If you like a friendly atmosphere then this is the place to be ! Good food! drinks price right !

One of the coolest bar/pool hall you can visit. Only good things to say.

I love this place a nice dive with friendly people.. if miss Sherry is working you better make sure to have a damn coaster!

5 star dive bar is the perfect description of this awesome gem

Had a blast here the customer base was really fun and the drinks were well priced

I go here often they have nice tables the bartenders can be fun

Great place to grab a few drinks. Hometown bar with a great atmosphere.

Best place in Bellevue for a drink and shoot some pool. Also, Mrs. Sheri is the best.

Great service and staff!! Good place to kick back for a drink and play a game of pool

Karaoke on Friday nights. Drinks aren't outrageously priced. Great food. I love Players.

I showed up at 12:10 there website says they don't close till 3am I got there doors are locked so I called a women inside said they are already closed if I could give it no stars I would its been a few months there website should have already been updated if they close early due to covid !!

New outside patio is being worked on today! Its going to be wonderful to sit outside with my friends & a nice cold beverage.

Player's is not the smoke filled hive of scum and villainy it once was - evolving with the times and stepped up their game a bit. On advice of a friend I gave them another shot. I would go back.

Great Sports Bar! Good people, pizza, pool, sandwiches & more! Fantastic video surveillance system too!

Great place freindly staff......one of the only places to play pool in the vue .....will definitely come back here...

Visited there last night. Nice spot. Good drinks

Great place to unwind with live music.

Non-smoking now. Painted and lot of upgrades. Great people. Good place for meeting friends.

One of my favorite little spots in West Nashville to shoot pool & have a good time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
