Stopped by Player Two Arcade Bar on a Sunday afternoon and had a great time overall. It wasn't too busy, which made it easy to hop on most of the games without a wait?big plus. The game selection is a nostalgic dream, but a few machines were out of order, which was a little disappointing. Drinks were solid, the atmosphere was fun without being overwhelming, and the staff was friendly. It's a great place to kill a couple of hours, especially if you're into retro gaming. With a little more maintenance on the
Super underrated bar with great food, outstanding service, cheap prices and an awesome selection of games. You won't be bored here and it wont break the bank. Plan to spend all day here. Friday night bartenders from 6/7 were 10 out of 10.
This is the coolest bar I've ever been to! The kitchen staff was lovely when I asked if their vegetarian options are safe to eat. Their French fries and moz sticks are on another level! I'm a gamer and my partner is a beer drinker and we both got an experience that we will forever remember and cherish!
My friends and I were somewhat regular visitors to the Appleton location a few years back but this was our first time at the Green Bay location and we loved it!! The vibes here were so cool, I loved how there were so many games upstairs. It's just a neat building in general! It's really classy. The games all played well and seem very well taken care of, they're very reasonably priced (25 cents=1 token for most games, Pinball is 2 tokens). We left around 10 pm and it wasn't too crowded, at least not yet, so
I know where I'll be spending a lot of my time when I get down to Green Bay :) In all honesty, I didn't eat here because I arrived late and had already had dinner. I hear the food is good but I hadn't come to eat, it was all about the games for me. I grabbed a Mountain Dew and a cup of tokens and hit the machines. They have a really nice selection of pinball and video games. A lot of places claim to have a old video games but when you go there, they only have stuff from the 90s but these folks go all the
Went in to play pinball and arcade games. Had a blast. Plenty of old school and new machines. Good beer and time.
We had a great time trying out some arcade machines, as they have a pretty good selection of games to play, unfortunately a few are showing there wear a bit when we were there on the older stuff but there pinball machines are top notch with a lot of newer ones so lots of cool things to try on them but be warned they require 2 tokens though... as well as a few other machines but still there a great place to grab a beer and maybe some chow with friends and hang out for a while if you're in the area ??
How fun is this place? We stopped by to check it out and we're blown away by the variety of games and number of pinball. So many of the classics and a very fun skeeball set up. Newbies be aware - this is a location that utilizes their own tokens so there isn't a change machine! Go up to the bar to get your tokens and a Spotted Cow on draft. Menu looked very good, but we were already full so. We didn't get a chance to try it out. Upstairs offers even more gaming options and a fun atmosphere. We loved that th
Visited here for my sister's birthday and we all had a great time! Great selection of games, good drinks, and the food was out of this world! So much so that we werebtalking about the burgers days after our visit. Seeing all the retro games brought back such happy memories of staying up until the early morning hours, playing video games with my sister. We'll definitely be back!
Duuuuuude, Player 2 Arcade Bar is TOTALLY RADICAL! If you're into the retro scene, this place is like stepping straight into the 80s! As soon as you walk in, you're hit with those old-school vibes?I'm talking tabletop Pac-Man, skee ball for days, and more pinball machines than your brain can even handle! Seriously, it's like being transported back to the golden age of arcades. And bro, they've got all the classics! You got Tapper, Galaga, Q-Bert, Double Dragon, and so much more! It's like a who's who of le
It's such a cool spot. Being an 80s kid, it was such an awesome throwback. All the games you remember and some you didn't. I was like a kid again. There are so many games, and pretty much all of them work. The bartender was super friendly, and the food looked good as heck. Didn't eat there, but I wish we would have. Great prices on food and game tokens are cheap! Go here, please, keep the arcade going! They're being forgotten, and it's sad.
They have the best arcade games, everrrr! I was like THE biggest kid playing games! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. This place did not disappoint! It was my first time here and I will be back soon. Absolutely loved it!
Lots of pinball in decent shape. Some had some issues but almost all were playable despite the issues. Most needed new pinballs and a playfield wipe down but I imagine these get lots of play since the pinball machines only cost 50 cents or less to play depending on the current token deal. They had a 6 pack and 60 tokens for $25 when I visited. Gamer cocktails, big screen Mario kart, lots of pins and arcade games, two bars, food, very cool.
We got kicked out for being too loud with our kids........we were the only people in the bar. Horrible bartender. Horrible service. It was 430 on a Monday, NO ONE ELSE WAS IN THE BAR BUT US. Who cares who loud we were at Rock Star!? Edit: no one was running. Two children were SITTING at the table playing Mario Cart under the supervision of 3 adults, while the 3rd child was standing with an adult playing rock band. No one made any mention of running, the only thing we were told is the child playing rock ban
Always love coming here to play the games. The themed drinks though are what makes this really good. It's a laid back bar that has an old school feel to it, and I love it. Good food is an added bonus :)
This spot is amazing! If you like good brews, classic video games and pinball, Player 2 Arcade Bar is a MUST! Absolutely love the atmosphere... I will be spending many hours here dropping tokens.
Seriously cool that Green Bay has a legitimate barcade with amazing vibes. Player2 has a huge variety of pinball and arcade games and most games only require one token (25 cents). My friends and I had a ton of fun. The food here was great as well. Can't wait to be back!
Update: Machines are now regularly working, it's not often that they aren't. However lately a group of guys comes in starts games on pinball machines, and then in between balls wander to other machines and their friends, getting mad if you try to use one of the machines they have a halfway game on ?? staff does nothing and seem to know them. Food prices are still astronomical compared to other burgers downtown. But the games work and 2 for 1 tokens on Wednesday is great. Staff are friendly enough. Drinks ar
Really cool downtown bar with lots of retro arcade games. They also have guitar hero, skiball, pinball, and many more games on the 2nd floor. Drink selection is good and service was decent. Worth a stop if you're downtown.
Such a fun environment. The bartenders were so friendly, kind & knowledgeable. Have us great recommendations for the area too.
I had a pretty good experience. They were able to get us our arcade tokens in a very fast and polite manner. The arcade was something out of an 80s nostalgia movie. The games are so fun and old fashioned. Now I see why my parents loved the 80s
Fantastic place. My wife and I stopped by here after dinner one night in Greenbay, and we had an absolute blast. The pinball machines are the best I've seen in a long time. My wife enjoyed herself. She didn't think it would be that fun, but she had just as much fun as me. Cold beer and mixed drinks while playing new and classic arcade games.... what's not to love! The bartender was awesome too!
So much fun. I wish we had something like this back home.
I've been to the Player 2 bar in Minneapolis but didn't know they had one here in Green Bay. I'm happy to know this because I really like the concept of an arcade bar with 80s, 90s & 2000s movies. Definitely the pinnacle of late Gen X-Millenial atmosphere. The games at this bar are fun and to me what matters most is the food and drinks. I finally got to try the Bowser Burger today with a couple of Miller Lites and it met my expectations. Why wouldn't I like a spicy burger? The French fries are average so i
Went to Player 2 in downtown Green Bay tonight for my friend birthday party. This location has a jukebox machine on the wall where you can insert money or link your app to play music. I put in $20 for 50 Credits (roughly 25 songs) I didn't realize I would get so many credits in the moment but I went with it. My friend and I started queuing up music that our friend would enjoy for their birthday celebration. We had about 8 out of 25 song queued up and only 1.5 had played before the machine displayed a ?Pause
Burgers are worth the money! Especially love the constantly changing specials and taps. Cheap arcade for something laid back to do. Plus you have to try their specialty drinks. Bartenders r the best also!
Very fun place! Prices were reasonable. If only the bar staff were more attentive instead of playing with their bubble stuff
Overall had a great experience here. Monday through Thursday you can get a burger, fries, a beer, and 20 tokens for $15. The food was great, and I'll definitely be back for the special! Service was ok, but not stellar. It's a bar, and it gets busy. When you order food, it goes back to the kitchen, but you have to pick it up yourself at the window. I wasn't aware of that, and my food sat for a bit, but it was still very good. So many great retro arcade games to pick from made this a fun place to hang out.
Yes plz! Good food, good beer, arcade games, and pinball! Two floors with a bar on both levels. Fun times are had here.
Well what can you say a bar that has all the drinks you want and two floors of all old school video games and a bunch of pinball machines. Every game is just one token and the pinball are two. Super cool place there should be more places like this
Look, I've been there repeatedly, food and drinks are good, and I have fun with the games. However, and this does make a big difference to me, no establishment that is picky about music should have a jukebox. I put off this review thinking it was a one time occurrence, but it wasn't, apparently. This review comes after the 3rd time having my music that I paid to play rejected from being played, and no one aside from staff was there to be bothered by it. I never played any "crazy stuff," the songs were Sys
It's a nice location, I thought the selection was a bit slim. I was being general with my review. Great response to the criticism. I do think the arcade cabinet selection is sufficient. (Updated)
Really only had the fries. Awesome ranch dressing came with them. Loved the atmosphere. Super laid back and chill.
We visited when it was not busy at ALL - which was awesome. This place is great, and my only negative thought is that we don't have one where we live. Basically every arcade game you loved growing up in the arcade era along with a bar. No tickets, no club cards - and when we were there no broken machines! You buy a cup of coins at the bar, put em on your tab and just go play. I found the Die Hard game upstairs was on free play so yippie ki yay! The main floor is a ton of pinball machines, some TVs with the
This arcade bar is big, spacious and has a lot of different game options. You can definitely spend a few hours here and not get bored!
Great place to go! Drinks and tokens are reasonably priced and the games are awesome! Even if you don't drink you'll have a blast here!
The burger was amazing! Really fun atmosphere. One of the better arcade bars I've been to for sure! Definitely going to be back!
This was a fun place! Two levels of arcade games and good drinks. Each game was only 25 cents, but about half of the ones I tried ate my tokens, which was a real bummer. Regardless, it was a fun time!
This place is amazing. So many cool video games and pinball machines! Going back again soon!
The games and the beer were the only redeeming quality, hence the two stars...not the food, and surely not the manager. The jalapeno poppers were not what we expected as they tasted sour, having a special house made cream cheese, as described by the manager, instead of the "cream cheese" as stated on the menu. When we let the manager know we were put off by the sour taste, and after trying one herself to affirm the flavor, she stated she couldn't take it off bill since she already put in the order. It's abs
Old school arcade games from the 80's. Lots of pinball machines. Didn't try any food but it did look pretty decent.
Fun place, cool newer selection of pinball games! Good selection of beer. Food was okay, nothing to write home about.
If you're covid scared, Don't Go Here. They don't hold anyone to the requirements and there's sanitizer but your touching everything. OTHERWISE...this place is great!!!! So much fun! So many games! Awesome drink specials! SUPER AWESOME FOOD SELECTION! Price: $$-$$$ The games are cheap to play though. Picks up after 10 on the weekends.
One bartender literally only one bartender will not ever take my order over the phone, any other time I have no issues whatsoever but if that one specific bartender is working good luck getting food to go over the phone
$10 for an underfilled glass of a rather ordinary IPA is certainly one way to operate. Makes sense now that every other bar on the block was bouncing and this one had 3 people in it
Ok so their selection of drinks were pretty cool. Health potion (that was pretty good but not that strong) to homelander shots!!? Gotta try the rest of those another time. A bloody Mary was a bit of a reach tho. Lots of arcade games to play. Staff was amazing! Did not try the food, the menu did feel a little limited.
We love Player 2. The bartender is very kind and the burgers are great!! So many games to choose from.
Brought some friends from out of town for some fun! Food was out fast and excellent (the cheese curds especially)! Good selection of games. We easily spend a few hours enjoying the place. My only real complaint, is that some of the screens are hard to see with the sun glare on the second floor.
What a great place to play some games and meet new people! There aren't many tables on the first floor, but with two stories, finding a place to eat is no problem. The food has been delicious every time. Crispy fries and the Deadpool burger, (light on the ghost pepper sauce!) is my go-to. The only big downside is trying to find a parking spot. But even then, walking a few blocks in that area is quite enjoyable if the weather permits! Whether I'm jamming out at Guitar Hero with my brother, or destroying t
Super fun place. Didn't eat when I saw 20 bucks for a burger and fries. I can get a steak for a few more dollars. Loved the nostalgic games! They were all in great condition with the exception of the cruising game upstairs. I love this game but the screen wasn't good at all. Everything else was great, and I will go back!
Incredible place. Great music and amazing food. More games than you can ever play.
Super chill place. Bartenders were great. All the arcades were awesome to see and play.
This place was amazing! It was my first time going for my birthday and we got like 40 tokens for ten bucks! The drinks were all so delicious and the food was cooked very well I really enjoyed their fries and onion rings. There are so many different arcade games to play too! Mortal Kombat, Dr Mario, DDR, etc... It was so fun! I definitely plan on making this a regular spot!
Seemed like an awesome spot, lots of the games still working which to me is surprising because people in general do not care about what they do to property. Didn't get a chance for food.
It was welcoming and the service was great. it also had good token deal bundled with purchase of food.
Awesome retro games and high tech pinball machines took the place of the average pool tables.
Super super cool place. Had tons of retro games! The bartenders are awesome and helpful here! I owe two of the bartenders rocks because they got brought up! The pinball here is top notch. Huge selection of games. Very spacious too! Would recommend!
Love this place.. Cocktails are always great...games are fun and they change them out with the other location every so often... Employees are always nice... Food is solid bar food and prices are good..
Two burgers were raw and pink inside. They said they could only remake them and not give a refund. Wanted me to drive back across town. I said i would not reccommend them and she said thats ok! worst burgers I have ever had. also way overpriced
Stopped in quick, just to see the place as it looked fun online. Glad we did! Fun games, amazing atmosphere.
I didn't experience the food or service so I cannot comment on it, but the fact that a place like this exists is exciting. The games brought me back to my childhood and the atmosphere was on point. I like that they all had modernish games as well as retro games. The only thing I would say is to bolster the current inventory of games with some cabinets from a little later also. I was missing some favorites from a later age like Killer Instinct Gold, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons and TMNT 2 to name a few.
The kitchen truly closes unusually early, and they certainly DO NOT serve food until 12:00 on any day of the week. They close even earlier than normal when the Packers play at home because they don't want football fans going in there after the game. I suspect they will shut down completely for the NFL Draft. Don't bother going there. Also, all the games are broken, and nobody who works there has a clue how to fix them. The best thing about this place used to be the availability of cheeseburgers after 8
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Player 2 arcade bar for a bachelor party and let me just say, it exceeded all of my expectations. As a lover of old school games and pinball machines, I was in heaven. The atmosphere was lively and nostalgic, with neon lights and classic arcade sounds filling the air. But what really blew me away was their feature of playing Super Mario Kart on a big screen. It was like stepping back into my childhood and reliving some of my favorite memories. And the fact that they
Most of the games are broken. Smells gross, the owner Mike is rude. The cocktail selection is great if you like gross overpriced watered down drinks.
Went here with my son and 1 of his friends. A manager opened late, so we got extra coins. We spent 2 hours playing games. Very fun place for a low cost.
Such a fun place! Everyone is nice and the food is top notch!
Great place to visit from out of town. They have lots of well maintained arcade games and the tokens are reasonably priced. 2 levels and pinball machines.
Wonderful staff, helpful in showing us the machines. One guy was cleaning the pinball machine and he talked with us about keeping up with the maintenance. Lofe thr TRON game they have. I relived childhood all over again. Thank you.
The food is just so good, try any of the burgers it'll be the best you've ever had
It was nice to go in there and see all the nostalgia with all them video games!
Great place, it was very fun. We played Dance Dance Revolution and they even had a 4 person pac man table.
Came for a birthday party, first time actually being in there since it was a nightclub. It was a very cool throwback to child hood with all the games. They had pizza rolls which were good, pretzels and cheese, pretzels were delicious cheese was ok(not for me). Overall very cool place. Love to visit again.
I enjoyed the selection of pinball tables. It sounds like the owner will be taking care of the problem below as well. Kudos to them for the apology and being willing to make the area safer for others. I did not enjoy hitting my head on whatever sticks out from the wall on the landing heading up to the second floor while making room for some other folks heading upstairs. With it being dimly lit, I didn't see that the wall wasn't just simply flush and I'm still not sure what I hit my head on as it knocked my
The place is great. Food was good, games where fun. Some do need some repair. Couple shooting games where not working rite and couple skeeball at token with no balls produced.
Kirstie our bartender was amazing!! We all had the best time and playing games was super reasonable!! When we did finally leave we all kept talking about our next time back. ?? The food was also really, really good!!
First visit. Kind of a gimmick bar. Their thing is offering old timey video and pinball games while offering food and drinks. Good tap selection. Need more local stuff though. My group's sandwiches were fabulous. Drinks and food are not cheap at all. The machines are vintage and a good number are out of order. Tokens are cheap and most machines take only one.
The Bautista was very nice and the music she played made me my wife very comfortable
Awesome place, power star is a great drink!! Will definitely be back!!
It's a very cool place. The food was really good, like surprisingly good for an arcade bar. The games were a lot of fun and brought back some childhood memories.
Came here with some friends for the first time the other night. The paintings are absolutely amazing and the variety of games are pretty great but other than that, the service lacked, it wasn't very clean, games needed to be serviced and my drink was so bad that I tossed it. The chick bartending was clearly under the influence, which isn't great for business considering my drink only consisted of two ingredients and it was horrible. I'm also 100% 420 friendly but found it inappropriate that her paraphernali
This place is like going to that one guys apartment in college who won't let anyone else DJ. It's way too loud and the person DJing can't read the room and just plays screamo. During the one Weezer song everyone was so happy and they only played one in the two hours we were there. Multiple women around me left because it was such a weird vibe. Fun games in great condition.
Great place to pop in while in the downtown area, or make a whole day/night out of it. Fast service with $0.25 arcade games. Excellent Food with condiments all made in house. Great vibes for all.
Great arcade games and wasn't crowded. Bars are on both floors. We had a great time.
Lots of fun. Great old school pin ball and arcade games.
Rates Best place to poop for ISB queens in 2025 ??
Loved the atmosphere and music and the games, my goodness the games that made us laugh and yet have so much fun and brought back all the great memories....
This place is amazing! What a wonderful idea! I'm not much of a gamer but I thoroughly enjoyed myself oh, and I look forward to going back again. The employees are very nice and it is not expensive to play the game at all. It is just like the arcades I used to go to when I was younger, except you get to drink alcohol too! They also serve food which is great!
Fun place. Awesome for a group of friends. Menu burgers only.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, rhythm games in arcades are a vibrant hit in 2025! Titles like Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania deliver high-energy fun, blending music, movement, and precision. Modern machines boast vivid displays, booming sound systems, and diverse song libraries, from J-pop to EDM. They challenge reflexes and rhythm, with competitive leaderboards and tournaments fostering a lively community. Arcade dance floors are regularly packed, proving rhythm games’ immersive, physical thrill keeps them a standout in today’s gaming scene.
