We stumbled in yesterday and had a blast! Fun games for all ages. It's Covid proof, everyone is masked up and there are plenty of hand sanitizing products available.
Clean arcade with a wide selection of modern games open all year round! My daughter and I had a blast!
Always a staple for our family to visit and play! Sad dead storm pirates is no longer there. Staff is very friendly and helpful!
Pavilion Arcade is your typical arcade. You can buy a card or use cash which is nice. They also don't charge for the cards. The games are in good working conditions and the staff is attentive. The place is very clean.
Would?ve given five stars if the claws weren't completely rigged! And the worst part I assume the manager or boss or who she was curly headed lady didn't go up to all her workers and start screaming at them in front of all these people! It was so unprofessional. I watched her do this twice! She proceeded to make them all go somewhere and then because she made them all go away nobody was there to help us or had zero idea what was going on!
We absolutely love coming here. They arcades are amazing. We usually spend about 1 to 2 hrs here. You get tickets to win prizes and also other cards and promos. Parking to this boardwalk can be a hassle. Usually we find spots on the street where it's free but there are plenty of pay for parking spots if you don't want to wait
We happened to be visiting during a half off promo. If you purchased $10. you got $20. worth of credits. $20.= $40.. etc. Much better value but still complete junk for prizes. We had fun playing the games with the kids tho. The place is clean and not very crowded but it was a few days before Christmas.
Staff and rules when splitting cards is unfair?
Some fun games for the kids. The claw games were horrible. Everyone around us complaining it just immediately drops the toys, etc. We found a ticket claw machine which produced 5 prizes between two teens. Very small and not enough room with the amount of people. Could have less ticket games and more games of fun.
Some really cool arcade games here! The Halo one is especially cool
This arcade was terrible! the staff were teenagers that didn't care. The manager or boss made them go to different places so i wouldn't get any help. I went to the counter to redeem my tickets and got terrible cheap toys!
always fun and they have Bob!!
They reset the Crossy Road game so now 3 jumps = 1 move and where bonus ticket used to be 500 now only 100. They cannot afford good gamer gaming the rules, taking as many tickets as wanted. They do so much just to prevent people to take advantage of that. With that much of effort they've paid to reset the arcade machine, the game is over and you wouldn't have any more people willing to spend money on that arcade machine.
My father had been brining us here since we were kids. I'm 30 now and brought my girlfriend and her 6 year old sister a few times this year and it usually isn't too bad. This week all their ticket eaters broke so you had to have staff weigh your tickets. I counted a large bundle so I knew what I was bringing to them and they came up short by a large margin. When I said something about it they were very argumentative and some of the staff talked to us somewhat condescendingly. I don't see myself going back
Had a great time reliving my youth playing video poker and the coin pusher games. My friend and I each brought $10. She got a handmade ceramic mug and I had enough tickets for an eraser.
This was one of the best arcades I've been too since I went some similar places in Cape Cod, although I wish they had some more video arcade games but I guess the real fun is the prize redemption games of skill to win a lot of tickets and exchange them for points to accumulate the prizes they have. Love playing Skeeball and I enjoyed the slot machines and video poker too.
Super fun time for the whole family! The coin pushers are addicting! I definitely reccomend getting the Unbranded, Nondescript Grape Arcade Drink Prize tastes like real grapes!
We had a blast here! All of the staff was courteous, and we happened to hit it during happy hour- so our money went a LONG way. Good show, Pavilion!
Overall the arcade is enjoyable BUT their crane games are a straight up rip off. They need to adjust the machine settings to let customers to actually win. With the current settings, they may as well be money shredding machines. Modern claw machines are fully computerized and are remotely programmable by the owner. Settings and features commonly available include: Claw strength and aperture Claw movement speed, either as a whole, or in individual axis. Pick-up strength (on skill-based machines) Primar
I would recommend you go to one of the other arcades instead. Obviously there is a need for profit, but it is to the point where no one wins. They've had one machine with the same stuff in it for over a year. It is clear that this arcade operates on high payouts and is definitely greedier than the others on the beach.
they have the special that marks down the price of the games for about 2 hours, thats a good time to go. we found the games to be overpriced otherwise. a lot of broken games and long lines for the two ticket eaters that actually worked.
It was awesome the kids loved it. A little pricey but most arcades are. Could literally spend all day here
Kids love the games. Spend a lot of money. Get a ton of tickets and redeem them for cheap toys
This arcade has some of the best prizes on the entire boardwalk. They are displayed all around the room which contributes to the decoration of the place. Many games to play as well
Kids had a great time winning tickets for thier prizes. The staff was very helpful with any issues.
Me and kids really like this arcade lots of fun games and ways to get tickets.
Had a blast with my Grandchildren! Prices are manageable and there's lots of stuff to do and fun to be had!!
This arcade is nice..nothing special..most arcades now are cashless. You buy cards and swipe the card to play the games..A 3 star is all I can do here..
Make sure to check out the happy hour. Family had a great time!
Great arcade. Still does tickets which was kinda cool. Definitely modern with an old school twist.
Awesome place to take the family on a day trip. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Been coming here since I was a kid!
One of our families favorite arcade. Great games and prizes
SkeeBall, Electronic Bowling & Barrel of Monkeys are our favorites. Dollar bills are needed for many games.
Had a great time, lots of games and cool prizes.
Great place, lots of guys ready to fix the machines and add more tickets as needed.
Coin games are great, claw games are pretty sus for the most part
Family love going there and we come all the way from PA.
son loved it here... its smaller than i remembered but I guess it's good to kill a little time here
I enjoyed the games here. It's for young people and adults.
Good prices. Played for about half hour with 4 players for $25
The games are winable! Some other places the crane games are set so you lose.
Great local year round fun!
The attitude of the employees are really bad, when you try to change money or to cash your tickets!!!!! No respect for the customer!!!
This place rotates there prizes and has a great selection of games.
Fun place to spend a couple of hours just having fun.
An absolute blast every time we go here
Great place to go in the winter down the Shore.
My kids' favorite arcade on the boardwalk.
A lot of fun for kids and adults alike
Great place to visit and win tickets
Clean, machine worked. and was a good arcade
Doesn't trade in toys for the kids. Go to Frank's instead.
I got 100000 points..... i mean my son has them..yeah my son...
Very good times I only go to this arcade
Always a great time with the kids
Wish I had better luck
Nice selection of machines and prizes.
I would only play one or two games here
Great place fun for all !!!!
It's great for kids and it's addicting to

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
