We love Pinheads and Alleys! Lanes are fantastic and food is great! Try the chicken tenders and pretzels! And when you finish bowling kids love the arcade! Prize room better than most places! I suggest making a reservations because this place fills up!
Had a lovely time tonight. The bar was full but they managed to get us seated immediately. The server was crazy busy so we had to wait a little bit. Not an issue. The food was really good and came out quickly.
Very clean, nice, staff are very kind and helpful. Food is great. Music is good. No wait time. Drinks are good. I dropped my ring down the sink in the bathroom and they did not hesitate to help me get it. It wasn't even expensive. I just really liked it and they helped. They were super busy and the boss/ manager got on his hands and knees and got my ring. Love this place!
Come to this establishment if you want to have a great time with no issues. Plenty of space, the drinks are tasty, and the food is actually fire! The cauliflower pizza and amaretto sour is my favorite meal.
I would love to say it was a good experience, but it was not. The entire time that we were there, not one person took our order. We went up to the bar to order after waiting for 30 minutes. We got yelled at to wait at our lane. Nobody came then either. Then the lane jammed and it still deducted time instead of freezing it. Not a great experience.
Place and service is fantastic. Also, the food was great! Highly recommend making reservations online before.
It's a good atmosphere, and that's really all I can say. The lanes are drier than the Sahara, the alley opened up 2 hours ago....? Food is expensive and average at best. We waited 30 minutes for a lane. It's a decent place if you don't expect quality bowling.
If anyone is at loss for an affordable, unique wedding venue I have a curve ball idea for you. I had my wedding ceremony/reception at Pinheads Bowling Alley in Fishers, IN 5.10.24 and it was absolutely AMAZING! The ceremony and meal was in the Alley Ale House and for the reception we were hosted in one of their 4 lane private bowling suites for 40 people. You might think, ?Really? A bowling alley?? Hear me out: +Multiple Full Service Bars (no effort in dealing with finding a bartender or getting insurance)
The pizza used to be so good. Not sure what changed, but it tastes like cardboard now. The cheese has a horrible texture and no flavor. The food and drink prices are way too high. Arcade games never work. definitely not affordable for a family fun night.
My brothers and I rented out a back room to celebrate my mom?s 70th birthday party with all of the eight grandkids and five kids and spouses. It was wonderful! I was very impressed. We had great service. The food was very good. The kids loved the private bowling lanes. It was so great to have a private restroom just for our party and plenty of room to spread out, talk and really enjoy ourselves. I would absolutely do this again.
Chris the bartender has been our dedicated guy for our league all season. He provided cups and pitchers of water and, for those who wanted to drink or order food, was always super quick in terms of service. Please ask for him if you visit!
Nice clean place...and a nice entertainment facility. However, as far as bowling goes, there are several pairs of lanes that need pinsetter alignment work that even Ray Charles could see, and this just doesn't get taken care of. That's one of the reasons we stopped bowling leagues here. There are also a few food menu items that used to be good but are now just so so.
Suzanna was great, service was awesome. Food was good. Unfortunately the kitchen told us we couldn't get mamisake seasoning with the tenders. Why wouldn't they do that if they have it as an option with the wings? Very disappointing that the kitchen would consider their customers.
I have been coming here for over 10 years and enjoy the venue. The waitstaff is attentive and the food is tasty. A little pricey on the drinks but all-in-all a good place to go. They have an outdoor volleyball area, complete with a nice tiki bar where you can be served while watching the sand volleyball. There is also a cement patio area with several tables for people to eat and drink between games. The reason I'm writing this post is to point out that they allow dogs in to the volleyball area. Althou
We booked for a wedding party and our waitress was so nice very friendly and helpful she made our night amazing. The private room was spacious and clean one thing I would recommend is some type of speaker to play music in the room. Will be back with my whole family next time.
I bowl in a league at Pinheads on Wednesday evenings - we used to bowl at another local alley. Pinheads is always clean and the staff is always friendly and quick to help. Marie is fantastic with her organization of the league and general help. Chris was in charge of any food/drink needs when we bowled and I can't say enough good things about him. He remembers not just our names, but also our food and drink orders. He is always hustling taking care of the 9 teams we had in the league (and we have some need
The atmosphere was fantastic, and we had a great time with my family. The chicken wings were incredibly tasty. It was just odd that they needed to hold onto the credit card all night when ordering. Perhaps it's a US practice, as in Canada, servers aren't allowed to handle customers' credit cards.
My family and I had an awesome time bowling, playing games and socializing! Chicken Wings, Pizza and Lemonade were super tasty as well as delicious! We will be going back soon! Thanks for providing a place where family and friends can have a great time together!
It's a huge place, easy to get a large group together. Everyone was so nice, even during a busy time.
We had our high school orchestra social here this week and it was perfect! Joanna and Kelly were incredibly accommodating and very helpful! We've decided to make Pinheads our annual social spot! Thank you so much for a great time!
We went for the kids bowl free program. We ordered a large order of bread sticks and a Large cheese pizza. The bread sticks were good but the pizza was awful. Way overcooked !!
Pinheads and Alleys Alehouse delivering best in class service. Truly in a league of their own. Pinheads created an atmosphere that is fun to bring family and friends. Pinheads has something for everyone from 40 bowling lanes, a huge arcade to get your game on, or grab a nice meal made in the scratch kitchen.
I have been at the Alley's Alehouse many times before and I have never had the wost experience. The waitress we had was not present. We had to call her over every time we needed something. We ordered food amd didn't get it until almost an hour later! I asked to speak to a manager and he did apologize but he was not sincere. To top it all off, someone ordered a grilled chicken ?? and got fried, so they took it back and it took 15minutes to come back out. I do understand they were busy but they had
We were there on Saturday 3-26. The food was great but our server, Alanna was outstanding! We had 11 in our group and she handled all of us efficiently; with a great terrific sense of humor! We'll be back!!
Very good setup for our bowling group and always appreciate the great service from Chris who works the bar/restaurant service at the lanes. Pinheads always has well-maintained and clean lanes, very good food and bar options, with helpful and professional staff. Thanks!!!
Pinheads is a fun, lively place with a lot to offer?great bowling, good food, and a family-friendly vibe. We were having a great time, but my phone died early in the visit, and there were no charging solutions available. No portable charger kiosks, no outlets I could find?nothing. It was super frustrating not being able to take any pictures or videos of my son bowling. Moments like that are worth capturing, and not having a way to charge my phone really took away from the experience. With so many entertain
The food is amazing and the bar is even better!!!
Took my daughter and grandson for 1.5 hour bowling day and for the most part was good experience, a little repeated trouble with settings took some time off of fun. I would recommend always be early and have them test the settings before you start to get full time paid for by you. I would also say by being early everyone has shoes on fitted and ball selected. Employees were fantastic and accommodated our requests.
Pinheads is a great place to bowl, play arcade games, and just have a blast! We went on a Friday evening and although it was quite busy, we did not have to wait for a lane. Being a handicapped person in a wheelchair, I was happy to see that there was a lot of room to maneuver throughout the establishment. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because they have no drink options for diabetic customers, such as Pepsi zero.
Our daughter suggested bowling for some Friday night entertainment. What a great choice. Huge facility, clean inside and out, lots of fun activities, great food and drinks. Pizza was really good and the bowling fun. Great place to entertain and family fun.
Joanna, our server, was exceptional! We booked the private meeting room for a team meeting. Joanna helped set the tables, connected our device to stream on big tvs and checked in with us regularly in a non disruptive fashion! Then we moved to private bowling suite where the amazing service continued. We added more food multiple times and she was always available for help! Thank you Joanna and thank you pinheads for such an amazing setting. Will be repeat customers!
We only ate in the restaurant area. Food was good overall, but the nachos were really bad. Barely any toppings at all for $17. Service was very, very slow. Took 20+ minutes to get our drinks and only half the tables were full, we didn't receive multiple things we asked for (like more plates), and we were ignored when we expressed our frustration about the nachos. Might return to bowl at some point, but will not be eating there again.
This is the cleanest and coolest bowling alley I have ever been to. The employees were friendly, the nachos were awesome, the selection of bowling balls and lanes were great! They have nice private bowling rooms that can be rented out as well. Open bowling, you can buy time on the lane, and continue adding time. Just make sure you start bowling right away so you don't lose your time putting on shoes or grabbing a drink! I look forward to going back and sampling other menu items. I would definitely conside
Tick expensive in the arcade, IMO, but maybe that's the going rate? Yet, my kids love it and that's makes me smile.
This place is absolutely amazing! Took the family here to surprise our daughter for her 15th birthday, and we all had a blast! Can't wait to go back!!
We have been to Pinheads numerous times and it has always been a great experience. Whether it was just us two or with the kids, Pinheads is an enjoyable time. We have bowled in the back room and the front lanes, we have been to the arcade numerous times, and have enjoyed the bar atmosphere as well. You can't go wrong. I will say, it can get a bit busy and you can experience a wait on weekends/birthday season. Which is understandable. Also, if you are planning on going, sometimes it is good to call ahead (as
I love the overall atmosphere and variety of entertainment. From vr games, bowling, outdoor volleyball and live entertainment... there's something for all taste. Great restaurants/bars and the drinks are amazing. Ask for Kelly the bartender. Great personality and pouring skills.
I have taken my son to Pinheads for the Arcade a few times a year. Occasionally, we bowl, as well. The bowling facility is really nice, and the at-lane service for drinks and food makes it easy. (Make your reservations early for busy days and weekends.) As of today, the arcade appears to be rolling out some new card technology, and there are some growing pains?a few machines were not functioning and the card machines ran out of the new RFID card for a time. As they work this out, it should run pretty smoo
Delicious and affordable food, pizza is exceptional! You don't have to bowl to enjoy the environment, they have a seating area out in the middle of the lanes and some seating by the arcade that can be served but not required. Gift shop for tickets has high ticket prices but there were some tiny, 2" squishmallows for about 400 which is attainable in one or 2 visits. Self serve kiosk available to buy and reload arcade cards. Balls, shoes and arcade games are all clean and it's just a real cool, cozy place to
We were here for a group party. It was fun, but I wasn't impressed with the games. (The basketball hoop was so high, and the beer pong game wasn't quite working right. I felt like there wasn't a good variety of games either.) The large space for groups was nice, and the bartenders were great. I'd like to go for bowling sometime.
Great place for bowling, arcade, and sand volleyball....and the best part is the food and drinks in the restaurant are actually good. Way better than most bowling alleys. The restaurant is quite big too.
Had my daughter?s birthday at Pinheads today. No reservation when we showed up. Chris hooked us up with the bowling suite. I had four kids with special needs so this was perfect for us. Miranda was amazing as our server! They went above and beyond to make it seamless. 100% will do it again! Thank you Chris and Miranda!
I wanted to leave a positive review for Melissa, the sales manager. She was AMAZING to work with when trying to book a large group event. Super responsive and provided quotes within minutes. I highly recommend working with her to book any events here!
Always a fun time at Pinheads. They offer a bunch of competitive games if theres more than just you playing. As you can see, I eeked out a small victory over my son. He got me back on Connect 4 due to two lucky bounces. We only played in the arcade so can't comment on other things.
I cannot believe how terribly the staff treated a group of special needs adults who were there on Monday. My son and others were on the verge of tears, being made fun of by the staff. They left without incident and will never go back.
We had a private room with our soccer team. Plenty of space and dedicated staff working with us was very nice. Very busy and food/drinks were reasonably priced.
Most likely to give 4.7 stars. Was a lot of fun and kids enjoyed it a bunch. Food was really good and staff was friendly. It would be nice to be able to get shoes beforehand so you don't waste time while your getting into your lane. Plus with 5 kids it's nice a lane only costs $25 an hour. Overall great experience but need a few more lanes.
I visited Pinheads - Alley?s Alehouse recently and had a less than satisfying experience. The check-in attendant had an odd sense of humor, the bar was out of several drinks, and the service at the restaurant was slow despite being one of few customers. My beer order never arrived, and appetizers were served with the main course. Overall, not a great experience.
The experience with bowling, arcade, and family fun was a great experience. The food on the other hand was not. I had to return my nachos because they were cold and they returned with another plate of cold nachos! Our server was very slow, we asked three separate waiters for a spoon and I didn't get it till 30 minutes later when my daughter was already eating her soup with a fork! Not to mention we had got wings and they touched a young man?s neck, the sauce was all on his neck it was disappointing and disg
Thanks to all bowling and restaurant staff, we had a wonderful time. Nicholas was particularly helpful, and kept our party of 25 organized, served and more than that, he helped me keep my sanity during the whole party. Nicholas was so fun, while also being attentive and professional. A huge thank you to Nicholas and of course all the other staff including Eugene, Duke, Emily, Sidney, Makena, and Kye. Thank you, we will definitely book again. ??
I don't even know where to start so I guess from the beginning. So many things went wrong, one after another. We came in on a Friday during lunchtime, not busy at all. The restaurant was seat yourself, we did. We waited. A server came and took our drink order, one drink being a draft beer. She brought out our drinks, not the beer. Waited for the beer, it came out and was a bottle?okay. Then she tells us someone else will be taking care of us, cool. She comes and takes our order, we start with an appetizer.
So, I should preface this review by saying that I typically tell my family that you can't put a price on a family experience. We frequent this place often and have always had very pleasant ( though expensive ) experiences. Still believing that you can't put a price on family fun, that didn't stop me from panicking when I found myself losing my arcade game card while playing in the arcade with my young niece. We save our points from multiple trips and this card had about 13,000 tickets on it and remaining pl
Fun cool modern place. We are league bowlers from out of town and I asked they put us on the freshest oil lanes. They placed us on a unused lane but we discovered that this is not a league alley. Oil was so minimal and short. It felt like we were on No oil conditions. Overall it was fun, and once you realized we're not on a house shot, we had fun. We were there Friday around 3pm and it wasn't busy. Staff were friendly and prices reasonable. I'd bowl there again.
Love playing Volleyball here on Thursday nights. Mikala the bartender does a fantastic job with handling multiple people at the same time and serving food as well.
Had a couple drinks, atmosphere was nice considering it was a bowling alley. There was some confusion about who was going to be our server and we were asked maybe 5 times if we were getting food, but overall our server was great and had a good time.
Our work holiday party at Pinheads was a great experience! The food was great, the atmosphere was so fun, and the overall vibe was perfect for celebrating. A big thanks to our server, Joanne, who was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!
I regret to say that our recent visit to Pinheads was disappointing. My girlfriend and I reserved a lane for 8:30 PM but encountered several issues that hindered our experience. Firstly, the customer service at check-in was lacking. After receiving our shoes, we were told to stand aside and wait for our lane without being given clear instructions. When we asked for clarification, we were informed that our names would appear on the screen, followed by an apology for the staff member being busy. While we und
Joanna was incredible! Best VIP experience ever. We will be back!
Very nice and clean. Highly recommend for family outings. The food was great! Love the desserts!
Took my 3 year old grandson here for a Saturday afternoon, we both loved it. Great environment lots of fun games, and great food. We will definitely be back.
I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into Pin Heads for the first time, today.. I pictured another old, stinky, over priced bowling alley in my head and when I walked in, I thought I was in a nice high end family fun center!! The food was delicious, the staff is so nice and helpful.. the one thing I didn't like about it.. the arcade.. the arcade is confusing for me let a lone my 6 year old.. there's cards that get money put on to them, seems smart, swipe the card at the game and that's it!! Well no it g
Khareen is one of the best servers that I have ever been blessed enough to be waited on, she never fails to deliver wonderful service with a great smile. Mak is just as good, even when she's bartender she still makes the point to deliver service to the tables she can get to near her station, truly above AND beyond.
This is one of the best places to host a party or event. The staff is very accommodating. There is plenty of space here. The service is great. The food is good. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. There is something for everyone to enjoy.
Came here this evening for my sons birthday party. We had rented out two lanes and unfortunately many party guests cancelled last minute. We were able to cancel one lane and Pinheads staff were very compassionate and supplied gift cards to help his evening party go anyway. We were gifted money cards to the arcade just to lift his spirits. On top of all the care we received here, the waiting staff were off the charts as well. Highly recommend!
Literally love Alyssa that's my girl. I'm only coming if she's there if she's not there just close the whole establishment lolllll jk she's cool !!!! Request her seriously, and make sure you take care of her she's worth the whole experience.
Seriously hidden Gem , Has bowling , arcade is great size with great games ! And even better prices probably the best ones from any place & reasonably priced . Let's not even talk about the food was seriously delicious . I would definitely have an office party here or a birthday party here . By the way the employe Cristian at the arcade was beyond amazing ! I've seen other arcade workers that would be bored with their job but this man interacts with the guest which makes the experience even better , talk
This place has really gone down hill, half the games dont work, the games that do are lame phone game rip offs. The carnival style games are broken and don't play correctly, the guns for the shooting games are broken, and the gambling style games are the most obvious scams ever. The only fun game i played today was literally just throwing a ball at a screen, and only because the old style knock down clown game didn't work. Don't waste your money here, go try somewhere else and leave a review so
Food was decent, but I'd only give it three stars out of five. I was surprised when I asked for a non-alcoholic mocktail and the bartender asked me what that was. Lots of fairly young people working there who weren't super interested in being helpful. The young man who was doing the blow by blow announcements isn't very well suited for that job.
Best place in the area for family entertainment and excellent food and beverages. Family friendly. It's all around worth checking out.
Birthday party for my daughter. Super organized and great food. Joanna R. rocked it and made the evening fantastic.
Fun arcade and good bowling. The drink selection was good for a bowling alley. We showed up late for our reservation due to stopped traffic on the interstate, but they still gave us a full hour. We really appreciated that!
Great looking place, Awesome layout. Bowling lane?s themselves aren't what I expected. Pin setters were constantly dropping pins, Lane conditions were doable. Medium Oil through the mids, Heads were kinda snappy. Backends were scorching. I realized this ?House? is more for Open Bowling, League play isn't predominant. Overall, This is one fine entertainment facility for the entire family.
I went with my son on a Sunday morning. We have our own shoes and balls, but looking around they have plenty of house balls to choose from and and adequate shoe selection. We got breadsticks as we had already ate breakfast, the breadsticks we doughy and didn't justify the price. Drink selection is good for both beer, mixed drinks, and non alcoholic drinks. The lanes were in good shape, but our pinsetter failed to set the right amount of pins several times. The side games were fun; low score per frame, max
Our waiter Mac was a legend ?? great time/service/and trivia tonight
First time at Pinheads love it here staff if so nice and friendly always been here a few more times and finding myself here every other weekend with the family to eat and enjoy the game room with my kids I met Sandra alarcon she is a manager there and is the sweetest excellent hospitality customer service is a five star across the board customer satisfactory is first priority I will continue to bring friends and clients here as long as I'm living in Indy thank Goodness we live near by in Fishers most defini
Wonderful family game night at Pinheads! We went the extra step of reserving a four lane suite and had a blast! Super clean facilities and super friendly staff. Ian and Nick took great care of us with awesome food, while Seana behind the bar took extraordinary care of the adults! Thanks Pinheads for helping make our family night one to remember!
Very family friendly. But would be a perfect date night with fun and wonderful food! We will be back!
Had an amazing time with the crew we all went here to let lose and have a good time and that's what we did and I would recommend this place to anyone who loves to bowl.
Really good food and service. Sneaky good bourbon selection also. Ask for Chris and Phil at the bar. Great dudes.
My wife and I had a lovely dinner at Pinheads and enjoyed bowling. Our server made it so great! Khareen was kind, funny, and took care of us. Ask for her if you go!
Last night, 9/4 we had a birthday party in one of the private bowling suites. Amazing time, so much fun. But, the evening was only truly wonderful because of our server/suite host, Joanna. She was super attentive, fun, helpful and just an amazing person overall. She made the evening great! We will definitely be back and will always request to have her. 5 stars hands down. Thank you again Joanna.
I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was here, having my son's birthday party in the private room. We had over 20 people attend and everyone loved it and had a great time. I can't remember the young man's name, possibly Trey? Anyway, he was a huge help! We thought he was amazing. Thank you for everything. My family is thinking if renting the private room in the future for a family bowling night.
We went to there to play Music Bingo and had a great time. Staff was very nice and the bingo caller was a lot of fun. Reservations are recommended.
Took my Team for a company outing and had the best experience. Great service and food.
Kudos to this place. It is hard to find such an inclusive place for my autistic daughter. To say that Pinheads is inclusive is an understatement. After a couple of meltdowns, two amazing employees, Tomi (don't know if that's spelled right) and Doug, not only helped me find my daughter, but offered a card for the arcade! Amazing service all around and cannot recommend Pinheads enough!
Nice and spacious with plenty of TV SCREENS,and many beer choices.BUT The food and service were below average and then some.
first time here and we had the BEST experience! From customer service, to the amenities and even the food, all 5 stars! We will definitely be back!
It's a nice place to spend some hours playing bowling and other interactive games. There are also volleyball and different areas for pizza, coffee, or a beer.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
