What a blast! We had so much fun playing. All the games are in top shape, great game play.

Simply an amazing place! Every machine is in working order. If anything jams a man shows up within seconds and fixes it. Great family atmosphere. Good clean fun. A treasure and a delight for any pinball lover. Classic fun for all ages! Memories made here. Three floors of fun plus snacks!

We had our wedding after party at Pastime Pinball and it was amazing! We had the place to ourselves and everyone had a blast. The drinks and snacks were great and there were so many games to play! Beth was great to work with and the whole rental process was incredibly easy! We'd recommend Pastime Pinball even if you are just stopping by for a bit, it's a great place!

Absolutely ridiculously expensive $16.00 for a half an hour $27.00 or $80.00 for a pass and told you better put a timer or be charged even more money. I liked all the pinball machines and it was a cool place. Didn't have to be told put a timer on or else you know a half an hour goes fast no kidding for that price, just so you know I'm just reposting this because you just assumed I was that person and sent me a horrible message and accusing me of having a kid and berating your staff not the person not happy

This place was a rare treat, amazing collection of old and new pinball machines! Would go back there again. Loved the shuffle disc game. Highlights were also basketball and bowling electromechanical games!

My wife and I had such a blast here on our date night. The equipment and machines worked flawlessly. What a blast from the past!!! You pay for half an hour, so if you have a few minutes in between activities or are looking for a fun evening, don't hesitate to stop in here and have some classic fun. I am glad these kinds of places still exist!!

Absolutely fantastic place to come and visit. The machines were all in fantastic condition, fun to play with a wide variety in age and theme. We had a pretty large group and they were incredibly accommodating and made sure we felt welcome. If I didn't live 3 hours away I'd be here every week.

We found this place after visiting Mt. Equinox, and I have to say it's pretty awesome. There's a huge selection of pinball machines on the 1st floor, from their first ever authentic pinball machine from 1947 Humpty Dumpty, all the way to new modern machines. The second floor has a variety of video games as well as a snack bar in case you get hungry or thirsty. The only downside is the price. If you would like unlimited time, it's $25 which isn't bad, but if you're making a quick stop and don't have a lot of

Pretty cool place to spend a few hours and see some pinball machines from as far back as the 40's to current day. Enjoy paying one price and only having to push a start button. Play as long as you like, no carrying quarters, making change, visiting an ATM or bill changer. Simply pick your time of play and play a variety of over 30 machines or just play your favorite. Owner/operator is super friendly and courteous especially having to deal with the COVID issues. Very clean and well maintained. Brought back

Went to visit Pastime Pinball on their opening day for business on Friday November 29th. It was a great time and they have a really nice collection of pinball machines from current day offerings to rare EM machines from the 50's & 60's. There is something for everyone. It is a pay per time to play as much pinball as you can. Currently they have two options....30 minutes for $15 or 4 hours from $25 plus tax....which comes to $26.75. I purchased the 4 hour option and it was well worth it. $15 for 30 minutes m

Pastime Pinball is an exciting, delightful treat for all pinball game fans, and the customer service is friendly and helpful! They have other arcade games as well! My biggest compliment- EVERY SINGLE MACHINE is in PRISTINE CONDITION, and looks as though they were purchased right from the showroom floor. My husband and I noticed how every component inside the machines- the flippers, base, tracks, etc- were shining as if they were brand new (I am being redundant, however it is worth stressing how exceptiona

A truly special place. Cabinets were lovingly and meticulously curated and a delight to play. Very clean, cared for space with drinks and snacks with good some game cocktail tables were fun too. The baseball mechanical pinball on the second floor is a treasure. We will be back.

Impressive array of pinball machines from many decades. Everything is free play after a decently steep entrance fee, but I felt I got value out of the hours that we stayed there playing my all-time favorite Cyclone and the bowling game upstairs was a great way to have some friendly betting when we couldn't/didn't ski because of the rain.

Absolutely excellent experience, so many pinball machines to try out and so well preserved. Food and drink was good too! Try the root beer float.

Fun place to kill some time. You basically have two options. You can do a 30 minute open play or unlimited open play. 3 and under are free. My kids range in ages from 3-8. They definitely did not need more than 30 minutes there. I did not pay for an adult ticket, they allow you to be have a "non-play" lanyard if you're the adult with a kid(s). This is nice because i really would not have been able to play while chasing after 3 little ones! They had fun seeing all the machines and learning to play. They even

I was there today with my son. This arcade is both enjoyable and historical. I've never been to any place like it before we only stayed for a short time but we truly enjoyed the time that we had there I think that this is a treasure for Manchester Vermont.

Came here while staying at an AirBNB down the street in between Okemo and Mt. Snow. This place was awesome! They've got pinball machines lined up in chronological order, from 1947 all the way to present day! We'd come back here in a heartbeat the next time we are in town!

Such a cool place to visit and spend time with friends, they have machines from 1952 to present. I even found the machines that made at the year I was born!

I loved this place! I'd be here all the time if I didn't live 5hrs away. Sooo many pinball games! And the root beer float is on point! There's also some video and other games up in the snack area.

We had a great time at Pastime Pinball! The range of machines is beyond impressive, the staff was friendly and the snacks were tasty. Looking forward to returning to Manchester for more pinball fun. Highly recommend this place for family fun and adults that are kids at heart.

My partner and I visited today for the first time, but we'll definitely be back! The guy warned us that we would have to pay if we went over our 30 minute time slot. We did go over accidentally (you really lose yourself in the best way), but the guy was gracious despite our mistake. Next time we will play it safe and order the all day package! It was super fun and you could easily spend a lot of time there. Amazing collection of pinball machines. My partner said they also had a snack bar, we will check tha

What a great way to spend an afternoon. The owner was friendly and explained the setup and pricing options. Good selection and variety of vintage and modern games. Even set a personal best on Lord of the Rings. Would definitely go again if I were in the area.

We were hesitant about committing to the unlimited passes and got the 30 minute passes, but we got sucked into the games very quickly and ended up staying for hours. We were worried about the price of tickets but I assure you they are totally worth it. The games are all extremely well kept and maintained and organized too! They have an incredible selection. They also add an informative aspect so you will learn a lot about the history while you are having fun. A great place I highly recommend .

This place is super fun! Only an hour and a half from Albany, it's easy to lose track of time there!

Excellent time!!! Been a few times now my grandson is old enough can't wait to bring him it's worth the ride for me

Great fun, some nice old machines

What a great spot! $17/adult for 30mn unlimited access to all if their vintage pinballs, or $27 for unlimited day access. Way worth it for this unique and really fun experience

It's a Super fun place to lose a couple hours at. Pastime Pinball is perfect for a kid's birthday party (Both big and small kids).

Pinball machines offered were good but the people working there were sneaky. We had two toddlers and paid for a certain amount of time. They never mentioned to set our own watches or how it worked really. We were over time without realizing it and the person working there came up to us AFTER the fact to say we're over time and have to pay extra. They were watching our time but didn't bother to let us know our time was up. They were also very rude about it in front of our children. Very disappointed.

Woke up to a -14? morning and decided to do some exploring rather than ski. Glad we stopped here, we enjoyed some family time on a REALLY cold winter day! Fun variety of games for the kids and adults.

Love this spot! Been there many times, the tables are in excellent condition, staff are friendly, they just got Elton John CE and Labyrinth! Awesome collection of 90's machines, older classics, newer tables. Worth the trip if you're in Vermont or anywhere else in New England or Eastern New York.

Fantastic place, the machines are kept in top condition and curated, with titles saying from 1947 to 2024. It's very close to a "best of" collection, and if you can't get your money's worth from the all you can eat pay once play all day pricing, you're not trying hard enough. There's a small snack bar on the second level with a nice selection, although you can't take the food downstairs to where the pinball machines are, it's there if you need to take a break. Honestly, a destination location: worth going o

It was magical and fun. So well organized. We will be back!!

Incredible collection and pretty well maintained. Owner was a bit surly. Worth the trek and Manchester is a beautiful area to visit.

Drove out from NH just to have a date with Hubby. Had a great time playing the games. Worth the trip and the unlimited pass.

I grew up with pinball, and I've been loving the way it's come back lately. This place is great, with machines from the latest to ones older than I am. The free play with one admission model means you can enjoy old favorites and sample some new machines. The folks who run the place do a great job of keeping everything clean and in good repair and they're just plain nice folks as well. Whether you're a long-time pinball fan or just want to check out the scene, this is a fun place to do it. The only way it co

Best pinball museum I have ever been to. Well staffed. Very impressive level of quality overall. The pinball machines worked great. Definitely will be coming back. Food was also very good. Nachos were amazing, Root Beer is straight up the best I've tasted, hot dogs were very good. Would highly recommend coming here. The number of pinball machines they have is something truly extraordinary.

Every aspect of our afternoon at Pastime was excellent from start to finish. The owner takes obvious pride in the quality of the machines, the facilities and your experience. Four of us, all adults, spent an afternoon that just flew by. We did take a short break to go upstairs to the snack bar which was clean and has a perfect arcade menu. We had a blast!

Great time. Cool to see the evolution of the pinball machines throughout the years.

Pastime Pinball is a meticulously curated working museum of pinball machines through the decades that you won't want to leave. I came with my significant other and we both went for the green "Stay & Play" pass which was so worth it as we played for every minute of the allotted four hours. The snack bar was stocked with great quality food; try the waffle with chocolate sauce made right here in Vermont. 10/10, will absolutely be back!

We had a ton of fun here. So many awesome games and great snacks. We were super impressed by everything offered. Everything was super clean and well maintained; almost every single game was playable and working well, even the really old games!

This is fun the whole family can enjoy. This is our family's post-skiing treat. Impeccably maintained pinball machines from the 1950s-present day. The price might seem high but when you see the care the owner takes of these machines you feel good about supporting a business like this.

Seems like a really cool spot and experience the pinball machines throughout the decades. You pay entrance to the "museum" and all the games are free play. Bar upstairs too for the grown ups. Friendly staff too.

Super fun time for people of all ages. Highly recommend.

Extremely rude owner. We didn't stay. Edit. If you had taken the time to NICELY explain your packages, we probably would have stayed. Don't come on like everyone's out to get you. We only needed some guidance, we had never been there before. We would have been happy to pay the individual price for each of us. It's very interesting how all your bad reviews talk about how rude you are. If you can get past the front door it's probably a great time.

Why not grab a beer and play some pinball? They've got new machines you've never heard of and old machines that look better than you remember. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. This is the spot.

This place is phenomenal. If you love pinball it's an incredible experience. The machines are meticulously maintained and fun for all ages. Playing on true antique machines is a great way to have fun for kids and also teach them the importance of respecting such rare equipment

I love this place ! First time coming today and the staff was pleasant And everything was clean. Lots of selection for games. No complaints !

Totally cool pinball arcade/museum! I could spend all day here! It's definitely a must-see if you enjoy pinball. Dogs are welcome and they have food and craft beer upstairs. The lady who was on at the time I was there was named Ray and she was very welcoming and informative about all the different machines and the years they were created. Will definitely be stopping here again when I'm back this way!

My daughter and I had a fantastic time! They have a huge range of pinball machines as well as other arcade games, like Pac-Man and Galaga!

Love this place. Great, friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

Broad selection of pinball games, nicely organized / machines aren't crowded, friendly staff, easy parking. Love the ?all you can eat? admission price. And we ate!

Cool vintage machines in great working order. See how pinball evolved over the years. Historical information about each machine including year manufactured and units produced. Pricey for unlimited play, but worth it for the experience.

All my life, my pinball gaming experiences were limited by the number of quarters I had on me...and I never had many quarters. If I did, I usually wasn't near a pinball machine. After knowing about Pastime Pinball for a few years, I finally made my way there for a visit. I had an absolute blast! At first glance, the sheer number of pinball machines in one space is almost overwhelming, and every single one of them is in excellent condition. The staff were all very helpful and friendly as well. Before I kne

This place rocks ! Played For hours had a blast Great staff

Was rather loud for a while, but that's to be expected. All the cabinets felt very well maintained, there was a massive selection, and we all had an absolute blast. Any time there was an issue with a cabinet, staff didn't delay to investigate. The only disappointment about it is that I don't live closer to go there more often.

i rarely give 5 star reviews, but they deserve it. you experience how pinball machines have evolved since the 1940's. even though it was busy, no queues for machines, everything was clean: i was there for 3 hours and didn't realize...

I bought the 30 minute pass and ended up staying for over 2 hours and upgraded to the unlimited pass! Best two hours of fun I've ever had on my birthday!

Lots of fun! Time flies so plan for the day! Machines from 1952 to present. Love the old EM?s. Many local shops to visit nearby too.

I can't attest to the facility itself which looked great, but we didn't get to experience the games because the person working the desk insisted that I needed to pay to supervise my underage son because I needed to wear my toddler on my back in a baby carrier. If I was to leave her in the car (of course I wouldn't) then I wouldn't be required to pay to supervise my son. The attitude of the employee? Owner? Was so incredibly rude and he had no heart when seeing how devastated my 4 year old was that he couldn

Great collection of well curated classic and modern pinball machines from multiple decades. Loved the description giving you the background for each machine like in a museum. You don't have to be a pinball fan to visit as this place is a great arcade in its own right. Machines are well maintained and work flawlessly. I only noticed a left flipper on the LotR being finicky. And Friday the 13 was down.

Pastime Pinball is fantastic! If you like pinball, nostalgia, or even electronics ( as they have a clear see thru one you can play just past the lobby ??) it's great. The young lady I met running the shop is even a ranked pinball champ ?? and could tell you all about them. A wonderful place, and once you pay your entrance fee all of the games are free to play so you can play them all if you'd like and get a taste of pinball through the ages up to today as their newest one was from 2022. I'll certainly be ba

I brought my parents to Pastime Pinball for a Friday afternoon visit to Manchester to commemorate my Dad?s 75th birthday. I had visited on my own in December 2021 and had a ball playing all the beautifully kept vintage machines, and I knew my folks would enjoy it. My dad has been an avid fan of pinball since childhood and was tickled the museum?s collection included a game dated from the year he was born. The unlimited play all day pass is definitely money well spent! We had so much fun playing together. Th

Amazing place, took my 9 year old son and he loved it. We played for nearly 5 hours. It's awesome to play all the generations of games. Definitely going to go back again.

Amazing selection of pinball machines (including ones from the 1950s) and super fun experience here. The place is immaculate and very friendly staff. The snack bar food was delicious (my son rated the Mac n cheese the best ever!) and well priced too. We came with kids and a great way to kill a few hours after skiing.

Lots of fun and spacious! We were two of a decent amount of other people there and still played freely. Would recommend to arcade nerds. About 3 machines didnt work but wasnt really an issue when theres so much to choose from. My only complaint would be that I'd like to learn a bit more. That being said the educational pieces they had, like the see through cabinet, were pretty cool. Glad places like this exist, happy to support them.

Owner was rude, belittling and dismissive. I have never been spoken to so horribly upon check in. Had there been anything else in town to do, I would have left. Kindness goes a long way! This gentleman had no kindness at all! I was told this is his disposition always?makes me sad for the children of Manchester.

Pastime Pinball is a "must visit" in Manchester! $15 for a half hour of supreme nostalgia and pulse raising fun if you don't have much time? YES PLEASE!!! Great deal! About $20 for far longer if possible? Oh, heck yes! Definitely! Fantastic deal! I typically start with the 50's machines, admiring their simplicity, and move my way forward to the 2000's, admiring the technology. Truly a rare hands-on and well-maintained entertaining museum, this place is a must see!

Absolutely Awesome! Had a great time, 4 hrs of free pinball play on beautiful machines. Brought me back to some great times. Food and drinks were exceptional and reasonably priced. Would add additional bathroom and maybe have some adult only hours . Can't wait to go back.

This is the greatest place ever. Not only is the place spotless, but the people running this business are so kind. They showed us how to work the machines and it was a great time for the whole family! We are so happy/lucky to have such a great business in the town of Manchester! I would highly recommend it to our friends.

I could not be more obsessed with Pastime Pinball. It is everything from the perfect family friendly place to expel some much needed kiddo energy to an amazing place to hang out and grab a beer or wine with friends to the perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon with your furry friend (yes it's dog friendly!). They have the most fun and amazing games spanning decades. The staff and owners are the nicest people ever. And beer and wine selection is A+. I always insist on a stop here when coming to Vermont.

A real throw back! Loved all the different generation of games.

Such and fun place to visit and we're so lucky to have Pastime Pinball in our town! I brought my children several times when they first opened and held my older son?s 5th birthday there just weeks after they opened. Everyone had a great time. I hesitated in visiting since the pandemic started but we went again last week, and the place is perfectly set up with hand sanitizer dispensers throughout, and the staff is diligent about cleaning. Fortunately/Unfortunately, there were not many people there, and it's

If you love pinball, this is your place! A curated pinball museum where you can play all the games for one entry fee! These machines are well loved and cared for, and the staff are welcoming and really know their pinball history. I loved all the nostalgic feelings I got from playing the games. Plus a snack bar with craft beer and vintage games on the second floor.... that's a recipe for fun :)

Fantastic! Tables from all eras, all in tip top shape. Selection was impressive - they have many of the top games of all time. Appeals to newcomers and veterans of the pinball scene. If I could come to this place every day, I would. Good snacks and friendly service, with beers soon to come. Great stopover while someone in your party is shopping. That's a Win-Win.

Clean, the machines are well maintained, and it was so fun for our family!

A really fun experience, they've got pinball machines dating back to their first introduction in the 1950's! We initially opted for the 30min pass, but quickly lost track of time and decided to upgrade to the unlimited pass and ended up staying over an hour; there was so much to cover! Upstairs offers some snacks and a few other vintage games as well.

My first visit to Pastime Pinball was a surprise from my wife for Father's Day 2020. I had an absolute blast. Beth and Marty were happy to chat about pinball while we were there. They were also accommodating to our 4yr old daughter, grabbing stools for her to reach games. All of the machines are in excellent condition, you can see their passion in how well everything is maintained. I plan to visit many, many times in the future with friends and family.

Took my kids in yesterday. They had an amazing time..and I did too! The machines are in excellent condition and it's a fascinating walk through pinball history while you're playing the games. It brought back loads of memories for me. The staff was wonderful. Definitely give it a go! We'll be back.

What a great idea! I had so much fun that my wrists hurt from playing for so long!! The time and effort put into keeping the older machines working properly is probably extensive. They all work perfectly! Food and Drinks are on the menu as well!

The guy running it wasn't the friendliest. I could tell he was running the place as a hobby and not a business, so customer service wasn't the greatest either. We were there for a birthday party but yet the adults had to pay additional fees if we wanted to play anything. When the end of the scheduled time came(AT THE VERY SECOND) they just rudely unplugged all the games regardless of being able to finish the game.

My kids love Pastime Pinball. They have safe protocols in place, the establishment is very clean, proper mask wearing is enforced and social distancing is mandatory. The owners are very kind and super friendly! It has been a safe haven during these difficult times! Thank you for your dedication to our community!

Pastime Pinball is a great spot. We've been there 3 times for 30 min but my son and I agreed we are going to leave dad home and stay for much longer next time! Everything is pristine, they follow the protocols very well. We felt safe being there. Fun times.

The highlight of my recent trip to Manchester Vermont was my visit to Pastime Pinball. An extraordinary collection of vintage pinball machines, it is a combination museum and arcade. So much to look at and to play! Pricing was very fair - so much fun for the money. The owners/managers were warm and welcoming. I have 3 teenagers who enjoyed their time as much as we did! Great fun, great food. Can't wait to go back.

Even if you don't play pinball at all, this is a wonderful place to experience some of the best pinball machines ever made. As someone who enjoys pinball often, this is a special place. The games are in great shape and are in working condition. I recommend to stay at least 2 hours and try as many as you can! If you are not close by, this place is worth a long drive. The cover charge is a great value in my opinion. Once you are in, you can play games ranging from 1947 to present. Many of the best games from

This was a horrible experience. It took 20 minutes to get through a line of 2 people. We paid the ?sampler? time of $15 for 30 minutes a person (adult). We were not given an official time as to when we should be done playing. There is one digital clock at the front door, off to the side of the counter, and that's it. As we were registering to play, it took us over 20 minutes (4people in line ahead of us) to get in to play whereas my family members were already playing and clocking their time down. We accide

This place is fantastic! Our kids just love it, the games are amazing, snacks delicious, service outstanding. It is clean and social distancing rules are in place so I feel very safe with my family. We are so fortunate to have this little gem in our magnificent Manchester! ??

Have to kill 30 minutes waiting on food so did the 30 minutes for $15 for unlimited play. Cool to try out machines from different decades and to see the progression of how elaborate the machines get over the years. Would definitely go again next time I'm in the area and try out more machines as well as the craft beer they serve

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
