Customer Reviews

As someone with children, this is a fantastic place to bring them on a nice afternoon. The mini-golf course is 1-of a-kind and you won't find any place with as good of minigolf in the south Chicago land area. 100% recommend bringing your kids, you'll have a blast!

They did a lot of updating since I was there last year... Arcade looks fantastic with upgraded games, driving range also upgraded with simulators and nice seating. . Mini golf is better than anything else in the area.

PGN Fun Village offers 2 excellent 18?s - West Course & East Course. Both are equally legal & fun, perhaps one is slightly more scenic than the other. A little fast (so late in the season tho) but good for proper competitive play. I imagine this being an excellent venue for organizing a future tournament amongst friends. PGN Fun Village takes their Halloween decorating to another level. Chucklesome tombstones & mischievous skeletons; some incorporating special effects! Love the attention to detail here.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Wonderful memories and now I take my kids. Great staff. Prices could be better would like to do more with the kids when here. Upkeep has definitely gotten better too. Look forward to spending some family time here this spring.

Went for mini golf with the wife was kinda expensive $14 each adult. I guess its more on weekends. Although, we were able to play both courses. With a little luck!!! Probably, will come back in another 5years if it's still there. ??

I hoasted my daughter?s party here, the prices are affordable, and the service is beyond amazing! The staff is so kind, and welcoming. I would like to mainly thank Staci for helping me with the process, she also did amazing brining our food and drinks on time. Thank you all, you guys make an amazing team.

First time here? my fianc? and I like to mini golf so we will travel around IL to try out new courses, and decided to come here. I thought it was absurd that it's $40 to play their two courses. While the holes were fun and challenging? it's not worth the price. Water is dirty and saw a couple of dead baby birds on the ground. They also had these MASSIVE black wasps, and I am not kidding; 4 inch long murder hornets buzzing around every hole that looked like they came from from Hell (was able to get a pic of

My dad would bring my siblings and I here as kids. It was always a lot of fun. I still come here! My boyfriend and I really like it! We love to come play miniature golf! We always have a great time. They have two different courses for miniature golf. They have an arcade. Great games. I played a few last time I went. Some of the machines weren't dispensing tickets, but we didn't care We were just enjoying the games. They didn't have a great selection of prizes. We just left our tickets in the token dispenser

Always love stopping here for some mini golf. Course is pretty basic but they do have it set up nice. Inside the game room has dwindled down to very few (which half still didn't work or out of service) but you can always count on it being less packed than haunted trails or other similar places!! They also have a driving range! ??

Disgusting, went on a weekend and ended up paying $54 for four people to mini golf. On top of that the place is just run down. Spend your money elsewhere they obviously don't care about your experience. We also arrived 2 hours after they opened and no one cared to turn the water on. Broken bridges, dead birds on the dried up river bend. To top it all off there was a women's personal item floating in the water next to a baby bottle....

In desperate need of upgrades. Staff is nice, and it's clean, but everything is out of date from decor to equipment and the building overall. Wasted prime space that could be more games or a place to move the ticket/redemption counter so the food counter could expand. Still using paper tickets when they could save time and money with digital and give kids an easy easy to save up for larger toys. Speaking of toys, when I was a kid the back wall of toys had a premium feel and seemed basically unattainable

I just learned about this place a few months ago.. I really like it. My grandson's love going and the best part is the very low prices to get in plus it's only a few miles from my house.. So over all I give 4 ?s..it would be 5 if they had longer hours.. That's the only bad comment for this establishment.... I recommend you to take your children

SUPER, and I mean super dirty, the workers were no help. The bathrooms were the stinkiest I've ever smelled. Half the machines were broken, and to add on, the guy seemed to be the manager. He was rude as hell, and the birthday room was not ready

Mini golf is great - game room is lacking. It was a lot better 15 years ago. Many tiles have large holes and are cracked. The game area was a bit of a dump. Really needs a lot of work. Clean, but worn out looking. Women's bathroom clean and looks newly remodeled. Men's was clean, but again everything was showing it's age. Cracked grout, all the chrome fittings were covered in grime and green. Range was great.

Had a great time playing mini golf with my son. Kinda boring course though. Arcade is small but fun. Will return.

It's something different then always going to Chuck-E-Cheese. it lacks on arcade game but it is overall a great place to take children. The food wasn't that good.

We love it here! My son had a birthday party here a couple years ago. It is a great golf course that has 2 to choose from. The prizes weren't as bad as some arcades I've taken my kids to

We went to go mini golf asked the lady if they had any specials or packages she told me no. Got done with mini golf kids wanted to play in the arcade and I see a sign after I bought tickets. Saying 30$ for tokens a pizza and drinks. Like if I knew that I wouldn't have bought the tokens I did. Half the machines they have don't work. Place looks run down needs work. Spent almost 100$ and I feel like I just waisted my money. Manger wouldn't do anything.

Great place to bring the family and the prices are amazing. great for a party or even something to just do last minute I would so recommend this place, whenever I'm back in the area I will be sure to visit here again

Good place to spend a few hours, decent prices $6 M-TH for a wristband to use inflatables and tubular play area, $8 F-S some inflatables are really wearing out but they do the work

First time there for my nephew?s birthday party. The kids had fun and the wings were banging. A win win!

It was ok. They don't have a lot of games and I see one side was blocked off. Some of the games were broken again. I've been years ago, but decided to give it another shot at it. I also feel like the bounce house should be included and not be $12.

Manager was no help when the ATM didn't give me the money I requested. She told me wait for it to go back into your bank. 2 days later, the money was taken from my account and I never received my cash bc according to her, it was declined. I said no, clearly it was taken out. I went through my bank to get my money back b/c why deal with the manager who didn't want to help in the 1st place. It happened to a guy after me and that's when she went to check it and said it was an internet connection issue. Won't b

We had a wonderful time We hit the 2500 ticket jackpot

This kids love it! We had a birthday party there and the pitchers were always full, the pizzas were right on time and pretty good.

This place has really gone downhill. The arcade always has half the games out of order. The ones that do work eat your coins most of the time. I would only go for driving range or mini golf but their prices are high for low quality environment. The staff barely speaks English.

My son loves this place, when I bring him I do not feel welcome, I wish they would maintain the facility better

I specifically called ahead of time and was told they are open until 10 pm. Also, not to mention it's on the website but was told at 820, I had to be done by 9 because they close. Still pay full price and hours don't match the posted hours. NO THANKS!

Definitely ????? from me! Good service, clean place and a very beautiful mini golf zone.

Been going here since I was a little kid now I bring my son here and he loves it. So many great memories and a great place to go Mini golfing, play some games or hit a bucket of golf balls

I had an amazing experience with the tall brown guy. He was amazing and so nice to my cousins. He gave them extra tickets and was kind enough to offer us some extra candy. PGN, you guys have a good kid working for you. Quality worker, and amazing place!

The big brown kid was very nice and respectful to me and my kiddos. Although the place was a bit busy we had fun and were treated amazingly . As I mentioned the big brown kid was kind enough to give my kids some extra candy and I was able to chat it up with him afterwards! Great kid with a bright future and hope the best for him.

1st time back here in a while and we were kinda disappointed, no inflatables ! Don't know what happened! But we still had a great time ! Great place

A big big 18 hole mini-golf is awesome

3 hrs with kids there ,wore them out, spent about $70 on 3 kids wist bands for the bounce houses and play area were $8 ,$25 for pizza and pop. $20 on tokens

Came here a few times. My kids love it here and enjoy playing the games and the jungle gym area. We even had my little 4 year olds bday here. It was nice.

Good place for practice your swings. Besides de mini, of course. Easy going place.

We had a blast at our 2nd Annual Panther Put-Put Golf Tourney. CLAUDIA won with a score of 52!!!

I just had my son's first birthday here.... I've been coming here for years myself.! I had a huge group of kids and adults of all ages. Everyone had a great time. They didn't rush me out and let me come in almost an hour before my party time to decorate. I paid the 14.50 for each child to be able to do everything they offered indoor and they love it all. The huge tunnel room, the game room and the jump houses. Granted the game room had a few games that were down, but thats just something that happens! Not a

The mini golf was the only fun thing we did. The arcade is terrible. More than half the machines don't work. If you want to come here, only use the mini golf and golf course. Edit: I take it back. It is pretty good now. They fixed a lot of the machines and the mini golf is still super fun.

Driving range is still in good shape but arcade needs a lot of improvement. A lot of games out of order, taking tokens, and not giving correct amount of tickets. Used to love this place as a kid. Sad to see its gone down hill.

If I could give 0 stars I would . I booked a birthday party here under false pretenses & once I was made aware & tried to rectify the situation I was treated unfairly! Co-manager KRISTY/CHRISTY was very rude & snappy & once the energy she put out was given back she played victim . MANAGER LAURA was not any better . She was just as rude & basically told me I was lying & stated that one of her employees didn't say something that he did in fact say . She then proceeded to hang up on me . I'm not sure what kind

This place was my life when I was little in the early 90's. Mini golf was always a blast and the arcade was bustling full of working machines/lights. It's a shame to have watched this place go downhill as I got older. Wish I could buy it and return it to its full potential

Took my neice and nephew. Most of the games were fun. One or two games were turned off. The employees were helpful, especially when we were redeeming tickets. The building seemed fairly clean and we'll maintained. We didn't try any food, just had some drinks. I'd prefer if they added several more arcade games, I think they have plenty of space.

First time here, spacious, big parking, food is good especially for what you paying for (cheap, inexpensive) . Admission for bouncy house is affordable. More like a 3-7 year old age group. Small arcade but most were down and ATM was down too so that's the only thing that sucked. My husband had to run to chase to get money for arcade. Manager or employee whatever he is said it happens very often so that threw me off. Sounds like they need a better way to handle that

This place is okay for a kids bday party... I guess. Everything just looked so outdated and too dark. The "party rooms" are the size of tuna cans and the pizza looks very unappetizing. The floors were all sticky and the playground looks very unclean. The video games are from the early 2K.

Update* (1 more star) I visited today with my family, but we ended up leaving earlier than expected because of another group of people there. (They were trying to steal tickets & tipping machines while the 2 Moms watched). There has been a GREAT IMPROVEMENT on the machines though! We enjoyed all of them & the golf range as well. The employees need to at least smile, I mean they're getting paid to be there.

Reasonable prices, clean, and fun for younger kids

Cool mini golf course! Unfortunately staff/service was a bit lacking. After 13 holes, took 4 year old nephew inside (it's 90 degrees out) for something cold to drink. I understand staff having other things to do, but a courteous "be with you in a second/moment" is, well, courteous (especially when we were just ordering a child a drink after spending an hour or so outside in 90 degree heat)

First, there's no inflatables. Second, no ball pit. Pictures need to be updated for this place . Those are the two things my toddler likes and we came here to find out they were no longer at PGN.

Very affordable way to spend a few hours with my 6 year old. The climbing gym is large and in good shape. Arcade is showing its age. My husband used the driving range and said it was good

Visited PGN for a Birthday party of a friend of my daughters. The tunnels and balls and obstacles were a Blast! The food was also great and staff very helpful and cheery. The video games seemed a little expensive and I did see a couple bugs, but with a huge place in spring that's to be expected. Overall a great place to burn off some of that endless kid energy.

A great place to come for video games, air hockey, basketball hoops etc, kids playing in the tubes and tunnels. We also played miniature golf. One of the nicest miniature golf courses I have played on. The also have a driving range. A great spot for family fun or just something to do on a bad weather day if you need to be indoors but have to get out of the house

Minature golf is great. The game room inside leaves a lot to be desired.

I absolutely love this place! It's tons of fun and it's for the whole family and friends plus kids too! Brings you back to your childhood days, having a good time but it can get expensive buying tokens to play games. Definitely recommend you bring your family, friends and kids here for fun and birthday parties too

Great cheap place to take kids but if they say they have a field trip turn around. There were kids throwing a balls at my kids face and nothing was done. I have been going to this place for 5 years now between my 2 kids but this was the only time I had a problem. The staff is super helpful normally and my kids always have fun. They have a new jerrasic park shooting game that my 8 year loves.

When it's very cold outside, this is a pretty good place to let my kids run around like ferrets. Indoor play place, inflatable jumping area, arcade games and games that you can win tickets with to get candy. All the kids I saw there were having fun, including mine.

Took my family here for the mini golf course and the arcade inside they have. I had found a Groupon deal for the mini golf so it was a good deal for 4 people. My family had fun coming here the only downside I would say is the swarming wasps outside on the courses that come too close for comfort. But had to just keep walking and try not to bump into them. The staff is nice and it's fairly maintained and clean. The arcades are decent they are pretty generous with the prizes once you collect enough tickets. My

This place is a dump. I've been here twice. First time on a date for mini golf and when we got there we were very underwhelmed because of how much of a dump the course was. Additionally when you walk into the front, the arcade is in a little corner. Maybe 7-8 gaming machines but that's it. I went a second time because I wanted to give the place a second chance hoping they'd make improvements but of course I was proven wrong. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The Groupons are not worth it

As always this is a great place to have a kids birthday party. The private party rooms are nice. Unlike other party places where you are smashed in with other parties. The servers are friendly. The place where the kids climb is clean. I love that they added a couple of bounce houses cause the little kids who don't want to go in the tubes can bounce away.

Don't spend your money there for the tickets machines don't give your tickets! Even the manager won't help you she'll tell you that you didn't win

My son is CRAZY ABOUT THIS PLACE! From the bouncy houses, to the ball put, and giant tube structure, he says its awesome! And you can have private birthday parties in tour own room, or not in a room. It's really clean here too

Came in at 9 to play some golf and when we got there the worker denied us and told us to leave. It says also they close at 10 never coming back for the workers ride attitude

This place is actually very cheap/inexpensive compared to the arcade gaming/play place in the near suburban areas. If you have little kids that are seven or under, I would definitely recommend this place if you don't want to spend a ton compared to like Hollywood park in Crestwood, or kids play in alsip. Those places are also great, but PGN is definitely way less expensive compared to the others, and I think it's much more appealing for smaller kids.

I took my 8 yr old grandson. We had fun playing the arcade games, had some pizza & slushies & 18 holes of mini golf. It was very hot but what does one expect for July 4th. The blow up jumping castles were not open or blown up. They were in the corner of the arcade. Not sure if the slides and ball pit was open. All in all it was a good time.

A lot of the games just took our coins and we couldn't play some of the games. The bouncy houses were not up. The pizza was good.

the game room is kinda small and the floor is all broken. but i like that they still have tickets and tokens. unlike other places with game cards. the price counter is nice. but i got something from the price counter and it was broken when i opened it when i went to ask the lady about it she didn't say anything she just pointed to a sign that said ?no returns?

same here today for Valentine's Day is a small treat for my boys. I got a Groupon deal and I also had an expired Groupon. The manager was hesitant but welcome me to use both of them at the same time. The young teenager were very accommodating and professional. I highly recommend this place if you just want to have some quality time with your family on a budget. The place was clean the pizza was delicious and the games were decent.

Great staff, games are back to functional but the old carpets and building needs a little tlc.

I love this place for throwing parties and the play center. I wish they would update the arcade games (most don't work) that is the only reason why not a 5 star. The mini golf courses we're just redone and a blast. I throw my daughter's bday parties here and the host are awesome and reasonably priced!! My daughter will be 7 soon so getting her next party in order and it will of course be here. Please update the games and it will be 5 stars all the way.

My nephew had a birthday party and the manger was the most racist person. When we came she was so rude and her vibes was so bad we bearly wanted to stay please don't go here if you don't wanna deal with racist behavior

We had a birthday party here and they did an excellent job! Our party attendant was very helpful and made sure we always had what we needed. Would definitely recommend for a child's birthday party that includes lots of fun for the kids at a very reasonable price.

Staff was friendly and the course was beautiful. Each hole is fun without any frustrating obstacles. Definitely a great course for a casual game of mini golf. An off putting smell near the beginning of the course was truly the only downside I encountered on my trip. Totally recommended!

This place is great to host parties for little ones and also to bring little ones to play in the jump and play center. Mini golf is fun and owner is nice. However video game wise I wouldn't come here, machines are always broken or they take your tokens.

Nice place for small children to play at. The food is decent. There is an arcade area for older kids and adults but it's quite small. It has a ball pit for kids to play in which always raises the cleanliness question. For the most part my kids enjoyed it.

Although this is a good cost effective way to entertain the kids, the staff needs to enforce the rules better. I saw several children in both areas with no socks on. I witnessed a patron being scolded for having outside food , however the employee clearly overlooked the child with no socks who just strolled past her. I would think your staff should be more concerned with safety and health hazards vs food revenue.

This place is awful. Half the games are broken, the games that do work are 3 or 4 tokens(a dollar for skiball?), and overall the place is just very dirty. The woman at the front desk was VERY nice to my daughter though and allowed her to pick out some great prizes even though she didn't have many tickets.

Great place to take your children. The machines use tokens. $20 will get you a lot of them. The games range between 1-4 tokens depending on the game. There are also a few "jumpy houses" for small children. There is also a "play room" that has tunnels and climbing structures for an additional fee (optional).

The mini golf is fun and very vintage. It hasn't changed much in the 20+ years I've been coming here. There are some worn down areas, and the water doesn't always look the cleanest, but it's pure nostalgic joy for me when the family goes. I think it's fun. The arcade is probably half the size it used to be when I was a kid; it was reduced to make an inflatable room for the kids, which is who this arcade is geared toward. It won't overly impress adults. There are some good value options in the arcade, but t

This place used to be a lot better. My wife and I went there on 07/27/2013 for mini golf and there was a lot left to be desired. Both courses had water features that did not work but had scummy water still in them. Greens coming up, plaster and bricks coming apart, even a bridge and a hole with no railing around it and it was about a 4 foot drop to the sidewalk below. Inside they took out a lot of games to add in inflatables, and those seemed very nice. The games they did have seemed to be for younger

When we visited, we were asking questions about age and syze of children to play in the climbing area. The staff members told us our daughter would be able to play, however, when we went to pay we were told something different and the manager lady was rude. When I suggested they train employees better so they would know policy and procedures, her reply was that is why she is there. I laughed because one person can not be in every area. After a negative exchange I asked for my money back and we left.

Very nice place but not enough for babies, when we asked they said we closed the baby section since Covid

Had another birthday party and another disappointment, horrible service from Malik and whoever else was in charge of the parties. Games always out of order, it's been 2 years since I've been there and they still haven't fixed the games. I'm done with this place, Haunted Trails is the only arcade venue around the area worth spending the money at. I will not be there or let my kids go there again.

We would go at least 4 or 5 times over the summer for mini golf. Today it was 15 dollars per person for mini golf which used to cost half that. So this will be the last time this summer. I get having to raise prices but to raise it that much. Sorry my family will play somewhere else.

I contacted them to inquire about their operating hours due to light snowfall. They assured me they were open, prompting a 20-minute drive. Upon arrival, however, we were informed that they were, in fact, closed.

Ok... Great on price its spot on and the kids can have a lot of fun all day! Now onto the food and beverages...Less than mediocre,,its priced right but c'mon. Its pizza how could be so blahs. The chicken fingers where good but the bbq sauce tasted like smoked sausage, the cola not Coke yes cola was watery the fries blah, nacho' stale ...If you're going for kid stuff fine forget about eating in there, oh and how can I forget what the ketchup after taste was fishy....The cheese sticks where actually tasty, Bu

Low selection of games, ones that don't have a broken sign on them eat your coins. Staff at front counter are lazy and rude. Only good experience was with our pizza purchase. Will not be returning. Total rip off.

Hit some balls outside then went inside to play some games. It wasn't busy while we were there on a Saturday aroud 3 or 4.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
