Wow... what a GREAT place to visit! No messing around with coins! Pay one price and pay all day. There are games i haven't seen in years and ones that are 100 years old... video games, air hockey, skeet ball, shooting games, driving games, a place to chill...2 FLOORS, and HUNDREDS of games! Lol.. it should be called Pinball Paradise! ?????? We've been to several museums and this and Vegas are the 2 best we've been to! An absolute MUST if you're in the Pittsburgh area. ?????? We will definitely come b

I really enjoyed my visit! The owner is friendly and showed us around the collection of pinball and arcade machines. We were able to play most of the machines, and all worked well. Very reasonable pricing as well!

This place is awesome! 100?s of diff pinball machines and styles. 11 and 13 year daughters never been and loved it. Pool, football, ski ball bowling, video games?. Pay $20 for unlimited, beyond worth it. Was open New Years Day thankfully. Cool Pgh owners/workers too.

Great place to visit if pinball enthusiast. Hours may vary. ---If kids are tall enough to play pinball, worth going to for a couple of hours. --- place essentially operates as a hands on retro-arcade museum. Everything is set on "free" play ---- ----[ $ Admission is hourly $ or day rate $.]---- Mostly pinball. Some retro arcade games. One ski-ball & other electro-mechanical wonders , however no tickets nor prizes, just fun!

A great selection of classic pinball with some modern machines on the floor too. I enjoyed that each game had a card with notes on the condition of the game that marked any issues with the game; lights out, ramps broken, or A-OK! They don't leave the power on for the whole place. Understandable if you consider the power cost. Just tell them what game you want to play and they will gladly turn it on. It costs $12/hour to play during the week when we visited. An extra fee if you pay with credit card. Bring

Such a fun place! I thought my sons might be bored but the whole family enjoyed our first visit here. They have so many pinball machines from so many eras. The Star Wars collection was impressive. I loved the action figures and collectibles that were around the games too. It is worth any pinball lovers time to plan a trip.

This is a must visit in the Pittsburgh area. My wife, 8 year old son and I spent 2+ hours here playing every machine possible. I would have stayed all night but had to stick to an 8 year old's schedule. When we woke up the next morning, the first thing my son asked for was to go back. There is plenty of fun to be had and plenty of nostalgia for anyone with fond childhood memories of pinball machines. The building itself is unassuming with no-frills but the size and quality of the machine collection make

Lots of fun, but do be aware their air conditioning struggles in the heat, and it gets crowded the later you go. Would recommend the Friday night or Saturday deals. A bit musty, but we wear N95s anyway because of an immune condition.

In the past few years or so I've visited here and I've enjoyed the variety of pinball machines it even has my favorite fun house

Fun place, though many machines were inoperable & some that were on had issues with play: tales of the Arabian nights would shut off in the middle of your game and restart. This also happened while playing Scared Stiff. The Cirquis Voltaire machine would cycle its audio on and off while you played, plus ?The Ringmaster? wouldn't even pop his head up, which is a big part of that game. Aside from small issues like that, cool place with a lot of rare tables like Banzai Run. The majority of the machines that we

It was very fun and had a huge variety of games such as air hockey slot of pinball machines and all sorts

Great place. I enjoyed getting to play an original Attack from Mars. The staff are super friendly.

For anyone who loves pinball and arcade games, particularly vintage machines, I definitely recommend visiting this place. I got to play games I've only heard of or read about as well as some I've played in my childhood. The owner asks caution on the flippers which I found reasonable given what it takes to maintain these machines, some of which are irreplaceable.

Pinball Perfection is an awesome place. I was there for three hours and had a blast. There are so many excellent games from the history of pinball, I hardly played a game twice. New games and old games that play well from being maintained and players being respectful, hopefully. Everyone should check it out. You can just go for yourself! (~);}

Total hidden gem in Pittsburgh's North Hills area. Great for date night or pinball enthusiasts... or both! It's basically just a giant warehouse full of pinball machines and in some spots it's pretty dimly lit, which gives it this deliciously creepy kind of feeling. The basement is like a pinball graveyard; I think the oldest machine I found down there was from 1939. They have some other games, too, including skee-ball! Definitely check them out.

My fingers ache from playing so many games in such a short period of time. It's the kind of feel good pain that most serious gamers can relate to. Thank you!

Really a great place for pinball machines. Some other classic games but mostly pinball focused. Prices are extremely reasonable, they were working on the machines as much as they could while we were there, different rows are on at different times, can certainly find a machine at any given time. Was not as crowded as I expected, will definitely go back. Its one of those things where you can't expect every machine to be working, but you can certainly hope the one that you really wanted to play will be working

$12-15 for unlimited free play of historic pinball machines/arcade games that you can't find anywhere else.

This place is super cool! We went mid day Tuesday and were the only ones in there for awhile. It was odd at first honestly as we were led up stairs in a corner of the dark building and when we got upstairs to the machines none were on. BUT makes sense not to waste energy all day if no one is there playing! The woman working turned on sections of the games as we requested to play particular ones and checked on us to see if we needed any more turned on. On the weekday it was $10/hr per person then you can pla

Went there for the first time with some friends and our two 7 year olds. The owners, Dan & Dan were great. Explained the rules, as they should with such valuable pieces, and were very helpful. Helped us find some games we were excited to locate. Incredible amount of games, from old to new. Excellent. We will be going back often.

Super fun afternoon playing arcade games. Heaps to choose from and not just pinball machines! Slightly expensive but could spend a whole day there. Some of the pinball machines didn't work but there were still so many options. Absolutely freezing in there though, set up in like a warehouse style venue. Got too cold so had to leave. Has huge potential if we were more prepared for the cold of the room.

Surprising. Nostalgic. Intriguing? A great idea for a date night.

Pinball Perfection is "A-OK"!!!! We had so much fun. The Friday night deal is awesome. Great games, unlimited play, amazing memories. Can't wait to come back! Thank you for your hard work to keep these games available.

This is a hidden gem. Very fun if you enjoy classic media and pinball. The bride of pinbot is the best cabinet in my opinion, but come see for yourself!

We went here to celebrate a few birthdays and it was the perfect place. We had adults and children with us. My teenager had a blast as did my two year old. The games was vintage. They had all kinds of games not just pinball. Although they have over 300 pinball machines they have lots of other lil games. Our family had fun. Prices are good!!

It is a unique place, be ready to go back to the 80's and 90's. Many pinballs to play. It costs $12 on Saturdays and you can spend there the whole day if you want to. Also you can play to different classic arcade games! This place really worths it!

Love going on Friday evenings, great value. Wish it were open on more evenings!

As long as you understand what to expect, you're going to have a lot of fun here. It's a working museum and is maintained mainly by volunteers, so not everything is going to be working on a given day. However, there's an unbelievable amount of things to do here -- not only do they have a ton of pinball machines (mostly retro but a few newer ones), but there are lots of other arcade games too -- vintage bowling, air hockey, skeeball, and bar games to name a few. Every time I go for a three hour open play ses

If you like vintage games (especially pinball), and don't care about creature comforts, you should really enjoy this place. It's not fancy. It's a warehouse packed to the gills with games and other vintage items. It's friggin awesome. They don't keep everything on for obvious reasons, but they're happy to fire up any games that you want to play. It's chilly in the winter, so dress appropriately. 12 bucks an hour, which is a bargain considering what it costs to acquire and maintain those machines.

Fantastic spot! Only draw back is some of the games are not fully functional but They are labeled and let you know that up front

Awesome place with tons of pinball machines and a few arcade games. Great vintage atmosphere and reasonable pricing make this a great place to take the kids

Had a great time trying out all of the machines! We got a tour of the space before playing and learned a bit about the history of Pinball. Staff was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable, friendly and informative. Can't wait to come back!!

Visited first time yesterday from Michigan. Spent an hour with a constant smile. This place is just great. Many pins to play including the classics. Addams Family, Circus Voltaire, Funhouse, Creature from Black Lagoon, etc., etc. they even have a Wizard of Oz, but that was being repaired. I paid $12/hr and was worth every penny. When I'm in Pittsburgh again, I'll always visit. Great place. Thank you for a fun time!!!!

This place was a fantastic stop for a break during a road trip! It was $12 for an hour and though most of the games are older, they are in such great condition! There are a few newer games, but honestly I had a blast playing the older ones. Not all the games were turned on, but the guy was willing to turn on anything I wanted to play. Treat these beautiful games with kindness and respect them for what they are. 10/10 highly recommend! I hope to make it back some day! I would recommend trying to have exact c

Lots and lots and lots of games. Most in perfect condition it seems. But those that aren't have tags saying what's wrong (lights or sounds don't work, small things like that). Really enjoyed our time there. On top of that, very reasonably priced and seems to be run by a great group of people. Really really happy we stopped by!

Such a great hidden jewel. Over 200 pinball and arcade games. It is a working museum. Play by the hour for a fee. At the time of this post it was 12.00 per hour per person and our party of 3 played for an hour. Fair price for a fun time. Note that there was a small fee to use a credit card vs.cash.

Not much to look at from the outside but if you enjoy old pinball and some arcade games, this place is a blast. $15 admission on Sat but you can play all day. Jeff was a great host. Showed us every aisle and explained the rules (just finish your game).

This is a very original place. They have a lot of old time pinball machines and arcade games. The best I can tell none of The arcade games are operational. That said, a large percentage of the pinball machines are also broken. They do have technicians walking around that will do squat maintenance if you can grab one. Apparently you can bring a 12 oz can of beer in with a koozie, no bottles and no blatantly obvious alcohol. I think it is worth checking out if you haven't already.

This place is great! Paid a flat rate of $15 per person on a Saturday for the whole day which was from 12-5. You can spend the whole day here and not play the same game twice. I would recommend this place to everyone. Wish they had more beverage and snack options but time goes by so fast here you probably won't need them

If you like pinball then this place should absolutely be on your list of places to visit. I would call it the "Jerry's Records" of pinball for Pittsburgh. There are hundreds of machines here set up for you to play. There are also a smaller number of arcade machines and other amusement type machines. They're fun but pinball is the main attraction. They have a handful of new machines and many machines that you'll see on best of lists. It is an old dingy building with tools and open pinball machines everywhe

Would give -5 if that were possible. Should?ve read reviews before going. The multiple unrelated negative scathing bad reviews speak volumes. Possibly worst pinball experience ever. Stopped by, and was immediately given attitude that I didn't bring a group ?where's your people? He asked if I was interested in anything in particular, and since he asked me I inquired if he had a Marble Madness? ?I do, but I won't let you see it or play it?. Ok?You asked me. Weird. Also rude. I would?ve considered bu

Lots of great pinball machines! Classic, new, and even a few other games like skeet ball, air hockey, Ms. Pac-man and a few others. A number of the machines needed to be repaired, but they were actively repairing some while we were there, so I know they do work on them frequently. It is a bit of a maze to get around. Owner was very friendly even when I brought 5 elementary aged kids with me.

An absolutely priceless experience! The tour is both genuine and entertaining. Friendly place too, the machines are diverse and well cared for. The atmosphere is unique. The cost is fair.

I enjoyed the place. Lots of old school machines. No shortage of games to play. Admittedly it was a little chilly and not every machine worked perfectly but considering the age of many of the machines I think it's a tremendous feat to have that wide a selection and have that many up and running (and they were working on others as well). Could have handled a far bigger crowd than was there when I went and the pricing to me was very reasonable. I would certainly go back again. Think they have done a very nice

We had a good time tonight. Many pinball machines and classic arcade games to play. I have seen many people bash the owner about how mean he is. He wasn't overly friendly but not the monster many have made him out to be. He even thanked us for coming out and invited us back. I would go back again sometime. Thanks for Taking me along Tony!

This place is great! I always go Friday for 3 hour free play @$12, you cannot beat the value. The games are in very good shape and mostly always playable, with as many as they have...yes sometimes you'll have an issue but that is par for the course! It's BYOB cans which is great, and we love the relaxed atmosphere. Go support a long time cornerstone of PGH punball!

If the doors are locked call the museum. If they are working on another floor they will come and open up for you! Owner was very friendly. We had fun. Very impressive collection, 301 total machines.

I love pinball and with arcades being mostly extinct, it's a rare treat to find an establishment dedicated to restoring and displaying old pinball machines for you to play. That's why it pains me to tell you that you should avoid Pinball Perfection if you want a positive experience. I cannot stress enough how rude the owner was to my wife and me. When we first arrived, we found the door locked and the "open" sign off. The hours indicated they were open and a sign said to call. The sign should have indicate

Tons of old and new machines to play at a great entrance fee. Pinball, video and more. Have to amend my original rating though. Over the holidays I had 14 guests visiting. We planned a day activity to visit PP. I even called ahead a couple of hours to make certain they were open. Got there and all machines were off. Found the owner in basement shop and said we were there to play. Told me it was too cold and he would only turn on a few machines. I explained my confusion since I had called ahead. He said his

an unbelievable collection of pinball and other arcade and coin-operated mechanical games. number of pinball hovers close to 300. heavy emphasis on pre-1980's machines with a lot of 1950's era rarities. on weekdays the owner will only turn on banks of the games actually being played. this would be such a problem but because of the lighting and crowding in there it can give the feel of a dungeon. fresh coat of white paint on every wall and some better lighting would go a long way. weekends are the big megill

Most of the machines don't work. Alot are lit up but don't work. It's $10 for an hour to play. If your not playing you still must pay $10 because it's a museum. Attendant was rude. Time was almost up, in the middle of a game. Instead of saying after that game your time is up. Would you like to buy another hour? No she pulled the plug in the middle of the game. Really that makes someone want to come back. Don't recommend!!

This place is neat. Old wooden pinball machines on second floor and new ones on third floor. We never went down to first floor. We were the only customers in there when we visited so we had pick of the machines. $10 an hour to play, just push button and go.

Amazing place. So many cool games and folks who volunteer or work have a ton of passion and knowledge. It is important to note, this isn't a barcade. It appears to be an extremely large private collection that lets in visitors to help defray costs. That said, you wont find a better place to kill a few hours.

Hundreds of awesome pinball machines from 40's - 70s downstairs and 80's - current upstairs (and several arcade games too). All on free play. Friday $15 7PM till 10PM and M-S 12-5.

My friend who lives here wanted to check it out. It opens at 7 and closes at 10 pm according to what he said. It's 12 dollars a person to play as many games as you want. The only thing to keep in mind is that it's cash only. We were there for 2.5 hours and only played Half of the games only once. Too many games to try anything twice. Good place for pinball games and a road down memory lane for lots of the some of the arcade games.

Huge collection of pinball machines from the 1920s through current day. Also arcade games from all eras. A great place to spend a Friday evening. All the machines are on free play. Hard to decide what to play first!

I always get yelled at there. The person working there tells you not to go flipper happy. There are some games there that you 100% need to go flipper happy like this machine Banjory Run and all of the machine that have multi ball. I really don't recommend you going there.

Great selection of machines. Owner pretty cool and very accommodating. Play anything you like for an hour for 10 bucks. Both Ancient and newer machines. Biggest selection I have ever seen in one place.

A great place to visit, tons of new and very old arcade games to play. Pinball is my favorite.

Pinball Perfection was a lot of fun, and was a good way to spend an evening or day indoors. Be prepared it's located in an old warehouse, and some of the machines are non functional but still very interesting. Also, be sure to bring cash or buy tickets on Pay Pal.

Dan is one cool guy and has a lot of knowledge about pinball! If you're looking for something different to do with your significant other or kids, then come spend your Friday night or Saturday afternoon here. Cheaper than the movies and a whole lot more fun!

I love this place so much! The "feel" of it is just so right, no pretension or foolishness, no corporatism, just straightforward and so mighty awesome. There is an open feeling to it, like visitors just get to see everything and have a good time. Almost like a visit to someone's pad. I can't wait to get to Pittsburgh again so I can go back!

This place was a blast. Plenty of machines to play so there's no waiting. It's $12.00 to enter and all the machines are free to play. The building is in need of some attention and the heat wasn't the best. All in all this is worth a visit.

Fantastic place if you love pinball, including the history.. definitely a place to come back too!

Very interesting place! Lots of vintage pinball games and so much more. Owner is very knowledgeable about his craft. Call for hours before heading there.

A cool experience. Pay one fee and play all the games you want. Primarily pinball games but there are video games, air hockey, mini bowling, etc.

You wouldn't believe how cool it is in here... I've lived right in the neighborhood for years and years and never went in...mind was blown when I did... They have bands come in and play, you can play the machines and there's thousands, they open up the garage doors in the summer, they have food etc ... It's incredible.... Would recommend stopping in.

Really neat place. BYOB but must be kept in can caddy as to make it kid friendly as well. 5$ to play for an hour or so n 10$ for all nite! Really cool.place if u like nostalgia.

It is a Wonderful place to play pinball. They have more pinball machines then anywhere else and the machines are all set to free play. The admission to play all the games is incredible compared to just the cost of even a few of the machines. The owner is easy to talk to as well.Support local business and keep this place around for years to come.

I enjoyed every moment I spent there. So many old games I played as a child.....

Great selection of pinball, from today back into the 60's. Pay once at the door then everything is on free play. For $15, this is a really great deal!

Awesome place to go to play pins, old bowling, air hockey, pool or video games. Have to come multiple times just to play everything. Even then there is more you didnt experience. Great for family or date night.

I'm a huge fan of pinball so seeing alot of these machines in working condition and being able to enjoy all of them for $12 was worth my time and money! I will be moving near the area in a few months and will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I's personal heaven?? Literally AMAZING collection of vintage machines even dating back to 1939! The owner is very nice as well! FYI, only cash or PayPal!

Dan opened up on a Sunday for a birthday party for my daughter- he was great to work with and there were plenty of machines to play and things for the kids to do!

Within moments of speaking to Dan, you feel his passion for his craft. It is not just pinball, he has so many items there.... Slot machines, arcade, mopeds, art, even his lighting, it all has a story, it is fascinating.

Awesome place for pinball. Have gone back multiple times and will continue to go! Always a great place to go on a weekend night for some gaming!

Pinball Perfection is about as close to a perfect experiance as one could ask for. A huge selection of great games, both new and classic, nice employees, and great prices. I cant reccomend this place enough.

Has an impressive collection of pinball machines. It's a good place to go if you have a lot of free time on your hands. The owners also repair pinball machines, a plus for anyone who collects them.

This is a great place to spend a Friday night. Tons of games to choose from, they even have ski ball. If you're looking for a unique date night this is it!

Awesome collection of new and vintage pinball machines, better than any other collection I have ever seen! Owner is passionate and knowledgable about machines and is a great guy to talk to if you want to know about the machines.

Great place. Pay an entrance fee and play classics all day. Great for introducing your kiddos to some of the video and pinball games you loved as a kid.

Love all the pinball and the gentleman at the counter was super knowledgeable about the machines. He would even show some insider secrets about the machines. Totally go if you are thinking about it.

Huge selection of vintage pinball machines

Friendly owner & Good selection of games but dress warmly if you are going to be there a while. $10 for 1-hr of unlimited play is well worth it.

This is an amazing place with at least 100 pinball machines. The price is great. 10 dollars per person per hour, and you get unlimited playing for that hour.

Fantastic place to play some great pinball. Oh and ski ball bowling.

Lots of fun. Nostalgic. Definitely worth checking out!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
