Awesome atmosphere, this place is nerd heaven. Great fun drinks, good selection of beer on tap but you really want to come here for the cocktails. Pizza is incredible, and the cherry on top is the arcade is all free (minus the pinball machines) and the game selection is awesome. A few dozen original machines from the 80s (Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Burger Time etc) all the arcade staples are here.
They no longer serve the pizza as of Halloween 2024. The drinks and the bar itself will always be the star of the show here. They're fun and inventive with a great selection of beer on tap. The staff has always been great each and every time I've been here. However, the food menu is limited and unexciting. The worst part of it is its execution and presentation. What could be decent deal on a Thursday Dollar Wing night is really just sopping moist wings destined for the trash. For a place that sits directl
This place was awesome! I went here with some friends for the first time the other day and it was amazing. The drinks were all delicious, and you can even a roll a die to see what shot you'll get, which was really fun! The bartenders were all super friendly too, I'll definitely come here again :]
i'm honestly disappointed. visiting huntington and was really interested seeing another arcade bar especially as an arcade enthusiast, but not only did it not open until 10 minutes past the time it said--which is fine, i understand trying to get everything up and ready--but there were quite a few games not in working condition and it was also quite dirty. the floor was really sticky, there was a sheets cup sitting on the dance dance revolution cabinet that had a mysterious yellow liquid in it that clearly h
I stopped in because I wanted to play some pinball and I was not disappointed. They have a nice variety of pinball machines and arcade cabinets. Seems like most of the classic cabinets are on freeplay which is nice. Pinball is $1 for three balls which is the going rate. I ordered a cocktail, the Yoshi's Island and it was a delicious fruity take on a long island iced tea. I've been here before and I will come back again.
My husband and I tried this place out for the first time today and loved it! It's full of nostalgia and good vibes. The drink menu is so fun, the game selection is amazing, and while I didn't get to try the food I definitely will next time around. Bring some change with you, not all the game are free but many of them are. The bartender was so friendly too! We will definitely be back.
Our favorite bar! The staff is AMAZING ( we did our engagement photos here ), and the drinks are reasonably priced. A great assortment of video games, including a working DDR machine now! Plenty are free, and those you have to pay for are also reasonably priced. Definitely recommend checking this place out for my fellow video game lovers!:)
It's a great place to go play video games, they have a lot of free video games and other ones that you can pay for as well. They have a full bar and they also have a pizza place that has Chicago style pizza. It tasted good but not my favorite
I really like old north. I do feel like the themeing inside could be a little better. The drinks are good. They used to have a taiko no tatsujin machine (which is my all time favorite rhythm game) and they got rid of it so I'm kinda pissed about that. Overall I like it though.
Usually really good service, but went here today and got almost completely ignored several times to the point it was obviously malicious. Every other time I've been here it was great experience, don't know what happened tonight, but felt completely unwelcomed and like I was targeted. I almost always tip 20 dollars but won't return after this
This place is a nostalgic throwback! Not only are the vibes on point with a casual atmosphere, but the location to downtown Huntington is super convenient! I didn't order any food during my visit, but the aroma of garlicky cheese pizza absolutely saturated the space and was making it INCREDIBLY HARD not to place an order. Finally, my bartender, Heather hooked me up with one of the absolute tastiest cocktails I've ever had in my life! If she takes your order, be sure to tip her WELL! Bottom line: go check em
My family of five had SO much fun here! All but the pinball machines and Guitar Hero are free! Fantastic for groups of all types. 21 and over after 8pm I believe. I cannot wait to go back with an adult group!
(EDIT) I returned to the bar last night 2/8 with a friend for Taylor Swift night and ended up having a grand time. I believe that the current owner truly does care about this business's future in Huntington as he had a suggestion bowl for people to freely express how they feel in exchange for a Friendship bracelet. The current bar staff we're very kind and the mocktails [ I couldn't drink alcohol this time :( ] tasted great! I really believe that music events can bring more and more people in as Huntington
This arcade bar is on the same floor as Marquee Cinemas. I stopped by to check this place out after watching a movie. It was a great feeling to see arcade games, consoles, and pinball here. I wish places like these existed in my city. They had some of the classic games I grew up playing like Donkey Kong, Duck Hunt, Mortal Kombat. This place can easily accommodate large crowds. The arcade games are free as long as you keep ordering something from the bar. But, you do have to pay for pinball and air hockey. T
It is unfortunate to see a place I once loved and frequented often, turn against its customers when given critique by the community. They are falsely advertising an event on 3/7/25 as a ?rave? despite there being no DJ present. When the community brought this to Old North?s attention, Old North ignored and deleted comments on their social media, and eventually block three different social media accounts of their own local patrons. As someone who has worked in customer service for 14 years, I would assume th
Quite literally my favorite place in the world. My happy place. I wish I could come here every day. They have 2 types of dance dance revolution, tons of rhythm games, pinball machines, arcade games, console games. Drinks are all delicious and affordable. Can't recommend this place enough. Plus after 8 it's adults only and they music gets loud which is fun. They also have board games and chess and outside games like big jenga and big connect 5.
Super cool place, most games are free except for the pin ball and a few other games. They have Virgin drinks the kids can get or drinks for adults as well. They have a nice area outside with games and the atmosphere inside and out is pretty darn cool. I felt like a kid going to the arcade in the late 80s and early 90s. Just for that it was worth the trip.
I stopped by on a Saturday and was impressed with what this place had to offer. If you like arcades and alcohol then come inside! The pinball selection was very good. The new Jaws table is available to play. Many modern Stern tables are also available to play. Pinball tables are set to a dollar a play, or three plays for two dollars. Pinball is not set to free play regardless of purchase, but it is definitely worth checking out regardless. I would like to see Jersey Jack and Spooky tables available
Disappointed. Went here with high expectations and was disappointed. As we have been to the Columbus location before and thought this would be similar. Alot of the machines were out of order. Their coin machine was out of service and their "munchies" were limited to 4 items because they were out of the rest. For a Saturday I would have thought they would be better prepared.
Quicksilver was phenomenal! Even when it got busy! We barely had to wait to play games, if at all. The bar staff worked like a well-oiled machine, too! With 5 bartenders I never had to wait more than a few minutes to get a drink. Each drink was spot on and delicious! I even ordered from DigDog, the food place inside. IT WAS EXCELLENT! This place is absolutely amazing and I'm so glad we have something like it here in Huntington. Note that the drinks are a little expensive, but it absolutely makes since as a
Don't know how this doesn't have a straight 5 stars??? This place is great!!!! Beer, check. Mocktails, check. Free 80s and 90s arcade games, check. Pinball, check. Free console games, check. Board games and other games like cornhole, check.
Food taste like garbage and the service is terrible. Bartenders just ignore you. Waited 10 minutes for a drink and just ended up walking out.
This place was absolutely amazing! The drinks were great, the games were fun and the atmosphere was incredible! Will be going back soon!
Had an absolute blast really fun great environment great service if you haven't been there you got to stop by highly recommend it
If you have ever enjoyed playing pinball or video games this is a great place for fun. Staff are friendly and they work hard to keep an amazing selection of "vintage" games working.
Awesome games. Awesome drinks (you gotta try the ninja turtles one and the little beer) and awesome staff.
This place is super akward, the store temperature was super humid, the games were sorta cool and the drinks were interesting, but the service was rude. me and my friend decided to check out some of the games and here comes a lady "if your gonna hangout buy something from the bar first" I would recommend a different arcade if you are looking for games over drinks. not very kid friendly.
I'm still giving this place 5 stars but I'm revising my review hoping management will see it. I take my son here regularly for father/son outings. The last 2 times we've been here, the music has been completely foul. I don't mean just a few curse words, but it's completely filthy and not appropriate for kids. We actually had to leave today because of it. Either tone down the music or don't open the place up to kids. I'm not a prude by any means but this was ridiculous.
This place is great! Under 21 can play until 8 pm accompanied by an adult. Free to play if you are buying drinks. DDR is here! There is probably 70 arcade games, 30 pinball machines and 4 screens with emulators for console action. This is a privately owned establishment and most of the games are from a private collection. There is a kitchen open with typical bar food for video game fuel. The bartenders are quick with the pour and great at mixing some great cocktails with a video game twist. Also giant jenga
I just wanted to play some games but you have to order stuff from the bar. I'm not a drinker. I wish they had an option to just play some games with quarters. It was a Saturday night and the place was dead empty, so I'm not really sure how the policy nets them much profits.
Good food good times! Kids loved it. Bartender was friendly and on task! ????
Older games are cool, but honestly doesn't seem well taken care of. Don't recommend wearing anything patriotic inside, majority of customer base will give dirty looks or make comments without directly talking to you. Not the best place to buy drinks, bartenders aren't the best or most experienced. People raved about the pizza, but was kinda okay. Just wasn't overall happy with the experience but do love the idea. Hopefully this place can grow and get better.
Perfect spot for all generations! They have a kid friendly menu with mock tails during the day, making this the perfect family getaway. You can either play the retro arcade games, tv video games, some more current arcade games, or the outdoor life size games (like jenga). At night it is always popular and their drinks are always on theme. Neat place! Support local ??
Awesome bar. Huntington needed something like this. Service is great, even when busy. Drinks are good and fairly priced. HUGE selection of games, and everything except pinball is free. I was a big fan of the Butterbeer (dude, it comes with a COOKIE) and the Fairy Fountain (absinthe!!) Even when busy (like, opening weekend busy) the bar is big enough that you don't feel crammed in there. Possibly my new favorite bar in Huntington, even if it didn't have the games. As for the 1 star reviews.... Most people d
Cool concept, love that the games are free. You do have to pay for pinball. Bar service wasn't the best. It wasn't super busy but bar tender was super slow and it took about 10 minutes to get served with 2 customers ahead of me with one drink each. I think better training should have been provided. They were out of peach snaaps which was needed for one of their signature drinks. It took 15 min to close the tab. Also, if you're paying with a $50 bill they should have change available (witnessed another custo
Great place for fun. They have a large selection of video games from the past several decades, all set for free play. Only the pinball machine(all new) and the air hockey take money to play. The bar is nice with a good selection of craft beers and themed drinks (both with and without alcohol). I didn't get a chance to try them, but the had a large selection of hit dogs.
I went on the Fourth of July with someone special and had an amazing time. The staff is great, the food is delicious, and the other patrons are so friendly. It's really a gem. If you get the chance to go, do it. It's delightful.
As a bar, this place is great. As an arcade, it's even better; arcade machines and home consoles new and old, and even pinball tables are available to play. The atmosphere is absolutely euphoric for anyone who likes video games, but even to those who aren't fans, you'll have plenty to do while waiting for your food.
One of the best local spots when you're looking for something to do! The drinks are pretty good, great beer selection, the bartenders are always very friendly and attentive. There's lots of arcade games and some fun outdoor games like giant jenga and connect four. ???????? Great local spot!
Amazing, went with my wife and two daughters before the 8 oclock curfew. Staff was incredibly nice and well informed the employee with "tattoos on their arms" was incredibly kind and sweet to my daughters. Their game selection is phenomenal. A great place, to hang out and have some drinks or to just play some games with your kids or friends.
We had a great time and had a lot of fun games to play! The food was good and the drinks were even better. We went down for a child's birthday party and had an excellent time.
I'm so disappointed. We went her for my husband?s birthday and everyone loved it. My kids have begged to go back, so we finally did. Unfortunately, the sign said open at 4 and they still weren't open 25 minutes later. There was a group of people waiting and nothing was said to them on why the had the drinks sign out, but the doors locked. People were inside and would just look at us and turn. One girl inside gave my niece a nasty look when they made eye contact. We were completely understanding until they c
Great new addition to Pullman Square. I love pinball and they have several brand new machines that are awesome. Pinball and air hockey are the only things you have to pay for, otherwise the games are free if you're buying drinks at the bar and there are a TON of games to choose from. It's great that it's 21+ only after 8PM so you aren't drunk around a bunch of kids. Highly recommended.
Came to grab some lunch in Huntington and happened to cross this amazing bar. There is only one other bar in which you dont have to pay for arcade games but it's in Cincinnati. This place Is family owned and expanding. The beer and drinks here are great and a huge selection. Highly recommend you drop on in for a friendly fun time.
Quicksilver is truly one of the best hang out places in the tri state area. Don't listen to the reviews saying that it's too expensive or that they're rude to minors (it's not rude to remove a child from an adult arcade as according to their own rules). If you're looking for something fun to do other than just drink then this is definitely the place to be. If you aren't interested in cool arcade games and free entertainment then maybe you should just drink at home. Otherwise the combination of craft beer, m
This place is really fun. A surprising amount of arcade games and I love that they have some console games thrown in as well. The fact that the vast majority of games are free is a huge plus. Now that the kitchen is opening up, it really is a great spot to go with friends to spend a couple of hours.
Where else can a family of three enjoy an evening of good food, excellent beer, kid-friendly drinks, and free 80s arcade games for less than $50? I love this place! And I love taking people here when they're visiting from out of town. We live in Charleston, but it's worth the hour drive. Can't wait to go back...again! Oh, one more thing - they play great music (80s tunes of course) and it is not too loud. So you can actually talk to your friends and family and place your drink and food orders easily.
My fianc? and I came during the day to check it out and it was awesome, so we came back later that night and had a blast. I've now become addicted to the Burger Time game lol. IDs are checked at the bar and at the front door after 8pm. I witnessed both times being checked. The employees are super cool and nice. They will even recommend drinks for you to try. There even one employee trying to convince the owner to sell pepperoni rolls! I can't wait til you guys get your food up and going. Highly recommended.
A very interesting and unique concept. Tons of older games, mostly free (pinball isn't) with a bar and food. I visited on a Saturday night - it was quite crowded and couldn't play many of the games. Update 06/2021: The place is getting a tad run-down. The bathroom graffiti needs to be cleaned up on a regular basis and games that are broken need to be fixed (Cruisin World).
Time travelled back to the 90's. Loved this game as a kid. Could not resist. Beat the game again. Highly recommend.
Super fun place to go with friends! Tons of free arcade games, with classic home consoles thrown in as well. They have pinball too if that's your thing, but being quarters. The drinks are all super good and have fun themes too! Definately somewhere to check out if you're a bit nerdy
I went with a friend on opening day and again with my husband a week later. Both experiences were fantastic!! Everyone was polite, the bar tenders were quick under pressure, and everything was very clean. We were carded at the door after 8 PM. Kids are allowed in until then but I think they are suppose to leave after 8. If you're looking for something to do while having a drink this is the place. I recommend the TMNT cocktail, a game of Qbert, and giant jenga on the patio!
The drinks are expensive, but it makes sense considering you get endless lives on almost all of the games. The whole place is a blast to the past, and my friends and I will definitely be back for more drinks and fun times! Only complaint I have is the need for more control of some kind over the children they let in until 8pm. They make a mess of things and ruin some of the controllers and machines. If they are going to allow loads of screaming, destructive kids in all day, some regulations should be put in
Fantastic! Most of the games are free when you buy drinks. The drinks are good and there's plenty of room to move around between machines. Most machines have somewhere nearby to place your drink. The pinball machines take quarters!
I love the concept! This area needed something like this. You do have to pay for pinball ($1/game). The drinks are pricey in my opinion but it is to help cover the fact that most games are free. We went when they first opened and also couldn't go until 4pm. Not sure if they started opening early yet or not.
Absolutely loved the games food wasn't that great but games and drinks are awsome
This is the best barcade-style place I've been to yet. The drinks are creative and play to 90's nostalgia, which I'm a sucker for, and the game choices are top notch. All the best co-op beat'em ups, fighters, shooters, and NES, SNES, N64, PS1, and GC setups. The games are included with a drink, except for pinball and ski/basketball, and almost every machine is in top shape. It's a good thing I don't live in the area, else I would spend too much time here.
This is an awesome place to check out, they have some really cool machines
Horrible place with great games. It's a shame when a good idea is bastardized by poor staff and a lack of any clue as to how to successfully open a business to the public. This bar is new and has a solid opportunity to turn it around, yet red flags point to the prudent decision of choosing another bar/arcade if you're looking for a night of drinking without experiencing a hassle great enough to inspire you to take the time to write a one star review.
Great atmosphere and great service. When I get asked for my card at the door they are always welcoming and professional. It's kept clean and the machines are well taken care of. Bartenders are nice and every time they do rounds on the floor to pick up glasses they always ask if you need anything :D
My visit was a very fun and pleasant experience. The staff members were very kind and friendly, most of the arcades worked very well, the atmosphere is nice, and the drinks are very good. I hope this place will stick around for a while. :)
This is a great concept that many bigger cities have had for a few years now. Huntington now has one. It's spacious, many games to play, signature drinks are fun and reasonably priced, 14 beers on tap, and a full bar with a shooter list. Why are the drinks/beer roughly a dollar or so more than other local establishments? Because you get to play 90% of the games for free! Pinball, DDR and air hockey are $1 a play. Why $1? There is no way to set these games on "free play" like the other arcade games. The $1 a
Went with some friend from NYC. Everything about it wAs great. Our friends loved it too, said it's just like a place they have up there, but even better bc if the free play. I don't know why anyone is saying the staff was rude, bc they were all so great. Of coarse; we were nice to them, so maybe if they are rude , possibly it could be you? Just sayin. The drinks were so good, we tried as many as we could. The prices were surprisingly less than I thought they would be, so that was nice. Looking forward to go
Only bar I enjoy! Everyone is always so nice and all of the drinks are great. My husband and I love coming here! We've been coming now for a little over a year, and don't plan on stopping.
I'm a newbie to West Virginia from NC. I've been here a year and been staying indoors because moving has felt like such a shift in what I'm used to, from higher paying jobs to... I won't get all into that. But I've been shy and depressed. Discovering this barcade was the first time since I've been here that I've truly enjoyed myself and been able to look at my surroundings in a different light. I loved the people, the beer selection on tap was what I was used to seeing in Charlotte, and the collection of ga
I live near the Columbus, OH location and have to say I enjoyed the Huntington location so much more. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Great game selection!
Great idea, great location, great people. Can't wait to watch the idea evolve. Giant Connect 4 is a nice touch. The drinks are perfect and, parents: they are reliable about carding. Keep it up y?all.
Good drinks that can mask the alcohol taste if you really need to, friendly service, and games nearby. I'd recommend opening up with two shooters (Counterspell) and then going into some of the taller cocktails from there. The games are for the most part either free, with the whole thing using an honor system for buying something for admission. Fair enough, I can't play DDR sober anyway. Only two problems I noticed during my visits there during a business trip last week: one of the machines (a space shoote
Awesome place to have drinks, food and old school games all in one!
I love the Quicksilver arcade! I wish that there was more concepts in the area like this fine establishment. Adult beverages, bar food and free arcade games that you can enjoy blasts from the past in classic stand up arcade cabinets.
Had an absolute blast!! At least half the games are free with a drink purchase and they buy quarters back if you have leftovers. 10/10 service. The bartender was so friendly and conversational!
Fantastic atmosphere with a bunch of great games, plus a bunch of classic ones that you don't see anywhere else.
I work in Pullman Square where the barcade is located. I've had some employees tell me you have to be 21+ to enter, but some say 18+ to enter until 8pm. I'm 19 and my boyfriend is 20, and we've been dying to go since we heard there would be a new arcade in the area. We don't want to drink, but since games are free we would buy non-alcoholic drinks if need-be. Just not sure if we can even get in? People, especially my coworkers, are seeming to LOVE this barcade. Anyone know the age limit?
Kitchen service incredibly slow. Will try again, had to be short handed or something. Will try again. I do not recommend the wings. Worse I've ever had.
Atmosphere was great , alot of games, just a fun relaxed place. I got the 'Yoshi's Island' drink , wasnt a huge fan , didnt have a tropical flavor or even a hint of Sprite.
Employee with tattoos on arms threatened to punch my younger brother that didn't know to leave at 8pm for being under 21. It's bad when the person just enjoying the arcade has to deescalate the situation by being calm to a violent employee. Not safe for kids.
Great place to go for a drink and to hang out with friends and relive fun memories from your youth. It's been packed the first two weekends since opening, so there might be some long lines - but in my experience the staff have been super friendly.
Very cool arcade! Great atmosphere with food and drinks available. Perfect place for a fun night out.
Not the place for a birthday party; Food is overpriced and literally was served store bought pizza bites. I went to order pitcher drinks after paying over $100 for what little food we did get; was expected to pay $2 per drink for each guest because they do not offer pitchers like I was told when I booked the party.
Wings were great, Atmosphere is a gamer space with a few that are there if course just to get drunk lol
Haden't been in more than a year but this place still Rocks! I think my limit is three Yoshi's and 4 to 5 beers max. Placed top 10 on Star Wars and 2nd on Guardians of the Galaxy ???? pretty good nite! Thx ??
Friendly staff, very clean, plenty of old school vintage games
they do not serve food anymore
Great bar! Nice beer selection, drinks are flavorful, and the games are free! Will definitely be coming back in the future.
Fun place, to take the kids(early) and enjoy a few beers(flying dog tropical wheat is a must try) pizza was good(thin crust) wings and Mac and cheese good too. Good way to kill a day.b
We didn't eat but the people who had ordered and where eating seemed like the favored the pizza one thing was awesome is that one didn't have to pay for the games so it's a good place to go or to take teenaged kids they can play sand no cost we had fun the short time we visited and we have plans on going back it's definitely worth stopping in and checking out we plan to go back and try out the pizza it looked yummy
A true nerd heaven. With wall to wall arcade cabinets, pinball machines, and retro consoles, there is truly something here for everyone. The staff was delightful and never seemed too busy or bothered to help!
Great experience, excellent bartender. Innovative drinks, great selection of drinks. Looking forward to trying their pizza at some point. I will definitely be coming back.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
