Reviews Summary

Pin Chasers generally receives positive feedback for its friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and good customer service, with many praising the bowling experience and food. However, some reviews highlight issues like booking errors, rude staff, or maintenance concerns (frayed seats, stuck balls). Pricing is seen as fair, though reservations are recommended due to busy periods. While most rate it highly (4-5 stars), a few negative experiences (1-3 stars) mention poor service or facility shortcomings. Overall, it’s a popular spot for parties and casual bowling, but consistency in service and upkeep could improve.

Customer Reviews

Great experience. My son has joined the Special Olympics bowling team recently, and we have been going there every Saturday morning. We also shopped at the store for the first bowling ball. It was a great experience, too. Highly recommend it??????????

Haven't bowled in over 20 years. While my partner pictured here totally dominated, I did manage to impress them with my knowledge skills and ability (for a girl) Had a great time clowning each other while being entertained by other bowlers, staff and LEO.

Nice place. The devil is in the details because of course a bowling alley is a bowling alley. But they were fast at the counter, they provided socks for me because I didn't have any, they had a good selection of bowling balls in a centralized area which made it easy, and everything worked great. Had a really fun time with my son.

Celebrated my birthday with my classmates, and we had so much fun. We completely forgot to take pics, so quick video of me not getting a spare and our scorecards. There were a bunch of confused orders coming out of the kitchen as far as 1 pizza instead of a whole pizza or vice a versa but it wasn't mistakes made on our part, or pertaining to us more than once so we didn't complain and still had so much fun the issue didn't bother us. We eventually got the cheese pizza we ordered by going up to get it inste

Very clean, great staff, and a very nice atmosphere. We were there just after noon, trying to burn some time before a flight out of TMP. Very convenient.

Terrible experience dirty attitudes, there were no light bowling balls for my kids to use, and my wife had ordered food and as soon as the game was over they told my wife to grab her food and go to another table. Besides the fact there are 20 other open lanes they see her eating and decide to kick us out of the lane. Anyone wants to go to a nice and respectful place go to semine lanes in Pinellas Park trust me it's way better than this dump.

Pin Chasers offers a fantastic bowling experience, perfect for a fun outing. The lanes are in top-notch condition, ensuring a great game every time. The vibrant and welcoming atmosphere makes it ideal for both friends and family. A great choice for an enjoyable and entertaining night out. Definitely a top recommendation for anyone looking for quality bowling and a good time

really fun place for friends/families or couples - we paid a small fee of 10 dollars to reserve a lane as it was the weekend and we did not want to arrive and not have a spot - then paid another small fee each of around 10 dollars to rent shoes socks and balls (the socks are comfy and you get to keep) - we had a time slot of an hour and a half which was the perfect amount of time, meant we did not get bored of it but also did not feel we were rushing against the clock - each lane contains a tablet which you

We went here for cyberbowling today. We had a great time. Lamont was beyond helpful as this was our first time bowling since moving here. We ordered the pizza & wings which were decent given where we were. We plan to visit again.

This is the first time I've been here in several years. I came on a school field trip for 2nd graders. There was a very limited staff (literally 3 people) 1 gentleman at the food & beverage counter which are awfully expensive, 1 (wish I could remember her name) that attended to our group of approximately 100 individuals (students, teachers, & chaperones). She was amazing doing everything. By everything, I don't mean just tending to our large group (without any help) she was resetting lanes and retrieving bo

This place has been awesome. Been coming here for about 6 months. Sometimes twice a month with the team. Great time staff is very attentive and always good vibes and fun time!!

Best fun ever!! Service is so great, too! Thank you for the fun! See you all again soon!! ????

Prices were fair, military discount was a plus! We paid $30 for 2 hours (2 people), including the pair of shoes and socks, on a Saturday evening. Place was pretty empty and had a very good atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the food, but no outside food or drinks are allowed.

Great atmosphere! Good food. Very attentive staff. Had a great time Saturday night!

this was the other bowling alley one was in Tampa on Armenia Avenue and the other one was up in Zephyrhills.Zephyrhillsvery small but quaint.people are really nice and it was just big enough for the people we had there..food was a little expensive but it was good it wasn't junk.

Had a great time here with our boys. Service was great as well as the food. I really wish their specials started at like maybe 7 and it'd be easier for us as a family to come more. Bedtime is 9:30 so unfortunately we only get to come every now and then, but whenever we do we have a wonderful time!

Friendly and helpful staff greeted us and helped us decide the best way to introduce our granddaughter to her first bowling experience. She had a great time. Arcade games, an alchohol bar, a snack bar, pool tables and 50 lanes complete the attractions at this location. The only detraction being the greatly uneven surface of the kids lane, the ball drifting almost every time to the far left. This is extremely frustrating for kids trying their best to knock down the pins. In the end, with our encouragement an

We always have a nice time bowling here. They food is pretty decent and the pricing is always fair. They typically have the size shoes we need and a ball that fits everyone in the family. We love coming here for glow bowling. Also it's non smoking so it's great for families!

Love the place I always go there with my friends and have lots of fun and I love the crew that works there

PinChasers in Armenia is seriously a top-notch spot for a fun day or night out. The place is clean, doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and even when it's busy, it doesn't feel jam-packed. And it's not just about bowling - they've got some really tasty food too! Whether you're into pizza, nachos, or pork, they've got you covered. The staff are super friendly, always ready to help, and the beer? So good. Plus, you can mix and match your sides, which I think is pretty cool. But what makes PinChasers really speci

The family had a good time here. There were plenty of lanes available on a Monday morning during the summer. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and helpful. The lanes have bumpers that are configurable per player. There is a kiosk to reset the lane, edit scores, choose games, etc. There is a mobile app, but it is very limited in functionality as a guest. The system didn't email us our game scores even though email addresses were entered for the players.

First time at Pin Chasers for a group family affair event and it was good times. Next time it will be adulting night. Bye bye kiddos! Hello cyber night and lots of drinks ????

We always have a good time here and my kids took me for Mother's Day.. We like the offer of 2 hrs bowling for a special price and today 7 of us bowled. My oldest son had a 3rd 200 game going with no open frames but we only had 4 mins left with less than half the game to go. The lady at the counter was very nice and added.an additional 20 mins because it being a special day. My son ended up with a 240. Thank you Pin Chasers for your great customer service.

The staff was friendly, the birthday party was much more affordable compared to other places, the food was really good for a bowling alley. My kids absolutely loved it. My only complaint is how frequently the balls kept getting stuck on this lane.

This bowling ?? very neat and clean. Great for birthday parties and group meetings. They even serve food and drinks at a little bar, and have gaming section. I went to meet up with the mother group with their kids family event and My son loves it and had a great time.

Pin Chasers offers a breakfast and bowling deal for only $8. You receive a full breakfast, shoe rental, plus 2 full hours of bowling. Every Saturday before 11:00am. Best deal in town!

Always a great time here! Staff is very helpful with large groups of kids and the rates are very reasonable!

Pin Chasers was a blast! Took the kiddos and played for 2 hours. I was impressed with the newer technology that our lane offered by allowing the bumpers to automatically appear when our younger bowler was up to play. We just selected the "bumpers" box after entering his name. That saved so much hassle! Also, my 10 year old nephew bowled a turkey and kicked our butts. The staff is very helpful and friendly and it made for a great afternoon!

We had to wait a while to get our shoes. 20 or so minutes after we paid for the lanes. Friendly service after we finally got to our lanes.

We attended an event and it was a great time. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Had a great time bowling with the family. The only thing is the baby changing station is not sturdy at all.

The kids always have a great time here. Bowling, drinking pitchers of their favorite soda, playing from the wide variety of arcade games, and getting candy from the vending machines. We always stay here for a couple of hours on a day off from school. It's a great place to have a good time??

It was lots of fun! Great service for both food and bowling.

Last night I finally got the pleasure to visit this establishment after I attempted to about two years ago, calling beforehand to inquire about pricing, only to drive half an hour away to be told we needed a reservation. Which we could have easily been informed about when we called asking about pricing. This time, I made sure in advance to book a reservation online, which still had quite a few lanes open hours ahead. They charge you a $10 fee to reserve which they just keep. And every lane not in use has a

Food is good, staff is friendly, and I enjoy the atmosphere.

All you can play until close for under $12. Pitcher of Miller Lite $6. Life is Good

Great family entertainment. We had a blast and thanks you to the new girl at the front counter for your patience and keeping your kool under pressure lol... keep that smile on. Mr Larry was so helpful and awesome . I appreciate yall?? sweets and Naughty Promotions

The people working here and the manager are all absolutely rude and offer the worst customer service. This place will not offer you a lane unless you've reserved, but when you reserve keep in mind you have to pay a $10 reservation fee that does not get applied to your total, they simply take your money. Let's not even start on the food?

The best entertainment. We did the Sunday morning BREAKFAST BOWL. Our favorite ??

Really bad attention at the time we arrived. Not even a line or order to get a line to play. A lot of lines damage and we spent 30 minutes waiting to get a line a they didn't even call to get in line ?? and we wait and wait and finally they told us to wait until 8pm and it was 5:30pm already... really disappointed. I took a picture so you guys make sure with one is so you don't spend you time waiting for nothing

What a fun place! Food, drinks, and bowling ?? They even had a server bringing drinks to you while you bowl! Loved it here

Nice alley! Did not eat anything, but family member said the pizza was " no bueno". Server was very friendly.

My job had a business outing here and we had a blast! It was supposed to be from 4p-6pm but we extended it until 10pm! The drinks were good, cheese fries were great, and the environment was good. The music wasn't the best but we had our own. I bowled my first TURKEY! I'm so proud of myself! I am hoping we do it again!

Overall very good bowling experience. Best feature is Dr. Boz support group meetings there!

Clean friendly staff and all around fun I love this place

Would not allow us to use lanes despite lanes being available. Said reservation must be made online, which costs $10. For what good reason?!?! Do not recommend.

I purchased a bulk game package that they claimed would never expire. The games were put on cards. When I went in to play and they said they had changed their system and the cards with the games on them were no longer usable. An absolute scam. They basically sold me $80 worth of useless plastic.

Fantastic family environment! Make reservations, they're busy. Very friendly staff! Great pizza!

I purchased a large drink and it was almost $3.50. No! It's uncalled for and they don't allow outside food or beverages. The front countertop Formica has been there for ages. The place can use some renovations and new tables and chairs that put some style into the place.

Great atmosphere and decently priced. Perfect for parties, gatherings and family fun. It would've been nice to have tables a bit cleaner (plates, glasses on table) but it's a bowling alley.. you can't go wrong!!

Veey friendly staff and a fun place that was welcoming to all kinds of bowlers, including ones that havnt bowled in 20 years, like me.

This was so much fun. We were on a family and friends vacation. We really enjoyed this place.

My favorite place to go bowling, they include shoes at no extra cost and have great deals on bowling, and the lanes are always well taken care of. They offer leagues for kids and adults if looking for a little fun or just want a little competition.

??Big Brothers Big Sisters Fundraiser today at Pinchasers was AWESOME ???? THANK YOU for hosting us Pinchasers ?? so much fun for a great cause. Thank you Marketing Posse for the corporate day of giving ????????????

Larry at the desk was very rude. Customer service was horrible.

The check in process was smooth, and we were seated at our table quickly. The bowling was fun with no issues, and our waitress was attentive and pleasant. We ordered their BBQ pizza, and the changes we asked for were done without a problem. The pizza came extremely fresh, and it tasted great. 10/10 we would absolutely come back here to bowl.

Really like the place, it's stunning and the ambience was nice. Went after 10.30 and got unlimited bowling rounds.

This was a great place to go bowling with our family. Everyone was helped very quickly. The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 was because we paid for 2 hours but when we got to our lane (we did not take long to walk to it) it said we has 1 hr 45 minutes to play. Kind of a rip off. But we still had so much fun.

Good place to hangout with friends and you always get good deals on beers

Brought back some good memories, it had been a long time since I had last visited.

Staff was more than kind and helpful for my group of 20+ Server Dylan was patient and prompt. Bartender Jen made group feel comfortable. Good time had by all. We want to come back.

Good place to play & chill. Would recommend getting an advance reservation

The alley itself is fine. The older Blonde woman at the desk was extremely rude and probably couldn't even spell customer service let alone define it, so I've copied the definition below for reference for management that will respond to this review. ?Customer service is both a type of job and a set of job skills . As a job, customer service professionals are responsible for addressing customer needs and ensuring they have a good experience. As a skill set, customer service entails several qualities like a

That is a very nice relaxing place to go and have fun and enjoy yourself I haven't been bowling in a long time I enjoyed

Staff was great. Kids and adults had a great time.

excellent to share with the family, many game tracks ?? and have a pleasant time

#Pinchasers Hillsborough & Armenia Thank you Ms. Iliana and Mr. Larry, & Ms. Shelly , and Mr Aiden for all your patience and hard work tonight. I lack the ability to express how grateful I am for y'all and your team on a Sunday night. Service and Experience Five ? s across the board. I can't wait for #Tampa to get back to "normal" But in the meantime, thank YOU for being here for us. We needed this. We needed you.

Big center, nice lanes. Kiosk for foods are a nightmare. Was there for a tournament. Placed 2 orders PUT our lane number and it sent the food to lane 1. Took over 45 min for this to get corrected. Almost didn't. Staff friendly for the most part

My son wanted to go bowling, he had a great time. the food was good but there was a older guy who worked there I think his name was Larry he kinda made us feel unwelcome. He was very rude and seemed like he was disgusted at the site of us. I do understand that he's older and some people are set in their ways but maybe he should work in the back away from customers we spent $400 but the smile on the kids face was worth it.

Lanes were well kept, bar was nice had rum not just beer. Had a good time $33 for 2 hours plus shoes. Not a bad price.

I really haven't go bowling in a while but this place was not packed like some other ones I gone to. I kinda like that plus the computerized board was easy to follow and prices where decent. Didn't get to taste the food but looks good from the family that was seating next to us . My kids and I really enjoyed it, very fun and will definitely do it again. Plenty of parking too .

it was a little bit confusing when we got in there we weren't told where the balls were, second of all we ordered drinks, and they didn't come for almost 20 minutes. We ended up having to go get them ourselves. They need to be a little bit more organized when you come in they need to tell you where to get the balls and be just a little bit more informative. Other than that the place was very clean the bathrooms were clean. I'll give it a three star but as far as customer service wasn't very good

They are always so quick and courteous.

Good service. Go during one of their promotions. Prices are great if you go at the right times. Fun time at the alley.

Pin Chasers Bowling Alley in Brandon, Florida, offers a standard bowling experience that caters to both casual bowlers and those looking to enjoy a few games with friends or family. The facility is adequately maintained, with lanes that meet the expectations for a typical night out bowling. While the equipment and amenities might not be the latest or most high-tech, they serve their purpose well enough for an enjoyable game. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a traditional bowling alley, with a mi

It's my birthday we had a family night of unlimited bowling ot was awesome and food was good

Went to watch some friends play. Plenty of parking. Very comfortable atmosphere and comfortable seating. The food was very good. Had pizza and nachos. Generous drinks at a great price. Clean restroom and very friendly and attentive staff! Lots of fun!

This has always been my go to bowling alley since the 90s but things have surely changed. First off, we celebrated my mom and husbands birthday party here Saturday night for a party of 36 but 27 of us bowled. I reserved 4 lanes which I had to pay $10 a lane. So that was $40 that didn't even go toward our bowling session. I'm not sure when they started this but I don't think it's fair when we all showed up and ordered drinks galore at the bar and plenty of food. Secondly the time alloted to bowl. I feel some

We reserved before going. Ordered some fries and mozzarella sticks. Each come with two sauces of your preference and it was good. Servers are always in the lookout to help you and the place was clean. Really enjoyed playing, eating and hanging out there.

We love going to Pin Chasers every year to help our friends foundation called ?Golden Ears Sanctuary? A rescue place for elderly and sick dogs! The most kind loving dog lover gives these elderly pups so much love and a great life up until their last breath!

Lane 41 and 42 were horrible. They would not return our balls. Had to push the help button and still did do much good. I personally went to the mgr three times. We were doing a charity event. Staff was great.

I had a great time with family and co-workers

It was pretty fun for our group outing. The only problems I had was the bartender was slow and the drinks were a little weak. But everything else was good.

This was an awesome place. I really enjoyed the customer service, the bartender was a sweetheart and southern Belle Important to know: if you're gonna bowl on the weekend, be there by 10am so.you can enjoy breakfast and a lane deal. Also, there's a weeknight that has a bowling fee deal. I believe it's Monday and/or Tuesday

Haven't been bowling for years and have this place a try. I was very impressed. The energy was high on a Saturday night, all lanes filled! Place was clean, lanes were excellent. Solid bowling alley!

Pin-chasers in Temple,TX had highly disappointed everyone upon arrival!? Wonderful facility but the staff had incorrectly booked the birthday party for a friends child and the parents were put in very difficult situation! As the guests arrived and the celebration seemed tenuous! The staff were able to get the party started eventually and the event went on from there! The drama was over but the opinion of the guests was poor with the introduction to Pin-Chasers in Temple. The seats were frayed and the bever

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
