Went for the drive-in movie. Not our first trip, but it was our daughter's first. She loved her first drive-in experience. Inside is the snack bar, bowling, Lazer tag, arcade games, and even bumper cars. It's worth the trip.

This bowling alley was absolutely incredible. The lanes were amazing. The people were amazing. The food and drink was very, very, very delicious. I bowled my best game ever. Such a great bowling alley that i would visit all the time.

Great prices, lots of fun for all ages. They have lots of games and activities, like laser tag and bumper cars. Some of the games wouldn't work on one of our visits, haven't had issues since then. The staff are very nice. The food from concessions taste good and come out hot, a little wait sometimes when its busy but not too bad. Bowling is fun too, leagues come here to play. Love coming here with the family.

This is a fun place to take your kids on a rainy day instead of the beach. Our kids enjoyed laser tag, bumper cars and the arcade. We're looking forward to stopping again and trying out the bowling. The arcade is kind of pricey per game and play time seems short per card swipe.

The bowling was great the arcade not so much. There is lots of games but most are broke or cost way to much to play the pool was okay not great not bad but if you have money to spend the arcade can be fun. The bowling was the best if your looking for a place to bowl that's the place to go

I don't know if it was an off night or something but geesh. Tried to bowl but it was league night so that's on me. They leave like 4 lanes open for us regular folks with kids that just wanna bowl for fun and not be so serious about balls. We had a fun time. The bowling, bumper cars and laser tag were a blast! Some of the arcade games were expensive, but that seems to be typical in most places. We would definitely return as our boys had a lot of fun!

Bowling was great, the games are INSANELY too much money... you better be ready to spend 50-100 bucks to spend more then 10 minutes playing games.. 10 dollars gets you 40 credits.. per game is 6 credits... thats 6 games and some of them are 12 credits.. like I have been places that are roughly 50 cents a game or 1$ a game.. just wild stuff.. we will return but ONLY to bowl.

Worst experience ever second time going there and the bald headed short manager wanted to cause an issue for supposedly ?sagging? my husband had on black jeans with swim trunks and you couldn't even see the swim trunks? the worst part he had just helped my husband but waited till he walked away to come over with the special police on duty like there was going to be an issue. Needless to say I will never spend a dime there again.

Sunday night and looking for a restaurant that was open in Shallotte was very difficult. Came into this restaurant and seated ourselves. We were surprised by the large selection of menu items and the reasonableness of the prices. Thankfully there was one waitress on duty for the entire restaurant area who was also bringing orders to the bowling alley! There was also a kitchen crew who got the orders out quickly. Took the kids to the arcade. Several games that the kids wanted to play did not work. The staff was kind and refunded credit when a game didn't work. Still had fun.

I was very hesitant to go after looking at the reviews on Google. I am glad we ignored them , decided to go anyway and experience Planet fun for ourselves. Awful, I took my mother, wife, and son bowling. I ordered my wife a margarita, the sour mix had gone bad and was beyond drinkable. With only one small sip out of it I returned it for a different drink. I was told "sorry there is a manager here to take it off, or to replace it for the new drink." So I was charged $10. Not the first time i have had a poor experience here.

One star is too much for this place. Tables not cleaned off, 10 mins to get a menu, another 10 mins to order a drink, which never arrived after sitting there for nearly 30 mins. Had to walk out. How they survive is a mystery, except for the captive audience playing games.

The bartender is the only reason this place is surviving. He had to take our order and help us the entire time because the waitresses were too busy tucking their enormous guts in their britches and digging dirt out from under their fingernails. Then, the lady who brought our pizza to the table, didn't know how to fit the pizza on the table, so she looked at us for help. Ma?am, I'm not going to do your job for you. Restaurant we visit often , we understand being short staff but not being able to even order drinks and over 50% of tables dirty went back just for popcorn today and the man doing register on bowling side couldn't be bothered to even making more it takes 10 minutes

We love to come here for the arcade and bowling. The last time we were there, they had added bumper cars. We walked past a lot of unplugged machines to get to bumper cars, so we were hoping they were switching out a lot of the machines on the floor that were broken! The prize counter staff are always so patient with the kiddos! There always seems to be a birthday party going on here, too! Great atmosphere!

Since Kevin has taken over as manager this establishment has improved greatly. The bowling experience is wonderful, great food at Starzs Grill, and fun arcade. They also now show movies in a drive in style. Fun for the whole family!!!

We had a wonderful experience this evening. Amanda was our server, and she has the patience of a saint. We had an 80, and a 90 year old in our party, and they were challenging to say the least. Very enjoyable experience. The credits and cost per game can be confusing but the kids enjoyed playing games and wining prices. We didn't bowl because it was very crowded.

It all started because my friend never got her wings. Complained to the waitress, she would not refund this "sweet" tea. Came in next time, the owner charged out and called me a liar until I showed him pictures. Then, his response was, "if you don't like it, don't come back". My husband and I wanted a date night, and we chose to do a drive-in movie! So much fun ? if you needed snacks, you can go inside and purchase them. You can sit in your car or on the grass outside. They turned off the extra lights in the parking lot for the movie as well. Fun time, can't wait to go again!

Showed up with low expectations for a run down bowling alley with crappy arcades. My friends and I were extremely surprised. We spent a rainy day here bowling and playing some great arcades! Definitely a fun rainy day spot near holden or myrtle. Pizza was decent as well. We played about $50 for 3 rounds of bowling for the 4 of us.

We absolutely love going to Planet Fun. It's a great Family night option. The Starz Grille has amazing food. Their flatbreads are wonderful! Check them out!

It's a fun place to visit and bowl, but you can definitely see the age of this place. The kid's bowling area is so worn out to the point of almost looking scummy. I understand that there is normal wear and tear on things, but you can definitely tell that some parts are neglected by the owner, manager, and workers. I wouldn't eat there, if the front looks this bad, I can't imagine what their kitchen must look like!!!

The drive in movie was a hit! My daughter put a blanket out on the grass near the car and her and my grands sat/lay and watched the movie. It was so nice and the kids had freedom to move around without worry of bothering others. Was a bit nostalgic actually!

Well believe it or not the food here was decent. We had a group so they tried a little bit of everything from the menu. Chicken fingers, wings, flatbread and fried shrimp and they all loved it. I should have won in a tournament hosted by planet fun. I won the high game, on the second game, of the tournament. Keith, the gentleman who runs the tournament had one of two issues: 1. Hes not capable of doing his job. 2. He doesn't like me, specifically. He decided to rerate my handicap in the middle of a tournament because I had the best 2 games of my bowling career. My family and I popped up at this place to go bowling and get a break from the heat. It's very nice, clean and has so many options. The prices were very reasonable and we will definitely be back on our next trip to Holden.

The Starz Grille Restaurant had amazing food. It is worth coming just for the food. Our family tasted each other's entree's and they were all surprisingly delicious, with large portions, and a great price. My kids also loved playing games. The restaurant was quiet for adult conversation while the kids could enjoy the arcade and Lazer tag. The games were also very reasonably priced too. It was a great night for everyone!

We had my sons birthday party here last Saturday and I can't even begin to explain how accommodating they were to our needs. We had a personal party planner who stayed with us and helped us with everything we had planned for the party. We were able to bowl, play lazer tag, bumper cars and have access to the arcade. A room decorated just for us. The food is amazing. Highly recommend having a birthday party here for your anyone in your family.

Very nice place. We've been disappointed in the past by other arcades but this one is really nice! Big area, and all but 1 game was working. The restaurant area was nice and food was delicious! We didn't get to bowl because a slew of golfers came in and took up all the lanes, but that's ok - we still had a great time and would definitely go back!

I went there because of my son. My wife and I were surprised at the amount of things they have. Indoor bumper boats, laser tag, pool tables, a decent arcade.. The restaurant is alright. What do you expect? When you're using hot dog chili on everything that requires chili, not original just trying to keep cost down. Everytime my company schedules ahead of time to come here we get told we didn't schedule it. Which we show the confirmation through email. We are still argued down and told we need to be out of here at a certain time. The man at the front desk is very rude and argumentative when showed the proof emails he still refuses to let us bowl. Idk if they are trying to just pocket the money or what. But it's never been a time we have had the pleasure of just showing up as scheduled and bowling. I'm really hoping it?

We came here for my 6yo son?s bday. Bowling was fine, but everything else was awful. They shut down bumper cars over an hour early. Laser tag was awful. They gave us and our young kids no instructions or help, our son went through two vests and neither worked correctly, it was very hot in there, no refund was issued, and the worst part was the staff was very rude. Some of the arcade games didn't work. Fifteen minutes prior to closing, the staff clocked out and wouldn't let us cash in our tickets for prizes.

My husband and I recently threw a birthday party for our son their and the party planner/manager Corrine was extremely helpful answering all our questions and making sure everything was perfect for that day. Kara our party server who was also serving another party as well was very attentive and made sure to get everything we needed and provided kind service with such a large party. My 13 yo deemed this restaurant the suckiest place on Earth. We went in for a family outing. Our two teen girls and I ordered appetizers and my husband ordered a burger. This is a wonderful place to bring the family!! We love it. It has large arcade area with tons of games, which my kids loved. It has a good-sized laser tag arena, which the whole family loved. It also has bowling, but we did not partake in that. We ate lunch there, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend their pizza and fries!!

Great location and great food. The fries remind me of checkers and the burgers and entrees are delicious. Friendly service and the wait is not long either. Decent prices too. Highly recommend as it is connect to planet fun. So the adults can have drinks and food while the kids play.

I went to Starz Grill only. Its somewhat hard to rate because it looked like i was the only one there. But I was greeted upon entering, the staff was nice and helpful. I ordered their BLT and it was one of the best I've ever had. I feel its underated. Try it!

Our whole family ate there last night and the food was excellent. It was a little understaffed but who isn't now the wait was well worth and the wait staff was amazing really good natured with a good sense of humor even when stressed. Planet Fun and Starz Grille is a great place for cheap entertainment and good food. Staff has always been awesome. We like the cosmic bowling on Saturday nights. The waiter was good but the kitchen staff that's another story. They were not busy it was a total of about 10 people in the restaurant and that includes my party of 3. It took them about 20 minutes to bring our hamburgers. When we got the food it was cold. The sweet tea was horrible... It will be a long time before I will ever go back...

Ask for a side salad with your food. It doesn't disappoint. Used to come here pre-pandemic for the salad bar. Wish they'd bring it back. The rest of the food is okay. There are better options. But if you want a good salad this is the place. Edit: added another star because the salads are so good.
