It was great. The servers were kind and always ready to help. There is a separate party area which we used and had the entire area f or ourselves. It has a full bar and great choice of food. Outside food isn't allowed but birthday cake is fine.

This is the best bowling alley I have been to and I'm from Orlando Florida! I had such a good time. It was super clean and so much fun. I really enjoyed myself and the food was also really good.

Pinstack is the perfect place for kids to have fun! There are so many games, a great bowling area, and even a climbing wall. My kids had a blast playing arcade games and winning prizes. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lively and safe. A fantastic spot for family fun?we will definitely be back!

The place is fun. I wish the lanes weren't blue because you can't see the arrows but they look nice. It's a fun place to bowl with the family. Service was on the slow side but the food was pretty good! We had fun!

So there we were bored out of our minds. After eating dinner we decided to go out on the town. But what to do, what can this city offer us, we're in North DFW and there's a lot that can be done. And there she was?the tallest bowling alley I've ever seen. Like looking up in the sky at the heavenly building we decided to shoot our shot. The facility was large and well kept. There was an arcade section, a bar and grill and then the bowling side. It was a little pricey to bowl but we had a good time otherwise.

I had a great time at Pinstack today! When my friends and I went to grab some food, the card I was trying to use wasn't working because of a new system they had in place. The server and manager were both incredibly kind and understanding about the situation. When I asked if I could cancel my order, they told me not to worry about it and still took care of my food. I was only paying for myself, so it wasn't a huge order, but the gesture meant a lot. Their customer service was above and beyond, and I really

Strong sewage smell when we walked in that persisted for several of the hours we were there. It wasn't everywhere or it would?ve been a deal breaker. Still, pretty off putting. The food was fine-but-not-great. Bowling alley food is typically great so it was a little disappointing. The beer was exorbitantly expensive, too. I've been to cheaper pubs in Europe, too. The bowling itself was also pretty bad. The lanes were bone dry. It's fine if you just wanna throw a few and don't care about your score. Some p

Sebastian made our birthday celebration very memorable for our 10 year old. Nathan was also great with telling us about their rewards program. Had a great time! We recommend for birthdays!

I love this pinstack. The staff are so nice and cool and they are very accommodating The VIP bowling is where it's at, but you can always tuck yourself away on a non-busy day on the regular lanes for bowling. They have good games too, as well as a place for the kids to do a jungle gym and climb a Rockwall! They also have bumper cars and laser tag if you're interested! The restaurant is good and the milkshakes are awesome. Great for hosting a Corporate event, a birthday, going on a date, or just hangin

Good bowling experience. The arcade is also decent. However I didn't like that they charge $5+tax for a medium sized fountain soda. True, these places make money on food and drinks but, I thought soda/water should?ve been decently priced.

An overall clean facility. Bowling, bumper cars, rock climbing, an arcade, cornhole and outdoor chess are available. Food and drink are offered to you while bowling; there is also a sit-down restaurant inside. Didn't eat there, so can't review that. Bowling was fun, though a little pricey. Mozzarella sticks were good. Staff is friendly, from the manager on down. Recommended for groups! Would go again. *Photos are edited to remove people.

We recently hosted our child?s birthday party at Pinstack, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The event management was disorganized, misleading, and felt like a scam that cost me a few hundred extra dollars. While the adult fee was mentioned in the contract, their team assured us repeatedly ? both in person and over email ? that ordering food for the adults would waive that fee. We relied on that commitment. Then, just one day before the event, they emailed saying they would be adding the adul

We hosted our Son?s Bday party here and we all had a blast!! The pizzas were hot and yum? the whole package was designed perfectly where kids could bowl and also play arcade!! Our hosts were wonderful and patient.. Definitely recommend this location for some great fun n food

We had the most amazing experience celebrating my child?s birthday here! The venue was perfect?clean, spacious, and so well-organized. Sebastian, party manager went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly, from setup to the final moments of the party. Anna and Meena our party hosts were friendly, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful, making sure the kids had a blast and the parents could relax. I couldn't have asked for a better place or better people to help make our celebration so special.

To be fair, I have had great experiences here in the past. Today, not so much. We were put next to a lane that appeared to be out of service, which didn't bother me at first. However, it appeared a ball was stuck in that lane, and this caused our lane (which shared a ball return with it) to have ball return issues. It took an employee looking at it on two separate occasions to clear the ball from the adjacent lane and fully solve the problem. On top of this, their sodas were flat. They were gracious and add

This is such an awesome place for families and kids to enjoy. The place is bright and clean, everybody in the family had fun bowling, playing in the arcades, and even the food was on point! Special shout out to Hiren and the management team, the staff was attentive and friendly. It's the best bowling alley in DFW area.

Absolutely terrible service or no service. Don't go to bar area expecting to get food or drink. Had 2 tables in entire area and neverhad anyone attempt to serve us. Tried bar by bowling area. Even worse. Stay away

Very exciting atmosphere, tons of fun to be had. Everything seemed clean. Food was pretty good, definitely much better than other bowling places. Bowling, rock climbing, laser tag, a cool ?sky track? obstacle course, bumper cars, the prize room looked like they had good choices. Just wish they had a dance dance revolution machine!!!

Came in on a date and started at the new bar restaurant. I sat there forever and was never seen by anyone. The server actually helped some individuals who came in much later than I did. I was disappointed so I left to go bowl. I tried to order a drink from the bar, and that didn't go well either. Once we got to our lane, the server there was excellent. Probably should've started with her. Poor service from the restaurant and the bar.

Employer purchased play cards for us to use. For some reason, none of the cards worked. I went to the front desk and she said she couldn't help me and that I needed to wait in line at the bowling station. The line was 5 people long, but the 1 person working the desk spent 15 minutes trying to assist the first customer and still wasn't done. There were several other employees around, but no one stepped in to assist with the line. We walked out and went to Dave and Busters. It seems like this business sold ca

You pay for time. Not game. So it was horrible trying to rush at the end and it was uneven bowls...so not sure who really won. If I'm going to have a family night bowling...at least give me the whole game. And literally there were only two groups bowling...soooo not a wait for lanes at all! And the pins were hard to see because of the dim lighting. Otherwise it was good

The only reason I am giving a 5 star review is strictly due to the service my family and I received at the restaurant from Michael he was amazing and very responsive and respectful. We know our kids can be loud and crazy and he was not bothered at all by this which is something we do not see often. Because of his service alone we will go back.

Great place for Family Fun, Individual Fun and Private Parties. All ages are Welcomed. My Lil' Family and I Bowled for 2 hours and we had so much fun, that it seemed like 30 minutes. The Food was so good, that I only got the after pictures. Our waiter Ethan was AWESOME! He was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the Menu. Made it easy to order. They also have a Fun Arcade, Bumper Cars and High Rope Walk. I Highly recommend this place, if you're looking for a Good Time!

My recent visit to PINSTACK in Allen was an absolute blast, surpassing all my expectations for what a family entertainment center could offer. From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff welcomed us with warm smiles, setting the tone for a fantastic experience. The bowling experience at PINSTACK is top-notch. The lanes are well-maintained, and the whole setup is modern and user-friendly, making it enjoyable for both seasoned bowlers and beginners. The excitement of the game, combined with the vibrant

WONT USE PINSTACK FOR BIRTHDAYS AGAIN!! We organized our child?s birthday in March. It was for 20+ kids. There were a lot of issues and mis-management. 1. Hosts were nice but didn't seem to have any experience to manage the event. NO EXPERIENCE!! 2. We asked them to take beverage orders, they could never figure it out. LOW ON STAFF 3. We didn't receive all our food orders. Kids were hungry. FORGOT FOOD ORDERS 4. Hosts were overwhelmed and very slow. I DONT BLAME THEM, THEY WERE JUST KIDS. NEEDED ATLEAST O

Looks like a great family day for young kids. We were only there for a few minutes to drop a granddaughter off for a BD party. Place was packed! Not really my "cup of tea". VERY noisy. Too many kids!?? A DREAM day for a kid though.

Me and my kids always have a good time when we go. Never had any issues and the food is good

Took my grandson Colby here for a vacation he was visiting from LA. and he had a blast. Adam was so nice in the gift shop and Niren was very helpful in Bowl. He got us the sparklers.

Although our bowling experiment is always great, Our server in the restaurant seemed so rushed that when we placed our order, she did not repeat them back and ended up serving the wrong protein for our tacos. (We ordered brisket but were given chicken). Since the price was the same we did r complain and we did not want to cause her trouble. I would definitely advise any server or anyone working food, always repeat the orders back to your customers.

Good family fun including the longest foosball table I have ever seen it's nuts! They have good music nice and loud during weekend glow bowling. Wish the restaurant had more options in general and some gluten-free choices would be nice at least a GF bun but they do have a pizza as big as a table! (check out pics)

Great place for older kids! My kids love to attend parties here and go play over the weekends. It can be kind of pack during the weekends but totally worth it. The food and drinks is pretty good too!

Cool place with many activities for all ages. Nice tvs, seats, food, games. Not sure why they had the north pole temp set, but it kept us moving lol

5/23 Pinstack of Allen Tx is a friendly family fun place. Arrived early Sunday and got the discount for all in our party. We got into lane 18 and we all had a blast for an hour of bowling. Pricing was reasonable and they served food and drinks right at the lanes. Large modern game arcade, longest foos ball table I've ever seen. Must be a dozen feet long. Food was good and milkshakes were delicious, fairly priced. Good time by all.

Super fun place to bowl and play games. Drinks and food were really good. The only thing I didn't care for were the fries. Everyone of the staff that we interacted with were really nice. We rented lanes in the vip area to get away from the kids since it's supposed to be adults only after a certain time, but for some reason there were a lot of kids in this area. Not sure why they don't adhere to this rule.

We had a Awsome time for my Birthday there Saturday. We got the private bowling room very Nice place to hang out with friends & family. The food waa great and service was excellent. This makes our 3rd party there and will be having more. We Love the atmosphere and it's an over all great place!

Brand new place. Very entertaining. Good beer selection. It took over an hour to get to lanes for our large party of 10 with no reservation. But the wait was worth it. Staff were very friendly. Bowling lanes were very good. They have the longest foosball table I have ever seen. It can engage up to 20 players!! Don't miss it.

Waitress, the only one at 1pm, hussled with a wonderful smile. Nachos with brisket were good, but needed more queso. Street tacos with pulled pork were too light. Haggard farm salad was very good. Brunch - Eggs Benedict and Stuffed French toast were hits. Actually, we had a good experience... there were platers helping the one waitress.

We visit Pinstack Allen frequently for Arcade. We recently did birthday party in this location. Everything was great and hosts were always very helpful. Food and games were perfect for seven years old.

Last week my co-workers and I had an event in this location, it was amazing and the service was very good ??, thank you Sanaia for being very nice and helpful appreciate you and your team.

Fun family place for food, bowling, rock climbing, bumper cars, laser tag, ropes course, games and more. The VIP card for games is a great value. The "coins" last over multiple visits so don't have to spend it all on the same day.

We had a neighbors gathering here with our 8 kids and 3 sets of parents. It was great for our kids to be able to run around and play games and hang out while we parents visited. We ordered the King Pin Pizza and a few appetizers which was more than enough food to feed all 14 of us. Overall we had a good time.

This place was awesome first time visiting from out of state. Loved how affordable the bowling was for the whole family and how it was cosmic bowling vibes ordered some wings and fries and they did not disappoint food was good! We went on Tuesday which was half price game day they have a lot of cool games and rock climbing wall. Only downside was some of the games didn't work and still took our money.

I visited Pinstack to celebrate my cousin?s birthday. The bowling area was fantastic, and the servers were excellent?they kept checking on us and made sure we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the arcade games, bumper cars, and laser tag. However, the experience with laser tag wasn't great. The worker didn't explain the rules or tell us how to play. They also didn't change the names on the scoreboard, and we only realized this after the game ended. Overall, it was fun, but the laser tag could?ve be

Had a great time. Nice crowd not too packed to be Spring Break weekend. A lot to do inside and very roomy. The last day for my granddaughter's visit. Her and her Aunt had a blast. I want to thank the two families that made a significant impact on my granddaughter. Her aunt was trying to get her a ball to take back home a pin stack souvenir ball. After several attempts and to no prevail low and behold this young girl comes back and offers her (green ball) ?? ball to my granddaughter. ?? An act of kindness

Jacob and Kitty showed my family the best time ever. They made our check in time smooth although we had a large party. We are from Tulsa Oklahoma and is sad to say we don't have a staff to care at our alley like this. Thank you so much for your smiles and great service and the food was awesome.

This place was fantastic! The food was flavorful and the portions were a good size. The staff delivered amazing service and is very friendly. Management is doing an excellent job! I will definitely patronize this location again!

Always fun to play! We enjoy the arcade most! They also have bowling, rock wall climbing, laser tag, and a ropes course.

Family Friendly! ?????????? Great Place To Pop In For a Few hours of fun & games! ?????? New, clean, well kept, well run, great food & service. ?????? We had a great time. ?? Could also be a fun place to set up company & corporate events. ??

Big beers good happy hour. Kids stay busy. Can get you there in price

They have bumper cars, bowling, pinball, and so much more and the best part is all video games are half price on Tuesday. Great way to beat the heat and have a fun family night out.

Brought kids to bowl and play arcades. This place much more to offer such as bumper cars, laser tag, obstacle course and wall climbing. We've also hosted a Birthday party here. It was the best choice made for our family.

It was our sons birthday so he wanted to go bowling! The place was great, price was reasonable, and their food was great, ESPECIALLY the nachos ?? Will definitely be back!

They were extra nice with us !!! Thank you so much for the staff that helped us I reserved a line for the wrong location in Plano and I came here i thought it will be a huge problem but the staff was so nice and helps us out and let us play there with my kids ??????

Pinstack now has trivia on Wednesday. I won first place at the Plano location with Harry Potter trivia! $100 game card, free hour of bowling, free shoes for 4ppl, and a free appetizer. It was so much fun!!????????

Not like bowling alleys from back in the days & that's a good thing. Spend the extra money to get the VIP lane. It's less congested and more intimate. Food is prettty good but the bowling is a blast.

The bowling alley was great. Neon lights. Big screens. Well kept. It looked new. I highly recommend the bowling. Laser tag was pretty cool too. They had 2 floors! There is a bar and restaurant but we did not eat/drink. The arcade part was not so good. A lot of games not working. Felt like a waste of time and money. The bathrooms were a bit messy. Toilets not flushing.

I've been here several times and it's definitely the place to go with kids because they can play games/arcade whsm they're done bowling. Good food menu at both the lanes and small restaurant. I went to a VIP party here too and that was nice and semi-private. I did encounter a problem but management and my server handled it swiftly and I thank them for that.

My daughter and I had a great time!! We went about an hour after opening and it wasn't crowded. We were able to play bumper cars and all games without having to wait.

My first visit here and to say it wasn't the best is an understatement. I went to change the size of my shoes and the guy rolled his eyes at me. The restrooms were so disgusting, I turned back around. I can say the food and our waiter was pleasant. Management do better!

Pretty awesome place. Some turf company rented all the lanes and they went a little over their times and when we got there the manager gave my table a bunch of free drinks and a little extra time. Laser tag here is also really fun.

I work at Main Event so you may call me biased, but I was very displeased with the overall experience. My family and I came with 5 play cards for the arcade. We wanted to combine the credits and share 1 card. The first employee was unable to and sent us to front desk. The gentleman at the front desk didn't know how so he called someone else up. Now this gentleman, after spending a few minutes seemingly without making progress, made a call on his radio for additional assistance. At this point, I realized it

Such a sweet spot to hangout! I went with my boyfriend on Valentine?s Day to play in the arcade part of the PINSTACK. We spent $50 on each play card ($104 total) and were there for almost 2 hours. I believe it was money well spent! We had so so much fun. A lot of the machines were broken (like, a lot) but we had fun anyway.

Good service. Reservation worked nicely. Expensive. Very Loud.

This is the WORST place I have ever been. Never take your kids, significant other, parents, friends, cousins, or ANYONE here. All the games were not working. The bowling balls smelled. They are SCAMMERS. The staff is disgustingly rude and very unaccommodating. I was scammed 500 tickets from the machine. It smelled like marijuana and there was shady demographics. This is an abomination I have never experienced such ill service before. My daughter got an infection and cried begging me to never take her there

A few of us ordered the hamburger with swiss cheese and mushrooms. There was no flavor at all - no salt, no pepper, no seasonings. I thought it was just me but the others with me agreed they could not detect a flavor in the meat, cheese, mushrooms, bread - nothing. You knew you were eating and what you expected it to taste like, but it was only texture - no flavors. For the cost of food nowadays, I'd like to taste something. The wait staff was friendly.

I was having a great time tonight with my friends when we wanted to get in line for laser tag. I had just gotten a beer from the bar and decided to see if we could play some laser tag but when asking the employee at the rock climbing station if we could play, he told me that me that I was ?intoxicated? and therefore was not able to play laser tag even though my group was in perfect shape to play. I looked everywhere to see if there were rules that stated anybody with a drink in hand was not fit to play but

We were here for a team holiday event. Pin stack in Allen is our all time favorite for corporate events. The private VIP bowling lanes and the service are excellent. The servers really do a good job of keeping guests happy and fed. The place has been well maintained and the decor and vibe deserves praise. The one area of improvement is Hors d'?uvres. The small bites menu could be much better. My local benchmark is the Plano Event Center. Their catering for small bites at corporate events is by far the best.

First time at the VIP section. A must if you want a little bit more isolation. Really good service and the kids had a blast. Can't wait to come back.

This is a great location to come take your kids and family to relax. It is visible from the highway but not as easily accessible. You have to be on the access road and then the turns into it can be easily missed. Parking is readily available but it's got a bunch of excess turns and a poor design. They do have plenty of accessible parking. The location is also accessible friendly. The bathroom stay dirty most of the time and don't get cleaned as often as they really should or stocked. The game floor gets mai

Amita was very nice to me laken was helping me with everything jamarion was kind repeating they deserve a race

Pricey, but fun place for video games. Cards are filled with points and each games varies in points. It's real easy to drop $100 on video games unless your constantly converting points to the cash value. Although, It's a good distraction from your everyday routine.

It was a lot of fun. There is bowling, laser tag, bumper cars, climbing wall and an overhead ropes course all under one roof along with video games. Perfect place for a special event. The food was delicious as well.

We had fun. My gkids Love coming. We celebrated My Birthday on Sunday. ??????

The food was mediocre, but honestly I didn't have high expectations. The mozzarella sticks were delicious, but the buffalo chicken wrap was eh. The bartender was good and made a very good Moscow mule ?? our server was good but would often disappear for 30minutes at a time.. I was surely disappointed with the arcade games. At least 4 times we swiped our players card on a game, the card read, but the game didn't start, essentially eating our points. We had to find an employee to help us redeem those lost poi

We went for my wife's birthday and had a great time! Make reservations! The place is crowded but fun, clean, and well staffed. 5/5 ??????????

Had such a fun time! Great place for family and parties

80 bucks for 4 people just 1 hour, lane 6 incredibly warped. Go to Allen bowl if you are just looking to bowl and not going for your kids or arcade for a non-steep price.

My teens and their friends had a great time. Bowling, laser tag, rock climbing & video games. Only downside... food is expensive!!! And no covered parking. Got hail damage in the parking lot this past Friday.

Chose this place to spend my grandkids birthday. The pizza was wonderful.Everyone loved it.We got the king pen with eleven people and still have leftovers.

A few hours of bowling, video games, laser tag along with food and drink...it's loud, but fun for all. Everytime we go the service is spot on too.

It was a blast. A family friendly atmosphere, with lots of fun entertainment for the whole family. Bumper cars, arcade games, simulation rides, bowling, laser tag, desert, food, etcetera. I will visit again.

Prices are high and lanes are close but it's a lot of fun. The auto rails for kids and adults is super convenient

Games looked fun but were old and run down especially air hockey. Staff did not have a care in the world were just playing games none were at their station. Just was not fun overall waste of time.

This location is a great venue for birthdays! I booked this venue for my daughter's 13th birthday and it was fun! Shoutout to our host, Yvette and manager, Maxmilian! Yvette was great and made sure everything went well. From the event manager, Maximilian checking on us ever so often, to the host and her other assistants checking with us if we needed anything....we felt very special and they made us feel like they appreciated our business. The food was great and the kids had fun with their 2 hours of games a

When buying sides for snacks this is what you get. I don't think it's worth $5 but what do I know.

I just want to say every person on the staff was fantastic! It was just very refreshing to see such great customer service. We came to introduce our kids to bowling and had the best time. The staff were all welcoming and very friendly to us and our kids. Look forward to visiting again! This is probably pretty standard now (it's been a long time since I've bowled), but the bumpers can go up or down for each bowler. So cool!

Enjoyed the Arcades with the kids on a Friday summer afternoon. Got to ride bumper cars, basketball arcade game, kids loved the car racing arcade games as well. Loved the Mario games as well. The fact that attendants were continually walking around for any assistance was ni w when we had an issue with one of the machines that wasn't working and was immediately fixed.

We lost so much time. The pin placer kept taking so long to place at some points. And to w time kept running down. Food is over priced and does not have a good feel. But other than those to points, it was very well kept.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
