PINSTACK

PINSTACK

Reviews Summary

Pinstack offers a mixed experience with strong points in bowling, arcade games, and family-friendly activities, often praised for fun atmosphere and some standout staff. However, service inconsistencies, broken equipment, and overpriced or mediocre food are frequent complaints. High ratings highlight great customer service and enjoyable outings, while low ratings cite unprofessional staff, dirty facilities, and poor management. The venue shines for group events but struggles with maintenance and consistency, leaving some visitors disappointed despite its potential.

Visited for a birthday outing with a party of 8. Started by dining in the restaurant area. The ordering process appeared to go well, however many of the orders were incomplete. There were multiple instances of errors within the orders. Food missing and duplicate items added mostly. As i looked around, there weren't many guests dining in. Can't really say how the experiece became challaging as a customer. Maybe it's the first day? I'm hopeful this can be improved moving forward. Every effort was made to re

As a Local Guide, I look for accessibility, fun and safety. Pinstack really delivered on the ?fun for everyone? promise. It was clean, well-staffed, and felt like a safe and exciting place to spend quality time together. It's definitely going on our list of go-to family spots.

This is a fancy main event - adults or kids can enjoy. Delicious food and drinks I like how when the kids earn points in the arcade, they go to a ?store? and pick out their own items. Much easier than the one person behind the counter.

We went to a friend's birthday party and it was ok. They have bowling, bumper cars, wall climbing, and several VR games. We had the pizza, which was a meh. There is definitely lots to do for the kids. They have a whole restaurant section and sweet treat area as well.

Everyone come see my guy EVO !!!!!! Give this guy a raise !!!!! Outstanding service!!! PINSTACK is an amazing spot for a birthday party! The bowling lanes were a blast, and the arcade offered endless fun for everyone. The variety of games kept all ages entertained, and the entire event was seamless thanks to the fantastic customer service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly. It was a super fun experience from start to finish, and we can't wait to go back for more fun!

Giving it 3 stars because we have had good experiences in the past, but yesterday was not one of those days. We got there around 5pm so there wasn't as much of a crowd, and got a lane quickly. However, when we got to our lane the tables were covered in trash and food from the people that were there before us. After 10 minutes someone came to clean the table next to us, but left ours dirty. Another 20 minutes go by and no one has come to clean the table or take our order. At this point we were frustrated as

Had a successful team-outing I helped organize. Our team got a free upgrade to the VIP suite for bowling and yummy appetizers. The servers were on standby in the suite whenever we needed anything. The venue is great-the music wasn't too loud (unlike at another venue). I recommend having a team-outing here.

The bowling itself was fine, and the food was okay, but the overall experience wasn't great. The seating arrangement is awkward?you don't get a private or cozy space for your group. You end up sitting directly across from other people, which feels uncomfortable. To get a proper sitting area, you'd have to book two lanes, which isn't practical for smaller groups. Also, the bowling balls are shared with another group, which can make the wait time longer if they're using the ones you need. This is the first

My kids love to be here almost every week if they can, lots of games arcade feel with good food and fun. We have celebrated birthdays with pizza and cake ordered from here. Lots of bowling with kids and their friends been coming here for many years now could not complain about anything in particular always good fun experience.

Pinstack offers a wide variety of activities and attractions, making it a fun spot for groups and families. However, multiple games were out of order during our visit, and the ones that were working felt a bit overpriced. On the bright side, the food is good, that's definitely a plus, and the staff is very kind and helpful throughout. With a little improvement on game maintenance and pricing, this place could be much better.

Asked bartender working tonight if anyone was available to check me out at the dessert counter after patiently for service she then responded with an attitude ?you can ask me if you like? I told her never mind and simply walked away. On top of that, paid for a vip table arrived to a dirty table that was never cleaned- & waited 10 minutes of the 1 hour slot for service, when our drinks arrived there was a fly in the margarita.

Highly highly recommend this place for birthday parties from 6+ year age. We had our daughter?s birthday party here with different age group friends. The place really had wide variety of options for all the age groups. Everyone had good time including parents. The bumping cars, bowling, laser tag and the zip line were spot on and we didn't leave a chance to enjoy most of it.

bowling was a ton of fun! service was always good and food and drinks got out fast, bowling is a little pricey but definitely worth it. we got a ham and pineapple pizza, it was super yummy! they have a decent beer selection as well!

Absolutely love this place, had lots fun celebrating my friends birthday here. The food was good the drinks were great and the music was on point. Cant wait to go back.

Tons of games to play, clean bathrooms, good drinks (although service at the bowling lanes is a bit slow), and good bowling lanes. The bowling shoes and balls were in good condition and the medium holes actually fit me! Lane rental was pretty expensive. I'm sure we'll be back, though.

Went for my son?s birthday. The manager there (wish I had his name) was incredibly helpful getting us set up with cards for play and such. Also very kind and attentive. Boys had a great time and the pizza was very good (not always true at places like this). We'll definitely be back.

Obviously I haven't been to a new age bowling alley! Wow!!! There were so many different things besides bowling to entertain the guests. Love that they have VR games in the arcade. There is even an obstacle course that is above the arcade area. Super cool spot, check it out.

Very disappointing!!! The some of the staff service was amazing but some staff were sitting around talking or playing the arcade games. Almost all the arcade games are broken or not working. We went to the machines to recharge our cards and all 3 of the machines were slow or broken. We even asked a worker about the machines and he said he'd call a technician then 5 minutes later we saw the same person playing basketball with another coworker. We finally recharged the cards with lots of help from another sta

Won't ever come back!! They close the place down for a private event. No announcement. Anything for $$ instead of keeping returning customers. Off to Dave?s and Busters where the doors don't close to the public just for a ?party.?

PINSTACK is one of the few bowling alleys with a great food menu and bar selection. This is definitely more of a higher-end location, but it's worth the few extra bucks ??. It's a good family environment, plus it's also cool enough for a fun date night. If bowling is not your thing, you can still enjoy the venue since on the other side it's filled with arcades and games. It's like you have the best of both worlds in one location. It even has an indoor rock wall for kids and adults. I'd compare it to like a

Worked with the events team for hosting a kids birthday. The team was very patient and suportive throughout the booking process. The party was perfectly organized and timed. We couldn't ask for a better host than Mickey. She engaged the boys completely and each of them enjoyed the party one hundred percent. Thank you for making this such a wonderful experience for us.

Dude, this place is legit. Went with a big group of adults and kids and everybody had a good time. Bowling, darts, a million games (VR and old school), climbing wall, bumper cars, laser tag, and I'm sure I missed a ton. Kids are already asking to go back. Emma helped us figure out the bowling scoring and staff was very helpful considering how busy they were. Thanks!

Loved this venue. I took 5 kids here. We had an hour of bowling with some pizza. The previous time we had great chicken wings here. And the play arcade is fun too. Nice, safe, fun-efficient place.

Went for bowling, stayed for the food. Even though Friday-Sunday afternoons is their highest priced bowling hours, with four people it felt like it was fair, and everything was in good repair. Balls with large thumb holes, newer rental shoes, and food delivered to the lane made this experience nice and easy. Food was priced well, and was tasty! My group had wings, a burger, and a pizza, with no complaints.

Very nice! The first visit and lanes are great ! We went in the morning, so the kitchen was not open, but the waitress came to our lane to take our drink orders. There is a separate dining room and an arcade, and every looks clean and inviting.

Came with friends & family over the weekend & I must say the server Shai was very attentive, with it being busy Sunday. It's not a time she didn't engage or check on us. She had a smile on her face the whole time. The service she gave was excellent. Don't find too many great servers.

Had a very awesome time. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable thanks Sam you rock at explaining the choices in set ups we chose the VIP EXPERIENCE . It was pretty low key quiet for a Saturday evening out around 10pm/12 midnight ish. We bowled and played games in the coolest gaming area. Now let's get to the bar area. I stopped at the bar near the Bowling lanes and was waited on graciously by one of the bartenders Carlos and he was cool and knew how to mix the perfect patron Margarita. I ADDED cher

This would be such a great place to take kids, families, team outings, etc. We really do love the variety of games and all that there is to do. However, our experience today wasn't as good as it could have been due to the lack of staff (or so it seemed). We came early in the day, even when it wasn't peak busy hours, but there weren't even enough staff at the attraction type activities like Bumper cars, Rock Climbing and the Ropes courses. We also tried to dine in the Caf?, and again, it was not busy. There

We were there for a kids birthday party yesterday, 04/12/25 from the 4-7 pm. My daughter joined her friends for laser tag at 7pm and was purposely tripped by an older teen girl (not part of their group) and suffered a nasty friction burn on her arm. The attendant did not seem to care and told her to walk out. This is unacceptable for an establishment that caters to children?s activities as such. I know nothing will be done but I wanted to write a review to raise awareness for other parents. At the very leas

This was a fun place with lots of game choices. Kids love it. Was clean and had a large dining and bar area for adults.

This is by far the best bowing alley I've ever been to! The energy is inviting and lovely, the space is well curated and the server I had this past weekend was amazing! Her name was SHAI and she was such a blessing to have. She was very attentive, helpful, patient and funny! I recommend anyone to request for her when visiting. She has gained me as one of her regular customers! Thank you SHAI!

Worst bowling experience ever! Lanes had no oil! Bowls kept getting stuck! And for $74 for two people and one hour is just ridiculous. Drinks were good is about the only positive.

We came to pinstack on a date night and it was phenomenal! My wife ordered an espresso martini and she said best one she has had ! There was a worker by the name of Oscar that checked up on us and made sure we were doing good ! Made us laugh and made our night ! Lee up the great work man !

Fun for all ages. Lots of fun activities. Ropes course, climbing wall, lots of arcades. Brig screens for sports and good food. Clean and friendly staff. I'd recommend to anyone.

Equipment are originally pretty good, but many are not in working condition requiring reset or removing balls stuck in the equipment. Workers are lazy and don't move fast so it's better to pay attention and avoid broken equipment. Bowling is priced per hour. Cashiers are local teenagers and not good at using the machine or math, so needs to pay attention to that as well. They don't have an automated bowling centers in US, so this is not a bad place under US standards.

Always such a fun time! Bowling has so many fun games to choose from. The atmosphere is super fun, from the music to the lights! The arcade games are always fun, and the have a variety of virtual reality games. Food is always great! We had the pizza, and out server was very attentive dont remember her name but she was awesome! The experience is a little pricey if you want to try your hand at all they have to offer, but it's worth it!

Very nice atmosphere, neat and clean, everyone was courteous. But if you bowl, know that they will shut your lane down when your time is up. We were on the last round I thought the would let us finish. Its a hard stop, no grace period

Super fun place with plenty to do for the entire family for hours. It's in a nice location it is very well kept and my family had a wonderful time period. The associates were very nice and extremely helpful. The bowling with super fun and the game was very interactive. I will be taking my family there again and I'll be telling plenty of other families about this place.

Always enjoy coming here. This time it was Valentine day date.

This place fun for the most part. One of the lanes we were using was having issues but staff memeber helping was super nice and apologetic (even though it wasn't her fault). They even went as far as to move us to another lane and extend our playing time. The food was typical bowling alley food and it tasted decent. It was hot when they brought it out and it didn't take to long. The arcade is a bit pricey but they have a huge selection of games. They also have an obstacle course above the arcade that look bo

Avoid dining at this restaurant at all costs. This was by far the worst service I've ever experienced. Whoever is responsible for hiring or training the staff should seriously be reconsidered. I wish I were exaggerating, but the service here was truly unbelievable in the worst way.

Yesssss Ma'am and Yesssss Sir!!! I Had an absolutely awesome & amazing time! I wish that I could stayed longer. It was indeed a delightful experience ??. Every One should Drop~In. Keep UP your Great work ??

Very nice place. Something to do for most everyone. The bowling lanes are nice and have bumpers for the little ones. The laser tag has two levels and kids seem to really like it. The bumper cars are fun, and though not too fast, smell a little of burned rubber. The high ropes course is fun for the older or more confident little ones. The arcade has a nice mix of pinball, arcade, ticket redemption and claws. I was pleasantly surprised at the fact they had four or five pinball machines all from the las

This by far is the worst Pinstack we have been to. Recharge machines mostly broken, arcade games mostly broken. Bar had flat beer and had to return twice. Management needs to pay close attention to staff as they're on their phone more interested in playing games than attending to customers. We will always go back to Allen and forget this place ever existed!!!!! Pinstack, get a grip on this location!!!!!

We went to a birthday party and it was lots of fun, I don't give them 5 stars because the pizzas from the party didn't were on time and we need to wait for about 30 minutes. However the place is nice and there are a lot of activities for kids and adults.

Nice place to play and enjoy with your friends. One place to enjoy laser tag, bowling, bumper cars, wall climbing and good collection of arcade games. Food is not good but for games this is good place.

Pinstack is expensive so be prepared. We went there for bowling and to shorten the wait for a lane we paid the extra $10 to use the VIP lanes. It was a bit less loud than the regular bowling area but it was very dark. I like lanes that are well lit so I can see the lane markers to line up my shots. These lanes have a Pinstack logo projected onto them and it hides the boards and lane markers. At the end of the lane there was a light out over the pins so pin 1 was in the dark. Lastly, the lanes were so oily a

I hesitate to leave bad reviews, because it has to be really bad, but I feel I need to warn people. One word describes this place... HORRIBLE. Got to our lane and it was filthy, not cleaned, floor covered in sticky wet mess. Had to empty the full ball rack and clean our table and seat... all on the expensive clock of course. Had to call for service twice to fix malfunctioning equipment. Then they put a family of nine in the co-joined seating area lane. Kids everywhere, dropping and rolling balls in our

I recently visited pinstack Plano, Tx Location with high hopes for a fun day, but my experience was completely overshadowed by the atrocious customer service I encountered. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted not with a smile, but with an eye roll from the customer service lady behind the counter. I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but it quickly became clear that her poor attitude was just part of her job description. When I asked a simple question about lane availability, she snapped back

I have been to this Pinstacks location multiple times and every time I can say the same thing the people that I come with make the experience. The music alone would give this location a 1 star in my opinion, the music selection needs an update. It makes the vibe very mid and doesn't uplift the establishment. I gave the other two stars because the customer service is great! The people who work there are friendly and helpful. I would return if a friend is hosting something there but I wouldn't go back for my

Ideal place to have birthday party. The arcade they provided is 2 hrs unlimited as part of the package. The kids enjoyed it along with laser tag, bumper cars & rock climbing....all in the package

Great spot to bowl and beer. Food is something to be desired. Had to send back the nachos twice as they were cold to room temperature. When I spoke to the food manager he was great - took the feedback and offered to remove them from our bill. Bartender was super helpful and friendly as well. Will be back

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with an incident that occurred at your Pinstack Plano location today. One of your staff members, Angela, displayed rude and unprofessional behavior towards my children. Not only was she unreasonably harsh, but she also screamed at them, which I found completely unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect a welcoming and respectful environment for my family, and this type of behavior is far from what I would anticipate at your establishment. I am very disappointed

We went bowling here at 11 o'clock in the morning with a couple of children. They were playing very inappropriate music videos on the screens, despite their advertising of family friendly atmosphere. The bowling alley was clean and fun but I would be very hesitant to go back with children.

This place was a lot of fun. Bowling, arcade games, climbing wall and they had a kid walk that was above all the arcade games (kind of hard to explain, but it's very cool). Tried to get a bowling lane but they were all taken. Weekends I suggest reservations.

Great place for events, plenty of things to do, drinks are amazing and everyone was friendly and courteous.

We had a terrible experience here. We arrived at 6:20 PM to reserve a VIP lane for my 18-year-old cousin?s celebration. They assured us the lane would be ready by 7 PM, but at 7:15 PM, we were still waiting. When we followed up, the staff admitted they made a mistake and informed us that VIP lanes wouldn't be available after 8 PM because of a policy about kids. They then offered us a regular lane?but with a 50-minute wait! Not a single apology was offered, and no one took the initiative to escalate the iss

Let me start by saying the bowling and games are very fun. They have tons of stuff to do and you can have a great time here. The 3 star rating is mostly due to the food side of the building. They got my brothers order wrong and when we brought it up, the server just scraped off the stuff we didn't want and gave us the plate back. The mechelada I had was probably one of the grossest drinks I've ever had. They put way too much black pepper in the drink and server couldn't even bring the drink to the table wit

I have visited this location 3 consecutive days in a row and the bar service has been getting worst on each trip., by the end of the week I will probably have to get my own order. The staff just walk by and don't ask if you have been helped or anything. I would think if you are sitting at the bar with no glass and or plates in front of you then assistance might be in order. Alex came and ask if I had been helped after I had been sitting for approximately 20 minutes. He was very helpful afterwards. I don't

Had a great time ate 1st and my waitress didn't know the menu well so it didn't come out the way I asked but was ok, she was super nice and made up for it with a free dessert. Bowling was fun, loved that I could make the bumpers come up just for me and not my friend. I lost my wallet and someone was nice enough to return it right away. Good experience over all

Celebrating my birthday with 8 friends and family! The food was great!

They need more restaurant staff..we wait 45 min for the food of 4 adults and 4 childrens . Food is blend. We have to wait another 40 min just to get our check when our server apologised 4 times saying that shes by herself. She only have 3 tables.. is hard to get a card or refill one for the games since the machines are out most of the times and the ones that work are busy. Expect a charge of extra 18% service add if you plan to eat for a Bday party.

This place is a combination of an arcade and bowling alley. It also has a restaurant and a bar. The games were pretty cool but the prizes are expensive. The food was just ok. I ordered a burger and had no problems. They cooked it how I ordered it and the bun was really good bread. My family ordered the nachos and we didn't realize it came with guacamole and we asked for a new one because my brother is allergic to avocado. When they brought it back, it was just scraped off so he really couldn't eat them anyw

Good place for playing gave with multiple team. You can reserve one or more lane.

While the decor is modern, it's clean and the staff are very friendly; this place is in need of serious repair and better business practices. Due to a multiple bday parties, the bowling assist ramps for children we're all in use. When we finally got one it was broken. We paid for 90 minutes of bowling but spent almost 30 minutes of it waiting on broken pin resets. We were moved to a different lane after the first lane broke twice resulting in waiting for nearly 20 minutes. The second lane broke with 15 minu

This was an enjoyable place. However, it is somewhat pricey. The bowling was fun, but there's really nothing it's interactive for the end-user. The laser tag I would say it was probably the most fun. There course on the inside is very well designed. I really do like the fact that they have wine on tap. And they have decent wine. I did not try the food, but their average price of an appetizer was $10. Which is kind of pricey for an appetizer at a bowling alley. It's set up to be like a trendy bowling alley.

Very fun place, lot of very arcade games, bowling and bar. I went for a corporate event and we had lots of fun. The staff was very nice.

Pinstack provided me with my first rock climbing experience, which I thoroughly enjoyed! The facility offers a range of activities like bowling, arcade games, and laser tag, creating a fun and lively atmosphere. However, the service was a bit slow during my visit, especially given the peak hours. Additionally, while the food was decent, I found it to be a bit overpriced for the quality. Overall, Pinstack Plano is a great place to try new activities and have fun with friends, despite some room for improvemen

Went here for an after baby shower celebration. Really surprised at how management handled some situations. We initially tried to figure out how to reserve some lanes/food for our group but the phone options didn't lead us to who we needed to speak to, so we ended up trying to reserve a section at the restaurant. I was advised they wouldn't make a reservation, but would keep in mind I was going to have 30+ people arriving around 6:45 needing food and drinks. (My suggestion) I didn't want to overwhelm them a

The venue as a place to go have fun is good, bowling is what I'd expect from a venue like that. The food is crappy. The only good items are anything fried, and for obvious reasons. We ordered a burger and quesadillas. The burger was mid at best, and the quesadillas are by far the worst I've even had. Chicken tasted like it was canned chicken but from a tuna can. Left a horrible taste in my mouth.

Came in on a Saturday around 1 and were able to get an alley in about 20 min. Price was much better than I anticipated - after $4.50 rentals per person, it was $84 for an hour and a half. The price goes up after 2 o'clock, so I recommend getting in line before then. Beer prices weren't bad either, got a 32 oz Dos Equis for $11. We tried extending our time but by 3:30 they had a 2.5 hour wait and we couldn't extend due to them being on a wait.

Thank you Faith in the prize room for making these babies night you where so patience with them a true angel your kindness and work ethics speaks for its self!! Thank you for helping tonight!! Go see Faith for all your prize picks!!

Excitement throughout the place, very clean, taken care of....better than D&B in my opinion,,,, what made it better, the versatility, and everything worked!!!

What a great place to have fun with your family, did enjoy bowling time. We had bad experience on the food place, although we were the only ones there, no one care to take our order, we were there for 5 minutes then we left

Good bowling and arcade , they need to improve laser tag , some of the laser tag guns we're not working and some were changing lights (one side red and one side blue) which makes it difficult to know which team you are on

The team and I had an amazing time together, and it showed how a productive work meeting can be turned into a fun experience. The all-day meeting was complemented by a delicious brunch and dinner setup. The VIP room and the bowling section elevated our experience. The only area that needed improvement was having more staff present. Nevertheless, the team was considerate enough to clean up after themselves.

A gaming facility that rivals the best of Las Vegas and even adults will enjoy taking their kids here. Our kids loved the ropes course and the laser tag. There are several four player over sized video games that a great for families. When it's times to eat the restaurant servers quality moderately upscale bistro style food for Mom and Dad while still offering the classic kid favorites like pizza and burgers etc. They also have a nice selection of wine and beer.

Come to Pinstack for unstoppable fun! Great place for a fun time with friends and family! Too many games and so many bowling lanes. It is very crowded on holidays and weekends so plan in advance. I had to wait for almost 2 hours to get a bowling lane so I spent the time in the gaming arcade. The food tastes great too. A bit pricy but the fun is worth it.

Great place to go with a large group of friends. Excellent service, great food and value for the diversity of available activities.

My granddaughter had fun, even though her auntie didn't win that big ole teddy bear. The drink was good, no alcohol in it. That pizza ohhhh my goodness it was delicious ???? every last bit. We had a great time before it got busy so we enjoyed walking around and choosing games she wanted. It opened at 10am we got there a little after 11am and left at 1pm. A couple of the kiosks didn't work.

We LOVE IT when we get sales material slid under our door with a clear no soliciting sign. THE BEST.

This is our 3rd time bringing a work group. Its a fun place with multiple activities. If you need a group activity or team building event. Come here

Really enjoyed our time here. Staff was great and everything was very clean and nice!

Had a blast with the family

Great place for games, bowling and drinks. 36 inch pizza and appetizer sampler was huge!

Fun place! We did a Birthday bowling package with game cards, well organized, and a very good time!

Here now...2pm on busy Saturday--spend $200 on cards for kids and ropes course is closed, laser maze took the credit but doesn't even work, climb wall had one kid it and now it's closed again for a break. Bumper cars is the only activity the can do and then play the games...some of which don't work. Only one air hockey table-always occupied. The other large table out of order. Such a disappoitment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
