Great chicken and lots of other good thing. Great selection of pizzas (the counter was full all the time). Great fun zone fit the kids, too.
I had a fantastic time at Pizza Ranch FunZone Arcade! The buffet was fresh and delicious, with a great selection of pizza, crispy fried chicken, and the famous Cactus Bread. The arcade was clean, well-maintained, and packed with fun games for all ages. Great prizes, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere?I'll definitely be back!
Went on sunday about 1130am. Pizza was hot and fresh. You can order your fav pizza when you get there and they give you a buzzer for when its ready. You go up, get as much of that pizza as you want, and the rest goes onto the buffet. Plenty of seating. They give military discounts. Both the restaurant and the arcade were very clean. All the games my daughter chose to play were working. We each got a $5 game card to fill out a survey, that was $15 in free play, so 60 points for my daughter to play in the arc
The new building is very nice and the facilities are great. The pizza is about the same as always and the chicken is of course phenomenal. It's also really nice having the arcade right next door. Plus once the bowling alley opens up it'll be even better.
Nice clean place, chicken really good. Pizza is just ok. Fun place for kids. Pizza buffet is too expensive.
Great service, great protocols! Pizza Ranch has their ingredient list (Allergy concerns) readily available in a binder for easy viewing. The kids love the arcade, but couldn't use the play card from the old NL location and were bummed! ??
Pretty awesome place, food, bowling, axe throwing, pool, huge arcade with lots of stuff!
Super friendly staff! Nice hot buffet and fresh food. Games for the kids. Coca-cola products, coffee and soft service ice cream. Nice clean restaurant and well stocked and maintained buffet. Will be back!
Really good chicken but I am a scared to eat there, The kids working there are very unsanitary constantly playing with their hair and licking their fingers after putting something in there mouth and not using gloves and then touching all the food, eating while they are working on the buffet , I actually said something to the manager but didn't have much effect.
My family and I came on a weeknight and it was not busy at all. We couldn't find a clean table in the empty restaurant and the limited food that was available (about 2 pizzas and a slim picking salad bar) looked like it had been sitting out foe hours. The salad was brown, gooey, and wilted and the food was so old that it could have absolutely caused food poisoning. The staff is less than courteous or helpful and all were just standing around on their cellphones. The manager needs to seriously whip the staff
Pizza was yummy, deliciously, good. Salad was light and tasty. My daughter (3) enjoyed her mashed potatoes and gravy so much that she had to literally sneak in another bite right before leaving, ha! Their chicken was okay, but not bad. Would certainly visit again if the family and I are traveling through. ??
Wasn't sure what to expect. Everything was fresh, and I liked the selection of pizza they had. Then I came to the fried chicken and decided to give it a try. So glad I did!! Absolutely love the seasoning they used and they had hot sides to accommodate my selection. Was odd to come to a Pizza Ranch and focus on the chicken. ?? . . . Was a good quick fix type of meal.
Family favorite spot. Stopped in again for son's birthday, got a bunch of free games at the arcade for completing the summer reading program! Had dinner, stayed to play games, kids made out like bandits, then finished with family ice cream. Can't recommend a better fun stop in North Liberty for young kids and families! Always amazing service and hot food, as well. As usual, we will be back! Thanks for all you do, Pizza Ranch North Liberty!
My nieces and 5 year old grandson love this fun one We will be celebrating his 6th birthday here late October
A little pricey but always best to take kids after lunch
Empty pizza shelves for 1st 20mins upon arriving. Then mediocre pizzas that ran out quickly. Multiple customers voiced complaints and concerns. It did not get better. Won't return - highly do NOT recommend
Everything on the buffet was delicious, and the games were so much fun for my family
Great place, great games and reasonable prices
Nice new Pizza Ranch. Very friendly staff. Buffet was well stocked.
This one is a lot better then Iowa City location! I definitely am a fan of Pizza Ranch again!
Good pizza and a huge arcade.
Pizza was dried out and the salad bar was lacking. However, it was a perfect place to stop for the kids to play for awhile. The arcade part was reasonably priced.
The buffet was cold and we asked for fresh mashed potatoes because the other ones were hard. The lady dropped them and that was all they had. The buffet was not like it usually is .. fresh Was very disappointed.
The food was great! The server went over and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted to eat. Will be going back soon.
Son had a birthday here always asks for this place kids have fun and so do fun loving adults
Happy hour time was perfect for the family! Great price and fresh food.
Kinda small arcade, better for young kids. The pizza buffet is awesome, though!
Gorgeous building, good food, attentive staff!
Great food as always but the Contemporary Christian music wasn't adding anything to the experience.
Lots of activities for the little ones to enjoy
Excellent food. Salad was so fresh and toppings too.
We were there at 1700, best time to go, we had the place to ourselves!
Great staff! Great place for a birthday party!
It looked like a lot of fun. There were a lot of machines.
food was good. no interest in fun zone
Made what you wanted and added to the buffet.
Fun place for family to get together
Really good water ??
Good food and service

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
