Went axe throwing here with some friends and we had such a great time! It was a fun and different experience, they have a small arcade too, and they give you a few tokens so you can play, which was a nice bonus. They offer different types of axes and ninja stars with the standard reservation, which kept things interesting. They also have some cool upgrade options if you want to try something extra. Our server was super friendly and took the time to explain everything to us twice, really patient and helpful.
Went here as a meetup group and it was amazing! very fun and overall exhilarating! Mike made it easy to understand and gave a great intro. We were a group women + 1 man and everyone had fun throwing something (Whether it stuck to the wall or not), playing games, and it was easy to socialize. Highly recommend!
Did a private company event here and it went off really well and my team and I loved it. Reasonable prices, great assortment of drinks and the axe throwing lanes are well spaced out and in great shape.
We went in for my buddy?s birthday, we had fun throwing axes and ninja stars and the hour flew by! The attendant gave us safety instructions and demonstrated some throws and then dropped by occasionally to make a correction in our techniques or bring us something different to throw. I ended up having fun thrown 3-4 of the little axes at the same time, it was very satisfying watching them all stick. Ninja stars were also fun. We booked our spot online about a week ago online. Cool place, we will revisit!
Worth it, was a bit intimidating at first since I had not done any axe throwing experiences before but the employees were great at helping guide us until we were comfortable. They also have a couple of other items you can throw too (hatchets and large throwing stars). In the lobby area they have arcade games you can purchase coins for, we did not play any since the axe throwing was so fun! I recommend this for a group hangout or just a one on one you can chat and catch up while throwing stuff!
overall a super fun experience, they had axes, tomahawks, and ninja stars to throw, all 3 were unique from each other and easy to get the hang of. instructions were quick and over with, but still covered everything there was to know, which was great, really felt like we just went in and got started. our instructor, Nik, was excellent and the icing on the cake was the arcade and giant jenga at the front of the place.
It was my first axe throwing experience and so much fun! Our group got to come in and use each bag plus play multiple games! Definitely harder than I thought but after a few times, you get the hang of it. Its tucked in the corner of the Shalimar Grocery ,same parking lot. don't miss out on some fun!!
I took my team there for a morale event and they had the Absolute best time. we will definitely be going back. So much fun
This was a fun place. Easy to find and parking in the area was ok all around. They gave you plenty of things to throw and had ample time to enjoy, there were 3 of us, in and hour time frame. The employees were fun and knowledgeable. Giving you tips on your throwing if you want. It was our first time doing this and had a blast. Would highly recommend it.
We had so much fun, we created our own competition, our group loved it!!
Had an AWESOME time here today! It was my first time going and the experience was super fun. The associate was very helpful and showed us some great tips on how to throw the axe properly to make sure you hit the target. We played a game where we split up by teams and were competing against each other on who can get the most points by hitting closer to the middle. I would definitely come here again with my friends or date night!
Fun activity and concise instruction. Our large party enjoyed the arcade games as well. We will come here again!
Ever wanted to feel like John Wick or an extra from the cast of The Northman? Well, you can try at Pacific Axes where you can throw axes, knives, shurikens, tomahawks and even a shovel if you please. The location is on the smaller side so you should book ahead of time for large parties, and it is a little pricey, so keep that in mind.
This was a unique experience for us, and something fun and local to do. The owner was super friendly and informative teaching us the safety and techniques of axe throwing. He was very generous with our time reservation and said we could keep on throwing since there was an opening after us. We enjoyed the arcade games too, and had prepurchased our tokens when we made our reservation. Would definitely recommend!
Went for a birthday celebration and had a blast. After we got a hang of throwing the axes the lady working showed us trick shots which was really cool and brought out ninja stars and even Batman throwing "stars" for us to use. They also had regular darts, Connect 4 and Giant Janga available to play after our session while we figured out our dinner plans. And they followed Covid protocols which made us happy. Will definitely be back and will recommend to others looking for a fun indoor adventure/team buildin
I took my daughter and her friend for her 17th birthday party. It was our first time; We all threw and had a great time. The facility is clean and safe but with just enough atmosphere to know you are near Seattle. The axe throwing instruction made us all competent throwers in no time. The staff was friendly too. Good place, great experience, fair value: we will be back.
Only place to play pinball in town, big thumbs up from me. Tables are in great condition, some are hooked up with stern online
I had never thrown axes before. This was the first time I had an opportunity and I had a blast. The people here were pretty cool and they had a lot of different axes that you could throw including an Ninja star. I did feel a little sore for a few days afterward but it was a lot of fun. I also think that you could decompress and de-stress from some of the harder throws against the wall. If you've never been to an ax place before you should check this place out if you're in the area
Such a blast!!!! We booked a 930 reservation and didn't start until 20 mins later cuz me and my boyfriend were playing an intense game of Jenga while we waited for a group to finish up and clear out. By the end of the night, we ended up with the whole place to ourselves for the last 20 mins before they closed, so we got to use all of the lanes for a little fun competition. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better experience here!
This was so much fun! None in our group had done this activity before and all had a great experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to others. The different throwing axe options were Great too!
We had an awesome time celebrating my son?s 17th birthday here. We had the entire place to ourselves. The gentleman there was so nice, helping the boys and giving them tons of options of things to throw. We brought in snacks and pizza. The boys did not get bored and after 2 hours we had to force them to stop! Highly recommend.
Held a volunteer appreciation night at Pacific Axes and everyone had a great time. Very easy to work with. Helpful and friendly staff!
Had a great time with the family. Got in and setup quickly. Had a couple different options of sharp things to throw. Was a blast.
Really cool experience. I had never seen a place where I could get this experience and thwoing the hatchet, the hrowing star, and the ax was fascinating! Thank you! I got the hang of it pretty quick and an experience I will never forget
On my last day in Seattle, I chose to try axe throwing. I booked it online, it was so much fun even only by myself. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, offering great tips about how to adjust to hit the target. A highly relaxing and fun activity, I strongly recommended you to try it out!
We had a best time, went on the weekdays at night and staff was super friendly with a smile along the way! Based on my research they are the only Ax throwing in east side! Please support small businesses so we don't have to drive to Seattle to have fun lol
Had a great time!!! Very helpful for us 1st timers! Will be back again!
So much fun! Love the variety if throwing items. Staff were all really friendly and knowledgeable
Had a great time. Staff is nice and helpful. Pinball machines before our scheduled time was a bonus!
This place was amazing I took my 15?year old nephew here. They were clean and Covid safe. Alex was our instructor and he was great. He showed us the ropes to make us feel confident and safe in axe throwing. Alex taught us a few axe tricks also shared some great games for us to play. More then I bargained for, also I originally thought 1 hour was not enough time but wow 1 hour of axe throwing is not all that easy.
Came here for a night with my son and had a blast. The owner/manager was very cool and would come by and check on us and give us a few pointers. Super nice guy, great ace throwing spot - I'll definitely be back.
This place was perfect! Our work group of 6 had a blast. Everyone had fun and the staff were excellent teachers.
We went & celebrated a birthday here. We booked it a couple weeks in advance for 7 people, so with covid precautions we each got our own lane and essentially booked the place out (there are 8 total lanes)! It was a great experience, everyone had a ton of fun & the coach gave us tips on throwing the axes better.
Fun Date Night We had such a blast throwing ninja stars, hatchets & axes! We will for sure be back. All staff was very helpful, especially when they saw the struggle was real for a while on our side. Once we got some pointers we were hitting bullseye no problem! Good laughs and great times!
Had a great time bringing my team there and chucking some axes! Thanks for the fun! Will definitely be back!
We had a fun time throwing Axes this afternoon. Work on your technique and you will be throwing bullseyes in no time! Gets warm inside after a few dozen throws, I found myself wishing I wore lighter clothes. They have a cooler with Beer and other drinks for sale too. Enjoy some Pinball or other arcade games after your done tossing.
Pretty cool place to blow off steam a lil bit while getting a bit competitive with friends and loved one. The staff was great at giving clear instructions and coaching advice for beginners like us to pick up the techniques quickly. Their IPA tastes solid as well. Overall quite a fun time.
I celebrated my birthday here with a group of girls and it was soooo fun! Valentine helped us immensely. He was super helpful and patient teaching us how to throw the variety of tools (as there were more than just an axe to throw). And most of us were first timers! The only negative is minimal parking but they let us know way in advance about this and there's other places nearby to park. Enjoyed completely!
Significant Other and I decided to leave the fluffball at home, and have a date night. We had a great time. The staff are great at offering tips on how to throw an axe. Excellent environment. Extra thank you for working at being an environmentally friendly business.
We went for a birthday party. Since were booked as a group, we had the whole place to ourselves. They were very flexible in adding people last minute. Valentine did a wonderful job explaining how everything worked. There were a variety of axes to throw, places for our birthday cupcakes and snacks, well priced beverages - everyone in our party had a wonderful time!
Cool place. We went there as a birthday surprise. Spent the whole hour and could not stop, also learned 4 ways to throw the axe.
This was really fun! The staff are super helpful and friendly too
Had such a fun experience with our out of town family. The instructor was knowledgeable and helpful in getting us set up and comfortable. Cannot wait to try it again.
Lots of fun. Staff showed us how to throw and then let us begin. Throughout the hour, would bring over other items too that wasn't just axes. The hour just flew by, but oh man my arm was super sore two days later ager throwing the bigger axe so much so be warned!
Such a fun activity! We had a blast. Staff was professional and helpful. The facility was maintained well.
Had a really fun time here with my fianc?, instructor was kind and got us going right away. I loved spending our evening here for a fun date.
Absolutely amazing activities for the my company celebrations event in this year.. Highly recommend Pacific Axes-Axe for different company's corporate party!!! Thank you guys
Very nice place to get together, thanks for the instructor that made a minimal adjustment to me with huge impact to win my first competition. Definitely see you again soon.
Had a lot of fun. Great staff that taught us alot. Lots of different kind of axes to throw. Two teens loved it too.
Easily booked our space online. We came in a little early but we were able to start throwing since a couple booths were available. We had a great time! Multiple things to throw from axes to ninja stars. Mike was very nice and welcoming. We will come back!
First, the staff. Wow, they are so friendly, amazingly helpful and great teachers. Second... for the price you cannot beat an hour or two throwing axes. It was a blast!!!
Excellent experience - this is the third axe throwing location I've been to around the Seattle area, and was the best time that I had. The attendant Valentine gave our group a quick intro and had us throwing within five minutes, stopping by to give tips when we were having trouble hitting the targets. We went around 3PM on a Saturday and had four lanes for five people, which was excellent and far more than I've had at other locations. They have a variety of options for throwing - axes, tomahawks, and big an
There should be more large axes available in each lane. They only provided one, so after each throw, you have to retrieve it, which is time-consuming and inconvenient. Other axe-throwing venues I've visited had at least two or three axes per lane, allowing for continuous throwing without constantly retrieving the axe. On the plus side, they offer smaller axes that are easier to handle, along with ninja stars, which are pretty fun to throw.
Nikita was absolutely wonderful with helping us and teaching us how to throw an axe, ninja star, and the little hatchet! I never knew it would be so much fun. He really knew his stuff!
From the moment I walked into Pacific Axes, I knew that I was in for a treat. The alley was clean and had a fun atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they quickly got us quick intro and the set up with our lane. The Axe throwing experience was fantastic. The lanes were in excellent condition, and the axes were of good quality. The scoring system was easy to use and added to the overall experience. We had a blast competing against each other and trying to beat our high scores. The facili
We had an amazing time! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Gave clear instructions and were available to instruct or answer any questions. Place was very clean too. Great music playing. We parked on street as recommended but parking was empty when we got there. Can't wait to come back again!
Had a great time! Cole was very helpful in showing us throwing techniques. They even had a few different competitive games to play!
Facility is well maintained and the young man working gave great instructions. I can see this as a fun work team event!
They have several types of things to throw: big axes, small axes, big and small stars, so fun to pay with it! You'll definitely find what works best for you
Great place to go axe throwing. They have multiple types of blades that you can throw. The place was empty and the guy was really nice they have a small arcade area that has painball machines and racing and shooting games.
So much fun!! Had a fantastic date night with my wife (even though she DOMINATED me... like, total and complete domination). The employees were helpful and nice. They taught us the basics and were present for questions throughout. Definitely recommend!
We all had such an amazing time!! Highly recommend. Big shout out to Alex for helping us get the hang of it, teaching us different techniques and giving us other weapons to throw! Will be back!
Super fun! Friendly axe master. They also have ninja stars! Our group enjoyed our experience here.
Our friend's celebration was truly amazing, and Valentine, our instructor, played a key role in making it special. He provided clear instructions and kept checking on us throughout the event, ensuring a fantastic experience. We're thankful for such a memorable celebration.
A nice surprise for our adult son?s birthday! We all enjoyed learning how to throw the different axes and actually got better!
We went for a date night and had a blast! It was our first time throwing axes and the staff was super helpful and willing to give tips and pointers when we asked for help. I definitely recommend it for a fun evening.
Had a really fun time axe throwing here! Would absolutely come again with more friends! Vibes were good!
Incredible customer service from the gentleman working there (I didn't catch his name). He was so friendly, kind, and fun. He gave us such a great experience and went out of his way to teach us everything we needed to know about axe throwing. His demeanor was so pleasant and he really seemed like he enjoyed his job. So much so, that I thought maybe he owned the place. Will recommend to everyone I know. Wonderful experience and worth every penny.
It was hella fun n they were super nice n understanding
So much fun! We had a great time!!
Super fun!!!!! 10/10 would recommend. Went with my husband, spent like 25 minutes getting the feel of it. The girl there (I'm sorry I didn't get your name) was very helpful and gave me throwing tips. We found our groove in the last half and had a blast competing with each other. I feel like I've done a hundred lunges and some serious weight lifting so had a good workout and a great time! Definitely returning with my friends
My partner and I took my nephew and niece here for their last night in Washington and we had a blast! So much fun throwing multiple different items, (2 sizes of throwing stars, and different axe styles), and loved throwing all of them! We all agreed we'd like to come back.
Is axe throwing fun? Of course it is. We recieved a safety training which was very informative and they even offered to come back and check on us to see how things were going. They were great. However, we were both very disappointed in the overall experience for the price. They serve minimal drinks and that's it. The building had horrible lighting on the signage so it was hard to see. Luckily GPS got us there. The interior was just cages, and places for larger parties to sit while they waited to throw, and
My husband and I brought a friend for their birthday and had the BEST time. The axe masters were super professional, knowledgeable and relaxed (which is really nice when you're dealing with sharp weapons!). I was delightfully surprised by how amazing this experience was. My only recommendation is to bring cash! The axe masters are so awesome that I promise you'll want to tip. I wish I would've know it was a thing before I went! I also really loved being able to reserve our time online and that this place is
A must try for everyone! The experience of axe throwing is definitely great and the variety of things you can use is brilliant! The instructor was really great, and was very helpful and friendly. I have a 4 year old that we took along and one of the instructors there was actually keeping him busy with the kiddie toy axe throwing and he had a blast too! Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be going here again.
Had an amazing time here! Hosts are very welcoming and generous with their time and throwing style suggestions. Great group activity for anyone responsible enough to throw an axe (we had two young teens in our squad). Variety of axes to throw (plus throwing stars!) so you can practice your body mechanics and arm angles. I didn't see any long handle axes, though (but I didn't ask, either). Nevertheless, will definitely come back soon
Very fun time. As total newbs, we had a great introduction from the staff on throwing, and everyone was helpful and friendly. Definitely will go back!
Valentine and Alexei, some great young men. Taught us everything we needed to. I'm sure it will help my wife with her diaper throwing! Such a good time. Highly recommended
Amazing time! 2nd time for us and took 2 teenagers. Our instructor did a fantastic job showing us the ropes. We had so much fun with the game options. Parking was easy, great music, and a fantastic time!
My mom and I had a lot of fun yesterday as the staff was extremely helpful with the tips when it came to throwing since it was the first time we did axe throwing. The staff was energetic and made the experience fun for the both of us. I definitely recommend it for those who want to try something new.
Had a great experience hosting a teenage birthday party. Plenty of lanes for throwing axes. There are other games to keep busy if you get bored throwing axes or are not interested in that. The staff was extremely helpful throughout our private event. Would recommend for a private event.
This place was great clear and concise instructions, even if you are a total noob there is something for everyone to have a great experience. I had booked online super easy! Sam was awesome gave us some extra time and was overall a really good arm work out! Definitely will be back for more:)
It was a great night well mid afternoon. We had the whole place to ourselves. Celebrated my husband's 60th. Everyone that came had a good time. The 2 guys there wete great. Would highly recommend.
We had such a great time. The staff was friendly and talked us through it, helping with tips when we needed.
Fun little place, good for a work team event
We had so much fun throwing axes here! Super laid back environment and friendly staff. There are drinks and chips available for purchase and some additional games in the space as well (like giant jenga!). Taking off one star because we booked and paid for an hour online (9:15-10:15) but were asked to leave at 10PM - makes sense since the closing time is 10PM, but then I wish we would have had the option to book at 9PM instead of 9:15PM, especially since we paid for the full hour and drove from Seattle.
highly recommend, will be going back, had so much fun extended it to two hours. sells water, red bull and other hydrations. staff is friendly and informative helps teach you to succeed. make sure to have your friend do some slow mo vid recording over the shoulder, they come out great. an assortment of throwing weapons are handed out over time. multiple scoring games and play methods can be agreed upon between you and your friends. had so much fun I will be going back even solo. earlier in the day is bet
Fairly fun hour of axe throwing! They offer 3 different axes and 1 throwing star, for axes they have a heavy regular looking hatchet, a throwing axe with edges on the top and back of the blade for easier landing, and a throwing axe with a small front blade and back pick for more skilled throwing. Trying out all of these was pretty enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to offer an in-between axe between the hatchet and other throwing axes as the hatchet is very heavy but the throwing axes are super light. I
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
