Pixeled Arcade and Beerhall

Some coworkers and I went here awhile back on a day when celebrating a few of their birthdays, and we had a BLAST!!! So fun, and super nostalgic (for us Millennials and Gen Z?s)! Plus, it was nice that they sell beers and malt beverages (like hard lemonades, hard apple ciders, etc.), and stuff like that.

I've been to this establishment multiple times and I have had good experiences but also negative. The last time I was there a few months ago, the ATM was down. The machines require coins. You cannot get coins without cash so we were unable to play games. When asking what options we had, the bartender was more preoccupied with working on their jewel art project than answering our questions. Sad, because we really enjoyed this place previously. Unimpressed.

This place is amazing! Talk about a nostalgic overload! The venue is packed with classic arcade machines and old school video games. The layout is exceptional and allows easy movement throughout the arcade. It never felt overcrowded even though the place was packed. The arcade machines were all in tip top shape and super well maintained, not an issue with a single one. I can't believe it took us this long to come here. We will definitely be back many, many times!!!

I had definitely taken my time getting around to it, but this was definitely worth the trip downtown. Well kept, great selection of arcade games, and 99% of the joystick handles we're still functioning perfectly lol

This place is great! All the great arcade games from back in the day! Gen Xers will LOVE the nostalgia of it and younger folks will get a kick out of the ?vintage? games. And for basically a quarter a game, you can't go wrong! Then add tap beers and a few other beverage options; and it's a great place to spend time. Service was also great and friendly! Wish I lived in the Fargo area so I could get there often.

It is great that we still have an arcade around at this point, I think it's important to keep a non internet based multiplayer aspect to gaming alive. There are a good amount of games to try, and the atmosphere is normally pretty good. Only downsides are 1) I really wish they had more of a selection of games. Basically if your not into fighters (1v1 or beat em ups), EARLY era games like Pac-Man or Frogger, or sports games then the pickings are few. The games here are great for the most part. I really love the place compared to most of the bars in Fargo. I really just enjoying a couple rounds of Area 51 or some other classic light gun game and getting in the classic zone. My only major concern is that some of the light gun games the triggers are getting worn which is always a problem. Most of the other arcade cabinets are pretty good. Fun walk down memory lane. They have all the games you remember from when you were a kid. All for a quarter to play. They have a few different beers to try. It wasn't all that busy when we were there but it could be the lack of a sign of some sort outside. But well worth the time to find. Really was a fun time. Will definatly come back again.

I was charged twice Sunday when I went , the Bartender , said to call back in 24 hours if its still in there . I called Tuesday, no answer, messaged their facebook Wednesday, Nothing . I called twice today , left a voicemail ,and left an email. Haven't heard anything yet from them .

Out family loves this place! We like to go 2 times a month on the Sundays and we always have a blast. Not sure if the guy with the beard is the owner or not, but he is awesome! I sure hope they keep this place around for a long time! I wish they would consider having more family days than just Sunday and maybe charge a little more for games because they deserve a decent profit as well. This was my first experience at pixled,and it was great. The variety of games was good, the beer was good and the atmosphere was fun. They didn't have a sour on tap, but the golden ale was on par with other local breweries. I would love to see ski - ball here if possible. It's a fun place to visit if you're looking for a fun date night.

Fun adult atmosphere where you can go play games from your childhood and get in touch with your inner kid. All while drinking beer! They do have pop if you're not into that. Games are $0.25 a play. They also have a Nintendo 64, old school NES, and various other game systems. I hear they have tournaments. I have yet to attend.

Chill atmosphere with a nostalgia feel like no other place in town. Plus the beer is great! If you like arcade games and/or beer this is definitely a must visit!

Excellent retro arcade games for 1 token with beer to drink while you are gaming. They continue to expand their selection of NES, N64, GameCube, Wii, and Switch games along with regular arcade options.

All games in there costed a quarter. They are very well maintained. It was fairly dark in there really my only complaint.

This will definitely be the "hidden gem" in Fargo. Emphasis on "hidden", there is no sign outside indicating there is any bar inside. Trust your google maps and go inside, this place is worth spending time there! Although they have limited beer choices, they have created a fun atmosphere and it brings the nostalgia feeling back to you. I'm excited to return!

Came here with a small group around 7pm on a Thursday. Very clean establishment with an atm to withdraw cash next to a token machine for game tokens. Every game we saw cost $0.25 (one token) but some things like the N64, Nintendo Switch, and Game Cube were totally free! Excellent value, and fun games. The only thing missing is access to food, we ate before coming, but there is a bar with non-alcoholic Coke products available. Will come back again!

Excellent place to revisit games from the 80s/90s. Do wish there was pinball machines there though doesn't seem Era accurate without those. Good selection of drinks minus cocktails. Good times had by all that were in our group :)

They stopped brewing their own beer, but that's okay. It wasn't good beer and it's great that they can lean into their identity of just being an awesome gaming+beer venue without the overheard of being a brewery. Now they just need to charge more than 25cents per game, it's too hard to spend tokens! I bought $3 of tokens and used maybe half of them. The games offer a lot of value per play. Great concept. Arcade and beer. The arcade part is great. Awesome games from 70s 80s and 90s. They have the popular beers on tap then they have their own house beers that they brew. I suggest you stay away from theirs. Couldn't finish half of it. Felt like they just poured their dirty dishwater in a glass and served it. My wife got a different beer of theirs and it was worse. She took one sip and took it back. The brew has gone bad. If you want to have fun go for the games and beer, if it's not their beer

Great atmosphere and the bar keep is always polite and Informative on their beer lists! They do not serve foods, but there are some good pizzas available as well. I recommend for a place to hang with friends!

Super fun place! The games are usually only one token per play, so you get a lot of fun for your money.

Just going to start off with, 'I absolutely love this place'. Growing up in the 90's playing Atari, Nintendo and Snes gave me a love for classic games and arcades. The atmosphere and people just having fun feels amazing. Whether its friends having a hang out or a good old competitive match of Mortal Kombat. The beer selection is pretty good, but the arcade selection is to die for. Will be sure to update with pictues next time I go there.

No food, but there's plenty of places around downtown Fargo where you can grab a bite. Great beer selection and the games are awesome, they've got everything from retro cabinets to an N64 and Switch connected to projectors. Plenty of room to move around, socialize, and place a beer next to the cabinet you've put 20 quarters into already.

I don't think the classic video game enjoyers of Fargo realize how lucky they are to have a place like this. I have been to many barcades that get overcrowded, where half the machines are busted and the other half are emulated MAME machines in a hollowed out cabby running on a flat. Really cool place. Every game costs a quarter. 5 or 6 different beers available. The bartender was friendly and provided quick service. The walls were painted with some artistic arcade style murals that really fit the theme! Would highly recommend if you have the time to spend playing some games and want to flash back to your youth.

Although the bar could be expanded with some more beer options and some mixed drinks, everything else about pixeled is perfect. It's a great low-key place to grab some drinks and enjoy all your favorite classic arcade games. The games are cheap and the drinks are reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking out.

Lots of old games I remember from decades ago. Fairly dimly lit, but makes sense for video games. Most games are paid with tokens, but some consoles seem to be open to play. Pretty clean and casual wooden tables with benches for seating.

I love going to this arcade bar! I heard stories from my parents about going to an arcade when they were younger and Pixeled Brewing allowed me to have a similar experience they had. The staff is always friendly and the games are great and have only had a couple machines not work but they have a large variety. Their beer is fantastic when they have it on tap. Last few trips I've made they have only had 2 craft beers when they used to have 6ish. Still a fun place to hang!

Arcade game selection is great. Service is always quick and friendly. Environment feels like a judge free zone where anyone can come and play some games. Great way to spend an afternoon.

Celebrated my son's birthday at Pixeled. It was great being able to have minors there on Sunday so younger family and friends could attend. Server was very nice and helpful with beverage options.

For a gen x like me, this is the perfect trip down nostalgia lane. While I would prefer liquor, I'm not a beer enthusiast, the selection is wide. Pizzas are nice as well. But the video games are why we came, everything from the old line graphics star wars, to mortal kombat and quite a few other games, this is hours of fun. And that's not including the n64 and nes you can play. Excellent place to visit!

Excellent COVID response since they installed quality air filtration and high powered UV lighting that studies have shown can kill airborne viruses and bacteria, as well as keeping things very well sanitized. I tried two of the beers and enjoyed both. We played a few machines and they were all in good working order. I was particularly impressed with the working NES. They also have Italian sodas for those not there for the beer. Overall, an enjoyable experience and cool hangout.

I love this place and its concept! The owners are down to earth people and the game selection is amazing! This is a 21 and over establishment (except sundays) which makes sense as it is a brewery too. I have met so many awesome people here and the other staff is pretty chill too! A good selection of classic arcade cabinets and a pretty decent selection of beer and other drinks. The staff is fairly nice. I ordered a lime Italian soda and not only was it pretty good it came with a rather nice tumbler for just $4 total

I was very impressed with the selection of games. I went on a Thursday night and I'd say half of the machines were full. So plenty of games to choose from. Beer was good too. I will definitely make it a point to come back here next time I'm in Fargo!

I freaking love this place! I miss the old school arcades and playing for hours. I am from out of time, and Its probably a good thing, or I would go broke being in there. The bar tender is super friendly and introduced a beer to me that I liked. ( I don't like beer).

Horrible!! Staff is unprofessional and rude towards my family!! Games were out of service! I will never go there again and will tell all my friends to never go there! Worst experience I've ever had in fargo! DO NOT GO!! We showed up with a large group of people from out of town and walked in and did not know there were certain days that under 21 without an adult could not be there. No one asked for IDs when we came in. Which would of let us know that my kids could not be there, and we would not of stayed!

Stopped in for the beer and to check out some of the video games. Fun selection of some old school games. The beer was fine, not bad but not great. Check out Can Can Wonderland in Minneapolis for an excellent experience of a similar nature.

I'm not a regular bar goer but this could easily become my favorite spot in Fargo. Really nice collection of games. Could use some pinball machines. The beer is above average. It's not at the level of Drekker or Junkyard but still very good. Great dark old school arcade environment away from all of the downtown drama and riff raff. Friendly and helpful staff. We visited here with our friends a few years back and had a great time! The place was filled with fun games INCLUDING old school Mario Kart which we played and had a blast. Great spot to kick back with friends.

I've had awesome experiences with this place, the bartenders there were friendly, the drinks were alright, and the games were fun to play. The problems I have here were the way the owners speak with the customers and their communication with employees. I wasn't aware of a rule that was in place from the beginning and accidently broke it (I didn't know and have since complied with). The owner was unreasonably ticked about it, which I found odd. I absolutely loved it! Quarter arcade games and beer? What more could a person need? My guess would be that an individual doesn't need to look elsewhere, for a nostalgic blast to the past and a night of remembrance i surely awaiting you at this fine establishment. Whats that? They dont serve food? Well they will totally let you order or bring your own food. Just imagine yourself chowing down on some pizza whilst surrounded by the glorious cacophony that is the arcade.

All the great games you grew up with and great beer and atmosphere. Some of the most fun I've had in a long time. Fargo needed a place like this. The games are cheap your money will last you hours of fun.

We had a 50th birthday party at Pixeled, and I have to say it was the best experience ever. Very chill atmosphere and our server Alisha was the absolute best. She went above and beyond to accommodate everything we needed. Thanks for the great time!!!

Absolutely love this place. While the game selection varies, one thing that is consistent is that everything only costs 1 token to play. The staff is friendly and the drink selection, while limited, is solid. Recommend trying their in-house drinks.

Really cool! Well worth a stop. All the games we played were only 1 token (25 cents) per player, which is sweet! But be careful, you can burn through a lot of money playing these fun games like we did.

Pretty good selection of beer. I was only able to have two drinks here but the overall atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly. You do have to have coins to play the arcade machines, which we did not know that going into it or we would have brought some.

They have an amazing selection of games, great beer, and great service. If you grew up spending all your money at the arcade as a kid, you will love this place.

This place is AMAZING! The selection of games is superb! The quality of the games is fantastic! The price to play is unbeatable! Great place to gather, drink, and play arcade games of my childhood. The beer selection is kind of lacking or too similar in taste. Hope they expand their flavors or change it up. Great otherwise

I'm hoping they have better beer, or at least not sold out of the good brews, the next time I go... they also ran out of coins long before close... shocked to not see any hand sanitizers, as that's asking to become a breeding ground for spreading illnesses. Not a "gamer", but I could spend several hours at Pixeled just trying all the random arcade games and playing Killer Queen. Bring a group of 9 friends (it's 5 v. 5) and make sure you try it (the owners will explain it to you if you don't know how) or grab some random people and challenge them to a match. A couple buddies and i went last Saturday ill list the pros and cons below The good -nostalgic fun -quiet environment The bad -lightgun games were horribly calibrated -no food -there is no signage so the building looks like an old run down warehouse. Trust google maps when it leads you to a big creepy warehouse lol -could use some of the arcade classics like guitar hero or dance dance revolution.

If you are a gamer, retro arcade junky, this is your place. I am epically unsuccessful with even Pac Man. Otherwise I'm sure if give it a5 star. (I was happy to see Burgertime, which brought back childhood memories.) They have around 40 different arcade video games and about 10 taps worth local brew.

I've worked here since its opening and had my first disagreement with a customer last night. She was mad at me that we wouldn't let her teenage kids stay and play games on a Friday night. Definitely caters to a specific crowd as the name implies. If ur the gaming type and like micro brews then this is the place for u. Overall it was an ok experience. If I was with friends that wanted to go there I would go but I wouldn't go back on my own again. Glad it was on my "list".

It's a nice little hangout area. You must be older than 21 years old to enter. If you're looking for retro arcade games and drinks, you're in the right place. Unfortunately retro isn't quite my style.

If you have any love for old school arcade games and great beer, then you have to check out Pixeled. Cannot believe how inexpensive the games are here to play. So much fun!

It was a good time. I'm from Bismarck where they just opened something similar called Craftcade. There's fewer games than Pixeled, but as long as you are a paying customer for drinks and/or food then the games are completely free to play. That could've been nice to have that at Pixeled.

Used to be our favorite hang out in Fargo, but when we came back for the first time since the pandemic we were very disappointed that there were absolutely no precautions being taken. There were no masks on staff or customers. No stations for cleaning the games. The whole place had just one bottle of hand sanitizer sitting on the bar. Very disappointed that we won't be able to come back.
