said: ?????????? We had an awesome time at the Pizza Pirate Parlor! The laser tag was a blast, and the arcade was a hit. We showed up for the last hour before closing and basically got to shut the place down, which made it even more fun. The tokens working with the ticket machine was a cool touch, and the prices were fair. If you're looking for a fun spot with games and great vibes, this place is a must-visit! Would definitely come back!
Mini Golf is 9 holes and very fun, a lot to look at! Highly creative! Food is good and super affordable. The whole restaurant and game areas are very clean and very creatively decorated.
My husband and I took a group of 7 kids here during spring break on a weekday around 530 and the place was very busy. Stood in line for only a few minutes but realized once I ordered there weren't any tables close enough for us to all sit together. This was my first time going and if we go again I will make sure to find tables and have kids hold them while I stand in line to order. The arcade games were cheaper than I was expecting and the kids were able to play all the games they wanted despite it being b
Hands down, amazing experience! The pizza was piping hot with a perfect crust - exactly what we were craving. The food quality was excellent across the board, and the staff went above and beyond with their helpful service. Bonus points for the awesome arcade that kept the kids (and let's be real, the adults too) thoroughly entertained. A great spot for a fun family outing!
Fun place to take the kids. However a lot of times a lot of the arcade games are out of order. A few times it was a majority of them out of order. Unfortunately one of our favorite games was out of order. Seems like they're not very quick to get them repaired! But when all the games are up and running it's a fun place, The salad bar is awesome and their pizza is awesome. Could maybe step it up a little bit as far as cleaning the booths making sure there's no crumbs and old food and stuff stuck to the table
I haven't been since I was a little kid and didn't know what to expect. The place was super clean, games didn't take too many coins, pizza was good. The mini golf was only $5 and I thought pretty cute. The staff was friendly and service was great :). Thank you for keeping this place alive and well!!
We had a birthday party here and for the most part it was pretty good. The one thing that I really didn't like was it was having to kind of pay in pieces which made it a little frustrating during the birthday party but the prices were pretty reasonable for the extras that we bought and that we wanted to do. All in all definitely will be going back may not be for a birthday party though.
This is the original Pietro's Pizza, which says both good and bad. It is definitely not up-to-date. But it has that classic kid fun place atmosphere. We went on a Saturday, and it was insane busy! Waited over 30 min for a table, and over 1 hour more for the food. At least half of the games here were either out of order or didn't work... There seemed to be enough staff, kinda. At the front counter, there didn't seem to be, but I saw many staff walking around and doing what they could wherever they were. I d
Staff was awesome and super nice. Shout-out to Andromeda. The food was alright, definitely high priced for the quality. Pizza was served with the largest slices of tomatoes ever. We probably should have stuck with plain old cheese and pepperoni and it would have been great. Skip the wings. Loved playing all the games (they have guitar hero!).
Pretty good pizza and the games are pretty cheap (the pizza was not). The token machine accepts $1, $5s, $10s & $20s, 4 tokens per dollar w/ most games costing 1 or 2 tokens per play & some costing 4 tokens. Some games were broken, but not so many it was a problem.
The pizza is always amazing. The service is always friendly. But the interior has gone down over the last few years. More than half of the arcade games were down. Which disappointed my kids. The lighting is dark and dingy. You can't see the beautiful old-time photos hanging on the walls. Just feels depressing sitting at the tables. I only added a few photos
First time here. I heard a lot about this place and I don't have kids so I called in a Togo order. I was informed that it will be 15 to 20 min. 35 min later the attending(s) went to check. They told.me when I called it was more like around an hour wait. Now I'm sitting here with the kids running ramped having to wait for my pizza. I hope it's as good as I've been told if not I will not be back.
Now this place is awesome! Token arcade with physical tickets, kitschy, older arcade games (some of which I swear came out of some closed down arcades I used to go to), great minigolf and pizza. Kids of all ages will appreciate this place. This place reminds me a LOT of the Funtasia/Family Fun Center in Edmonds, WA, with fewer outdoor amenities. And has a lot of the same games... VERY CHEAP ARCADE TOO!! 5 dollars got me quite a few tokens. When I'm in town again I will be back...!!!
It has been a while since we've been here. I came to treat myself for my birthday lunch. We have been coming here for years, birthdays, family dinners etc. There's something so nostalgic about this place. Definitely a must try in Salem.
Fun venue to get lunch or dinner with the family. The mini golf is super fun. The games were a good value, but several were not working when we were there. Will definitely go again.
We wings and salad bar and potato wedges. The wings and potato wedges were barely warm. The salad bar was good. The game area for kids was fun for them but they only had one ticket redemption machine in operation and it was a nightmare to cash them in
One of the first places we ever tried in Salem, we created our own combo, and have stuck with it ever since. We only go here for that one pizza. We've tried some of their other food, and it's not very high quality. The pizza is on the pricier end, in my opinion. The restaurant has lots of kid-friendly activities and games, so it's a great place to have a birthday party or spend a weekend evening. When they're busy, service can be pretty slow and backed up, even if you call ahead and order over the phone. Th
If you've seen hot tub Time Machine then walk into this place. When I was younger, this place was top notch. Going in there today, they forgot my order, they limit my beers to only 2 beers, 1/3 of the games work. And ones that do, are very greasy. Places that are better than this place: Chuck E. Cheese, McDonald?s, the homeless shelter downtown, airplane peanuts.
Amazing pizza, friendly people, very nostalgic atmosphere
Always great service and delicious pizza!
That was the best pizza I've had in a long time. And I eat a lot of pizza, ??. The crust was ever so slightly crispy, and the toppings on my supreme were all top notch! Contrary to a couple of other reviews, the crust was not undercooked, mushrooms were fresh, not slimy, and the olive slices were quite tasty. The pepperoni was quite flavorful, but it didn't burn my mouth like so many of them do. And the cheese was rich and flavorful! Had it delivered as room service to me at the hotel across the street by
If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I came here for my son?s fifth birthday party super excited for all the kiddos to have a good time and over half of their games are out of order! These places get expensive and they're just leaving their machines broken. I also asked for a larger table to accommodate my group instead of using two They said they had reservations, which is totally understandable, I said I was willing to wait for a larger table no matter how long it took, but they said they could
Pietro?s is always good! A bit pricy, but the food never disappoints! And this Pietro?s is Very Kid and Family friendly! Lots of games to play! Plus Laser Tag!! We came for a big family reunion.. all the kids had a Fabulous time and some of the adults got in on the action playing Laser Tag! This is our extended families second year in a row coming to this Pietro?s for our once a year get together! Fun Times! Good Food! Lasting memories made! :)
??????????The Pietro?s Salem employees are great! pepperoni pizza is really delicious! Old school fun place! The Mini golf 3D glasses glow dark so fun! They have Lazer tag also. The Arcade is is really cool , there is a good salad bar , they have good soft serve ice cream swirl good. Great atmosphere, good fun for everyone. Used to be a fire station many years ago such a cool place.
This is the 3rd time in the last 3 or so years I've been here for a birthday party or event and more then half their games are not working or eat your tokens. Each time I've gone more and more of their games are out of order. It's like they just leave them or move them to the side and choose not to fix them. While I was there today the virtual roller coaster ride/game was working in the beginning and then about half way threw our party I stopped working... and it's 8 tokens, so $2. My kids didn't inform me
SO Fun! All Pirate Themed. Fluorescent Painted Ocean Themed Walled Mini Golf Rooms, Dark Room Lazer Tag, Excellent Pizza & Salad Bar, Fun Arcade, No Disappointments. Worth the drive to Salem!
Place was really busy. Pizza wait time was 1.5 hours to 2 hours. Pizza was great once it arrived. Order as soon as you get in or ahead of time to ensure it's ready for when you are ready to eat.
The pizza was good personally their was to much cheese/not enough sauce but the person who came with me said that it tasted better to them so it depends what you like. The cheesy garlic bread wasn't very flavorful and kind of dull it would have been better if their was just a bit more garlic in it, the place it's self was really cool although we only we're in the dining area.
Food is amazeballs. Games are janky and mini golf smells like pee. Haven't tried the lazertag, can't really rate that experience.
Great service, very friendly. The pizza was okay, probably better than average but the price is way out of line. Nearly $100 (after tip) for 2 large pizzas is just crazy. 1 pizza with 4 toppings was nearly $50! The other pizza had only 2 toppings.
Be prepared for packed but in a such a nice, hometown corny theme way. Also the guy in the cap at the counter is hot. No wonder all the moms throw their birthday parties here. Serious fun.
Over 4 years of dashing this is the only place I've ran into that cheats their stats and makes the drivers waste their time and gas. Its always "10 minutes " away.
We ordered on door dash 3 individual pizzas and jojos but only got 1 pizza and jojos. Staff in Salem rang it in wrong and made it right by remaking the hole order and delivering it themselves.
Update one year later 2/5/23** It was busy but not terrible. We got our door within a reasonable time. Almost all of the games were out of order. It was hard to spend the tokens we bought. We went on a Sunday. It was crazy busy. It took over and hour to get our food. Many of the games are out of order. We still had a good time.
I really want to like this place. It's nice to have a regional alternative to this type of place. I've been here 4-5 times this year for various kids birthday parties. The food isn't bad for a kid?s party place. But the main reason to come here is the games. About 75% of the games in the arcade are out of order. The remaining games are really unbalanced on the token to potential ticket ratio, so about half of what's left is not fun to play. So there's basically like 4 games worth playing. The mini golf is
The pizza is delicious! It is a very fun place with lots of games. Sadly, their prices have gone up way too high. ?? Almost $40 for 1 pizza isn't plausible for my budget.
Absolutely disgusting facility. This place is filthy. We got there an hour after they opened. I would have thought it would have been somewhat clean. 3/4 of the games are physically broken and out of service. The games that did work didn't work properly. What a dive! Don't waste your money.
this place has gone SEVERELY downhill. it's very half of their arcade games are out of order but they still wanna charge $1 per game that actually work. The ticket reader indicates that you get more tickets but the print off is less. The ticket dude rudely said ?the display is wrong but the ticket is right? okay? not our problem. maybe put up a sign? Literally such a crap experience and will definitely not be back. dont waste your money or time. There isnt even anything nostalgic about this place anymore.
It's way too expensive for what it is, the arcade is very meh. The pizza is... good, but not crazy good (for the price, it's simply not worth it). terrible place for a birthday party btw. Avoid if busy. Did i mention the price is too high lol.
I used to eat pietro pizza quite a bit. I ordered 2 large pizzas for the super bowl and I was disappointed. I ordered a thin crust pepperoni that was not thin crust. I ordered a combination with no peppers and it was horrible. I will not eat there again. Very disappointed.
Games were broken or had error codes. I hit a jackpot on a game, and the machine struck an error code. When I talked with an employee, it was supposed to be handled, but it wasn't. Was very disappointed cause it was my daughter birthday on Thursday and she was very disappointed with the lack of games.
Id not been here since i was a kid. The crust, corn meal touch, and flame oven still has its amazinf flavor since years gone by. The establishment is surprisingly clean and well maintained. Staff work really well with one another it seems, and the pie came out great. Recommend a small pint and a medium.pizza for a friday after a graveyard!
Great pizza! This is a kid friendly parlor with plenty of games, so expect noise and kaous. Good thing they serve beer
I came purely for the food, and regardless of the atmosphere, my pizza was ON POINT. I got an individual sized Gold Coast and I had no regrets. Perfectly crispy crust, loaded with toppings, and just the right size! If you don't mind the sound of kids and games, the food is a must-try.
Love this place but several of the arcade games were out of service. Had so much fun in the laser tag and mini golf!!
I wish we would have planned to eat there. I know my great granddaughter would have loved it! The pizza was great!
Lasertag here is pretty darn good. Krista and Nick were helping, and they were great, made our dayto have patient folks helping us. Prices are a little high and the arcade seemed dated... lasertag is the main attraction in my opinion, pretty fun.
Kid friendly. Lazer tag AND Miniature golf. Great salad bar. Fresh! The pizza speaks for itself. Many choices. Open late. Great for a quick lunch, birthday party, group gathering.
Food was ok I'm not a fan but everyone else liked it. Service was fine they were understaffed but the staff that showed up was great. However when I say almost every single game and machine was broken i mean it....don't waste your time here. It's gone so downhill. This used to be the place for parties and fun now almost all machines have out of order signs on them and those that don't their signs were torn off by kids.
Wow, this road trip to a High School Reunion was here and they have plenty of room and are well staved. Employees are ready to help and get things for you and help navigate you where you are supposed to be. Everyone was super friendly in this super clean, extra large place with lots of seating for get togethers. There's a black light laser tag area and video games to play with the kids. Four paws up for an excellent salad bar and yummy fresh pizza. Thank you girls for all your help getting my best friends b
I ordered a pizza for delivery and had made a mistake on the order, so I gave them a quick call, the lady that picked up was super kind and cooperative. Pizza came out great! 10/10
Every time we order pizza from Pietro?s we are never disappointed. Friendly staff they have yet to disappoint . With all these delivery companies pizza places rarely have ?pizza delivery drivers ? but Pietro?s does. We always give a nice tip because they aren't any service fees so the tip goes straight to the delivery person. The original way people used to make extra income or a part time job for a high school students. Strongly suggest! STILL AN AWESOME PIZZA PLACE AD OF 1/28/25
Excellent Food. Horrible Service. After waiting over an hour outside for tables for a group of over 20, (and we did tell them we would sit separately) we were met with very rude service & berating of the adults in the group who ordered alcohol. Not all adults were drinking, and the servers accused the adults of over-drinking with kids present. (Not true either.) A sports team in town for State Championships, we were in no way risking the kids safety. Would recommend for the food, but advise you to do take-o
This place was gross and dirty the pizza was ok of course but half the games eat your money or they didn't work all the money we spent and everyone else you would think they would invest in this place ...it's a buissness it's lucky to be thriving but at this rate how long
I've eaten here a few times, usually for lunch. I like their pizza it's always very good. The salad bar is hit or miss. Sometimes the salad seems like it's not very fresh but over all is still good and has a decent amount of toppings. There's an arcade area, glow in the dark put-put golf and Lazer tag for fun activities that are decently priced.
Had a birthday party when we arrived our table was not ready and had to wait had to keep going and asking for things we should have had at our table over half of the games were not working and not marked out of order so the kids keep losing their tokens. Long line at the ticket eatter only 1 out of 4 were working played Laser tag and that was pretty awesome the kids and adults had a blast playing laser tag
Friendly, wide variety for kids up to 16+, delicious and fresh. A ti y bit loud but...to be expected.
Best pizza in town wish washington never got rid of them. Always gonna visit whenever I'm around.
Great Pizza and fun for any age kids/teens/?adults?.
It was absolutely terrible! Everything is super expensive! The food was mediocre, the games were 4 tokens to play, most of them were out of order, and a few didn't even work properly. Most of the token and ticket counting machines were also out of order. The prizes for tickets were cheap and lame, but they cost a lot of tickets to get. We will not be going back! I'm very disappointed. It's sad that such a salem icon has gone downhill so badly, and no one there seems to even care.
Family friendly establishment. Kids enjoy the games. Fair prices for food and games.
I ordered online and when I got my order it was wrong. When I called back to let them know they quickly fixed the right pizza and got my missing items. They were so very nice and went above and beyond. The food was great.
The golfing was fun. 3d glasses made it very unique. We were misled about the size of our pizza and got a much smaller one than was pointed out to us. It was crazy packed, and we had to wait for someone to leave before getting a table even though we had already ordered our food. Games were fun, but there are a lot that just eat your tokens and are out of order. If they're that packed all the time, there's no reason they shouldn't have the money to be fixing these games and making sure that they expand
It's cool for lil kids is say 12 and under maybe even 10 and under. My husband used to go to pietro when he was a kid and it's still open which is amazing and the pizza is ok he loves it more than I but its good obviously Saturday the day we went was crazy busy and most of the games are out of order which sucked but for a birthday or a weekday dinner I'd take the kids a lil bit of games to win prizes and good pizza
Always fun, as they have an arcade, mini golf, and laser tag. The pizza is fantastic, with an amazing cracker crust, and a huge selection of toppings. Prices are a bit high, but well worth it for the quality you get. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all a good time.
Had our grandkids party there. It's a fun place for them to play. It can be spendy, but the pizza is good and the kids have fun. They do accommodate for parties.
Our first time to this place first impression very well was greeted quickly professional with a smile. They claim to be the number one pizza place, sadly I disagree little bit of a high price on the pizza, and sadly they don't offer any specials. There macaroni and cheese is served at room temperature I had to ask them to heat it up which they happily did. About the salad bar, my wife and I were waiting for this young man to clean it up and refill and as he did he took his sweet time as if no one was arou
My family enjoys coming here pizzas is good so is the saled & my family enjoys the arcade
An individual-sized GF, Vegetarian pizza is less than $10 here ... AND it's yummy, too ??
Decent pizza and a salad bar. Arcade games, 3D glowing mini golf, and pirate themed laser tag make this a great place for kids and birthday parties. Their laser tag equipment is great and the course is really fun. The staff are patient and helpful with kids.
So much fun! Laser tag! Putt putt glow in the dark 3d! Arcade and ticket prize booth! Pizza! We had 3 birthday parties here, lots of fun!
Ive loved this place since I was a kid. The only downside I have ever experienced is when it is crazy busy.
Pizza was delicious as ever! Wings were amazing and the spicy one was spicy. Also enjoy bringing the family here!
Pizza is on point, love the cracker thin crust. Salad bar could use an upgrade. Old school style, lots of games for kids... prizes. Could use a few more TVs, bigger TVs.
I would come here again. I live 1.5 hours away and will never second guess making a trip here.
This was a great experience! I took a friend of mine and her daughter for a night out. We had a great pizza, the service was very awesome and very friendly! Great atmosphere and just had a blast! Only small complaint is that a lot of the machines in the arcade were either in disrepair or just outright broken but overall it was a minor thing. We'll definitely be back!
The pizza is not the best but not the worst I've eaten as someone who has worked in a pizza place before. The service is not bad but when it comes to serving groups they need to have plates and cups ready instead of having the customer ask for them. The atmosphere is ok for children when it comes to the game areas but I would not recommend this place as a place that is a must because it's not.
Great Pizza and Salad Bar. Lunch special is the best deal around
Good food and entertainment. Need to repair some of the arcade games as they were tagged" out of order."
Love love their pizza!!! Atmosphere is out dated. Nice people
We were a party of 4 on Saturday 3 23 24. The place was hopping! Several birthday parties, lots of kids, & noise. The service was wonderful! We were met at the door by a couple of friendly young ladies & were put on the list. About 25 mins later one of them personally searched us out in the arcade because our phone number wasn't quite correct. That was above and beyond. We were seated & had some really terrific pizza. Very happy with this experience.
Good atmosphere, great employees and laser tag was pretty cool and affordable. Less stars is half the games we're out and the other half of the games just took tokens and it happened so frequently it was waste of money and time to get an attendee. Pizza was mediocre.
The pizza is great! I love the pepperoni, my wife loves the beef Taco pizza (and she doesn't usually at other places) and our daughter loves the Canadian Bacon. The staff is friendly, our order is always correct. It has lots of games to win tickets, though some are broken. Plus, I LOVE THEIR PIZZA!
We had a birthday party here a couple weeks ago and I was very disappointed with how almost half of all their games were out of order. Literally! There were at least 15 games that were broken with a sign on it! You don't see that at Chuck E Cheese?s or other places. If you're planning a party - go somewhere else!
Love Pietros pizza and great salad bar. Been going here for many years!!!
Still my favorite pizza place, although I have to drive 60 miles to get there.
Cute place for younger kids. Pizza is a bit expensive but tastes amazing. It isn't heavy or greasy. We ordered the BBQ chicken with pineapple
We had a lunch special of breadsticks and salad. It was tasty. Service was cordial, And it was clean. At one time was a fire house. Making it a lot of fun to look at.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
