Parkville Bowling Lanes

It was my first time coming here and playing duck pin bowling. I thought it was really fun, much better than regular bowling. It was priced about the same as other bowling places. Thought it could use a little upgrade, getting automatic pin system and an electronic interface like most modern alleys. Still had a good time though

Top notch duckpin alley. Staff was nice. Lanes were functional and the pizza was crisp!

Staff was pleasant and nice place for kids to enjoy duckpin but it's extremely dirty. It's very old needs an update ASAP to the point you take score by hand have to reset each set. This place stayed in the 70s

Decent place for kids bur DEFINITELY do not go here for rock and bowl it is not rock and bowl whatsoever. The music isn't loud at all you cannot heat it on the one side at all, the lights are bright they barely turn off. Oh and also the technology is so old YOU HAVE TO KEEP SCORE BY HAND. They refused to turn on the projector for the PAYING ROCK AND BOWL people. Def won't go again for rock and bowl especially when Bowlero is a little bit more pricey but actually rock and bowl. Classic vintage Bowling alley! Plenty of lanes for multiple groups to go for strikes! Feeling the arcade, as well. It's a fun spot for fun with family and friends. Located in the middle of a shopping center, it's a great gem in the community!

We had an awesome time. We loved how retro everything looked and the staff were really nice to us as first timers.

Always a great experience. Be sure to grab lunch while you're there. They have a great selection of food reasonably priced.

I love this place. If you are looking for old school duckpin bowling, this is the place to go. A group of 4 played for a hour for $15 a piece, great fun. Sadly there aren't too many bowling spots like this left but I sure am glad Parkville Lanes is here.

Our family really enjoys coming here on Saturdays for Youth League. The people are so friendly here and it is very clean. They have everything you need to bowl with. There is some step coming into the building.

This place is a classic. Chill, good price for group bowling, and decent duckpin bowling. Only complaint is that the shoes are really terrible and falling apart..

One of the best remaining duckpin houses and a Baltimore institution. The lanes were completely remodeled not that long ago and the staff is super friendly. The only downside is that due to the age of the equipment behind the scenes you will experience multiple pinsetter failures that may cause you to play musical chairs as you are shuffled from one lane to the next while the staff rushes to fix any issues. This place is awesome! Our only regret? We didn't find it sooner. The staff are super nice and friendly. The prices are right. It's all duckpin bowling, a Baltimore original. It's a super chill but fun environment. Meaning, the people who come here seem to be chill and that makes it even more fun. The mix of music is pretty diverse for a public place. It's clean too. Check it out. They have specials often through out the week and weekend. Love this place.

This place re as really gets 2.5 stars. The cost is $20 for 1 hour of bowling on 1 lane. Shoes are $2. The equipment is old and you must reset each round of game on your own. The employees are polite. The atmosphere ok. The bathrooms clean. We didnt get any food ! I would check out other alleys before coming back.

Duckpin bowling and standard alley cuisine for affordable prices. Loved how relaxed management was with us and our 2 year old, who was bowling for the first time. A couple times the ball got stuck midway down the lane and the manager was just like, "No problem! Happens all the time, perfectly normal." The lanes were recently refurbished and are really nice to bowl on. They host a lot of tournaments which are fun to attend. They have a lot of options in their snack bar. The coolest feature is their backdrops (Maryland Flag and Baltimore skyline) and the house bowling balls.

Had a friends BDAY party here and it was a fun time. Definitely needs updating though as none of projectors for score keeping were functioning. Otherwise very clean and respectable establishment.

Nice duckpin center. They have a Friday special where you pay $17 per person for 2 hours of bowling. So, for $34 we got the lane and shoes Quite a deal as compared to other bowling centers. Staff was very nice and interactive. Going to try to get our family together for some fun times.

This place is amazing. My kids bowl in a league here and we had my oldest sons 5th grade graduation party here. Everyone is so nice and polite. The food is delicious. Easiest party we've ever had, reasonably priced. Everyone from 3 to 40 was satisfied and enjoyed themselves. Parkville Lanes truly is an overlooked gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's the best! Highly recommend time and time again.

Had a great time. I had called ahead to see if we needed to reserve a lane and did not have to as it was not busy when we got there. Plenty of parking as it is in a shopping center. Charming old school feel to the alley. Friendly and helpful workers. We had a great time stopping here on our way back to pa from DC. I love duckpin bowling so when I'm in Maryland I try to do some duckpin bowling.

The prices have increased nearly 50%, so it's no longer affordable for my family. In one year, prices went from $17 to $25 for 2 hours of Rock n Bowling! They no longer offer Sunday specials. It's Seriously shameful! Are we still blaming covid???

Love the location but could use a little makeover to make it modern. Had a great time while I was there, the staff was excellent but the place could use a much needed makeover.

Had a fun time at a company party. Older location, scorekeeping is manual. Food is typical snackbar food. Staff is nice. Ceiling vents in the bowling area were black and moldy!

Nice place to duckpin bowl as the staff is friendly. However the establishment needs to be updated as it has dirty ceiling vents, water damage etc. Other than that a nice place for family and friends to have a nice time.

Under new ownership. They really spruced up the place, added new decorations and pinball machines. Feels more modern. They accept cards now so its not cash only. Looks like they updated the food choices there, really fair prices. Veteran/Police/Fire..etc $2.00 discount as well. Amazing time with my wife and 7 kids. Extremely well priced, the owner/manager was very helpful and friendly! We are from out of town, but hopefully will return on another visit to Maryland.

The Manager Chris is very rude and didn't want to honor the special's that they had for the holiday's he made my friend feel very uncomfortable after her son started to because you didn't want to honor it and wanted her leave.. unprofessional!!!!

The woman at the desk did not seem to care that we were waiting to ask about prices, even though the alley was basically empty. Upon speaking she was very rude. Their cost structure does not have many options. There is another venue in Towson with cheaper prices and friendlier staff.

Steve and the guys are wonderful. I bring my clients here who are mentally disablled to play on weekends and they have a lot of fun. Good guys work here though they do not allow you to get in with your own food.

We loved this place to play. Sometimes they have discounts. It is always recommended to call them beforehand by phone to make sure they have bowling lanes available.

I'm so glad they brought duckpin back to the Parkville Shopping Center. The owner was very kind to me and my son when we came to bowl. Will definitely be back soon!

Duckpin-only lanes with old equipment that doesn't work as well as one would hope. Longtime Duckpin bowlers there may appreciate the nostalgia that undoubtedly surrounds the place; newcomers like myself may not be impressed. Nevertheless, it's quite fun to bowl with younger kids as everyone is able to pick up a hurl a bowling ball. Regarding food, the pizza is a minor step above cardboard. The pretzel is decent. The chips are nothing to write home about.

So I go there on a friday at 6:00pm and they say we only have 1 lane open and we already have someone on the waiting list, so I say okay I'll WAIT around and wait until they are done so I say may I get put on waiting list. Took the grandkids (4 and 8) here and they loved it. Checked in at 10:50 am on Thursday and only one other lane being used. Cleanand lady at counter was very patience.

Go on sunday during the ravens game and its not busy. Pizza is decent for a bowling alley and the afternoon price is cgeap. Had a lot if fun with the family here.

This "house" would be exceptional if the owners would upgrade the ball returns, pin set up and score boards. They still have the orignal equipment, scoreboards get REALLY hot and the lanes break down a lot!

For years Parkville Lanes have been one of the nicer bowling alleys in the area. It is always clean, they also give great prices on any equipment you need. The same owners.

Refused a refund after bowling for 45 Minutes into a 2 1/2 Hour Rock -N- Bowl session with management asking us to switch lanes multiple times, only to be paired up on a lane with a couple that was there enjoying a date night so they can squeeze a Party of 7 on our lane that we paid for

My parents bowl there when I was a little girl. I am now 56yrs old . I loved coming there and seeing changes throughout the years . My parents are gone but I have their equipment and I walk in there I can feel there Presents thanks??????

Good deal on Rock 'n' Bowl though LivingSocial: two hours of bowling plus shoes for about $20. The scoring system is not computerized, which is nostalgic but also somewhat annoying. Cheap pitcher of beer helped compensate for that.

I really wanted to have a good time there. But its just okay. Very dated and the food sucks.

Someone from management needs to update the hours. They aren't open on a Saturday night at 7, although the website states that it is open. Doors locked and lights off.

I have been going to the Parkville Bowling Lanes for years. They keep it looking good and the staff is friendly. I now bring my kids and we always have a super-fun time!!
