Cool place to bowl. Had grandkids birthday party and all 9 kids loved it.(4 thru 9 year olds). Parents said prices were very good for indoor play place. Helpful staff too!

Nice arcade/bowling alley. Pretty clean and friendly staff. Some of the games don't work correctly or at all. Might just be this time because they were so busy and didn't have time to fix the broken ones. Will definitely come back again

It's a good place but most of the arcade games don't work and none of the bathrooms in the women's stall have hooks to hang a purse or coat up on. The balls seem a little grimy too for bowling. Otherwise good environment and good date night options.

This place was indeed perfect for meeting my co-workers and enjoying some apps and a friendly game of bowling. Even novice bowlers like us were entertained by the cartoon bowling pins after each game. Good apps, but kinda pricey. The nachos were excellent and our fried pickles just right-- after the management replaced our first overcooked ones.

Sounds like the owner is a diddler, have to drop from two to one star review. Great concept, Ames could definitely use everything it has to offer. But, the mini golf course is better off not played, the bowling alley isn't great, the lanes are inconsistent with wax, food is edible, and games could have more variety. Friendly team members who patiently wait while 10 ten-year-olds get geared up for laser tag. Everyone had a great time. The price is more than fair as well. Highly recommend for parties.

Children's play area was extremely dirty. All the games are to close together. There's no room to walk through with a small amount of people in there.

Had a blast! We get to go once a year with wounded warrior project and they are so awesome to us! We get to bowl, play laser tag, and play games until our hearts are content! The staff is always quick and super friendly. Totally worth the 45 minute drive. Always super clean as well.

Bowling lanes, mini golf, and laser tag all were functional. My only gripe would be the arcade games. I'd say roughly 50% of the games were down, and of the rest that were on multiple had issues. Guitar hero one of the guitars didn't work, half the weapons for the shooting games didn't reload or shoot properly. Really unfortunate. If you plan to go bowling, laser tag, or mini golf this is a great place to go! I'd avoid it if all you want to do is arcade games.

My kids love going here. It can get expensive real fast playing video games, but they do have specials, half price on Sunday and if you watch the paper they will have different coupons. The daily specials seem to target college kids because they are later at night. It is in a college town. They have many bowling lanes and have a wide range of people with different skill levels that come here to bowl. The employees have all been kind and pretty calm even when it is extremely busy.

Over half the games are broken and when you tell them they don't offer any refunds or actually come to fix the machines. The prizes have gotten really bad too. It has gone downhill in terms of games.

The kids had a lot of fun here. The pizza was good. The bowling lanes were clean and well-maintained. We spent a lot of time in the arcade. It was a little pricey, but comparable to other arcades. The kids really liked the indoor playground. It was understaffed for winter break, but the employees were great at quick service and getting what we asked for. Only complaint is that the lightest bowling ball was 7 pounds, too heavy for little kids.

Great price. I am from Washington state, and we really enjoyed adding this to our trip. Of course it's noisy because it is a very large facility. Our balls got stuck several times, but they fixed it quickly each time.

Made reservations for 2 lanes by the bar side. I was told that it was set and cost in a email. I requested that side do to having 10 + people and It just bigger and roomy Making it easier for all. So I get there and couldn't get that side due to leagues playing. But I didn't get a heads up on this and was put where there was little room and I had to do all the running to get food and drinks. My kids and I had another great experience at Perfect Games and I wanted to give a shout out to the staff. They were super responsive on the bowling lanes, and gave one of my kids a new pair of socks (no charge!) so she could bowl with the rest of us. I could really tell they cared! The pizza & drinks were tasty, and the kids had a great time in the arcade/game area. We've played the mini golf course as well and found it fun from age 4 to 40!

Went recently for a retirement party. The new Laser Tag arena is fantastic. The Laser pistols have been upgraded as well. A lot of fun!

Bowling was fun. Food was decent. The card for games seemed to go pretty far for the amount I loaded onto it. Only complaint is that several games didn't work but took the money off the card anyway.

We were assigned to a lane that seemed really nice. New user interface screens that allow you to select when to have the bumpers up and down. However we used the feature and had to go to the desk and ask an employee why it wasn't working were they informed us that "that feature just doesn't work on that lane. You can have them up or down". Always a lot of fun. A little on the expensive side, but not too bad. Food is pretty much what you would expect, and always pretty decent. It was pretty busy but we still got a lane right away. Sometimes a few too many games are out of order, but this time i seemed like everything was working. My 5 yr old loves playing in the little play cage thing. The one thing I wish the kids play area wasn't so close to the rear exit, makes me a little nervous when it's busy.

I'm a little disappointed, the game I want to play is always not working, its the terminator game. My kids love it though, it gets really loud and bright, so if you have sensory issues, I would avoid going here. It sends my wife into overload every time we can only go when it isn't busy. Otherwise, we can only stay for 15 or 20 minutes before she can't take it anymore.

It was entertaining. I was there for my girlfriends company Christmas party. The food they served was good and there definitely wasn't a shortage of games to play. We bowled a few games, then we explored the arcade. We both had a satisfactory experience there and will recommend it to anyone that's passing through Ames.

Had quite a bit of fun playing golf, it was fairly cold outside, but that isn't in their control. The course itself was seemed fairly short, and simple at a glance, but it proved fairly challenging when I actually played. I visited on a Sunday, so naturally bit was super busy, but the employees were handling it very well, and got us started very quickly.

This place is on its last leg. It's understaffed and many of the arcade games are not in working order. Additionally, the kids were not following rules of the jungle gym and no one was there to reinforce. The tables are too high for little kids so unless you plan to bowl, you won't be sitting an under 8 or 9 year old to eat. I also saw kids about 10 or so seated at the bar. This just isn't my cup of tea.

Really fun place for bowling, arcade games, mini golf and laser tag. If I could I would spend the day doing laser tag. 4 people in is the perfect setup. It is just the right size for Frag Tag. We watched as all the lanes next to us (who did not pay hourly) had their pins re-racked in seconds, meanwhile ours took 30 seconds to even 1 minute to re-rack between each person. Perfect would be an impossible expectation - but half of the games were not working and we spent 20 minutes of our two hours standing in line for refunds on games that were broken with no sign. This place is awfully managed by the owners, and they just don't care. It's also absurdly expensive considering the level of operation and the fact that they have little kids working. If there was any other good place to bowl Ames this place would close in a heartbeat.

I went here for two work gatherings and we all had a great time. All of the entertainment was excellent, but the laser tag was by far everyone's favorite. The food and drinks were also very good.
