Customer Reviews

I came to play pinball and plenty of machines. I played 4 different ones and they played great. Very good value for credits compared to the new places popping up.

FUN PLACE! Great service! Great customer service ???? My kids love it! Pinballz is their #1 Arcade go to! A place to be with family and friends enjoying a few cold ones, as much as kids can be kids us adults can be too! Can't wait to come again? HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I absolutely love going to karaoke here on Mondays! They are about to start doing karaoke Mondays and Thursdays here which I absolutely love because Bren is an awesome KJ!

So much fun !! Thank you Hunny for bringing us out here for a last minute Christmas day trip !! My Beautifuls and I had a blast . Great Service and a variety of arcade games for the kiddos amd adults to enjoy !

Had a great time here with the whole family!! The arcade was so fun for the kiddos and the adults were able to enjoy adult beverages while the kids played. Overall great experience!! Brian at the counter was so helpful when it came time to count our tickets and pick our prizes!

I absolutely adore pinballs so much because it's the happiest place on earth. I come here after my divorce every single time and it always brings me right back to the courage to date again. Zoe is the most adorable person ever. She is so sweet and has the best Customer Service. thanks!!!

I love PK! It's so fun and we had a really great time at the Easter event! Very fun and the staff was so helpful!

My first time here. I got all the wonkada cards 1000 tickets. Dev is amazing and so kind he help me out to recharge my card. Thank you so much Dev. Ill be back soon. I got JK of BTS .

They hosted A car show and A craft show on A Sunday morning. Great event Thank you.

I'm glad they have pinballs here in town but I do wish they're marketing department was better planning specials. It is very expensive. You can go through $20 in just a handful of games. If there where times where you could bring your little ones during off peak hours for a discount I think it would really help families and not only that push the business. $20 for less than 30 minutes worth of entertainment is really pricey these days. And this is one card for one kid. And less than 10 plays

Awesome place! I love all the different game and all the cool pinball machines. Really hard to find the lord of the rings one here in south Texas!

While driving through I35 from San Antonio to Waco Pinballz kingdom caught our attention right away as the building looks like a castle and it has a huge dragon at the entrance. We stopped to see more of it, and it didn't disappoint. This is a cool place for kids and adults. It has plenty of classic and new video games, pinball machines and fun games. They also have an area for birthdays and a bar and grill area with TVs for adults to wait for the kids if that is what they want. The staff is friendly, and t

Went to have lunch, a drink, n play some games. Ordered a regular cheeseburger w fries. The burger was juicy n delicious n the fries were crispy n salted well. Prices were fair n got a players card and enjoyed a lil gaming! Had a pleasant experience. ???? There was a carnival setup outside but I was there a bit early so most of the rides were stationary. Cool lil hangout for all ages. Staff was friendly. Thanks! ????

My boyfriend and I have been here 3 times now and we absolutely love it! We get the beyond burger and there is seriously nothing like it! Drinks are meh but the food and atmosphere are great! We always have a good time!!! Super nostalgic and very clean!!!

I've been coming here for almost 10 years now and every time it's amazing. They have so many good retro games that I love! I grew up here!

Pretty cool place. I was hoping for even more pinball machines, but it's still a decent selection with about 10 to 12 machines. All the machines that I tried worked well. Good selection of old and new arcade games too. Food was surprisingly good, and the lady working the bar was really on top of things.

This was the worst escape room ever! Booked it for 4:30 but it wasn't ready till 5pm because they said it was too hot... at 5 they took us outside to a small storage trailer (that was still hot), after a breifing video that you couldn't even hear over another annoying loud video playing on another screen they told us it would be done in the dark and we would have to use flashlights the unfriendly girl went into another room and we were knocking on door trying to tell her she didn't give us flashlights as we

We love coming here. The food is consistently fresh and tasty. The games are always in great condition and they offer a great variety of them as well. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pure fun for all ages. A must if you're in the area.

Absolutely adored this place they had the most gorgeous workers, especially Zoe she was an absolute doll. Would come back to this place!!! Such a great place to come with friends!!!

We had the most fun! Great selection of games, local beers on tap, fair with pricing and tickets. Fun for kids and adults.

Great place to spend a date, relive some nostalgia, burn 20$... Or 100$.... Axe throwing was hella fun. The drinks are decent. The pizza was mid. But it's a fun place to bring the kids and let them share the same experiences we did when we were kids.

This is my first time to the pinballz Kingdom! I brought my nephew in law with me. And from pulling into the parking lot seeing this awesome huge medieval castle, we were Not let down by the super cool selection of games and incredible staff - helping us load cards, fix our mistakes and reload the card when we swiped too many times, and beyond. Fit for a knight or king/queen if you ask me! Anything we reached out for, was met with pleasant kindness. And you Have to try virtual rabbits ride, WOW what an expe

Extremely fun as always! My favorite Pinball location TBH! Went for a friends birthday many times and the staff is always so friendly. The drinks taste amazing and the games are so much fun!

LaFuFu claw game is rigged. Claw machines have a tension setting, which is set very low (check YouTube). Which guarantees slippery bags will always drop. DO NOT PLAY!! Manager was rude when questioned. An otherwise solid establishment has lost our business, for their deceptive tactics.

Fun fulfilled, go-karts were fun. Foods good. Prices are reasonable for the kids.

Great time here... got 2 watch UT beat Iowa ... kooo band playing outdoors and to top it off made it 2 the Carnival...$30 wristbands, yikes..nxt time we'll make it 2 the arcade section..great food and Bucket specials on Saturday nights!!

Pretty much love this spot, come here pretty regularly. Awesome pizza, I'd say that was their staple and go to although they have a diverse menu. The burgers are great too. They've got a nice mix of beers also. The arcade is well stocked and, during the week, it's not too crowded although I hear the weekends are elbow-room only. Dunno, never been then. Check it out!

One of the funnest places to have fun solo or with the family!! Great staff and lots of FUN! It is my go to spot at least once a week. Build your membership points for rewards. I'm almost a platinum member with just a little shy of 2000 points. 1$ equals 1 loyalty point. That says it all right there. ?? well spent!! SUPER FUN EVERY TIME!.... So I added more photos of this past Friday 3/11/22. Another amazing time with my beautiful family. They were having so much fun. Like I said before if you haven't been

Always a great time. New games every time I go. Food is good too

I've only been here one time before, but it is a great place to have fun and play arcade games, pinball, video games, VR, etc. The bar serves a decent variety of adult beverages, and the food menu is okay for "bar food"

This place is always so much fun! They have all the classic arcade games and every time I go back I feel like they have some new games to play too. The downfall is that they keep increasing in price to play. It's become a little too much. Their prizes kinda suck lately?not gonna lie. We have so many tickets on our wristbands but never get to use them because the prizes aren't that great. Regardless, we like going here when there isn't anything going on and need entertainment. It's a good time.

Pinballz is a fun spot for kids and adults. They are packed full with classic and new video games along with a dozen pinball machines. They have a full bar for adult drinks and food grill for snacks or a full meal. Great place to escape the current triple digit heat, also they are open late. They use a card credit system so you don have to lug around a bucket of coins.

Everything was kept constantly clean. Food was plated very nice but the taste was mediocre. My nachos brisket was cold though. Game variety was good but game cost to ticket value was poor. The prize variety was good and all the machines worked. All the rhythm games were placed right next to the overhead speakers which were playing music louder than the game. It was impossible to hear DDR tracks.

Had an awesome time here!! The games were way fun, the bathrooms were impressively clean making it an even better experience. The technician there, Alejandro was so friendly and did a fantastic job.... highly recommend!!

I came with my dad and spent my birthday money, $50 trying to win Labubu. More than $4 per try! Didn't come close, rigged machine!!

Great food and lots of game options for all ages! Kids had a blast

The building was neat and had a castle feel to it. Would have liked to of seen more outdoor games and choice of drinks. Small location, but huge selection of games.

This is our second visit. First visit was great. Grandsons had a good time playing games. We were somewhat spoiled after playing at Cidercade in Austin- $12 pp play all day. Second visit we came just to play pickleball. Lesson learned, do not come here to play pickleball. There's 2 ?courts.? One was not available because there was a temporary stage set up on part of the court. The court we played on was so close to the fence (and items stacked by fence) that you couldn't serve without stepping into the cour

Brian was Great and helpful at the front and was very diligent and polite in explaining to me about the various prizes and options . Great experience overall

Such a great spot for family fun. They always have a nice selection of craft draft brews and we've been pleasantly surprised by how delicious their food has been each time we've visited! My husband and I feel like Mikki?s Tavern has some of the best chicken tenders around! Always friendly service from staff?? Edit: A year later and we've established that their ?bar food? aka chicken, burgers, fries, tots etc is so consistently satisfying! We think the fry cook has to be ex military/very disciplined bc the

Fun for literally everyone!!!! So far this is my favorite Pinballz location because of the lay out: 2 separate outdoor seating and game areas. There's also a stage for live music! The food is great too! Axe throwing, bumper cars, ski ball, pinball, and the VR games are amazing!!! The staff is super helpful, there's a full liquor bar, and PRIZES! Fantastic way to spend any day or night. Love the place.

We love Pinballz Buda! Great family hangout?especially Monday night karaoke! And the arcade has tons of variety. Great food too!

Excelente place to spend an afternoon with my kid . Food is plenty and taste great .

Great place to take your family and kids to have some fun, have some drinks and play some games. Highly recommend

Great games and great daily deals! Always a fun place to take the kids!

Truly enjoyed the environment playing games, participating in the escape room and the great food. Couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy my daughter's 15th birthday.

Great place. Kiddos love it!

Great place to keep cool in this summer heat. Nice game selection for grownup and kids. Didn't eat but the food smells amazing. Used the facilities while there and they were actually really clean and stocked only issue was the sinks where not draining.

I love coming to pinballz with my daughter she has such a wonderful time and the staff is always so helpful and nice to us. Unfortunately last night the ENTIRE staff was just ?BOTHERED? with me. The restroom door latch is on backwards and I mentioned to them they just laughed and said well no one?s here to fix it . I said well may you at least put a sign on it and they ignored me and continued talking. I then asked for points on my card and they seemed so bothered scanned it told me what points slammed the

We enjoyed ourselves! The games are reasonably priced and there are bumper cars that our kiddos enjoyed. There is also a restaurant with yummy pizza! Definitely recommend.

Nice staff. Good food. Wish the games were a little cheaper. But the kids like it and they have good food

Super Nice place. Came here for party. You seriously need to have a couple of healthy foods on the menu. Not everyone eats fried food!!

We had a blast here. I wish the games were a little cheaper, but still we had a lot of fun! Staff is amazing.

We were there on Saturday night and Brian was so helpful and patient with my little ones. We had the greatest time.

Took my little brother here and he had a great time. Definitely recommend!

Great place to hang out and play games. Has nice events to keep people coming back!

Fun place. Lots of games. Bumper cars are nice. Laser tag area is very small and not a recommended expense. Food is great. Lots of everyday folks having a good time. Great bar like I once worked in.

This place is Freaking Awesome felt like a kid again!!! Definitely recommend well worth the driver from La Vernia to here!! We will be coming here more often!!

We love coming here with our kids. They have a blast. Games are a bit expensive but they have a great variety!

Great place for family and fun :) had a great time w the fam for hours under a budget!

The pizza and wings together was at 10! Good customer service and quick problem solvers! The games are great and I had the opportunity to enjoy the carnival.

So fun , came here for Father?s Day . Pizza is 10/10 . They sure know how to keep this place clean

Very disappointed with our experience. The workers all seemed to be on drugs. The food was miserable and the drinks were extremely overpriced. The bathrooms reeked of cigarettes and the games don't work. They also close at 11 which is weird because they're marketed to young people not the elderly. Stay open later. Hire better staff. Be better.

Just got back from an evening out on a surprise Abduction from my girlfriend, we went here to have some fun and I must say I was very impressed. They had a lot of games from the 80s and 90s that I grew up on including Pacman, Galaga and Mortal Kombat. But one of the most fun games was the Star Wars simulator when we took down the Death Star. We stayed away from the ticket games as we came to have fun, but the prizes looked very cool, I also got a picture with the lifesize WonderWoman and Deadpool at the e

My daughter was here for a birthday and loved it. Perfect for kids and enough for adults to enjoy too. We'll be back!

It's awesome open experience in a long time great child hood memories. Had the book of free coupon and I'll be back definitely with more family . You can eat after the games it's great place ohh and don't forget the bar wow my husband was thrilled ??

Went for the first time last night with a group of family and friends ranging in age from 7 to 50. We all had a great time and I absolutely fell in love with this place. There's no doubt we will go back!! Update review: Went back again this evening and had a blast, as usual. Tried some different foods - mozzarella sticks, funnel fries, and OMG!!! FRIED CHEESECAKE!!!!

Great place for games, food, and drinks !!! We had a lot of fun

Fun with my husband ! We enjoyed the Simpsons pinball game. It was a blast :)

Rude cashiers in the restaurant/bar Poor seating to eat. Due to tables being hoarded with items. Staff not very pleasant to be around definitely will not be being my children back! Horrible horrible experience

The design of this game room is great as the building is an extravagent, large castle. The assortment of games puts Dave & Busters to shame as they also have ticket, shooting, and driving games yet they have way more classic games and pinball machines and bumber cars out front. They even have a crane game for tickets (and some great ticket prizes) which we found hilarious. If you're up for it, there's even a bar. Everything about this place made me want to give it 5 stars at first glance. But... the pricing

We went to attend carnival. Very good time if you're looking for a couple of hours of fun with little kids and tweens

On Dec 31st, my daughter lost her fave stuffy. Although they were super busy, the staff went out of their way to help us look and let her get a duck and offered another stuffy. I just wanted to commend this staff for their sweet gestures for my daughter. Sadly after posting on FB, someone admitted they took it and asked for compensation.

My kids always have a blast with the variety of games and crane machines! They have great weekly deals!

Always love coming here! Mondays are the best because of all day happy hour!

Love this place and always have, great games and food? bartenders have the shittiest attitudes though sadly.

Great place to have fun! From old school to new school, it's a blast! ??

Great place for every age. Good food and drinks, great games and prizes. Sometimes hard to get a drink at the bar. Sometimes you get ignored when trying to order at the bar. But overall staff is friendly and helpful.

Went for the spring break special and was scammed. Most of the games kids want to play are not included. Ended up spending way more than intended as the kids would have been disappointed to not be able to play. Of course that's the scam, but I felt dirty afterwards. No bueno Pinballz. That sucks.

Great place to go hang out and play some arcade games. Would say it's normally 3/4 adults. Definitely a good place to spend a night at. I would recommend registering your cards as there are benefits and they seem to be upping the pricing

A little small and they didn't have anyone available for the escape room due to people calling in sick but we had fun.

Lots of fun games to play whether with adults or with kids. Great date night place or just a place to unwind after a long day. It brings back old-school vibes with all the different pinball options and arcade options. Plus food and a bar? Even better.

Great place for fun! Definitely recommend for a good place to hang out and have fun

It was great time being here very fun games. First time being here

amazing indoor /outdoor arcade and minirides (bumper cars, axe throwing, escape room , paintball) w/ beer garden and outdoor stage for live music and events. Great prices on games and full bar and food options

Had the Thursday lunch special chicken fried steak with jalapeno cream gravy, garlic mashed potatoes and side salad. Great. The mushroom burger rocked. Great games for all ages. Nice staff. Children can win prices easily.

Thay do they're closing duties 2 hours before they're supposed to leave it's like they're already closed. I felt rushed to leave 12:39am open till 2am. Its a cool spot. If you get here early.

Love coming here on the weekend, tons of games, and they even have labubus ??????????

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
