The Play Connection at Jefferson Valley Mall is a fantastic spot for kids' parties and activities. With a bouncy castle for jumping, a big-screen Mario Kart setup, ping pong tables, arcade games, and more, there's plenty to keep kids entertained for hours. One of the highlights is the life-sized train that takes you on a ride around the mall, which our son absolutely loves. A train ticket is only $3, and access to the play area during the day is $12 per hour?well worth it for the fun and excitement. It's
amazing! Fantastic place to have a birthday party. They know how to run a birthday party. You can even have them run everything if you want. We held our son's 4th birthday party there and they were so accommodating and had everything ordered for decorations and cake. And we even brought in some more decorations and they were accommodating. They offered catering which was perfect for us, Pizza for the kids and real food for the adults. We have had a birthday party in Billy B's and their food sucked even thou
This is a fantastic place for kids to play! Not only is it fun and engaging, but it's also impressively clean. The staff consistently ensures that toys are organized and sanitized after kids play, which provides a safe and hygienic environment. It's rare to find a play area that prioritizes cleanliness and upkeep as much as this one does. Highly recommended!
I've never been to this place but seeing the low reviews are gross. People's expectations are way too high and also don't confirm the hours of operation before "driving an hour" to go there. I hope to visit one day soon with my toddler.
We had my son's birthday party there today. The staff was AMAZING and they had the party run seamlessly. The party was great and everyone had a fantastic time. Worth every penny!
My children had so much fun and the owner was so cheerful and kind to us! The place was clean & being cleaned up every fifteen minutes and there was even toys for my infant to play with!
I found this place because I've recently become sucked into the world of Funko Pops, so in the pops sense I think its awesome! Great prices and super friendly and knowledgeable staff. In regards to a kids play zone, I personally do not have kids and thus haven't used them in that sense; however, all the kids that I see in the place look like they have having the time of their lives. Definitely a place I'd bring my kids to if I was a parent!
This is a great place to bring the kids for the afternoon. The staff was super nice! FYI: After Labor Day they close at 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Great staff and fun for kids. This is a great place for a kids' birthday party or just to hang out with the family.
This place is awesome! Unlimited plays on arcardes for hour for 5 bucks is awesome. They have the classics 90s games and a jump castle. Staff is attentive. The kids will love this one!
Just went there today for the first time, and it was clean, bright, and a great play area for kids & parents. It cost $9. for 30 minutes. $12. For 1 hour.
Said it opened at 11. We were all off from school. Several families in the mall at 11:30 waiting. We asked from 11. We all left at 11:50. Very disappointing. Kids were sad
This is a hidden gem. Went here for a birthday party, and my son had the best time! We highly recommend play connection.
Great place to take your kiddos. It's never crowded the kids have a lot to do during their time there.
This place is a joke. $7 for a 1 year old and there was nothing for her to do. Most of the arcade games were broken or could only be played with one player at a time because the other controller was broken. The hockey game was missing it's puck, only one side of the frog game worked, only one gun for the shooting game worked. Seemed like the games were for looks instead of actual play. 20 minutes into it and no apology for the broken games and the kids were bored and disappointed. We left with time to spare
My kids love plying here. Its very affordable.
Great place to bring the kids for a couple hours. Very reasonably priced.
Great place to take your kids. The place is clean and it's very inexpensive. My kids had an awesome time.
Cute place to send an hour but it is pretty expensive for what they offer. The kids had fun and really liked it
Easily the greatest indoor play experience for kids in the area.
Drove 30 minutes to get here so we could play with our daughter. They decided to close early. Ugh!
Great little place for the kids to have some Dave and Busters fun.
Closed, when supposed to be open. Big disappointment for grand kids.
Cool place for children ranging from 1 to 12
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Good value for money .
A very fun experience and what I would label as a one stop pop shop!
Best play place around!!!??????
Great place for the grandchildren on winter days and all year fun
Had fun, but some of the games need to be repaired or serviced.
Great place for kids to go have fun
Great place for small children.

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
