Customer Reviews

We recently celebrated our daughter's 9th birthday at The Perfect Game, and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience! We chose the Birthday Extravaganza package, and it was worth every penny. As a busy working mom who's organized several parties in the past, I truly appreciated not having to lift a finger?everything was handled seamlessly. Our party host, Klara, went above and beyond to make the day special. She was attentive, efficient, and incredibly warm. My daughter couldn't stop smiling and says she

I had an absolutely amazing time with my friends at this place! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was lively and inviting. We went for bowling, and it was a fantastic experience. The lanes were well-maintained, and we truly enjoyed every moment of the game. The staff was friendly and made sure we got enough time to play, making it completely worth the money. What made the experience even better was the variety of gaming options available. Beyond bowling, there were plenty of other fun activities,

Highly Recommended. Had a great time! Special shout out to Stephanie the Event Coordinator and the Team ensuring our dietary needs were met for the kiddos. Highly Recommended place for all Families. We will be back again....

Absolutely amazing staff! Phenomenal facility! Our company had a Fabolous time at our afterhours business events! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for your hospitality. Laser Tag was a blast!

If you're enjoy bowling, avoid. The lanes are filled with reflections of their giant displays. So when you bowl, you may not even see your ball after it's thrown and instead see some reflections of fish from the aquarium video, or some flames from the one on fire. So either avoid, or accidentally throw your ball into the screen to prevent it from working, since there is no way to turn it off. Also, it is quite expensive!! You're paying for those gaudy displays each time you bowl.

The review that said they didn't feel welcome because they were black is right. I felt the hostility as soon as we walked in. We didn't receive a greeting or anything from the staff they just stared at us. It was very awkward, and I smiled and nodded, but was met with blank stares. As we were waiting in the lobby, a white couple came in and they were greeted by the staff. I brushed it off as whatever because we were there for our friend's birthday and didn't want to dwell on it. The arcade is cool, but the

My event on February 23, 2025 was absolutely awesome. My family had a great time! The food was fresh and delicious, the staff were awesome from planning through the day after the event. They were very attentive to guest and made us feel special during our event. I first attended a work outing here on January 19, 2025 and knew from that experience that my family would enjoy an event here. Thank you for the great service!!!

A very well maintained and updated alley. Very clear that management has done their best to make sure that the bowling areas were clean and well kept, and very modern, with lanes that could even be programed to raise and lower the bumpers depending on the current bowler. I personally really liked that you had the ability to modify your name in the system, and how smoothly the machinery worked. If I had one complaint, it was that the system default during the games was one that kept explaining bowling terms

Best bowling alley food I've had! BBQ Chicken pizza!! Awesome customer service. Jaiden and Jackie were super patient and helpful. ??Great family fun.

We had 5 bowlers and went on a Sunday afternoon to bowl. 4 bowlers needed shoes. The aesthetic of the bowling alley is very nice. The price was $45 a hour. We bowled for a hour and a half and was on our last frame with 3 bowlers left to bowl and we were not allowed to complete the frame. Many bowling alleys will allow you to complete your frame when you're that close to finishing the game. I found that to be distasteful especially because we paid for an extra 1/2 hour.

Had my son's 7th birthday party here, and I must say that it was phenomenal! The host was a sweetheart, and the kids and adults enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks again ??. ~Hayes Family

This place was amazing when it was Drakeshire Lanes. It is now a shell of its former self. The prices are completely and unjustifiably too high for bowling. They only allow you to pay by the hour and it's $55 which is an absolute joke. They are more than capable of expanding their service menu to be more inclusive and charge by the game but they're too greedy to make these much needed changes. It's sad because I used to enjoy coming here and now every time I do I have a bad experience. It's not the same as

Great place to play arcade games and bowling. Plenty of arcade games available at this location and the place looks well managed. You get additional points for scoring well in your games which you can use for future games. It would be great if they could add some pool tables there. There is also a restaurant which serves great pizza and pretzels along with a well stocked bar which offers some excellent beers.

Follow me! If you're reading give me a thumbs up. This place is awesome and very family friendly. It's a one stop shop of fun. Bowling, food, bar, arcade and laser tag. Big parking lot and a super nice staff. Our food and drinks was expensive but it was good. We had chicken wings, sliders, fries, chicken wrap and pizza. You can order food at the bar or at your bowling lane. Waitress are every where. You have to buy a game card in order to play the games and to play laser tag. Laser tag was a lot of fun. It?

One of my favorite hang out spots to take my little brother! The laser tag room is huge, arcade selection isn't that big but there's plenty of options to win a lot of tickets and the variety of prizes to redeem them on is nice and better than some of the competition. The food is decent, also better than the competition but not anything to write home about. Good for a quick bite! I have not went bowling here yet but it looks fun and there are plenty of lanes. Service is always good!

This place is a GEM!! We chose this location to host our 8-year-old birthday party. From beginning to end, it was extremely organized. The event coordinator it was very easy to get a hold of and constantly sent emails in preparation for the party. There were no gray areas. I honestly just had to show up with friends and family. I really enjoyed that all of the adults had just as much fun as the children, which is a rarity at kids' parties. It was very well priced and packed with so much to do. 10/10! Highly

You cannot purchase pitchers of beverages here. If you are hosting a party, please consider this cost. I just watched my sister and friend purchase 18 drinks at 3.25 a piece for a party of 10 year olds. This is exorbant and disgusting. Please do better.

The theme of this place is fun and service was great. Had a lot of fun.

This place is awesome. Came here with the family for my brother?s birthday and we had a great time! The atmosphere is chill and the customer service is great! The food is also amazing and it wasn't a long wait for it either. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends! I even got a chance to check out the new private bowl room they just made and it looks amazing!

1st time going! The kids loved Bowling and I like how they have Party Room for Birthdays. The Wings were delicious. Didn't like the Mini Tacos. Nice and Clean facility.

My first time there on 3/1 with my church for my pastors birthday and it was the worst experience and I will never return. One of the Mgrs was obnoxious and rude on the phone before hanging up in my face! One of their party planners, Stephanie lied to me over the phone, as if she was going to make sure our group was accommodated when we arrived and she was gone and never informed the owner of the horrible treatment we received so therefore when our group arrived the owner was even more rude and dismissive t

Went here over the 2024 holiday season with some family. Great arcade area, bowling lanes are well maintained, and the food was actually delicious! Better than most chain restaurants these days. The nice lounge with the fireplace for eating would make my wife and I go back just for that.

Immediately upon entering I walked up to the counter to look at the menu. There was a male employee there wiping down the counter, he looked at me and did not greet me once. Red flag number one. I came back up to the counter to ask where I could order food, I was next in line when a woman jumped in front of me. Instead of telling her that I was next he continued to assist her and when I stepped in to say that I was next in line he didn't apologize or anything. He ignored me twice and then He just said ?wel

Great Bowling Experience everytime we visit. The Pizza is AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend getting the private room if it's available, it's really nice

Perfect Game hosted a Holiday party for my place of business. It was the perfect venue! We have staff of all ages and everyone had a blast. Bowling, laser tag, arcade games... the staff was so great! This was our second year having it there and Im sure we'll do it next year too.

We went here for their Kids New Year's Eve party from 11 to 1. What a great deal! They were well organized, clean, and had raffle prizes. The kids loved it. The pizza was great, and they provided sparkling apple juice for a noon year's toast. Got 6 $10 cards to the arcade . I hadn't been here since it was Drakeshire Lanes. I am really impressed. It's gone through a major upgrade with interior renovations, a huge arcade, and a laser tag place. Will definitely be back.

I've been here a handful of times and liked the environment and staff! Went for a friend?s birthday and the staff let us have a last minute laser tag session even though they were there after closing time! We appreciated that immensely!

Took roughly 15 family members here for New Years Day fun. We ended up getting there around 3 pm and since our party was not all together, we had to kill some time and there is no better way to kill time than to whoop my cousins on the basketball game (video below). Once our whole crew was present, we got started on lanes 11 and 12. We were able to squeeze in 2 games on both lanes within the alotted 2 hour time frame. Staff were friendly and food was delicious (ordered pepperoni pizzas, fries, and pretzels

Literally loved the staff here!!! These people make this alley a hidden gem!! Special shout out to Kim, Tom, and Will for accommodating our requests. They were kind and drama free. ??April..is beautiful and on point. ????Be prepared to have fun you guys!! It's just another bowling alley until you meet the people running it...THEY will prove that this is the spot!!! P.s. Arcade is killer!!!

First time being here at this location. Having bowl in 20 years but I had fun and enjoy the place and the food the fries are I lovely!!!!

I just want to thank y'all for having an outstanding establishment. Your staff is very friendly and helpful. Me and my friends came there yesterday and we all enjoyed ourselves. Keep doing what y'all doing.

Guys up front were extremely helpful and seemingly happy. Bowling lanes are well maintained and had no issues. Server was attentive, but the food is not great even for ?bar food.? Overall the place was clean and offered great entertainment for a cold evening but but way overpriced.

Very nice facility but the bowling costs are higher than some of the other lanes around. Venue offers a lot more than bowling. It also has an arcade and laser tag. These features probably explain the higher costs. The facility is very clean and caters to families. If you're looking for more than bowling, this is a good choice.

I had a really great time here. Cold beer, color changing lanes, and a good atmosphere. I didn't want to leave. But I had to. The next time I come to visit Detroit, I will most definitely come back.

Clean, friendly environment. Little pricey but overall worth the money. Thanks!

This place is amazing! It was an absolute pleasure providing balloon decor for a corporate event

Disappointed was a longterm customer unfortunately the prices have increased to the point I have decided to visit other bowling alleys. Great family friendly location unfortunately seemed the busier their business grew so did the prices.

Ok so we've been here for bowling and have really enjoyed it. The main advantage here is that the bumpers are automatic and come out for the players you assign them to. This means we can play with our kid on the same lane and not use bumpers....pretty sweet. The place is super clean and modern. Anyway, after enjoying the bowling here a few times we decided to book our kids 8th bday here. This is what really set this place above. We had the privilege of having Jaden (Jayden?) run our party and it was

Looks really nice on the inside, food was good drinks were good and affordable. I would go back

Really cool place. Plenty of lanes and the arcade was huge for a bowling alley! Will definitely return

Nice bowling alley. Expensive. 64 dollars for 1 hour of bowling for 3 plus shoes. I asked for a waitress when paying for our lane. However, my daughter's and I were passed over for the larger group that came in after us. After 15 minutes I just went and got our food. It was frustrating when I asked for service upon entering. The food came out fast from a food runner. My burger and fries were tasty. The pizza salty. I think the front desk worker realized how irritated I was. She tried to be pleasan

Nice place for friends and families to come together and hangout. The staff is nice and polite. Our waitress was great! She was attentive and polite as well. The pizza is alright. The fries and wings are a better choice. They carry cherry Pepsi!!! Upon walking in, to the left is the check in stand. Make your reservation there. We went on Saturday at 6 pm. We waited 30 minutes before we got our two lanes. Anytime after 6 pm, the wait gets longer. (heads-up if you have children). To the right is the arcade wi

First time coming to the establishment. The recycling company I do business with had an event. Personable staff, clean environment, frugal spirits, and facilities to keep the children occupied : necessities for adults venturing out nowadays. ?? Thanks for the experience.

Went there for dinner on Saturday 10/26 and waited for ten minutes, no one waited on us. Talked to person behind the bar and informed her we wanted to eat, she said ok and went on to fix the ice machines behind the bar. Waited a few minutes and left the bar area to proceed the main desk where they issue everything. I explained what happened to an attendant and they just laughed at me. At that, I informed them I would never be back after all the years I have been going there. I will spend my money el

I recently hosted my son's 17th birthday party here, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. We weren't able to book the event space since we waitied too late (they require a two-week notice). However, we still were able to book seven lanes in the event space. The experience was incredible from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Everyone had a great time. The lanes were well-maintained, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere w

Super fun place! Good food, games, and they have a personal room that you can reserve for events. Where you have about six to eight Lanes in this ginormous LED screen!

Jackie is amazing! She catered to all of our group?s needs. Putting Edge Novi loves you!

Nice place for bowling! The waiting is huge around 60-90 minutes on weekends. Too many lanes 20 I guess. Super crowded but fun place for winters. Need to pay extra for shoe rentals. We ordered some food and it was great too. Only drawback - Once you book, they give you the token and you can't step out till your time has come which is like complete 90 minutes of wastage, unless you plan to eat there. They should make the reservation online which will save lot of time for people.

55/hr is absolutely insane, country lanes down the road 15/hour and the lanes and people are good.

The food was good Games was fun and the bowling alley is so dope

Bowling with my 2 daughters! We enjoyed our outing! Lanes and scoring system is A+!

Spend a $100 in the arcade for my 3 kids to play and the staff was disrespectful and rude. I was told I couldn't stand in the ?redemption? area because of a private party and it's the alley?s ?policy?, but when asked further?no such policy exists and there wasn't a private party in the arcade either. I grew up coming to Drakeshire and will never come back to the Perfect Game.

$55 for a hour of bowling? I have never seen prices this high. It should never cost over $100 for bowling just for 2 hours. Need to fix your pricing.

The venue and staff were excellent! We had a party of about 50 people. Everyone had a great time between the food, bowling, laser tag, and the arcade!

We came here as a family last Friday to celebrate our Mom's birthday. It was an absolute fantastic outing. The food was phenomenal, ( mini tacos, pizza, cheese sticks) were all good. The customer service was excellent.

Nice place too bowl ,kids enjoyed themselves, food was ???? would definitely recommend ??

Loved the bowling alley, nicely maintained. Ambience and crowd both good. Rates - Decent, would suggest look out for deals and the day. Like Tuesdays are good day to hit. Rental shoes - New and pleased with comfort. No strings helps. Balls - We went around 10pm but still its tough finding right sized Bowling software- Wish I could give 1 star. It worked horrible. In our 2hr bowling it messed up atleast 7-8 times. From incorrect re-setting of pins to not bringing up pins it was bit hassle. But overall serv

Great place to have fun with family and friends staff was friendly ,be sure to make a reservation & pack your patience, it gets extremely busy sometimes. Arcade games are available, too

First of all the first thing I noticed about this place was how clean this place is. Every other bowling alley I've been inside I've felt kind of grimy the whole time but this place is VERY clean and aethstetically pleasing. Secondly, and probably the most important, was how amazed I was about the customer experience. Definitely the most friendly, courteous and kind employees I've EVER experienced at a bowling alley and possibly at any other place. I'm definitely coming back and I highly recommend this plac

It's a beautiful bowling alley. Lots of space, great selection of beverages and food! Staff is friendly and the arcade provides extra fun for kids! I highly recommend this is place for family fun!

Love this place never been here before so this was my first time coming very good staff customer service skills they bowling alley was clean the food was good good atmosphere love how they have a lot to do at this bowling alley to accommodate kids love how this bowling alley let you have special events here good for family night out by bowling love how they have a laser tag inside of the arcade never seen a laser tag inside of a bowling alley before. Love the colors of they bowling pins as well it looks so

This is one of the cleanest , well kept bowling alleys I think I've ever been to. Right down to the bathrooms.. the price is a little high but the fun you have here and just being in a clean environment says a lot about the owner of this place. ???? It's def worth the price

Very disappointed with the lack of follow up regarding an event request. Called, left a voice mail, sent an email, called again and per manager I would get a response by the end of week if I emailed again?and nothing. Got the auto response email back confirming it was received and would be responded to. Apparently they're not concerned with the potential revenue from large group events. Paid more to book with another venue but very satisfied with decision. Sad because we really enjoy going here. Won't be ba

Very nice place. The private party section is convenient. We had a good time

This is not my local bowling alley but I have been here twice for work-related outings. Food is good, service is friendly. Lanes in good working order. Pleasant atmosphere.

Had a nice time work party was nice place had 2 games Bowlin pizza and beer

This was a great place to have my staff event

My family and I had a family event today and it was perfect. We booked out the suite in the back. The hospitality was amazing and professionalism top tier. Michael and his father are amazing, we had a customer service. Our server Anna was great as well. Definitely book the suite for any event you have, Food was good als, pizza, salad and wing package.

Terrible service insane prices You notice how the owner only responds to the good reviews instead of having some sort of concern about all the complaints I can take my money elsewhere I don't have the time or patience for this corpo greed BS which is never going to change because people are going to continue to go there until they have a bad experience

Not even one star but I had to pick a star to post comment! I visited this place 5/15/2024 around 7:30pm One week before visiting, I called and asked to bring decorations and a cake (w/o) a birthday party because we celebrated my sons 9th birthday over the past weekend. This day was his birthday. The person who answered told me that I could bring them but for a small fee. As i arrived they never greeted me or even said hi! BUT stopped me at the counter with my balloons and said that I could not bring them

Upscale bowling. They have laser tag, an arcade, and large bar & grill. There's a huge private area for parties with appropriately 6 lanes and booth seating. Sorry no outside food nor cakes, must order from establishment.

Very disappointed with the service. Tried to to do a birthday party event. Couldn't purchase a pitcher of drinks. Didn't have plates. Was told had to pay $25 to bring in cupcakes. No one working front desk stood and waited a while to even be serviced.

Celebrated my 39th birthday there, friendly and accommodating staff

My family LOVES this place. Always a good time and the food is fantastic.

Wish there was some nice music. Everything else is great. Friendly staff. Service is fast. Get a lane, grab a pitcher and have a good time.

Went here yesterday for a friend's birthday. The place was clean. Great atmosphere. Amanda was on fire serving up hot food and quick drinks all while being charming and affable. One of our servers was Anna. She was polite and quick with a brilliant smile. Thank you to both of these individuals for making yesterday awesome.

Cool place to hangout! Hygienic place! Amazing pizza and beer! Ideal place to hangout during the winter's!

Cool place, fun and lively yet not busy for a weekend. Pins are lit up and music plays while you bowl. Nice arcade for the kids and possibly for parties. Noticed a private section for rental with big screens above the lanes. I thought the price was high for just a place to practice as it was only available by the hour at $45/hr. But given the amenities I am guessing it is justified to just go with friends for a fun time

Threw a surprise party for our friend here and it was not the place to do it. They don't allow any presents or balloons or anything inside and multiple employees will tell you you can't. We waited 2 hours for 2 lanes (not their fault it was super busy) but they gave us a hard time because we had 13 people but there was only 12 seats. Our waitress and the guy at the front desk were super nice but some of the other employees were not. Definitely don't come here with a group of people. The laser tag was fun, b

Very modern bowling, arcade and Lazer tag. I had a great time. Very clean. Food was basic but tasty. Family oriented.

We had a company outing of about 10 people at Perfect Game this weekend. It was a Halloween themed costume/bowling event. April the event coordinator was great from start to finish as well as our bartender Phil. All of the staff we encountered that night were great, friendly and helpful. Any questions or anything we needed, they resolved it quickly. We rented the private event area which has 7 bowling lanes and our staff loved it. Our staff enjoyed the privacy and the fact we had our own bar. They allowed m

Have a great bowling time, and also spend time at the Laser Tag area! You can go by yourself, family reunion or friends! Enjoy!

Very clean place. Lots of fun for everyone, solid food and very polite employees

Color me impressed. I was there for a work outing. The first thing I noticed was how clean this facility was. Then our servers were very attentive. I ordered a hamburger. Who would've a bowling alley burger would be so dang good. The arcade there is enough to rival Dave and Buster's. There is also laser tag. We did not get an opportunity to do that, but I'm sure we'll be back!

Everything was good. The attention It was super wonderful

Lanes are well taken care of, and decent selection of ball weights and finger sizing. There was no wait time when I went, so we got set up quickly. Bar was a little slow with only one bartender, but drinks are fairly reasonably priced (modelo/draft pitchers at $14, and Moscow mule at ~$8). The lane rent per hour is like $37 and $4 per shoes, which is kind of pricey since they don't seem to sell per game prices or have specials, but fairly reasonable compared to other local prices. Overall was a fun time. St

When it comes to a bowling alley, arcade+ there isn't anything too different. It meets your needs if you just want a place to go play and hang and they have decent pizza. The bar staff and servers were nice. The lanes are a bit slick so I had to adjust my curve game. Unfortunately the customer service from the front desk staff was very unwelcoming. My wife called ahead of time to ask about the policy for reserving and the cut her off and were rude on the phone, we came in to ask, and my question was met wi

Perfect place for a night out with friends. Good service, clean, and nice atmosphere. Really appreciated the guy that came around, took my order while I was bowling and brought the snacks and drinks to the table. That was awesome!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
