We loved this toy store. Such an engaging spot. The range of the toy selection was super impressive. Our 6 & 4 old could play with so many toys. I could too! You must visit this little gem on The Strand.

This was one of the best toy stores I've ever been to. It has unique, interesting, cool and curious toys, games and more. The store itself is laid out well and the customer service from the owner and staff is one of the best. For someone who values customer experience, this was top notch. Our favorite store on the strand, hard to pull the kids from it once we entered. I'm glad there are toys they can play with and the shopkeeper is very helpful and patient. We nerded out about pinball a little bit. I couldnt get the hi score on Jurassic Park pinball but at least scored some free games.

This toy store is amazing! The owner was so nice and they have wonderful stuff at a great price. I haven't let my little ones really play with toys at the toy store since COVID-19 but I noticed they cleaned off every toy other children touch as well as when my son and daughter played with a toy. The owner of this store is so nice and personable. Had a great time looking around as well as playing with some of the toys. They have cool arcade games in the back that you can play too! Such a great place to buy gifts and explore. Also great for teachers needing sensory items and fidget toys. Would highly recommend!!!

We really enjoyed our first visit to Play on the Strand today! All of the toys were so much fun to look through, and they had an amazing and extensive collection. I especially enjoyed the huge fidget selection. We will definitely be back next time we visit The Strand!

This store is MAGICAL! The selection is unique and the staff is wonderful. We make an effort to stop here every time we are on the island. If you are walking the strand with your kids, it's a must see. My husband loves to play the arcade ganes while the kids and I look at all the toys, which range from vintage to modern. I always feel like a kid again when I walk in this place!

This is our absolute favorite toy store anywhere! There are always unique finds! My three kids (9,7,6) can spend hours in here, and the owners are just wonderful people! One of the coolest things, is that they encourage you tot ouch and play with the toys! Lots of games, learning toys, musical instruments to get started with. You name it!

We stumbled upon this place while browsing and was pleasantly surprised by the amount and breadth of toy selections in the store. The staff were so friendly and helpful! We bought a few things for gifts and they were happily received. I wish we were closer to the area, but will definitely make this store on our list of places to visit when we go to Galveston/Strand area.

I wandered in here with 2 kids, my wife and a friend. We saw some cool stuff but the coolest thing was an employee, Cynthia. She was so willing to help us when we asked if there was a bike pump we could borrow to pump up our stroller tire. She was great with kids and just a pleasure in general. Will definitely come back!

Stopped in to play a few old arcade games, but it was the charm of the store and the delightful staff that made me stay. Cozy and welcoming shop with a well thought-out selection of toys for all ages and interests (even the older kids like me). This store is really cool! I took my 10 year old grandson in there and he went nuts ! He was so excited and impressed with everything they had. They have the unusual stuff not just your everyday junk. They have samples of the toys out so you can actually touch and experience the toy. I really liked that. They also have great customer service. The workers see you looking at something and they jump right up and show you how it works. We will definitely be going back. My grandson says it's his Favorite store!

Love this place my kids and I had a wonderful experience here. Great finds, my son loves things he has to put together and they had the perfect things for him and his sister. My daughter's set of make your own lip gloss was perfect, best quality we could find. The owner was so nice, replaced my son's toy when it didn't work no questions asked. Came here while on vacation in Texas. This place is awesome! It's got lots of stuff for younger kids, but also has a ton of jigsaw puzzles and logic games. I found my new favorite fidgety toy here. The owner and his employees are all super nice, too. Thanks for a great experience!

Such a great store. Most of the time spent on The Strand is focused on the adults not this place. It great for kids and adults of all ages. The children are allowed to test toys out and love on a huge bear. We found and purchased several toys that we played with as kids and will now share with our grandkids We also enjoyed chatting with the owner Mr Bill and his friendly knowledgeable staff A must stop when visiting The Strand

What a fun little store on the Strand! Most of the shopping down there is all about the same with shells and cheap t-shirts, but not this store. It had unique toys and the staff was so fun. They encourage our kids to try everything and even played with them. In the back they have old arcade games and a place to sit and rest.

This place is so Awesome! We went a week ago then came back today, they have at least one of all of there merchandise open for demo. You can play with anything and if it's open you can ask them to open it for you to demo. Super fun place staff is awesome they will show you how to use stuff and other fun stuff. Must go place! Really cute store, had lots to choose from. Unfortunately I didn't find what my niece wanted... toy food. It would of been nice to be acknowledged by the staff when we arrived, while we were there or when we left. But over nice store.

The owner and employees here are all very kind, helpful, fun, and great with the kids that visit the store. I think they just love seeing the kids smiling faces and they have sooooo much patience. Lots of toy demos to experience before buying.

Employees are rude. Constantly nagging you about your mask being up over nose. Threatening a friend of mine who was dealing with his child to put on his mask immediately or he would have to leave or they would call the police. He had it in his pocket chill and complied with the employees request. Three families walked in and out not buying anything because of the rudeness of your employees. We had bragged on the store to our friends and said this was a cool place to come. But they ruined the experience!

This place is super amazing! I advise everyone to go visit it. The staff is super friendly, they even have toys out for the kids to play with. If you get a chance, sneak into the back of the place and play the pinball machine! There is a little bit of everything for everyone!!!

Stopped in to play pinball in the rear of the store. The young lady working that day was militant regarding mask wearing and checking to ensure they didn't fall down below your nose. I'll skip this store next time unless they loosen their policy.
