WOW! An actual toy store. I was so excited I went twice in one day. It brought back memories of childhood and made me so happy to see children play with toys that don't involve a screen. I know where I will be doing all my gift shopping from here on out!!!!!!

This is the funnest toy store. There are so many hands on games you can try out before you buy. There's a knowledgeable & friendly staff who knows about all the toys and new releases. Plus there's an amazing game room in back to play in or rent for a party.

Love this store. Stopped in to find some fun and educational toys for the grandchildren the week before Christmas. There were people in and out but it was never hectic. Mike walked us through age- and interest-appropriate toys and answered all of our questions. We found lots of great options, and Mike's depth of knowledge made the whole thing easy and even relaxing. We got a cool fold out dinosaur timeline book and a machine building set, plus drawing kits and purely fun stuff. He has a mix of old standards

This store has so much to offer. Board games, toys for kids of all ages, and an arcade in the back for parties or a great outing on a rainy afternoon. Go check it out and add some fun to your life!

I described the personalities of my family members, and the staff & owner expertly suggested games that were a perfect match. They even took the time to demonstrate how the games worked, making the experience fun and interactive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for thoughtful and engaging toys or games!

Bret and the team are amazing with such a great selection of toys that are curated for all ages and not something you will find elsewhere in town. The prices are also excellent and adding in the free gift wrap makes it our go to birthday place

We came in around Thanksgiving for some gift ideas and the selection at Play Favorites was fantastic! There was a great selection of board games and puzzles, Bret and Hannah answered our many questions and gave wonderful recommendations based on previous games that we had liked. They have carefully chosen every piece in the store, and Hannah even makes fun and adorable jewelry that's on sale. I peaked into the arcade and it looked like a lot of fun, you can even play for a free 10 minutes on Street Fighter.

This is my favorite place to get toys for grandchildren! Everything in the store is fun for somebody, and there really are toys and puzzles suitable for ages 4 to 104. Plus it's locally owned and the salespeople are friendly and knowledgeable. Who could ask for more than that?

My wife and I try to always visit local game stores when we travel. We try to find a game we do not have that we can add to our collection and to help support the Friendly Local Game Store and for sure help keep them going over the big box stores. I don't write many reviews and didn't realize I didn't write one for this place. Play Favorites is the go to store for games and toys. My kids can't get enough of this place. They love going there to hang out on game nights and play at the arcade. Bret, Hannah, and Lee are the best and I would urge everyone to visit there at least once.

The best toy store around! We love Play Favorites. It's clean, cheery and stocked to the brim with toys, games and puzzles for all ages. We haven't utilized the game room in the back- yet. It looks so fun with lots of arcade classics. It's absolutely affordable, too. I've been in the store a few times and couldn't be more pleased. A wonderful little shop in Front Royal. My kids LOVE visiting here. There is a game room in the back, but also the selection of toys is fabulous. They carry a variety of items, something for everyone.

This place is great! I went there with my kids and they had a great time playing with the train station while I was choosing a Christmas gift. People who work there love their job, they helped me pack the gift without kids noticing. No fussing from the kids and happy momma. Definitely coming back!

This is absolutely one of my favorite places to take my family or go on a date in Front Royal. The arcade is our favorite but we also love to buy here to support a small business (prices are the same as or cheaper than big box stores and online retailers.) All in all a great atmosphere and the perfect place for a date, family outing, or gift.

Friendly staff, willing to go the extra mile to show you how toys work and make suggestions. There is a variety of toys, for all ages. Beautiful puzzles, games for the whole family. There is a back room with games and toys for children that can be rented for a small fee. Very good experience with customer service! You will not be disappointed.

Play Favorites is my favorite toy store ever! I was visiting Front Royal and what a great joy it was to find a real live toy store. It's bright, well stocked, customer friendly and best of all, has fantastic customer service. Mike was able and willing to answer all my questions. I bought craft kids for myself and knickknacks for my grandkids. Plus, I stocked up on cute birthday cards. I hope I'll have an excuse to return, soon!

Great store with a wonderful variety of toys and games and lots of other items too numerous to list. There is also a game room with lots of different games to play. There is a small fee per hour to play. Come in as a family and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

The best little toy store around! They offer a lot of activities and events for kids and adults. The nicest people and very helpful. Always new things to buy. I'm happy they are in Front Royal.

My husband and I visited last week in search of a date night game. Mike was extremely helpful! He recommended several different games with a brief overview of each. We ended up visiting again a few days later with our kids.

This place is awesome and has stuff for all ages. He hosted a free autism game night which was so much fun. Of course we couldn't leave without buying the game we played!
