One of a kind place! We drive from Canada to go here!! Amazing selection of games for all ages. Free play fee is the most affordable way to play arcade games anywhere. The place is very clean. All the games are functioning great. Service is friendly and helpful. This is an absolute hidden gem!! Our family loves this place.
Such a cool place!!! You pay one fee and can play for hours!!! Many games from 80s arcades! We went for an hour and stayed for almost 4!!!! Even older adults will love it!!
For the price, the amount of things we did here was insane. We had such a blast, and the staff were really kind and helpful.
AS AN ADULT - I absolutely loved this place! My boyfriend and I were in the area and decided to stop by and check it out. Walking in we realized they had rooms upon rooms of FREE games to play! There were so many retro and nostalgic games and we got lost in there for hours. They also had a small free black light mini golf course as well as (paid) pool tables. We definitely hope to return when we're in the area again.
Went on Friday afternoon/night. Pretty cool place. Cheap to get in. Lots of free arcade games included in the admission ticket, and mini golf and air hockey too. Pool was like a dollar a game. Fun for kids and adults. Didn't try the food but there were kids lined up. They have party rooms too. Staff was super nice.
Visited here last week on vacation? super friendly staff, an awesome place to just let loose for a few hours and not drop hundreds of dollars. We liked it so much we went back two days later.
Brought the kids to play and eat and we had a great time. This was my second time here and I was still overwhelmed by the awesomeness of this place. Being able to see so many great games I grew up playing was amazing. Playing them with my kids made it even better. Our favorite, hands down, was the air hockey tables. The pizza was delicious and the kids devoured it. Super cheesy with pepperoni, is the only way to go. We can't wait to come back again. ??
This place was so much fun! They had so many arcade games that you could play for free! The price for mini GLOW golf was half price since we went later (close to closing)! The mini golf price included a round of golf and all the free arcade games. There are 9 holes for the mini golf. They have glow pool tables also, which was a cool and new experience. The pool tables were clean and the tokens to play were very reasonable ($1=4 tokens). We will definitely come back here when we're in the area. All ages had
Very cool arcade and glow golf was fun. Fair prices also. You should check them out.
Very warm no matter the time of year fair warning, but otherwise great place, great arcade, the byob nights are the best time if you're an adult but other then those if you're bringing kids here fair warning it will be even hotter and more packed
Great place for our great grandson birthday party. Party goers enjoyed unlimited play on games. Fun for all ages and more enjoyable than Chuckie Cheese
Legitimately one of the hidden gems of Erie. Amazing family fun, classic arcade cabinets and some new favorites too. The whole atmosphere is fun and so nostalgic of Tilt or similar gen X arcade. Give it a shot and you'll have fun
Playport was absolutely amazing, the staff were professional, it was very clean and easy to navigate considering how big it is and best of all it's local! 3 hours of non stop play for 12 and some change isn't bad. My friends and I had an absolute blast!
I like that you pay one fee for unlimited play. If you're sensitive to loud noises, you might want ear plugs; it's EXTREMELY loud! It's a little pricey for a family of 5 to go, but if you spend the entire afternoon there, it's not bad. It's nice to see a bunch of old school arcade games; we 80s kids had a good time introducing our kids to the games of our childhood. I do wish there was a discount for bringing 4+ people, but we'll be back again anyway, even if it isn't all that soon.
I love going here, perfect for a fun date night or a place to go hangout with friends, very clean, lots of fun games, I definitely recommend going on a weeknight because on weekends they are super busy.
I think it would be quicker to count that machines that don't work, rather than to count the ones that do. We paid $29 for entry and were told all the games were set to free play... they were not. A good portion of them required payment. Then most of the other games (especially the two player games) were broken. We spent most of our time just wondering around trying to find something that worked. Even the basketball and skee ball games were broken. Huge disappointment.
The glow golf is really cool. Whoever did the art work did an awesome job! The gsmes took me back to the day we had arcades! We had a blast! We will be back for BYOB Fridays!
First time going, had my son?s bday party - staff was awesome and accommodating, games were fun, ability to win tickets and get decent prizes is better than other arcade businesses in the area! Those complaining that some games arent working didnt look around and find many other options!
Place is very cool! They have a mini golf that was awesome ( especially for kids !) Did the one price for everything and where their are things you still have to pay for( we didn't) there's still so many games and things to do it's a great place to go for 3 hours ! ( One price is for up to 3hours !
I had 7, 10, 13, & 15 year olds with us and bought the basic 3 hour package. It was a good value for the money. There's so much to do there: new & old arcade games, mini golf, pinball, virtual reality, food, etc. There was the new Mortal Kombat game, shooting games, Contra, motorcycle, car, truck, & snowmobile games, Mario Kart, and so much more. We had to leave after 2 hours for another event but we all wanted to stay longer. Set aside a full 3 hours for this. Plus the front desk associates were friendly,
Best Arcade in the area. They've got concessions, entry package and paid games. Been visiting since highschool and the people who work here are awesome. BYOB nights are great, if you're looking for anything to do in Erie. This is the spot
We had a wonderful time with our family at this place. The customer service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect for a family outing!"
Workers very helpful and quick to service. Arcade games fun and fairly cheap. Mini golf very fun and a couple of challenging levels. Just a few out of order machines which is expected. Food service is great and food is tasty.
I had the time of my life with my BEST friend her BF and my BF we stayed for 4hrs won a bunch of tickets and played a bunch of classic 80's video games even some 4 player ones...All in all the night was a sober success! Will be back again.
First time here. Went with our adult children and they're S.O. What a great time! Laser tag closed at 8 so we just missed playing that but we still enjoyed ourselves. We even got in a super cool miniature golf game. Then my grown up children got to act like little kids trading in they're tickets for little toys before heading home. We spent two hours here but I could of stayed for two more. We will be back.
Did my 12 year olds birthday here. The party room was a great size. Staff was great about getting the requests that I arranged online beforehand. They let me do party items as we chose. The kids had a BLAST playing all the games and I loved not paying an ungodly amount of money for each game they played.
It was mostly fighting and racing games, the mini golf was also quite easy
This was a lot of fun for a good price ($10 per person for unlimited free play). There was a great selection of fun games. Not all of them were working properly. The mini golf course was very visually interesting but not lots fun to play. Since a game was included in the price, it was fine. Not crowded at all on a Friday night. Not being a local, I'm not sure if that's indicative of popularity or just something else exciting happening that night.
Such a fun unique experience! 12$ a person, in this economy and your admission includes 125+ free to play games (as many times as you want to play them!) as well as glow mini golf (as many times as you want to play it!) Me and my wife had a nice little lunch there at their concession booth, we stayed under 10$ to keep playing! Laser tag is also offered as well as blacklight styled pool. Very impressed with the transparency and actual fun of this place for a very reasonable price. I'd recommend play port to
Lazer tag was exhilarating - we had to run through twice Glow golf was super fun Many games to choose from
Great affordable place for my kids ages 2 to 13 to have fun! I absolutely loved their pizza up until they recently changed it and put garlic all over it. ?? Now I guess you have to ask for it without garlic if you're like me and my kids and hate garlic. I hate that they changed up a great thing. Other than that, we love it there! ??
Use to be a good place to go but half the games dont work and are missing balls or other items needed to play the game
The games are awesome. And I loved the Racing games along with the shooting games and you got games I played in the day and you guys make people young again.
So you can only pull 20s out of the ATM but they claim at the register they have no change but there's games that cost 5 dollars to play. But yet you can pay in cash for the entry fee and get change back. Bad business out to make a buck. Don't do it
TONS of games to checkout and try. Definetly worth the admission fee; theres a few games that require "coins" but I didnt do them and didnt feel as if I had missed out too much on anything. (I believe it was the games that gave out tickets for the prizes). The glow in the dark mini golf had some pretty rad murals too! All of the games were running and functioning. More 2-4 player games than I expected which was cool! Looking forward to going back.
Took my niece for her bday & we all had a blast! (Shes 13 & I'm in my 30s) They have all kinds of different arcade games and then some, old school games like alien invaders & super mario to new games like guitar hero, so theres something for everyone. The glow mini golf is a decent 10 holes & has some amazing murals!
We'll definitely visit again...lots & lots of games, love the free play! Mini golf was hard on the eyes but the kids had fun!
Great place. Extremely clean. Worker was very nice and informative. 10.99 and play as much for 3 hours is a great deal. If I come to Erie again we will stop back.
3 star honest review pros and cons Pros : It's pretty cheap to get in The admission last all day 90% of the games are unlimited plays It offers mini glow golf for no extra charge to the admission getting in. Party prices are cheaper and?s way more competitive compared to others Food is pretty well prices and offer a variety of things. Pizza Fries hotdogs mini corn dogs. Offers laser tag at a cheap cost Very nice friendly staff Cons: It's a very large area hard to find your way around. No clocks or anything
Just went there today as a birth month celebration and got a nice surge of nostalgia playing some classics from my youth. I also greatly appreciate that we have a Fix-It Felix Jr gaming machine in the arcades section, it adds a nice touch. I have only played a fraction of what this place offered and found those $14 more than worth it. Definitely coming back in the future.
Very fun and friendly staff. Nice environment.
Just okay. I understand it must be hard for staff to keep so many games in working order, but when the ones they specifically advertise, like the lazer course, aren't working, and don't have any signage that they aren't working, it is pretty frustrating. My boyfriend and I went for free glow pool, and he was the one who fixed their malfunctioning pool table. It could just use a little more care. But it was pretty fun- even for two adults. Didn't see any kids that looked bored or too upset by the games that
I would not recommend this arcade to anyone going with little kids. The ?all inclusive? arcade ticket only works for half of the arcade which is incredibly outdated. Anything the kids are interested in playing is a game you have to pay additional for. This is way overpriced for what you actually have access to. You'd be be offer playing at McDonalds :D
It's a bit pricey for the age of the games. If you like pinball and old school racing and shooter games, this is right down your alley. They do have a virtual reality area which is pretty cool. They do have games where you win tickets for prizes too.
My dad loved this place! It was the best birthday surprise he ever got! Thank you! They added this GameCube thing!
Pay one price and get 3 hours of gaming! Some games required tokens but majority of games were play all you want. Had all of our favorites in one place. Fun time!
This place is amazing, the amount of old arcade games they have was surprising to me since the place looked kinda small when i walked in.
Wonderful place for a kid's birthday party. Everyone had a great time
My grandson had his birthday there. Nice could be cleaner.
Very cool place , a lot of retro arcade games that brought back a lot of great memories . Can't wait to do the 21 & over thing this Friday.
A really fun place to visit and get some video gaming in. We visited on a Saturday afternoon which was really busy. Even though there were quite a bit of people around there was no shortage of games available to play. The mini golf is really small and just novelty but still fun. The price of admission for the free play games is very decent and a lot is available. We didn't do anything at extra cost but there were a lot of other opportunities.
This is a nice place as long as you stick to your kids like glue. I had to shoo a grown ass man away from my 12 year old daughter
Just left my son's birthday party there. We reserved 2-4 p.m. with an additional hour in the arcade. The pizza was pretty good, not hot when we received it, but taste wasn't bad. Other food received by family members tasted old and was cold. The employees that I saw, were standing at the desk almost the entire time. They told us we had to empty the party room by 4:15. Of course there are no visible clocks in the arcade. They don't give any reminders on time, so when I checked my phone it was 4:20. So I hurr
This place is so awesome. Pay one price and play all day. Can leave and come back as long as you kerp wristband on!!
This place is awesome! So much nostalgia. So many memories came flooding back from my youth. So many quarters were spent in the 80's/90's! Lol. They have everything. Skee-ball, pinball, shooters, hoops, racing, fighting, classics, billiards, duck pin, you name it! You must visit this place!
Edit: I heard back from Playport with an apology. I appreciate the steps they took to make it right. My son loves this place so I hope the next time we come it will be like all the other times we have visited. Fun! We came in for a birthday party that my son was invited to so we purchased our entry. It was 11:55 and my husband and I walked as far as the menu board to decide what we wanted to order. A short heavy older man reprimanded us for standing there. He wasn't pleasant at all. "We don't open until n
Fair price for an all-you-can play type of admission for an arcade. This place has an impressive amount of games to play. The only issue I had with it was that several games were out of order - that's what kept me from giving it a 5-star review.
This is a great place to visit. My wife and I had such a great time there. Definitely something for everyone there. It has a fun, family environment with helpful and courteous staff. Will go back next time we are up in Erie.
Alright, so true review here. Its a great idea for kids. Thank you for doing so. But the whole process is setup to be exactly like the reward system established at the casino. Try to beat the house and win tickets for very very cheap frills. Nothing here encourages the idea of truthful winning. If you start showing above average skill against a game it will error. And then it doesnt dispense any tickets. And the ticket counting machine is just like the one at the casinos. I know pennsylvania is all about th
We had a lot of fun here! The games were, like, sticky, but they are vintage games so I'm sure they've been through a lot. There's hand sanitizer all over and I highly suggest using it. 99% of our group got sick the week after visiting Erie and it was either from this place or the children's museum lol The free-play games are all fun and the Putt-Putt was pretty cool. I thought it was fairly priced. It's a really big arcade.
So much fun! They have tons of arcade games to play that are included in the set price. Mini glow golf is perfect for kids. The arcade games are a little old for the younger kids, but overall had a great time!! Next time I'll go with just the hubby :)
Fun place. Nice to pay an entree fee to play as much as you want. It now has food as well, which is good and bad. It's decent priced, but no system so you have to guess when your food is up. Then when the food was done then had to wait another 25 mins for the nacho cheese to heat up for the chips and when it arrived it was barely room temp and about half of what should have been given. Overall fair prices, but bland.
The quality is really going downhill since they first opened. Basketballs that are too worn/flat and get stuck constantly. Two player games where one of the two player's controls are so broken they can't compete. Mini golf was fine but we were disappointed in the arcade.
I had an amazing experience when I came up to visit erie pa and sight saw but a couple of my friends took me to play port and an employee by the name of Steven made me feel so welcomed and at home I would highly recommend this employee for any kind of help and such an amazing and kind person he answered all the questions that I had
I've had a lot of fun with friends here. There are plenty of games to play and the mini golf is a lot of fun. Pool may cost extra but it isn't much and it's really worth it. Great atmosphere and the staff are always nice. Definitely a place I'll be returning time and time again.
Was a really good deal for the price. The newer games require tokens but the old school games (think frogger. Donkey Kong, etc) are part of admission.
We were in from out of town and found this on google maps while looking for something to do, and I am so glad we found it. We took my son and his friend and his dad, and we stayed all the way until close. It brought me back to my childhood, and eveyone, both kids and adults, had an awesome time. For 11.50 a person for unlimited game play and a game of mini glow golf, it was a steal. They even had a 90s style photo booth that we took our pictures in and got the print outs like we did in high school for $
This play was terrible. The guy at the front desk had an attitude and was quite rude at the time our family entered the facility. He is not good with kids. So not family friendly.
Fun place. A bit expensive. Front desk staff was a bit rude. Some games did not play well, such as the air hockey didn't have enough air to move the Puck, and not all the balls dropped for ski ball. Food was average. Was not permitted to take in a Sippy cup for toddler grandson, but they had no options for him either. Ended up taking his cup back to the van and we walked outside at least 4 times to take a drink
SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! ALMOST NONE OF THE GAMES WORK!! IT?S MOSTLY RACING/DRIVING GAMES!! THE GAMES THAT DO WORK ARE RUN DOWN MACHINES THAT REQUIRE REPAIR DESPERATELY!!! I COULD GO ON AND ON!! SCAM, RIP OFF ARE THE ONLY WORDS THAT COME TO MIND!! BE WARNED!! I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!
This place is awesome. My kids 3 and 6 really enjoyed the glow in the dark mini golf. All the games were a blast definitely take you back to your childhood if your in your 30s like me haha. The pizza taste exactly like arcarde pizza tasted like in the 90s I swear they called someone and got a mom's recipe. We did the family saver pack and my kids played for hours. We will come back every time we're in town
Love this place! Obviously for 10$ you are not getting a glamorous experience-- but it's an arcade, and I didn't really come in with an expectation of peace & quiet or perfection. Been here about 4 times now, and each time the staff are so so kind and helpful and seem genuinely excited to be there. My brothers love this place and my mom loves having us out for a while. It is loud, but you can tell there at least was some thought behind game placement to avoid deafening. Games are older, but there's an amazi
They were able to accommodate our large group without a reservation and was fun for everyone. We had an age range of 6 to 45 and everyone had fun. Make sure you check out the mini golf! Super fun! Admission includes most of the coin op games available. There are a few you need to pay extra to play but reasonably priced.
Good placed to hangout if you love video games
My family had so much fun here! It was a bit more of a stretch for the littles (6 and 8) to last the three hours but they had a great time and made it the whole time. My 10 year old and the four adults in our party (ages thirties and fifties) could have stayed longer! The combination of games gave us tons of variety. We stayed three hours without feeling like we needed to pay for anything other than free games included with admission. Glo golf was a fun break in the middle of the video games! Bathrooms were
We took my daughter here along with 3 friends for her 9th Birthday. They offered different deals based on party size. I believe 5 people could play the free set games for like 3 hours, get a large pizza, 4 drinks for $55.55. I may be a little off on some things, but they do list pricing on their website. The place is huge with all sorts of arcade games, pool tables, golf, virtual reality, etc. They do have games that take tokens if you want to earn tickets to get a prize. You can book birthday parties throu
Was looking for something to take the kids to with the rainy weather. Haven't been to a real arcade in years, so we figured we would try it out. The price was very reasonable, especially with the amount of games available that were free play. We paid for a family of four package deal that included a pizza and drinks. There were additional games that required tokens to play, but everything was very reasonable. Brought back alot of memories with the games available and everyone had a great time. The staff was
It was 3 hours of play when we went 3 years ago, but now it's all day play. The adults and kids in our group all had a good time.
This arcade was highly recommended by our hotel desk manager, so we decided to give it a try and we were extremely satisfied. Nice affordable fun for the whole family. The mini golf was a nice little bonus also. We will definitely return.
There is something to be said about having a full arcade to enjoy. Most games are on Freeplay and you simply pay the admission and away you go. There are some VR games, Laser Tag & Ticket Games available for extra as well as food. Highly Recommend as its a great place to take the kids both young and old.
The arcade was fun and it was great that most of the games were free play once you paid to get in. It got a little more crowded than I would have liked. The arcades I'm used to have windows, are lit brighter and are cleaner. It was a little darker than I felt comfortable with, especially with 2 little boys. I was visiting for the first time from NC. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The little ones loved it.
We only played the "free play" games, Lazer Tag, and VR (2 times) and there was plenty to keep the 4 of us (an 11 and 9 year-old and 2 moms) busy. No need to compete for tickets for prizes that will just end up with other discarded tchotchkes! Staff was friendly and helpful (offering to bundle our 2 15-minute VR games as 1 30-minute game for less cost and then splitting the time between 2 kiddos!!). Restrooms were immaculate. Didn't try any of the food, but the sub sandwich that one of the staff had from t
Had a lot of fun here. Got the weekend unlimited play. For the price, I wish it would've came with a pizza & drinks. That was an extra $25 on top of the $60 something we paid for admission. My 10 & 12 year olds had a blast, but I kinda wish they had a few things to entertain toddlers. All in all it was a fun time.
Had a birthday party for our child here. Clean and fun, but was a lack of communication. Staff was very friendly and courteous but had a hard time with the bill. Otherwise, all the kids had a blast and enjoyed the pizza and pop.
Had our 11 year olds Birthday party here. He loved it and so did all his friends. Staff was very helpful. Thank you!
Absolutely love this place. There are a ton of free to play games and there is a very cheap entrance fee to get in. Mini Golf although more oriented for kids is still a very nice touch. The staff are super courteous. Really makes you feel like back in the day at old school arcades minus having to dump a whole paycheck of quarters.
way too crowded. i don't usually review but the staff attendance was doing nothing to regulate the amount of people there. our family had to share seating at the same table with anothers who was also having a party, thats how bad seating was. when we left the guys up front interuppted my phone call and told me to quiet down, then tried to police our kids when they were playing out in the parking space. the kids at least had some fun
For about 10 bucks my wife and I got to play arcade video games for pretty much as long as we wanted. We got there at about 3 and could have played til 9. As long as we kept our wrist bands on, we could even leave and come back without having to pay again. Plus 9 hole glow in the dark mini golf was included in the price. Totally worth it! We had a great time. There are also ticket type games, VR, a laser maze and a food counter that all cost extra, but even those were quite reasonable. Wonder fun! Highest
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
