Several highlight the beautiful setting and clean facilities. However, some criticize the owner's attitude, poor service, or lack of functioning games. A few mention issues with arcade maintenance, slow food service, or unaccommodating staff during parties. What a great place to take a group of kids! The staff is warm and welcoming, the food is out of this world, and the mini golf course is beautiful. We had homemade cheese pizza and it was the best! The kids had a great time and I will be sure to take the trip with my family. Did I mention the amazing homemade ice-cream? A great place to visit. Do not pass by!

We went as a family . We had a really good time tje grounds are beautiful. Minni golf was fun not to challenging but good for people that don't play golf. The kids had a good time at the driving range ???????????? . They have a maple ice cream sandwich that was really good. The only down fall is there was one kid working and he was running around like crazy he did a good job to keep up. But I felt sorry for him.

This was an unplanned stop but it was fun. Wacked a small bucket at the range, played a round of mini and shot some hoops inside. Mini was fun but not too challenging. Mosquitos were horrendous. I played all 18 in less than 15 minutes, maybe less than 10 even. Had to pay to rent a driver. Some of the basketballs were flat but overall it was fun.

We just tried the food at OCFC for the first time and WOW! The pizza was amazing! All homemade ingredients, fresh and hot when we got it. Vermont is lacking in good pizza, but this place has it. We are pizza snobs TBH and this really scratched the itch. Can't wait to try the burgers and other food too. We've had the ice cream before (also homemade) and it was delicious. We read some reviews about the staff being rude and I'd have to say they couldn't have been nicer. We don't have kids to play at the fun ce

What a surprise find. Located in the hills of southern Vermont we tripped upon an amazing gem of a recreational center. Only a few years old the owners scoured the country looking for what works and I think they found a fantastic formula. With putt-putt golf and a driving range along with table games and video games homemade fresh ice cream and an impressive menu all in one place! The prices are reasonable and for a place to overnight your RV it is absolutely fantastic! There is no cost to boondock and a no

Had a great time here last night! If you are ever in the area and you are looking for something fun to do, don't hesitate to stop on by. Beautiful mini golf course and lots of games. Owners are great! -Tommy and Cole Iannotti Oxford,CT

Delicious ice cream, warm and friendly service and something fun for everyone?from mini golf and a driving range to arcade games.

Super fun! The Harvest Host friendly Otter Creek Center is well worth the stop!! We drove a whole different route to stay here for the evening, and we are very glad we did?the 18 holes are fun, the 1 ft hot dog is killer, and their homemade ice cream makes this business a well appreciated Vermont mainstay! We'll definitely be back.

Great real creemees, bland food, cheese sauce tasted nothing like cheese and sm portions. One very rude employee.

We played mini golf. I'll give them two stars for being very nice people, and all the facilities being sparkling clean. But the mini golf course itself is a blasted hellscape of concrete and black mulch, with disused and inactive water features winding through. The worst part were the actual holes; it's easily the least interesting and imaginative mini golf course I've ever seen. Probably an ok place for an indoor party, especially given the lack of other options in a 30-mile radius, but there's no reason f

My family and I were visiting around the area and decided to go here to mini golf. So glad we did, delicious food made from scratch, the ice cream was great and the mini golfing was fun. The people who work there are so friendly. And the views can not be beat.

Please understand I AM aware that finding help right now is hard! Several games in disrepair, the mini golf fairways and greens littered with mulch, greatly interfering with game play, and above all, the staff acted pretty much like it didn't matter if you were being helped or not. I was not looking for 5 star spa service, as all 3 times I interacted with staff were 20+ minutes apart and each time to make a purchase. Staring at a customer and continuing on without a "just a sec" or "be right with you" fr

Super friendly staffs, awesome food (we had chicken tender and philly cheesesteak sandwich; maple icecream was so so good! Arcade, mini-golf... Great place for kids and adults!

I absolutely love this place! Every time I come down here with my friends we always have a blast. The minigolf course is a lot of fun and has some tricky holes. The food is terrific here! Most of it is homemade. The chicken tenders are quite literally the best I've ever had anywhere. The pizza is also very good, and oftentimes when my family and I don't feel like cooking, we'll order one for pickup. I also think that they have the best Maple Creemee in all of Vermont. Most other places where I have had one,

Loved visiting this place. The pumpkin soft serve was amazing and the staff was friendly. Great cleaning and sanitizing. Would recommend.

Nice place for the family. Great ice cream. Driving range and mini golf.

Super sweet young lady working the counter. Great maple cremee!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not waste your time. The owner is so rude and doesn't like children. He is in the wrong business. He will watch you during your visit and scold you on various things such as ? rocking on the motorcycle? arcade game, stepping on the much, and he even took 3 basketballs away from my 9 year old son when he was in the middle of an arcade game! Will never go back. Based on all the other 1 star reviews this place won't make it

Owner is a jerk if you are on your way to Vermont can you stop at this place along the side of Route seven to get an ice cream and a pet for a bathroom break? He will come outside, screaming frantically and says that he supposedly has pesticides on the lawn while his dog is inside the building going berserk, no signs for pesticides on the grass. Wonder what would happen if a child was on the grass with pesticides will not be supporting this business as we have many times on our travels.

Fun place. Basic golf course but fun. Really decent food too.

Ice cream is thick and has a lot of cream, which makes it delicious. We all got maple creemes, a must have on a visit to VT. This Fun Center also has mini golf and arcade games.

We had fun mini golfing!

Had my grandsons 10th birthday party here. The kids loved it. We will be going back in May for my granddaughters party. Pizza was yummy, staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for the great time!!

This place has fabulous food and the service was great! The owner was extremely courteous and the workers are very friendly. We had a lot of fun playing miniature golf. There are many indoors games as well. The ice cream is out of this world! I highly recommend this place for a date night or family fun!!

This place seems to be out in the middle of nowhere, but it's worth the drive from north or south. We don't live anywhere near here, but find ourselves traveling Route 7 many times during the year. We love stopping here for ice cream, but there's many reasons for families and friends to come for fun activities.

We went for Minigolf. The course was not my favorite. It wasn't very creative and somewhat frustrating.

I called in a pizza order for pickup, everything went smoothly, I had prompt and friendly service when I arrived. Yes there was a chill dog there, and their no-dog policy for customers seems completely reasonable. Also they have very good maple creemee/homemade cookie ice cream sandwiches.

Our family had a blast here. We stopped here on our way home from a VT trip. We had some good food, had a nice conversation with the owner. Cool guy who was originally from closer to our home town. Super clean and great views. The ice cream was great. We also got gamer cards so we can come back and play in the arcade anytime we are back in the area. He had great prizes for the kids. They loved it. Wish him and the staff continued success

Well that was interesting. Water as blue as the freshest urinal cake!

This place has great food and ice cream. Lots of games to play and it even has a bounce house for the kids. The min gold course is great and always so beautiful in the summer with all the plants and blue water falls. The prices are reasonable and the owners are so nice and always inviting, the staff is always friendly and helpful.

The owner was extremely nice. He let us spend the night in our RV parked in front of his Fun Center. The pizza we bought from him was delicious, so was the ice cream. Located on the foot of the Green Mountain National Forest, his Fun Center has a stunning views of the mountain. He was working alone, though because of the Covid situation when we were traveling last year.

My family and I stopped here on our way home from Vermont for ice cream. For folks, not from Vermont, residents take their maple syrup flavored ice cream, or "maple creemee", very seriously in that state. The ice cream here is hand made on site and is so good! My toddler and husband enjoyed the maple soft serve and I had cookies and creme, both made with real maple syrup, instead of extract. We chatted with the owners and they were friendly. The small arcade and mini-golf look fun. Next time we are headed u

Came here with my husband and 2 teenage boys. We all had a great time. Played mini golf, boys played on the arcade games, had lunch and then enjoyed some delicious homemade ice cream. The mini golf course was beautifully manicured...like new. Lunch was delicious and the ice cream was scrumptious! So many choices to choose from. We highly recommend this place for some family fun!!!

We love Otter Creek Fun Center! Everything is made from scratch, with lots of local, uncompromising ingredients. The Maple Creamies are so delicious. Miniature Golf is a great outdoor activity. The Gaming area is a hot spot for kids birthday events, once we see the other side of this unprecedented time. For now the food is great for takeout (especially the pizza) and there is much needed firewood for sale. The owners are amazingly ambitious and friendly people. God bless America.

Great family place. Lots of fun and the food is spectacular! All hand-made generous portions. Plus the prices are reasonable. Anthony is friendly and always up for a conversation. It's a little out of the way but worth the drive. Not a big selection of games, but enough for a couple hours of enjoyment. The mini golf is professionally deisgned and loads of fun, too.

Stopped on our way back to Rutland after picking blueberries in Dorset. Excellent Chicken Tender Platter. Hand breaded and perfectly fried, not your usual tender from the freezer. French fries were tasty and Maple creamee was super creamy and strong maple flavor. Definitely one of the best we've had. We didn't play mini golf or games this time but have taken family there in previous years. Still looks well maintained and really clean.

Great food! The only place within 25 mile with DIPPED ICE CREAM CONES! Really good ice cream flavors, custards and "Maple Creemies" a local Vermont treat. The place is clean and they have a lot of fun games and arcade stuff. Huge outdoor seating area and indoor seating too. They are hosting a Haunted House which should be fun. Mini golf has no obstacles or cute decorations but place is new. Great place for family fun or a quick bite while out riding your motorcycle.

Was already happy with my visit when we left, the food was great, the atmosphere and the people were pleasant. Then, during our ride home, my daughter told me it was her best party she'd ever had. Couldn't recommend this place enough, we'll definitely be back for more parties and just a day of fun here and there too.

Nice staff, surprisingly good pizza and ice cream. The unlimited bounce house is a great deal, the kids loved it. We'll be back in the summer to try the golf. Entertained two three year old girls for hours for a great price. Check them out!

Stopped by on a whim because the sign said best Maple Syrup Creamy. This is no joke and the owner Anthony makes it all from scratch. He takes great care and pride making his Creamy and Ice Cream product and it shows. It's the best Maple Syrup Creamy I have ever had. If the food is the same you're in for a treat!

what a terrific afternoon we had at OCFC, the mini putting course is challenging and fun for all ages. the food and ice cream got the kids jumping! don't drive past this attraction! make the afternoon a hit with the family!

The BEST maple soft serve!!! They now make their own hard ice cream. That was SO good too! Always friendly and clean. Worth the trip!

Very disappointed with my visit here. The advertised prices for food on the website and on the signs in front of the building are not what i got charged. I was charged an extra $10 for two burgers and some fries and when i asked them about the price difference the girl said they have new prices, yet didn't inform me prior to placing my order. They did not honor their advertised prices and did nothing to make the situation right. Furthermore, I was told the food would be ready in 20 minutes when in reality

Neat place in, what felt like, the middle of nowhere! Nice selection of video games, large menu, good food, and delicious ice cream and shakes.

Great for the kids in the summer as well as in the winter!! The husband and wife that own this business make you feel like part of their family. They are extremely good people! They will even make you a homemade ice cream cake if you choose to book a bday party (at a small extra cost) who else will do that for you?!

We love mini golf and make a point of finding a course whereever we go camping. We found Otter Creek Fun Center on one of those attractions map and decided to try it. The weather hadn't allowed them to get the water flowing on the course yet, but we played anyway. The course is a lot of fun (even if there are a couple of really hard holes) and it's in great shape. The owners are as nice as they can be. We had a great chat with them. You have to try to maple ice cream, too!

Delicious maple ice cream. Pretty noisy inside with the TV and games. Outside seating is ideal.

You have to stop in an have one of these ice cream sandwich 10/10

Very rude owner.. he is rude to children! Food was terrible and over priced service was horrible and took about 25 mins to ask me what i wanted when there was no one else there.. very few games! Save your money and avoid this place. If your looking for food I suggest going another 15 minutes north to the snack bar! Will not ever visit this pace again mostly due to how the owner acts and treats his workers which I forgot to mention above! 0 stats if there was the option!

Awesome place for family fun! The food was great, and the prices were reasonable. Lots of variety in the video games so everyone from our 4 year old to the parents had fun. Highly recommend making a stop here if you are in the area. And definately have a homemade icecream sandwich before you leave!

Owners are very rude. Bounce house is on concrete and very unsafe for children. They are not pet friendly. They aren't even child-friendly. Made a point to tell my kids everything they cannot touch- including the games..this place lacks customer service on every level.

Some teen employee said my 2 year old couldn't sit on the car game while I waited for my wife to get out of the bathroom. People here are rude and there are better options around.

Beautiful place, great atmosphere, wonderful, welcoming friendly owners!! Reasonable $ Clean and inviting atmosphere. Great food! Best maple walnut ice cream!! Always a pleasure to come back.

?DO NOT LISTEN TO THE OTHER REVIEWS. This place was the worst place I think I have been to in the past 10 years. The workers took 10 minutes to ask what we wanted and took another 10 minutes to get our ice cream. One of the workers was also not taking orders and instead talking to one of their friends. Outside of the building there is a sign that says no dogs but one of the workers came in with her dog not on a leash. The ice cream was good but the service was TRASH.?

Beautiful place tucked in a valley. Nice miniature golf course and small driving range. The Sundays were amazing and they sell Vermont syrup! Great place. Friendly employees.

Very unfriendly owner?rude and disrespectful. Do not waste your money at this establishment? Service poor, NOT dog friendly at all ( even in parking lot) although dog laying in kitchen ( hmm health dept violation???) Owner needs a course in customer service. First mean person we've met in Vermont was actually from NY? shocker!

My family and I had a great time mini golfing! The course was very clean and well maintained. The Otter Blasts and smoothies were delicious!

This place is a gem! Dance dance revolution, air hockey and other arcade games. The thing that makes this place great is actually the food especially the home made ice cream and hand dipped waffle cones.

Went here for mini golf, probably one of the best places I've been to! Well maintained. Beautiful views while you play. The course itself was very well done, decorated nicely. Staff was super friendly!

The owners are fanfreakintastic, food is delicious, views are beautiful and fun things to do! This place can't be beat! (Be sure to try the home made ice cream!)

An oasis! In need of whatever and this is your stop! Inspiring to see such a hardworking owner offering so much to the community and those passing through. I always stop on my way for a maple creamy (and occasionally some fried clams!)

What a fun center! We took the day and played mini golf, and some arcade games. The owner makes all of the food homemade! It was delicious! We will definitely be back again!

Nice place only ate and got ice cream. They were really slow with the food. However, we had chicken wraps and they were excellent. Ice cream was good too.

Nice little minigolf, if a little samey between the holes. Stunning location, though. Wonderful ice cream, too.

The water features that we drove from NY for to play mini golf around weren't running, just sitting turned off and stagnant on a 90 degree day. None of the arcade games were even on to play. No music... Just a bummer of an atmosphere all around

First they really have no games. The only games they really have except air hockey and two racing games are just games where you put in a dollar to push a button once and try to win. Next the food was not good. We had soft burnt fried food. It isnt a very good fun center. But what do expect for vt.

Short putts but very cute mini golf. Could use more video games. Food was good. So was the ice cream. Peaceful setting. Had a good time. Very clean place.

The people are fantastic, the food is all made from scratch, which can be bothersome, but completely worth it, great prices and a nice environment all around ????????????

All the games are new and clean. Good food - growing number of games. Great mini golf course. Looking forward to them adding more games, batting cages, etc as they grow.

Very nice mini golf course with some genuinely challenging holes. Limited arcade games but still plenty to do after golf. Easy to see from the road and is usually not crowded.

So much fun. Very clean. Mini golf is excellent. Food is fresh and cooked perfectly. Great place for the whole family year round.

Staff was very friendly, food was great and a good variety, and the view was really nice. Great place for a date or family day.

The Danby Country Bluegrass Festival was held there today! Wonderful. People had alot of fun there while listening to the great music!!!!!

Challenging and fun course. First time with holes on an angle!

A very unassuming Fun Center closer to the Green Mountain with Alamazing Soft Serve Ice Creams! Stopped here by chance during Peak Fall foliage and the location was BREATHTAKING!

Super fun place with reasonable prices, and delicious homemade food. We love the burgers, I had the philly cheese steak and it was amazing!

Good food (breakfast buffet), attentive and accommodating staff, clean and well kept. Could use some no-slip strips on bare concrete areas for kids running in socks.

This is place is the best the gentleman who owns the place is the kindest and very understanding to families especially young families he seems to have a kind heart and cares about his community and it makes for a wonderful kid friendly/family friendly atmosphere and the whole thing makes for the best time!! I recommend this place 100%

It was a great time lovely people very friendly awesome time. Grandchildren had a wonderful time. Clean just an absolutely all around fantastic experience we will go back.

Nice place in the middle of nowhere. Homemade ice cream drew us in and it was delicious. Well worth the stop.

Hosted a birthday party at this location- for the price the person in charge was very rude and unaccomidaring, for something as small as wanting a pitcher of water. Would not recommend for birthday parties!

Super friendly, great service (even through rough times such as COVID), good food, everything works. I love going here, and can't wait to go back in the summer.

VERY RUDE OWNER this place sucks we just went he was a very rude and disrespectful person not too mention disgusting and a horrible cook this place needs too be shut down so many flys and bugs not too mention the prizes were covered in dust and mold they need too be shut down

Friendly, friendly ppl. Good pizza and ice cream. Stayed over on the grounds so a Harvest Host guest. Thanks OCFC.

Awesome arcade and the mini golf is pretty sweet. Food takes a while but is good enough to wait for

I had a birthday there and it was splendid. Anthony the owner was so polite and kind. It really made me happy I chose that place for my birthday party! ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Stopped here for a bite to eat while passing through. Great place, clean, great food , great for kids and some of the nicest people I've ever met.

Nice place. Good driving and mini golf. The maple ice cream was great.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
