Customer Reviews

I am terrible at Pinball but I always have such a great time here. Works well for an adult only date night or you can bring the whole family.

Friendly staff, clean facility, tables in great condition. Relaxed atmosphere with a spacious layout.

Best time ever. Great place, great people. Can't wait to go back! Before and after photo of my son after our night at the dojo??

Ordered pizza from Tavern Pizza! The pizza was great, and pinball was fun! Will most definitely do it again!

This place is so chill. Pinball is super fun and they have darts plus pool. Some of those old games are a hoot! I even got a high score on White Water. I'll come back soon.

Very comfortable Clean safe place they have plenty of tables chairs couches video games pinball machines 5x9 pool table in excellent condition clean bathrooms ping pong table just a safe place for children to play very cheap price to pay for a nice evening I had a very entertaining evening thank you Pittsburgh pinball dojo

This place is awesome! Open play on all the pinball machines that range everywhere from classics to new modern games. Snacks available for purchase. And it's is rentable for events! Unfortunately it is not accessible for people with physical disabilities because it is on a second floor with no elevator. But I highly recommend it.

The Dojo is one of the best pinball arcades in the area, and is run by dedicated pinball people. Nicely remodeled in 2021, with many more machines added. Highly experienced in-house techs keep the machines running 100%. Pool table, ping pong, darts and arcade games too. BYOB with snacks and soft drinks available. Better yet, are the friendly, helpful proprietors and the new friends you will make!

Can't believe we've lived in the area for so long and it took us this long to visit, but my wife and I absolutely loved our first time out here. Super great selection of pinball games plus a few arcade games, ping pong, and darts. Will absolutely be going back more often. We only got around to playing maybe 30 of the 50-ish pinball machines they have but my favorite machine was definitely Ghostbusters, followed closely by World Cup Soccer. So much fun, we'll definitely be back!

Fifteen bucks for all you can play pinball is a sweet deal. No tokens, no hourly fee, just pay at the door and play till you're done. A ton of games, all kept in great shape. Good clean fun.

Evan was very friendly, the place was very clean. Pinball games work great. The do have snacks and drinks you can purchase or you can bring food/drinks in. We can't wait to bring our teenager there.

Great place to play pinball! Has a bit of everything in terms of eras. It's also great value for money with $10 at the door and all machines on free play. There are tournaments organized regularly that anyone can join.

Costs like $10 on Thursday nights to get in and play for a couple hours. I think it is BYOB. There are a bunch of great pinball machines, new and old. Next time I want to try the local Chinese restaurant .

Had great time!! The place was super chill and had alot of fun! My gf also enjoyed it. We will be back. She is salty from losing.

Awesome little nook in the wall in Bellevue. Its such an easy going fun atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone and everyone

A ton of great tables nearly all working perfectly, great place to chill. Pool table is a good plus!

Super fun: got a high score on MARS ATTACK! Also they have an Adams Family cabinet.

Good place, not handicap accessible as it's on the 2nd floor.

Great games and a friendly environment all at a fair price.

Lots of great machines and they are in excellent playing condition. I would highly recommend.

Had a great time here as total pinball newbies.

Very fun and reasonably priced. Lots of different machines from different eras.

You will not find a better maintained and varied publicly available collection in the city, and that is a fact.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
