Customer Reviews

No sign on outside indicating it's an arcade. No sign for hours or days closed. Came on memorial day. Closed when we thought it would be open. Had to pay full parking without the validation (we waited 45 minutes with our kids to see if it would open parking is $2 for two hours with validation and $2 every twenty minutes without validation). Giving extra stars though bc we walked around and peeked in and it looked really fun. Many games and carousel inside. Photo is of the outside of the building so people k

A fantastic seaside arcade for a quick moment of fun! Worth stopping in and checking out the carousel!

What a fun place!! Great for older kids and parents alike. Cool arcade games selection with different skill level and ticket payout. Clean arcade. The price for getting tokens to play the Arcade is fair. Trade winning ticket for prizes. No paper tickets.? I recommend getting the VIP card if planning to visit more than once a year. VIP card points do not expire. Sitting outside available for parents who want to enjoy a coffee. You get good sight lines of the kids from any spot, so you can feel safe.

This place is equipped with enough fun games for any size family, great for date nights, really nice location for social media pictures/videos, this location even has a merry go round inside ??

Pretty cool arcade. A bit expensive though ??

A very historical place in Long Beach great time to take in the sights ride the merry-go-round check out the museum for tattooingamong other things that the boardwalk used to have back in the day

My family and I LOVE this arcade. The games are fun and they seem to get new ones and maintain the old ones very well. Great prizes and they are not impossible to win/score points.

The staff is very nice. help you out. In the games are fun the prizes are way too expensive but otherwise is a great place to have fun

Don't ever talk to the manager Kevin Victorio. He is very rude and unaccommodating. He discriminates against anyone who isn't white. If you're not white then forget about him taking you seriously. He argues back and scoffs while speaking to you. Very unprofessional. I wouldn't be making this review if he had just apologized or tried harder to make things right but alas that was not the case. Wouldn't recommend this place at all just based on the terrible customer service coming directly from the manager. Ve

everything is so expensive and all the games are rigged. do not go here unless u wanna spend $100 for 2 games.

I stopped over here on a whim and had some fun. It's a fun atmosphere, like the midway or a carnival. The staff was friendly and responsive. Only one issue with a game (usually the downfall of places like this), and it was resolved quickly and without a problem.

I came here on a Saturday night and the crowd was kind of sketch. They had some cool shops though

Very nice place, full of different games and lots of fun. Will definitely come back soon

It is always a great experience coming to the pelican Pier pavilion. Multiple stores and restaurants to choose from it's very hard. The views are amazing and so many people around you. Definitely a great place to bring your family and friends for a peaceful evening full of fun.

The games are pretty expensive so be prepared to spend more than $20. On the brightside the number of tickets required for prizes is pretty low. They have a good selection of games and all the kids seemed to be having lots of fun.

The Pelican Pier Pavilion brings back some great memories. They have some old time favorites & newer games, not to mention the carousel . When you walk in & hear the noise of an arcade you want to automatically cash in those dollar bills for quarters. They offer prizes for your efforts as well. Bring your family here and play until your hearts content. Have fun!

This place was nice it has its little walkway am not side the ocean. You can see boats docked also.their are restaurants and small shops..they even have a merry go round a small arcade. ..but it's a pretty cool plac e just to hang out in for a couple of hours..

Took my son here. Paid the equivalent of $1.25 in tokens for him to play one game of crossy road, (a free phone-app game) on a big screen. He hopped three times, and then lost the game because he's five. Most of the other games are like this - really geared more toward wealthy teenagers than young children.

I love to play at this arcade everytime we go to Shoreline Village, My favorite games are higher hockey and blowing. This last time I didn't know that I had over 540 points.

This is at Shoreline Village in Long Beach. I am a frequent flyer here, as some of you will know if you read my posts, which I have a bunch of from Shoreline Village because there's so many places here! This is your typical arcade with a very small Carousel in the middle of it. So you guys all know, if you have children and you've been to an arcade, you pay a lot of money, get very little tickets and you get not very good prizes. But the kids love it which is what it is there for, I wish they would be a lit

This is a great place to spend a few hours. Great places to eat and have some drinks with friends. Perfect for walking around and seeing the Marina, people watching.

We had a wonderful b-day for our granddaughter Kaylee at Tequila Jacks, and she had a great time at the Arcade!

I only quickly stopped by while shopping at shoreline with friends and family, but seemed like a fun place, especially for kids. Everyone in there seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Love going back to Long Beach where I grew up and have memories with my family now. Only thing I can say is the games need to be updated to better and cooler for kids to play.

I love this place you can eat all kinds of different foods here and have a lot of fun and meet new people from different areas in countries

Been Saturday Sunday and they were not open at 10am are there new hrs?

I was a regular here when I lived in Long Beach. We came for a last hoorah before leaving California, we had so much fun in the arcade and looking at all the shops.

Very nice place. Was very relaxing and the kids had fun. People were very friendly. Food was good.

The food was very tasty and the prices were reasonable .there was no wait for service. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast.great place for families or friends to eat.

I work in a casino. So that's why I probably did not find the place so amazing. Still worth a visit. Especially if you have with you when visiting g the Shoreline village.

Pretty much all of the game were modern and fun, but a bit pricey. I think the cheapest game in there was 75 cents. The milk jug game was the bane of my existence.

We had so much fun the last we visited! Highly recommend!

Great place to visit. Kids loved the atmosphere. Views are always peaceful.

Been going here with my daughter 22 years my sister for 30 it's always a place that brings back memories of the old shoreline village!!!

It's a nice place to take a stroll and spend some time at the restaurants or even visit the arcade w the family :)

Not much going on, I thought there would be more here. We did get to see zoltar from big, which was pretty cool.

This pier is perfect for the entire, the only downside is the Parking , it needs better organization .

Friendly staff but games are dated and very expensive. 4-6 tokens per game. 40 tokens for $10.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
