All of the American comfort foods you want, reasonably priced and delicious! Fun atmosphere, very family-friendly - including a cool game room for kids of all ages.

So glad we stopped last night, it was late and wasn't sure we would find anything open! Cheese steak was top notch, slaw dogs were great! Gotta have a shake and funnel cake to end the night! Will be back ! All Good

I have passed this place many times and finally decided to stop. I realize I have been wasting money on fast food places when I want something quick and affordable. This place is a great restaurant with excellent service, fair prices, and great food. I ordered take out but would not hesitate to relax and enjoy my food there. I had one of the best cheesesteaks and some of the best fries I have had in a long time. The hot dog was great as well. Prices were fair, service was quick and food was awesome.

Got a dog all the way. Cheese wasn't melted which would have been a plus but it hit the spot. Going to try the cheesesteak as well.

Fast, fried, order-at-the-counter food, but not bad for what it is. Very fun atmosphere, attached to an arcade, great music playlist (pop and hip hop hits of the early 2000's), clean restaurant and great service! Staff were personable, friendly and fun to talk to. My black bean burger was good and my date liked their "All the Way" hot dog. Chocolate banana milkshake was good too. Fries were good; old fashioned drive-in style. Street parking. Only food open late on weekends in Honesdale.

Despite what some locals think, this place is a fantastic option for some good food in town. The obvious things they do well are dogs, burgers, fries, gyros, and cheese steak. I do wish the gyro was a little more fresh, but it's excellent still. Arcade in the back could use some extra staff. Seems like every time I'm in there with my kids, there are some grown men doing doing sketchy things or cursing ridiculously loud. Maybe just let adults with kids or just kids. It's hard to use the arcade when all you

Stopped here as soon as we got to town. Ordered two dogs, a cheesesteak, and funnel cake. Food is very reasonably priced and top notch. Dogs were cooked perfectly and the "all the way" was awesome. Cheesesteak was good. Not greasy and seasoned. I got a kick of pepper from the meat. Not bad, very good actually. Funnel cake was good too. Probably better if i ate it on the spot rather than took home but no real complaints. Food was prepared extremely fast and was very fresh. Very impressed. Edit: Went

First time at Paulie's, and it was a pleasant surprise. Went to check out the hotdogs, and also tried a chicken cheesesteak with some fries. Everything was very good. The fries were delicious, the cheesesteak was good, and the hot dogs were great. There is a little arcade with pool tables, skeeball, a pinball game, air hockey, and several other games. Note: you use dollars to buy a refillable card to play the games...they don't take cash or quarters. Overall, worth stopping in for some good food if you're i

Only stopped in for take-out while in the area but wish I Could've stayed. Real at-home vibe, an arcade, the food smelled excellent and you could watch it all be made. The staff is super involved with the customers. Even go above and beyond to recognize and show appreciation when someone leaves a tip. And besides all that, GRAVY FRIES ON A CHEESESTEAK.

We were in the area for Christmas and I was excited to give this place a try for hot dogs. I indulged and went with a small order of disco fries, The Gravy Train, and a chili dog with onions. Disco fries were very good... That brown diner gravy that I enjoy. Not too thick, but not watery. The chili dog was a simple, inexpensive hot dog with chili and diced rae onion. Hit the spot, not going to blow your mind, but a good quality. The Gravy Train gave me mixed feelings. Chicken... Really good! Bacon... Nice p

Everytime I go to Paulie's I always leave impressed. The cohesiveness between the crew and the way that they all work together like a well oiled machine, no matter who's working that day, is something that you really don't see at a restaurant anywhere. The staff always seems welcoming and friendly to customers as well. Oh and their food is great and fairly priced too!! Highly recommend.

It's always a treat to eat at Paulie's...food is phenomenal and the staff are funny, cordial and very entertaining ??

Great place with friendly staff and delicious food! Something for everyone.

I'm from Philly. I'm calling out to all Philly ppl,. What does a cheesesteak hoagie mean? It means mayo, lettuce, cheese, onions, tomato, or does it mean a cheesesteak on a hoagie roll? Hella back! I bought onion rings, they taste like Chinese store dirty oil that has not been cleaned in months, USE no the taste.

I really enjoyed both times I've been here. The staff is really kind and very fast with service they give this small town a little more charm. I had the chili dog and some fries and couldn't have been happier, I recommend getting fries with whatever you order because they were perfect. The arcade is fun and great for kids if you want to stop in. If I come back to the area I will make an effort to come here and grab lunch again and take a walk around town. On your way out make sure to ring the bell and show

This is an awesome little place that has great fast food. Never had an order wrong or anything bad!

Paulie?s always gives great meals and great service! Always fun to bring the kids here to shoot some pool and play some games and enjoy some amazing hotdogs along with so many other great options on the menu!

Paulie's Hot Dogs ?? are fantabulous. Cheese fries, strawberry shakes, funnel cakes, deep fried deserts and a fantastic staff! What more could one ask for. If your in Honesdale or nearby Paulie's is a must stop by and give a try. You won't be disappointed.

Paulie's Hot Dogs in Honesdale, PA, is a true delight for hot dog lovers. I couldn't resist the temptation after trying just one; I had to go back for a second because they were that good. The hot dogs are a perfect balance of flavors and textures ? juicy, savory, and with a satisfying snap. The variety of toppings and condiments allows you to customize your dog to perfection. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make it a must-visit spot for a casual, delicious meal. Don't miss out on this culinary gem i

I've been coming to Paulie?s for years and just looked them up to modify my 5 star review after another excellent experience. But to my surprise, I never left a review for them yet! It's never a disappointment and they're always very consistent. Great service every time. Even better food! Unfortunately the wife and I live about 2 hours south from Paulie?s now, but we always make sure to go out of our way when we're anywhere near the area because Paulie?s is always worth it! Definitely the best cheese stea

Great family lunch spot!! Food and Services in a perfect setting of video games etc. Highly recommend !

The food here is phenomenal, never been before, I will be back! Everything we ordered was fantastic!

Says they're Philly cheesesteaks were voted the best. Ummm ?? yuck. Steakum was wet, bread was a steak roll ( not Italian bread) which was soft and soggy. Tasted like the nasty cheesesteaks from the Wayne county fair ??.. My daughter did say the wrap was pretty good... I will go back and try their hotdogs though.

Super friendly and inviting restaurant and staff. I had and Texas wiener and fries. Like it a lot. The town is full of activity and restaurants. I will be back next time. Has a game room in the restaurant.

The staff is so friendly, food was great and huge portion of french fries

Today was me and my hubby?s 1st visit to Paulie?s and it definitely won't be our last. The staff is amazing! They are friendly, kind, appreciative, and hard working! The dining area is nothing fancy, but at the same time it is perfect. There are some tables and booths and a game room adjacent to it. You order at the counter and let me just say the choices are plentiful. Of course we had to try some hot dogs: I had the Chicago and hubby had the Coney Island, both were cooked, executed and tasted wonderfully.

Great food, warm atmosphere and stellar service. Been a couple times and sent my parents there. Haven't had anything to eat there that I didn't like-- hot dogs are great, the gyro is stellar, cheese fries are slamming, and it's all priced reasonably. Wish we had something like it in my area.

Incredible food and some of the friendliest staff I've seen In a long time!!

Super awesome old school place that serves food faster and more fun than anywhere I can think of. Open late and serving diet busting foods.

We were in the area visiting and decided to stop by. Everyone working there was friendly and enthusiastic! The menu is very extensive and if we were here longer I would want to go back and try different things. Prices were very reasonable! The hot dogs and fries were great.

Every time I come to town to visit my dad, I have to go to Paulie's. Hot dogs are great, but staff is even better! Love the atmosphere here. Try the gravy fries! Yummm

Very good place to grab some hotdogs and fries. My kids enjoy the chicken basket and fry combo, and the chicken wings. Friendly staff and good service. There is a nice game room for kids in the back. There is also a pool table and music. This has also become a popular place for the youth in Honesdale to frequent and all are fond of the place. A decent place for a quick bite and food has always been good.(They deliver in the local area)

The food is delicious , the service was great, and the games looked like fun.

Paulie's is the best place to get hotdogs in Honsedale. They did not disappoint with this time with the display of the chicken bacon ranch fries and Montana burger. Want a burger? Want a hotdog? Don't want to be disappointed? Get Paulie's!

Great meal at a great price. Fast and friendly service.

Great service, fun attitude, fair-like atmosphere. Has an arcade for the kids, food price is pretty reasonable and is always delicious. One of my favorite lunch spots in the area.

Great food. Enthusiastic staff and good hours. Never had anything didn't like. The Philly is great and the dogs are awesome. Shakes are nice too

Stopped there expecting a simple hot dog place boy I was wrong they have a reasonably large menu and friendly staff and darn good FOOD!!!

The food was really good. I can see at times they can get very busy , so be patient. Its Its worth the wait. I see some people that leave bad reviews about the petty stuff. From someone who owns a very busy business it gets hard to keep everyone happy . I've eaten chicken wings and pizza from port jervis all the way to willkesbarre and this place was awesome

Sloppily put together. This is a chicken ranchero use to be full of bacon, cheese, lettuce and dressing now it's just dry chicken tenders in a sloppy wrap. Even gave a 15% tip when I had to pick it up myself. Paulie?s has definitely gone down hill.

Great atmosphere and staff. Food was phenomenal! A must stop!

Literally drive for an hour once a month to go here with my friends. We found the place by accident 6 years ago and are still coming like clockwork. The one guy there is a total clown and makes it worth the trip, him and the game room that is, lol. The hot dogs are great, I recommend getting stinger hoagie though, you'll definitely come back if you do. This is from the day we found it, not much has changed and I like that ??

I'm a Jersey guy, and I know hot dog joints Paulie's tops any dog joints I've ever been to in Jersey Thanks for the great grub and the great service I will be back!!!

This place has the best hot dogs in the 570. The service is fast, prices are cheap, and there is an arcade.

Stopped in for the first time, very friendly employees great customer service and the food is great and fairly priced! Awesome fresh cut fries too! Highly recommended!

Awsome!!! People are great, very inviting big greetings as you walk in. It's a have it your way place, but the menu has it all the way already. There are so many things to get , try, and love!!! Deep fried pbj!!! Come on now!!! The fries!!!!!!!!!! I'll say that again, "THE FRIES!!!" LET'S GO!!! hot dogs are fried grill top or dirty watered get one of each n thank me later. Take the tour of the USA the right way by eating hotdogs by each states style. There is an arcade area for the kids and ice cream shake

Hot dogs were delicious! Staff was awesome & our 2 year old loved the car his chicken tenders & french fries came in.

Dave is always and forever gonna be the og cook man use to make my childhood hang out place fun will never forget the nerf gun wars!

Food was great. Hot dogs were amazing cheese streaks were on point funnel cake with fresh strawberries. I highly recommend this place

this place rules! we were staying at the hotel wayne traveling to a concert in bethel woods, we beat the traffic and ate here at 11:15ish. service was amazing the guys were so friendly and funny and the food was cheap and delicious! i wish i could come back more often!

Went here this weekend with my parents and I just have to say the service was unbelievable. the staff really cares and interacts with the guests, the food was delicious and fresh. Such a great place to stop for a quick bite. 10/10 recommend

I just paid $9 plus tip for a Gyro w 4pc of meat. Disappointed is an understatement.

French fries are pretty good, and the girl who took our order was very friendly. Arcade was a disappointment. Claw machines are filled with junk. The air hockey table is absolutely filthy, is not fully functional, and timed out before either of us reached 7 points.

Large assortment for choices of what you want on a dog and if you want something outside the hot dog family, try a burger or gyros. Fries are great and they make a real good smoothie. Worth going to. Kid friendly with a game room. Give it a try!

Claimed the "Best Cheesesteak" Around. Actually from Philadelphia Area , and can say they were definitely Topnotch for This Area.Added Bonus was an Arcade/Playroom attached.

Manager threatened me and my friend for playing pool the correct way. Other them him the staff was friendly and great.

What an awesome place! Fun staff, great food, very reasonable prices.

Fantastic place! The service is great, the attention to detail and cleanliness is superb.

Very friendly, fast and food is amazing!!!

Just discovered this and have been there like 6 times since. Great hot dogs, great price, good environment, bring the kids and eat in or take out.

Visited Pauline?s for the 1st and last time today. The food was average. It was food-nothing special. However what will ensure I NEVER go back is the sour attitude of the staff. I always tip well (and I gave 15% when using my debit card). A smile and a thank you ho a LONG WAY to ensure repeat customers. Their condescending comments and charging me $2 for extra sauce (I spend $60 in food) was the last nail in the coffin. I do not recommend this place. Even when I asked if I leave the plates, wrappers, etc on

Great Food, but Pre-Payment and Tipping Policy Raises Questions I recently had the pleasure of stopping by for lunch at your establishment this past Saturday. My bride and I both ordered the cheese steak hoagies, with one being the pizza version and the other the chicken variety. Alongside our sandwiches, we also ordered a serving of small fries, a small coke, and a water. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was delicious and satisfying. However, there was one aspect of our dining experience that left m

Great staff, great food, great prices.

Friendly and attentive staff. Bacon and cheese fries were absolutely awesome! Kids tried fried perogies for the first time and loved them (said the mashed potatoes inside were the smoothest and tastiest they've ever had in a perogie). Chicken cheese steak hoagie and regular cheese steak hoagie were great-lots of meat, just the right amount of cheese, and a soft roll to go with it all. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely go back and eat there again!

The prices have gone up while the quality has gone down unfortunately. They stopped doing deliveries which, in my opinion, was what one of their best qualities aside from their deep fried Oreos. If you are looking for fair food all year, this place will suffice.

My husband and I came in for the first time a few days ago and we loved it! The staff were friendly. Atmosphere was amazing ??. The food was wonderful ??. Thank you!!

My first visit to Paulie's in over a decade- the food was just as delicious as I remembered! There's now a big game room, which my little boy loved. We'll definitely be going back next time we are in town.

Very good hot dogs here I love The selection of Vinegar available to dunk your French fries in! Love the Cole slaw hot dog I couy eat several at a time awesome place!

I've only been able to use the delivery service from here because there was no wheelchair ramp. I'm not sure if they put one in recently or not, BUT their delivery service definitely conquered everything. The food and service were great! Thanks

Great food and prices if your looking for a hotdog, cheeseburger, or fries. Food comes out quick and it's super affordable. The staff and manager are fun and great with children!!

I'd rather have good food with bad service than bad food with good service, and we received good food with bad service. Customer service needs some major improvement. A friendly customer hello. A friendly answer to a customer question. Not a rude, snippy response to a simple question about when our order was going to be ready. The only redeeming thing about stopping here today was that the food we ordered was very good. We would stop again to try other food, but I find it hard to tip when someone is just r

Great, fun place. Clean, and you can imagine how hard that is to do at a hot dog place WITH an arcade, to boot. Amazing food, find, and atmosphere. Even though their hot dogs and fries are their cornerstone, they have ice cream (when in season) and a diverse, great menu. Truly the local place to go to for food. Worth traveling miles for, will definitely be coming back.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and a Hello ?? So the service is excellent. Friendly and funny ?? We ordered hot dogs and fries and a pretzel. It was all so good !! Haven't had a hot dog like that since I've been back to NY. On our next visit, I will try the gyro and some desserts. Can't wait ????

Kids and I had a great time at Paulie's !! We were first-timers, new to the area. The menu was great, food was great, prices were great, staff was great !! We also had a very nice time in their arcade / play area. This is a wonderful place to take your kids for a bite and some fun !! Cheese fries were amazing....

We love it here! There are so many different kinds of hot dogs and every kind we try has been delicious, the fries are homemade and crispy and the workers are always super friendly. That's why we keep coming back again and again...keep up the good work!

Paulie's is a great place to eat. Very family friendly, delicious food, affordable prices, and friendly staff. I've been going there for years and hopefully for many more to come.

I'm not very easily impressed when it comes to dining out whether it's a small diner or a pricey restaurant. I don't mind spending good money for good food and service, however I do mind spending good money on bad food / and or service. I've past Paulie's many time's and have never stopped in. On Monday my wife and I stopped to get takeout for our ride home. I've got to tell you...I was totally impressed! We ordered bacon cheese fries, they actually cut fresh potatoes in front of us ( no frozen fries here

Ordered burgers, cheese fries, cheese steaks, gyros, and wings. The burgers are delicious, with a wide array of toppings to choose from. They literally slather the fries in cheese. I watched them ladle it on. The cheese steaks and gyros are great too. Their wings are some of the best in town, and they use the best blue cheese dressing. This place is awesome. If you eat in there is a nice arcade for the kids, or they deliver until midnight. The open kitchen is nice and clean. Well done people!

Loved it! Next time I'm getting a Paulie's Pak to go. Great selection of hot dogs!

Fair favorites at fair prices. We've been patrons for years, and never once had an order that didn't meet or exceed expectations. It's always fresh, and the portions are large. Bonus: their fries actually travel well, so this is a good place for carry out or delivery.

Great food. Fast and friendly service. Reasonably priced. World known!

Great to see a place that isn't afraid to be itself. Go in expecting a great hotdog (and other great bar food) and you won't be disappointed! So friendly and quick. A go to place every time we in the area.

So very good! Great local spot, take out is a breeze and the food travels well. There is a little arcade inside, looks like it would be a lot of fun for a date or family night. Try the bacon and ranch dog or a deep fried hot dog!

Great food. It's always made the same way as last time you ordered in. Continuity is important. If you have 3 different people cooking they should all make a dish the same way. From hotdogs to elaborate dishes. Everyone there is always very nice

We absolutely love Paulie's. Great service. Awesome food. They have a great and vast selection of items. The cheese fries blow your socks off. Service with a smile always. Great customer experience. Kids love it. Price point is within range for the food. Go visit you won't be disappointed. Anytime we are near Paulie's we stop in to eat.

The staff was extremely friendly and the place was very clean. I have to say, they had the cleanest bathroom I ever saw. Now to the food. The food was outstanding. Their Philly cheese steak sandwiches had a generous helping of meat. Yum!!! Their hotdogs were delicious!

Excellent food.. don't let the name fool you.. they have hot dogs, burgers, chicken... a whole menu for your families diverse tastes. Bring your appetite..

Great food with a amazing environment!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
