Customer Reviews

Great beer great times! They have a great mix of spaces where they have a traditional tasting room, outside beer garden, pinball room, and best of all huge arcade room! They have pay and play with old school and new cabinets. this is a welcoming place that has a space for everyone.

They have a great variation on tap and everything tastes great. My partner is a big fan of their seltzers as well. The arcade in the back is a favorite spot to spend a chill afternoon and their events calendar is always packed with some of my favorite events in the city. Been a longtime supporter and lover of this place and really appreciate the way they engage with the community.

My favorite brewery / place to hang out in the city! Great beer, great vibes, wonderful staff! I love how much of a community space it is ? Peabody really supports and elevates other Baltimore small businesses and makers. There are fun events, live music, and of course, the arcade games! You can bring your own food or games/activities, and my dog loves that she gets to come (and gets a treat at the bar)! I also love the outside space in the warmer months. There is always something for everyone. It is a per

You can really find your community here. Peabody offers such a wide range of events like: book festivals, trivia, plant or clothing swaps, record bazaars, live music. We once watched a Shakespeare play on the back patio. We've met and made so many friends here that we run into someone we know every time we visit. Kid friendly. Can order in or bring in your own food. Arcades, a free room and a payment required room. Their West Coast IPAs are my personal favorite. The location is fantastic, right in Charles V

One of the best breweries in Baltimore. They host a number of events for the community through the week ? plus they have ample pinball and arcade machines! I appreciate the staff and the general vibe of this place. If you like good beer, you'll like Peabody.

Love the history and the location. Probably the most "Baltimore" feeling brewery in the city. Looking forward to our return!

Such a vibe. Came when they had MagLabs visiting and it was soo fun. Beer, Live Music, Crafts, and food trucks all in the same place. Parking was surprisingly easy as well.

There's nowhere else like this spot in Baltimore (or the world). Upbeat, progressive, proudly inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere, fantastic staff, awesome service, excellent drinks, a cool 80s style arcade, parking and of course, her Majesty Queen Jeppie, the most regal bar cat in town. The events schedule is stacked with fun stuff like family music night, gaming markets, and a killer lesbian dance party. A rotating roster of food trucks keeps you well fed. Pop in for a beer, you'll have a great time!

Fun and eclectic. A place to relax and be with friends or to meet new friends. I just discovered the game room in the back and told everyone at work about it. Two thumbs up. Oh....and the beers are tasty too!

5 stars for the incredible events alone, and they also have incredible beer, so really this should be a 10 star review. If you're looking for fun ways to find your people in the city, I highly recommend just checking out their upcoming events. My favorites include Butch Garden which fills a much needed gap in our city! ??

We are so lucky to have Peabody Heights in the neighborhood. What a wonderful community space they've made with their building. And the beer is good, too!

Went here while visiting my parents in Baltimore (I'm from NY, Hudson Valley). Great family friendly brewery with an arcade inside . Very friendly staff. Very interesting choice of beers (they had a green one which was great!). Will definitely try to visit again when in Baltimore.

Peabody is a great neighborhood brewery with chill vibes and lots of indoor / outdoor seating + it's dog friendly. You are allowed to bring in your own food (there's a ghost kitchen across the street and rotating food trucks outside!). They always host a lot of fun events like weekly trivia, plant swaps, shows, etc.

I really like this space, been a few times. The drinks are great! Something I noticed today is that it had a bad smell in multiple spaces. Sitting outside today I kept getting wiffs of garbage. This was new. What I have experienced before is inside in the hall by the bathrooms it smells mildewy and the arcade room is muggy, needs some fans or something. I hope you all are addressing these issues because I love the space! But this did turn me off.

One of the best breweries in Baltimore. Great family friendly space with room for events, arcade games (+ pinball). These folks are also just great people who care about their neighbors and community. Solid selection of beers, of which 1/3 are IPAs of various kinds. But don't sleep on their other offerings! Also, they have an extensive list of nonalcoholic beers and beverages.

This place is so welcoming. Love their beer. They constantly have events to check out. Also their arcade is amazing. Gives such nostalgic vibes

Definitely a great place for some nice ?? The arcade in the back is a jewel. The DJ knew his job too?

During our visit to Maryland, our initial intent was to savor a slice of Baltimore's rich history and perhaps indulge in a couple of fine beverages. We were greeted with the utmost warmth, engaging in delightful conversations while immersing ourselves in the fascinating lore of the Baltimore Orioles and Terrapins. This establishment exudes an aura of historical elegance and allure. Our exploration led us to sample an array of beverages, including their outstanding IPAs, kombucha, ciders, and sours, all met

affordable and great tasting beer made locally in the brewery! a great variety of selections including non-alcoholic options (kombucha). perfect neighborhood spot to watch a Orioles game. bringing your own food is allowed and encouraged!

Absolutely love this place....great beer, friendly and prompt service, many arcade and pinball games, live music, good food truck and 6 restaurants across the street too....will be back many times!!!!!!

Peabody Heights Brewery is hands down one of the best experiences we've had, not just in Baltimore, but anywhere. We rolled in from New York with three cars deep, excited to check out the brewery we kept hearing about. The beer? Outstanding. Bold, balanced, and brewed with obvious care. The space? It has this relaxed, organic vibe that makes you feel like you're part of something special the moment. Pinball room touch! But what really makes this place unforgettable is the people. Specifically, Eddie. Our

One of the best breweries in baltimore. The space is fun (there's a games room) and the beers are always both cold and delicious. My favorite lately is the mango astradon - but they also make their own seltzers. Plus, often they host community events making this a great space for the community. There's some parking in a lot but there's also plenty on the street

I've been going here since I moved to Baltimore and still holds a special place in my heart. Love the beer, staff is friendly and welcoming, and I enjoy the food trucks. Also love the arcade games for when my brothers visit me!

Yeah, no. The bartenders are so dismissive and rude. Part of a good experience is part of the staff and this isn't it. One of the things that bothered me most was that I was here for a birthday party - I was trying to buy drinks for friends who also had an open tab. They ordered their drinks and I was trying to pay for them but I was told it was too late to do so? Weird but okay. Also it smelled pretty bad in there. The water in the bathroom was too hot. Also, for a place that's implied to be progressive an

First time here but both beers we got were very good and I loved the open space. Weather was great so we sat outside and it was great. Everyone was having a nice time. Patio area is both kid and dog friendly. Guys behind the bar were good people. Took home a six pack of Professor Trash Wheel because a portion of sales goes back to keeping Baltimore's harbor clean! Will be going back!

Great beer, the staff are all wonderful, and the arcade is super fun! There is a bar inside of the arcade too so that you can easily refill on your beer while playing! The arcade games were fun, and almost all of them were working flawlessly during our visit. They even had a game that our group of 10 could all play together! Our group had a great time here and we plan to come back again. They also had many fliers up for local events they were hosting at the time, such as craft fairs and theme nights.

This is a nice place, decent beer selection and has video games. I usually come here to hang out and eat when Fuzzies burgers pop up truck is there. I wish they served my beer in actual glass glasses and not plastic cups. All the staff is super nice.

If you love the Orioles, Peabody Heights should be a top destination for you. The walls inside the brewery pay tribute to the Os. But even if you're not a Baltimore baseball team fan, you still should come visit. Great atmosphere in general with ample space outside. The beer is fantastic and the staff is super friendly. Probably one of my favorite brewery experiences so far in Bmore.

One of my favorite spots in Baltimore! Some of the best beer in the city, and such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Can't count how many gatherings I've been to there, so many great memories! A very cool arcade room to boot. There regularly with my roving gang of Taco Bell loving friends, and they are more than happy to have us bring a sack of Taco Bell and drink beer for hours. Go to Peabody, they're good people!

My favorite local brewery. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Nice large indoor and outdoor spaces. TONS of community-focused events and live music. Very welcoming atmosphere. We host a large weekly group run that starts and ends at the brewery, and, without asking, they started setting aside/reserving a large table for us every week so we could sit together. An awesome arcade game selection as well.

Literally the best brewery in Baltimore. Sorry everyone else. Has a well kept and diverse arcade space with rhythm games, pinball, and old school cabs. The best beer selection around. Some of the best sours I've ever had. Staff are awesome and the events they host are just as diverse as Baltimore. Long Live Peabody Heights Brewery!!! ??

Absolutely loved this place. I came here for a three day trip and I ended up ending every night here lol. The h8erade and the Long Walk were my favorites. The staff were super cool and friendly and the place is very chill.

Always a GREAT time. Very welcoming of everyone, lovely beer [I prefer dark and they always have at least one offering for me], as well as NA options like seltzer and kombucha. Anyone I bring here loves it. Lots to do, lots of space, and they often host great events for the city! The arcade IS THE BEST, and I highly suggest spending a few hours there every chance you get. They are happy to have you bring in outside food or even get it delivered there! Lots of wonderfully delicious options nearby.

This place is a neighborhood institution. It is my go to brewery for good beer. It is also an incredibly delightful place to spend time, there is always something weird and wonderful going on, from live music to craft fairs to train sets! They have not one but TWO fantastic arcades. The owners are some of the kindest most lovely people I've ever known.

Highly recommend their Beer Advent Calendar - my partner and I got one in 2023 and really enjoyed it! Peabody is always a wonderful place to visit. Lovely staff, great beer with options to fit every taste (non-alcoholic options too), and a relaxing/casual space with lots of room! I love all the outdoor seating. They have visiting food trucks and tons of events; check their Instagram weekly for details. You can also buy packs of beer to go.

Amazing place with fantastic beer. Their events are second to none, like BrewBit! The staff at Peabody are absolutely amazing. Eddie and his crew have created their own culture here, and it shows that they ALL care about their customers! Don't forget to get a burger from Fuzzies too, they absolutely crush their food!

Great beers, and impeccable vibes. We have been coming here regularly for years now and it's our favorite spot. First brewery we brought our newborn too :) They are extremely welcoming of anyone and everyone, dogs, kids. They uphold their values, and have great service. Five stars all around. We'll be here again soon!

Awesome space! We rented out a room for a friend's 30th birthday a couple years back and the staff were super friendly and accommodating even when our event coincided with another holiday event. Their beer is on point and fantastic. Big respect for them to always experiment and try new recipes! A lively and welcoming brewery for all in the neighborhood!

Baltimore has a great beer scene, but Peabody Heights is by far my favorite. I love the addition of the arcade, and the event space is amazing for a wide variety of occasions (we've attended a wedding and hosted a birthday party here, both were great). Plus the beer is top notch, as is their commitment to the local community!

I've heard some many great things about Peabody. 1st time this evening. There's such a great vibe, very chill! Bartenders are super sweet and their stout is fantastic.

Peabody Heights is so much more than a brewery! It's the warm and welcoming heart of my community. They make such amazing use of their space, hosting a wide variety of events with a special focus on uplifting marginalized makers organizers. Whether you want to play a game of chess, shop for vintage clothes and vinyl, or share your hobbies with the world, there's something for everyone every single week. For those who like games, you can pop into the Dugout Arcade in the back to play dozens of games in an i

Great selection of beer, highly recommend their IPAs. Game room is a great feature. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Parking available on site.

Great selection of delicious beers! Really nice arcade setup in the back. There are so many different fun events going on here, especially karaoke league on Tuesdays. This is a safe and welcoming space for everyone, including people who are LGBTQIA+.

Incredible staff, and great selection. I'm not a beer drinker, but their Haterade is pretty dope--every time, I get a kick out of the fact that it's grape-flavored but bright green. The venue is awesome, and the people are even cooler! We haven't participated in the karaoke league in a few seasons but still roll up from time to time to support everyone, and it's always a good time.

Nice place to enjoy a drink or two with friends on sunny day. If you like Stouts then I recommend their Cheasapeake Oyster Stout.

Peabody Heights is an absolute gem! The venue is fantastic, with a welcoming vibe that makes it a great spot to hang out with friends. Their beer lineup is always top-notch, and I really appreciate how they experiment with new flavors. The arcade is a huge bonus. Their events are always great, especially the annual RPG mini-convention (GameFaceCon), which has become a personal favorite. Can't recommend this place enough!

My Baltimore Brewery! Peabody Heights Brewery has been like home to me since 2016. The crew is incredible and the hard work and innovative minds that are behind the brews truly show. They have the BEST beer in Baltimore. They have so much variety and now have seltzers on the menu as well, so there is something for everyone. It's BYOF, so bring all the snacks, your meal prep or have something delivered to enjoy with your beer! I also need to mention the incredible event space Eddie has created for everything

An amazing brewery--every beer is fantastic, and they always have limited edition and taproom only brews to try. They are super kid friendly and have lots of space indoors and outdoors if you are just checking out the place or want to bring a large group of people, and you're always welcome to bring your on food. Peabody Heights is also a great community space with live music, events, the Bmore Flea and Record Bazaar, book events and more. Truly an asset to the city and neighborhood.

The burger was juicy, I couldn't put it down. Definitely coming back for more when I have the kids next time, they will love it too!

Had a great time at the brewery. Lots of great beers at the bar and live music at the patio. Looking forward to coming back!

I love that the brewery sits within the confines of Old Oriole Park and you can stand in left field and have a beer. Plenty of old pictures to give you a feel of the old ballpark. The brewery sells cans with ?Peabody Heights at Orioles Park? with old baseball photos. There is a free book warehouse, The Book Thing, approximately a hundred feet from the brewery, plus the the brewery has plenty of free books inside. I wasn't in love with the beer they served but that was years ago and they probably have a

Got married at PHB in 2017 and it's only gotten more special to our family ever since - from baby showers, birthday celebrations, dance parties, markets, and casual Friday nights Peabody is our absolute favorite spot in Baltimore! The owner is a true community ally and wonderful neighbor, and I look forward to continuing to frequent Peabody Heights weekly (or more!) for a long, long time to come. The beer is refreshing, creative, and delicious - though here's my 2 cents yet again to bring back that amazing

Excellent brewery. The beer is fantastic (lots of non IPA options for people like me who don't like IPAs) and it is a fun place with all the arcade games. The staff is also wonderful to work with...I held an event in their private room space and they were very easy to work with and responsive.

Peabody Heights' beers are exceptional. They have a diverse menu to cater to all tastes, and are never afraid of trying new recipes to push the boundaries of beer. The addition of The Dugout, their new arcade, continues to make Peabody Heights a can't-miss destination. More than just a brewery, though, Peabody Heights plays host to many incredible events every month, and several local groups call Peabody Heights home as a meeting space. This family-friendly, community-oriented small business is a Baltimore

This place is phenomenal. Also is pro ably the most kid friendly brewery in the city or even MD. Bunch of kids while parents are enjoying some of the great beers they have. They have multiple games like fusal, pool, books, etc. Great beers and staff is always welcoming

Peabody is the best! The beer is great and it's a nice space to casually gather with friends. I've been here a number of times and I love that you can bring your own food in, or get something from a food truck out back. They have a really nice outdoor space and host a number of different fun and inclusive events. There are a lot of great breweries in Baltimore but Peabody stands out!

Wow! This place is pretty nice, good beer. Can unfortunately get a little loud when there's a lot of people inside because of the concrete walls, but its always worth it. Love the way the brewery gives back to the community and hosts events for all peoples!

A safe, welcoming place with incredible staff and an accommodating menu! Yes, the menu! I'm not much of a beer person, and I have some sober friends, and the options for us never disappoint. Events are wonderfully managed, and incredibly varied- games, plants, and records! Come here for a pint, stay for the arcade!

The best brewery in Baltimore, full stop. We live nearby and this brewery and the great staff are a community institution. First off, the beer. Unlike some places which are all about how many hops they can cram into every release, Peabody has hoppy IPAs *and* other choices from stout to witbier to barleywine to pilsner. For sober friends -- who are more than welcome - they have water, kombucha, and sodas. Second, they host events: ballet, craft night, a hot sauce festival, vintage markets and Halloween mark

One of my favorite brewery in Maryland. Kid friendly, super fun, and a helpful, welcoming staff. And the arcade is amazing.

An awesome place for parents with kids on Friday nights! There are kids everywhere, live music, parents enjoying beer. They have interesting beer drinks that they change up regularly. Definitely recommend!

This place rocks, I've been to weddings, election night parties, birthday extravaganzas, movie screenings, happy hours, and plain ol? nights out with friends at Peabody Heights and it remains my favorite brewery in Baltimore, which puts it in running for best world wide. And the beer is delicious! A mainstay of Baltimore beer culture and the greater charm city community.

The beer is great and creative and there are always new ones to try alongside their flagships. The space is good for large group hangs, and their schedule of programming is immense and diverse. The arcade is massive and full of games you've never played Quick note for the review sleuths: most 1 star reviews for a few weeks after 11/1/24 are politically motivated - look up Peabody and Fuzzies in the Baltimore banner for the tea if you're curious. If you're not really, and you just want to enjoy good beer an

Great local brewery and great place to celebrate with friends. I've been to many birthdays for friends and engagement parties here! Recently they added arcade games! Trivia night is also fun! Just great addition to the area.

Been coming here for several months now for trivia, always a lively space with open tables for hanging, getting drinks or playing games. Two arcade spaces are an extra bonus and the beers on tap are pretty solid too, experimental stuff too if that's your jam. Also host a ton of super unique events and markets.

Peabody is one of my favorite places in Baltimore. It was one of the first places that my husband and I discovered when we moved to Baltimore. It is family- and dog-friendly. There's always fun events for every community for each day of the week. The space is an amazing local gathering spot for the community and it has so much history.

The beers are always top notch. The folks who work here are the best. A welcoming and inclusive place with a bunch of events all the time. The dugout is the best place to play arcade games in the city for sure. A must visit for all beer drinkers!

Peabody Heights has been an incredible brewery and community space for years. The beer is always outstanding and the addition of the arcade has been a ton of fun. This brewery has long been a community hub and essential part of the neighborhood (and the owners are great too)!

Peabody is one of the best breweries in the area, but not just for the extensive variety and creativity of their beers, but also for their work with the community! They have invited so many community groups and organizations to use their space for events, fundraisers, markets, etc... it is incredible how much is hosted here! I end up at Peabody almost weekly because of it- thank you for sharing your space and building community!

Great brewery, good beer, homemade seltzer & more. Great people, great atmosphere, super welcoming to all ages - even families, coolest arcade (small fee gets you endless play on all games), great events. They've been a conscientious, generous and involved neighbor to the Abell Community & all of Charles Village. Love Peabody!!!

I am a classic beer lover, so the beers were not my taste with mostly fruity, citrusy , or hoppy flavors. However, I could feel the quality and level of their beer were high enough. It was just matter of my taste. All of my friends liked here.

This place is amazing. The owner is a top notch human being and the staff as well. They have a full arcade and great beer along with seltzers and other non beer options. Also they put on great events and fully support the community!

This brewery makes some of the best beer in the state - the IPAs and Stouts are next level. But what really makes them special is the are focused on making Baltimore a better place and constantly support the community of the city. In addition, Eddie and all the folks that work here are super kind and awesome.

Community hub, outstanding local business and all-around good neighbor. I used to live a block away and Peabody has always been responsive, considerate, and supportive to the surrounding community. They've hosted weddings, countless musicians, shown football games, events for non-profits, fundraisers, and more. Family-friendly, they've got a huge arcade, and have always been an inviting and welcoming space.

This was my first time at Peabody Heights. The atmosphere was awesome. I think it has been the most family friendly brewery I've ever been too. They have lots of games and plenty of space. I love the fact that there are bookshelves full of free books that you can take. Sam, took care of our party and he was awesome (honestly everyone was). I tried 3 different beers there all IPAs and they were delicious. Peabody Heights has a wide selection of choices so I have no doubt you'll find something to pique y

I love the brewery. Their staff is always welcoming and they are good members of the local community. They also have some flavored beers that, for someone like me who is not a beer drinker, are great options, as well as seltzer and non-alcoholic offerings.

I love this place! My fianc? and I go all the time. As a queer couple it's a safe place for us to hold hands and be ourselves and I cherish that. If you're in town, come visit! It's fabulous! The beer is delicious! And the staff is fun and welcoming!

I'll be first to admit it: I tend to be a cocktail person. I like a silly little glass and decoration; however, I find myself at Peabody Heights Brewery with friends a lot! The events they host are rad and a great reason to get out on any day. They have pilsners and pale ales for my buddies and goses/sours/stouts that can't get enough of! There's always something fun and new to try-- love the pop culture references and beautiful labels you can get in store too. I'm a branding/art nerd and it's cool to see t

This is the best arcade I have ever seen and I live in nyc

I got married here. Peabody heights is a lovely space and important anchor in the community. Great beer, lovely staff, awesome arcades. The community events that happened here are fantastic, be sure not to miss them.

Last night I was trying to count the number of birthday parties I've attended at Peabody and lost count. It's been a place I've celebrated so many life events for friends and community here - and I will forever continue to. It's a real gift to Baltimore City. And, best beer in the state hands down!

Not only do they make amazing beer with some of the most fun names, but the atmosphere can't be beat. You can find pretty much any kind of vibe you want at Peabody Heights. Great staff and amazingly fun location.

Great beer and great community spot! Tons of space inside, lots of beer variety, lots of awesome events, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. We love Peabody Heights!

Absolutely love this place. With the good beer and all the activities, they really foster a third space vibe. Glad to have them as my neighbors. Definitely join the mug club if you like arcades

Peabody is incredible! As someone who lives walking distance from this gem, I am here often. The beer is excellent, the vibes are good, and the servers are kind and thoughtful. Peabody is more than a brewery, it's a community hub. There is always something going on there - between plant swap, chess club, trivia, and karaoke, you are sure to find ample excuses to swing by and have a beer or just hang out. They also have lots of great N/A options like kombucha and craft sodas. I cannot recommend this place

Love this place. I can sample with small tasting glasses without buying an entire flight. Karaoke on Tuesday nights is a "don't miss" fun event. Classic arcade games almost impossible to find elsewhere. Great place for special event fund raiser too!

We had my son and daughter-in-law?s rehearsal dinner/gathering there over a year ago. They were great to work with and the beers were excellent. It's a fun place. I would highly recommend this brewery to anyone!

Ignore all the recent one star reviews posted by triggered fans of Shmuzzies. This place rocks! Great beer, knowledgeable staff, and a true neighborhood feel. Astrodon might be one of the tastiest beers I've had in a long time. Plus that's the official Maryland dinosaur.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair.
