The prizes are eh and the AC wasn't working. I reloaded my card for $5 and got $10 loaded onto it lol. Also a woman sold us a $40 card for $20 so that's pretty neat. The keyboard game gives a lot of tickets if you can do it perfectly. Got first place on the leaderboard.
Don't waste your money on an arcade/up charge at a theme park. You've already paid for your ticket why pay for extra. The only time we played them was when we won a free game on pass holders day. Didn't win anything of course and would never spend money on it
Fun games, reloadable card. Spend $20 get $5 free
Decent arcade for the kids to spend some time out of the sun. Many of the kiosks for ticket redemption were out of order so there was a bit of a line to get tickets redeemed and ability to purchase additional credits. This is inside Hershey Park so long lines and waiting is their main attraction.
Smaller but nice arcade. I worked it a couple of times and it's somewhat manageable, but can get busy with tougher weather conditions. Overall though nice place to keep warm in winter and have fun
You could rename this the sauna arcade because the only A/C that is running is over the doors and is immediately escaping outside. I felt like I was being cooked alive under this tent. The staff didn't even have fans running. Upgrade this tent to include a more powerful air conditioner or something to improve the temperature in the middle of summer or you are going to have people with heat stroke!
It was very warm in this arcade. Often they are a reprieve from the heat at an amusement park but that was not the case when we were there. There are many games and not much space to move around.
It's an arcade In Hershey Park. Had one small issue and an employee was quick to help us. Exactly why my entire family are season pass holders.
I always liked the playdome arcade, while other people claim the arcade by the drop towers is better, this brings back memories.
Fun Fun Fun!! Love this arcade! Kids that work their are a bit scatter brained though
To many issues with the games not working properly. Been there several times not recommended.
Good selection of games. Nice environment.
Great place for the kid's. Philip siracusa from the reality TV show life with the siracusa's
Nice, but expensive to get into Hershey Park just to play video games.
They have the good arcade but star wars yeah no
No air conditioning in the summer, lots of people in a small area.
Lots of games with earning potential for points and prizes.
This is at Hershey Park and I got some prizes from this arcade.
Not too big very few games
Great place for kids & adults!!
Fun to play all the games
Expensive, even for an arcade
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
